An Empirical Study on the Differences of the Management Resources and Economic Performance among Industries (업종별 경영자원과 경영성과 차이에 관한 실증적 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to find a cause of economic performance differences among industries. For this purpose, several hypothesis are established and tested (1) Whether the firm's capability and performance are different among industries\ulcorner (2) Whether the firm's management resources affects the performance are different among industries\ulcorner (3) Whether the firm's performances are different between high performance group and low performance group in same industry\ulcorner The results of this study are (1) the level of firm's capability and performance are different and (2) the management resources which affect the performance are different according the industry. And (3) the management resources are different according to the firm's performance level in same industry.

  • Purpose: We divide management characteristics into business strategy, operation management, information management, marketing, asset management. Also this will show effect on business performance according to management characteristics. Methods: For two months, from August to October, a manager (include an executive) participated in individual questionnaires. And the SPSS v14.0 was applied to analyze data of this study. Results: This study has shown that the management characteristics have an effect on the finance and satisfaction performance. In particular, the 'business strategy' and 'marketing' of management characteristics were important factors that affects finance performance and the 'business strategy', 'marketing' and 'operation management' were important factors that affects satisfaction performance. Conclusions: Consequently through this result, we should make an efforts to 'business strategy' and 'marketing' of management characteristics.

경영 모의 게임의 교육 효과에 영향을 주는 성공 요인에 관한 실증적 연구

  • IT기술의 발달은 사회 구성원들에게 기존의 방법과 다른 새로운 교육방법을 요구하고 있으며, 체험교육과 경험교육이 강조됨에 따라 웹 기반의 가상환경에서 체험교육을 할 수 있는 경영 모의 게임에 대한 중요성이 커지고 있다. 그러나 이러한 경영 모의 게임의 이점에도 불구하고 국내에서는 경영모의 게임의 활용도가 매우 낮은 편이며, 그 교육효과에 대한 실증적 분석도 미미하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 경영 모의 게임의 교육효과에 영향을 주는 성공요인에 관해 실증적 분석을 수행 하였다. 분석을 위해 경영 모의 게임에 참가한 교육생을 대상으로 컨텐츠 특성, 참가자 특성, 교육환경 특성이 교육효과에 영향을 미치는가에 대한 통계분석을 수행 하였다. 통계 분석 결과, 컨텐츠 특성, 참가자 특성, 교육환경 특성은 게임의 교육효과에 영향을 미친다는 유효한 결과가 분석되었다. 통계적 분석 결과 도출한 성공 요인을 기초로 활용방안을 제시하였다.

  • 본 연구는 소상공인 외식업 창업가 특성이 경영성과에 미치는 영향을 연구하였다. 경영성과 요인은 창업가 특성, 경영관리, 입지특성 요인으로 분류하여 소상공인 외식업 경영인들을 대상으로 설문조사하였다. 분석 결과 첫째, 외식업의 창업가 특성의 성취욕구와 자아의식 욕구는 경영성과에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 외식업 경영자의 성취욕구, 자아의식 욕구가 높으면 성과에 긍정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 보인다. 둘째, 외식업의 경영관리 특성에서 고객관리와 음식관리는 경영성과에 유의하였다. 적극적인 경영관리를 위한 노력과 음식품질 관리는 성과에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 볼 수 있다.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of common competency, managerial competency, and job competency, which are perceived management consultants' competencies, on organizational performance and management characteristics of these managers. The hypothesis 2 shows that the influence of the management consultant capacity and the management performance on the Hypothesis 1 and the moderating effect of the hypothesis 2 management characteristics are as follows. First, common competence, management competence, and job competence, which are H1 management consultant capacities, have been shown to have a positive (+) influence on financial performance and non - financial performance. Second, the characteristics of manager in H2 were partially shown by the common competence between management consultant capacity and management performance. Therefore, in order to establish a corporate sustainability management system and implement it strategically, a consulting firm should select a consultant with excellent management consultant capability and execute management consulting. In addition, management consultants were required to have diverse learning, experience and management plans to improve their qualitative performance. Despite the fact that managerial characteristics represent partial regulatory roles, they actively play a central role in the survival and development of corporations, requiring active publicity so that the organizational characteristics of managers can be understood.

  • 본 연구는 농협을 대상으로 정보시스템 사용자의 저항요인을 감소시키고 사용자의 만족을 제고시킬 수 있는 효율적인 운영방안을 모색하기 위하여 정보기술 특성 및 경영지원 특성이 사용자들의 저항에 미치는 영향관계를 알아보았으며, 그 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 정보기술특성과 사용자 저항변수간의 분석결과에 의하면, 정보기술의 유용성과 용이성은 사용자저항과 부(-)의 관계가 발견되어 정보기술의 유용성과 용이성이 높을수록 사용자 저항은 감소한다고 할 수 있다. 따라서 정보기술의 유용성, 용이성은 사용자 저항에 중요한 영향을 미치는 변수임을 확인하였다. 둘째, 경영지원변수 중 경영자지원과 사용자 저항 간 분석결과에 의하면, 전혀 유의한 관계가 발견되지 않았다. 따라서 정보기술특성요인이 경영지원 특성요인보다 중요한 영향을 미치는 변수임 을 확인하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 농협이 CRM 시스템을 효율적으로 구축하고 운영하는데 있어 필요한 정보기술시스템의 특성에 관한 정보를 제공하였다는데 그 의의가 있다. 하지만 본 연구는 사용자 저항의 원인변수 중 정보기술특성 및 경영지원특성에 관한 변수만을 사용하였다는 한계점을 갖고 있다. 따라서 향후에는 보다 다양한 사용자 저항 영향요인들을 고려한 연구가 진행되어야 한다고 본다.

  • 모바일 결제시스템의 다양한 특성에 힘입어 많은 사용자는 언제 어디서나 시간과 장소의 제약에서 벗어나 다양한 제품을 손쉽게 구매할 수 있게 되었다. 이러한 측면에서 본 연구는 모바일 결제시스템 사용자들의 특성(인구통계적 특성, 모바일 결제시스템 이용특성)에 따라 모바일 결제시스템이 갖추어야 하는 특성(보안성, 호환성, 효율성, 경제성, 신뢰성)에 대한 인식도가 어떻게 달라지는가를 실증적으로 규명하고자 하였다. 한국과 중국의 모바일 결제시스템 사용자들을 대상으로 설문지를 활용한 실증분석을 실시한 결과, 사용자들의 성별과 국적에 따라 모바일 결제시스템의 일부 특성에 대한 인식도에 있어서 차이가 존재하고 있음을 확인하였다.

The Effect of Characteristics of Venture Business Founders and Management Strategy on Business Performance (벤처기업 창업가의 특성과 경영전략이 경영성과에 미치는 영향)

  • This paper empirically analyzed the relationship between the characteristics of venture business founders and management performance, setting the management strategy as a parameter to provide a suggestion for the survival and development of venture companies that play an important role in the national economy and job creation. Previous studies in Korea have analyzed the relationship between the characteristics of business founders, management strategies and management performance in a single dimension. This paper, however, explained the business performance of a company from a multi-dimensional perspective while setting the characteristics of business founders as independent variables and setting the business strategy of the enterprise as a parameter. The first result of the analysis shows that the characteristics of venture business founders have a positive effect on business performance. In particular, among the characteristics of venture business founders, a progressive spirit has had the greatest impact on business performance. On the other hand, the influence of risk sensitivity was very weak. Second, the characteristics of venture business founders were found to have a positive effect on business strategy. In particular, innovation was an important variable that affected the technological innovation differentiation strategy, and a progressive spirit was the most influential factor in the marketing differentiation strategy. Third, management strategies of venture firms were found to have a positive effect on business performance. In particular, the technology innovation differentiation strategy has a greater impact on business performance than the marketing differentiation strategy. Fourth, it was revealed that management strategy partially has a mediated effect on the relationship between the characteristics of venture business founders and management performance. In other words, it was found that the characteristics of the founders have a direct impact on business performance but if it is linked to management strategy it has an indirect effect on business performance. The results of this study show that business performance improves when venture business founders' personal characteristics and the firms' management strategy are combined.

Determining Factors on Small Food Service Business Performance (소상공인 외식서비스업체의 경영성과 요인에 관한 연구)

  • This study aims to examine factors affecting small food service business performance, which is assumed to be dependent primarily on its outskirt's residents. In contrast to the prior research, this paper measures saveral location traits as a separate service business success factor without including the factor in management factors. The empirical results show that small food service's sales can be determined significantly by business career in entrepreneurs' background features. Secondly, its sales can't be influenced by any psychlogical factors such as a desire of achievement, a propensity of risk taking and locus of control. It is assumed that questions about psychological traits based by the prior research do not suit for small food entrepreneur. Thirdly, qualified product have a significant effect on its sales. Finally, its sales can be significantly impacted by the number of customer chair.

A Study on the Effects of Characteristics of Female Corporate Founders on Managerial Achievements (창업 여성CEO의 특성이 경영성과에 미치는 영향 연구)

  • Although it is a limited and exploratory study, it is focused on figuring out correlations between characteristics of female CEOs who founded a company and their managerial achievements. Toward this end, the study is focused on generating such determinants as background characteristics, behavioral features and competence traits that characterize female CEOs based on previous studies and existing literature while suggesting study models and assumptions on correlations between these factors and managerial achievements and conducting empirical analyses. Results of the empirical analyses are as follows. First, regression analyses that verified relationships between background characteristics of female corporate founders and managerial achievements have found that major subjects had a significant effect, but that their experiences in corporate foundation and careers did not. Second, regression analyses that verified behavioral characteristics of female corporate CEOs and their managerial achievements have found that credibility and the motive for corporation foundation had a significant impact, but that efforts to counter risks factors did not. Third, regression analyses that verified relationships between competence features of female corporate CEOs and managerial achievements have found that managerial control capability had a significant impact, but that entrepreneurial capability and technical capability.
