Existing knowledge regarding the antecedents of the entrepreneurial orientation (EO) of firms is somewhat limited given the emphasis on its performance implications. To address this research gap, this study aims to explore the drivers of entrepreneurial orientation using the resource-based view (RBV) and contingency perspective. To test our hypotheses, this study uses 225 survey data collected from Korean exporters. Results show that the level of entrepreneurial orientation varies depending on organizational characteristics such as firm size and internationalization of the firm. Our findings also support the tenet of the contingency perspective by showing the influences of environmental characteristics such as technological turbulence and market uncertainty on the entrepreneurial orientation of firms. Our empirical research provides academic and practical implications for the field of entrepreneurship.
Uncertainty of career environment driven by globalization and shift of employment context drives heavy competition of labor market and anxiety of employment for individuals. New career paradigm based on this environmental change puts emphasis on subjective career success from individual's viewpoint as important career outcome and individual's proactive career development efforts. In addition to this, importance of person-environment fit and person-job fit is growing in relationship between career planning and career success. Based on this perspective, this study aims to identify whether person-environment fit and person-job fit mediate the relationship between career development and subjective career success. Data analysis of questionnaire from 220 employees showed that both fits mediate the relationship. This result implies that individual's proactive career planning is critical to career success and this strengthens one's satisfaction to organization and job. To organization, strategies need to be developed to design career development of employees' based on their career needs and organizational intervention such as job-rotation system.

The amount of data created in the present intelligence information society is beyond imagination. Big data has a great diversity from every information via SNS and internet to the one created by government and enterprises. This various data is close at hand having infinite value as same as crude oil. Big data analysis and utilization by data mining over every areas in the modern industrial society is getting more important for finding useful correlation and strengthening forecasting power against the future uncertainty. Efficient management and utilization of big data produced by complex modern society will be researched in this paper. Also it addresses strategies and methods for securing overall industrial competitiveness, synergy creation among industries, cost reduction and effective application based on big data in the $4^{th}$ industrial revolution era.
Based on the survey data, this study focused venture firms examines how organizational resources and capabilities along with its external environmental conditions have an effect on its strategy and performance. In particular, this article attempts, by performing a binary logistic regression analysis, to identify the venture-specific importance and priority of the factors that may influence firms' strategy patterns, with multiple regression analysis on the relationships between some variables included in the model. The survey was conducted from October 1, 2010 through October 30, 2010. The results of this study are the following. First, the more firms are exposed to high industry growth and low competitive intensity, the higher chance they get to pursuit aggressive strategy. And then a firm seeks aggressive strategy, when it has more technological resources and human resources. Third, environmental uncertainty, industry growth, technological resources, human resources, financial resources and marketing capabilities have positive effects on firm's performance. But, competitive intensity has no direct influence firm's performance. Finally, CEO competence directly influences firm's performance, but the interaction. of CEO competence with other variables is not significant.
Technology cooperation is a necessary factor for small and medium sized firms to be survived and developed because small and medium sized firms can make economy scale and economy scope by new advanced technologies obtained from technology cooperation. Therefore, the technology cooperation of small and medium sized firms can be thought as their specific resource. Due to the importance of technology cooperation, many previous studies paid an attention on its positive effect. Unlike the related studies, this study examined the link among uncertainty of technology environment, relationship characteristics(such as degree of technology cooperation and influential strategy), and relationship tie. The empirical results are reported as follows: Firstly, uncertainty of technology environment positively affected on degree of technology cooperation. Secondly, degree of technology cooperation positively affected on uncoercive influential strategies of both own firm and partner firm. Thirdly, degree of technology cooperation and uncoercive influential strategy of own firm have positive effects on relationship tie while uncoercive influential strategy of partner firm does not. The positive effect of uncoercive influential strategy of own firm means the importance of strategic countermeasures to promote relationship tie in technology cooperation of both own firm and partner firm.
The recent global economic crisis and intensifying competition among Northeast Asian neighbors, China and Japan are changing in the foreign policy coarse of growth uncertainty, the domestic enterprise's growth power is faced serious limitations, Therefore, it's increasing that making new growth engines for the creative economy in order to achieve sustainable growth and continue to lead the Global Trade and human resources development and training needs for social entrepreneurship through the creation usually related to human resources. Research interest in TQM has recently begun extending beyond manufacturing to moreinnovative R&D activities. Despite numerous studies of the relationship between TQM and organizational performance, little are known about the relationship between TQM and R&D performance. This is especially true for manufacturing-based R&D performance. The objective of this study is to examine the relationship between TQM and R&D, and also explore several contingencies that moderate the relationship. The study uses data from 133 R&D divisions of Korean manufacturing firms to test hypotheses regarding the relation of TQM with R&D. TQM measures are aligned with the six criteria of Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award, and the R&D performance measures consist of incremental and innovative R&D aspects. The findings from structural equation modeling show that TQM practices contribute to R&D performance significantly in aggregate, and their specific contributions vary according to the contingencies, which provide further understanding of the relationship between TQM and R&D in the manufacturing sector. Therefore, the results could offer firms a better strategy for their R&D management. This study is, however, exploratory in nature; the conclusion is tentative and may thus be different in other research settings.

Innovation, especially business process innovation, has evolved into a core focus area for all successful organizations. To ensure long-tenn survival, an enterprise must place innovation at the top of daily business operations to drive desired revenue stability and growth. Business Process Innovation is a key success factor for the next generation enterprise. Companies need to nurture an environment that encourages and enables process innovation. Business Process Management (BPM) must become the focal point of innovation initiatives. But the most BPM solutions are for large company. The cost is too high to build for small and medium sized company. We need the light and easy BPM solution for small and medium sized company. In this paper, we introduce the SESS which is BPM solution for small and medium sized company.
Today, changes in the environments surrounding companies are so uncertain that corporate entrepreneurship should be activated to enhance the competitiveness of firms and to improve their profitability. In particular, The practice of entrepreneurship by small and medium sized enterprises (hereafter SMEs) is suggested as an important factor for the enhancement of competitiveness of firms. In this context, this study examined the effects of the organizational climates on the entrepreneurship activities of SMEs in Korea and China. The data obtained from 300 SMEs in Korea and China through questionnaire surveys were analyzed. The results demonstrate that the organizational climates have significant positive effects on SMEs in the countries belonging to emerging markets such as Korea and China. However, the practice of corporate entrepreneurship could be manifested in diverse forms, such as innovation or strategic renewal, and the effects of organizational climates were shown to sightly different effects on the corporate entrepreneurship activities. In addition, SMEs in Korea and China, which belong to common cultural areas, did not show any statistically significant difference in organizational climates in general. Furthermore, the effects of these factors did not show significant differences in general. However, SMEs in Korea with more flexible organizational structures and higher job autonomy were shown to be more advantageous in practicing corporate entrepreneurship than those in China. The results of the study provide meaningful implications for SMEs in Korea in terms of the efforts that should be made to enhance their competitiveness, implement innovation, and achieve comparative advantages over China.
With the rapid development of information and communication technologies, the boundaries of markets become blurred, and with the increasing uncertainties and risks of the future, competition among global companies becomes more intense. Accordingly the enterprises are considering or already taking cooperation strategies with enterprises in a competitive relationship as well as cooperative enterprises in a high correlation with one's own company as a plan to actively cope with changes in management environments. Thus, a cooperation strategy is an important element for the strengthening of the competitiveness of enterprises as well as the survival of the enterprises. However most preceding studies on cooperation strategies focus only on the effects of the properties of cooperation enterprises on the selection of cooperation partner enterprises and the business performance of the enterprises. Therefore, this study carried out an empirical analysis of the motivation and purpose of the construction of cooperation strategies by enterprise and what differences there are in factors to which importance is attached in selecting partners. In addition, this study analyzed the differences depending on the size: large and small enterprises and depending on the industry: electronics and chemical industries during AHP using a pairwise comparison technique.
