This study employed questionnaire survey and collected 216 data. The structural equation modeling (SEM) method is used to test the hypotheses of the study. As a result, the service provider's authenticity has a significant positive effect on the constructive voice of the customer and a negative effect on the destructive voice in the failure situation. In addition, constructive voice had a significant positive effect on relationship retention intentions and destructive voice had no significant effect on relationship retention intentions. This study suggests the importance of customer voice as well as the factors to increase customer positive voice in the failure situation and provides an opportunity to be interested in customer voice.

  • This study investigates the effects of casino servicescape and customer interaction on the emotions and loyalty of Chinese and Japanese customers. Data on casino servicescape, customer interaction, pleasure, arousal, and dominance (PAD) emotions, and loyalty were obtained from 275 Chinese and Japanese gamblers in Korea's foreigner-only casinos, and structural model analysis using AMOS 21.0 was conducted to verify the model. This study empirically confirmed the similarities and differences in PAD emotions between Chinese and Japanese customers on casino servicescape and on their interactions at casinos. By doing so, this study theoretically attempts to extend the existing research framework, and demonstrates the need for casinos to consider the role of culture/nationality in the context of international marketing when targeting international consumers.

  • With the rapid advancement of generative artificial intelligence technology, there is growing interest in how to utilize it in practical applications. Additionally, the importance of prompt engineering to generate results that meet user demands is being newly highlighted. Exploring the new possibilities of generative AI can hold significant value. This study aims to utilize ChatGPT 4.0, a leading generative AI, to propose an effective method for evaluating user experience through the analysis of online customer review data. The user experience evaluation method was based on the six-layer elements of user experience: 'functionality', 'reliability', 'usability', 'convenience', 'emotion', and 'significance'. For this study, a literature review was conducted to enhance the understanding of prompt engineering and to grasp the clear concept of the user experience hierarchy. Based on this, prompts were crafted, and experiments for the user experience evaluation method were carried out using the analysis of collected online customer review data. In this study, we reveal that when provided with accurate definitions and descriptions of the classification processes for user experience factors, ChatGPT demonstrated excellent performance in evaluating user experience. However, it was also found that due to time constraints, there were limitations in analyzing large volumes of data. By introducing and proposing a method to utilize ChatGPT 4.0 for user experience evaluation, we expect to contribute to the advancement of the UX field.

  • With the fierce competition of companies for the attraction of outstanding individuals, job satisfaction of employees has been of importance. In this circumstance, many companies try to invest in job satisfaction improvement by finding employees' everyday experiences and difficulties. However, due to a lack of understanding of the employee experience, their investments are not paying off. This study examined the relationship between employee experience and job satisfaction using employee reviews and company ratings from Glassdoor, one of the largest employee communities worldwide. We use text mining techniques such as K-means clustering and LDA topic-based sentiment analysis to extract key experience factors by job level, and DistilBERT sentiment analysis to measure the sentiment score of each employee experience factor. The drawn employee experience factors and each sentiment score were analyzed quantitatively, and thereby relations between each employee experience factor and job satisfaction were analyzed. As a result, this study found that there is a significant difference between the workplace experiences of managers and general employees. In addition, employee experiences that affect job satisfaction also differed between positions, such as customer relationship and autonomy, which did not affect the satisfaction of managers. This study used text mining and quantitative modeling method based on theory of work adjustment so as to find and verify main factors of employee experience, and thus expanded research literature. In addition, the results of this study are applicable to the personnel management strategy for improving employees' job satisfaction, and are expected to improve corporate productivity ultimately.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate service factors and relationships affecting customer satisfaction by measuring indexes of the entire set of high-speed railway station facilities and train services. In this study, we collected data from 202 KTX passengers and analyzed the data using the structural equation model (SEM) method. Through exploratory factor analysis (EFA), we found five major service factors, including parking related service (PRS), station convenient facilities related service (SCS), ticketing services (TIS), service within the train (SWT), and inner environments (INE). As result of a hypothesis test, it was found that PRS does not influence SWT, whereas SCS and TIS positively affect train related service. Also, SWT and INE significantly affect the overall service satisfaction of customers. Thus, our findings provide that station facilities and train service experience are important factors that can enhance customer satisfaction.
