Integer Programming Model to the Travelling Salesman Problems with Route Dependent Travel Cost (경로의존 이동 비용을 갖는 외판원 문제의 정수계획 모형)

  • In this study, we propose a solution procedure to solve travelling salesman problem(TSP) with special cost function, route dependent travelling salesman problem(RDTSP). First, we develop an integer programming model to describe the problem. In the model, a variable means a possible route. And, the number of variables in this model are extremely large. So, we develop a LP relaxation problem of the IP model and solve the relaxation problem by a column generation technique. The relaxation problem does not guarantee the optimal solution. If we get an integer solution in the ralaxation problem, then the solution is an optimal one. But, if not, we cannot get an optimal solution. So, we approach a branch and price technique. The overall solution procedure can be applied a printed circuit board(PCB) assembly process.

Gifted College Students' Rational Decision Making and Intrinsic Motivation in Relation to Their Major Conviction: Mediating Effect of Career Decision Efficacy (대학생 과학영재의 합리적 의사결정, 내재적 동기와 전공선택 확신의 관계에서 진로결정 효능감의 매개효과)

  • The purpose of this study is to explore related variables to influence gifted college students' career conviction and to propose a structural model. For the study, 292 college students who have experienced university affiliated gifted education program during their school days. Rational decision making test, intrinsic motivation test, career decision efficacy test, and major conviction test were utilized. SPSS program and AMOS were used for statistical analyses. The results are summarized as follows. The fit of measurement model was found to be TLI=.923, CFI=.951, RMSEA=.077, indicating most of the fit indexes were acceptable. The path to career conviction from rational decision making and intrinsic motivation was found to be insignificant, suggesting a revised model. The fit of final revised measurement model was found to be TLI =.926, CFI=.951, RMSEA=.075, indicating the model was acceptable. Interestingly, the career decision efficacy was found to be the complete mediator among the rational decision making, intrinsic motivation, and career conviction. The results of the study showed that career decision efficacy has a very important role in gifted college students'career choice and decision. Implication of the study related to the career education and counseling has been discussed in depth.

  • In this paper, we analyze the impact on quitting one's first job based on "Graduates Occupational Mobility Survey" data given by Korea Employment Information Service. According to the survey, there are a large number of questionnaires on quitting one's first job and so it is not easy to choose among them. We will investigate model selection criteria and apply the procedure proposed by Shtatland et al. (2003) to identify the final model.

  • 기존에 건설된 교통시설의 운영효율을 극대화하기 위한 지능형 교통체계의 한 분야인 ATIS는 도로를 이용하는 통행자에게 편리성을 제공하는 동시에 도로를 효율적으로 운영할 수 있는 정보체계이다. ATIS 체계하에서 통행자에게 신뢰성 있는 정보를 제공하기 위해서는 교차로서의 회전에 의한 지체를 정확하게 반영함은 물론이고 실시간으로 변화하는 교통상황을 반영할 수 있는 동적인 최단경로 탐색 알고리즘이 요구된다. 하지만 기존에 발표된 동적인 최단경로 탐색 알고리즘은 회전에 대한 정보를 반영하지 못하며 정적인 최단경로 탐색 알고리즘은 회전에 대한 정보를 반영하지 못하며 정적인 탐색알고리즘 조차 회전에 대한 정보를 정확히 반영하지 못한다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 이유에서 알고리즘 내부에서 회전을 반영하기 위해 수정형 덩굴망 알고리즘의 표지기법을 이용하여 동적인 최단경로 탐색알고리즘을 개발하였다. 본 연구에서 개발한 동적 최단경로 탐색 알고리즘은 정적인 상태의 수정형 덩굴망 알고리즘에 시간에 따라 변화하는 교통상황을 반영하기 위해 시간에 대한 변수를 추가하였다. 이렇게 해서 알고리즘은 시간대별로 변화하는 통행시간을 고려하여 최단 경로를 탐색하게 되며 출발시점을 기준으로 표지를 설정하여 모든 앞선 시간에 대해 경로를 고려하도록 하였다. 매 단계에서 전 노드를 추적하여 회전에 관한 정보를 반영하도록 하였다. 따라서 본 연구에서 개발한 최단경로 탐색 알고리즘은 교차로에서의 회전에 대한 정보와 통행금지 등을 정확히 반영하며 실시간으로 변화하는 통행시간을 반영함으로써 신뢰성 있는 노선 정보를 ATIS를 이용하는 통행자들에게 제공하는데 활용될 수 있는 기법이다.적으로 세부적 차종분류로 접근한다.의 영향들을 고려함으로써 가로망 설계 과정에서 가로망의 상반된 역할인 이동성과 접근성의 비교가 가능한 보다 현실적인 가로망 설계 모형을 구축하고자 한다. 지금까지 소개된 가로망 설계모형들은 용량변화에 대한 설계변수의 형태에 따라 이산적 가로망 설계 모형과 연속적 가로망 설계모형으로 나뉘어지게 된다. 본 논문의 경우, 계산속도의 향상 측면에서는 연속적 가로망 설계 모형을 도입할 수 있지만, 이때 요구되는 도로용량이 이산적인 변수(차선 수)로 결정되어야만 신호제어 변수를 결정할 수 있기 때문에, 이산적 가로망 설계 모형이 사용된다. 하지만, 이산적 설계모형의 경우 조합최적화 문제이므로 정확한 최적해를 구하기 위해서는 상당한 시간이 소요되며, 경우에 따라서는 국부 최적해에 빠지게 된다. 이러한 문제를 극복하기 위해, 우선 이상적 모형의 근사화, 혹은 조합최적화문제를 위해 개발된 Simulated Annealing기법의 적용, 연속적 모형의 변수를 이산화하는 방법 등 다양한 모형들을 고려해 본 뒤, 적절한 모형을 적용할 것이다. 가로망 설계 모형에서 신호제어를 고려하기 위해서는 주어진 가로망에 대한 통행 배정과정에서 고려되는 통행시간을 링크통행시간과 교차로 지체시간을 동시에 고려해야 하는데, 이러한 문제의 해결을 위해서 최근 활발히 논의되고 있는 교차로에서의 신호제어에 대응하는 통행배정 모형을 도입하여 고려하고자 한다. 이를 위해서 지금까지 연구되어온 Global Solution Approach와 Iterative Approach를 비교, 검토한 뒤 모형에 보다 알맞은 방법을 선택한다. 차량의 교차로 통행을 고려하는 perf

  • The characteristics of intercity rail network are different from those of public transit network in urban area. In this paper, we proposed a new transit assignment model which is generalized form of deterministic assignment model by introducing line selection probability on route section. This model consider various characteristics of intercity rail and simplify network expansion for appling search algorithms developed in road assignment model. We showed the model availability by comparing with existing models using virtual networks. The tests on a small scale network show that this model is superior to existing models for predicting intercity rail demand.

A Travel Time Prediction Model under Incidents (돌발상황하의 교통망 통행시간 예측모형)

  • Traditionally, a dynamic network model is considered as a tool for solving real-time traffic problems. One of useful and practical ways of using such models is to use it to produce and disseminate forecast travel time information so that the travelers can switch their routes from congested to less-congested or uncongested, which can enhance the performance of the network. This approach seems to be promising when the traffic congestion is severe, especially when sudden incidents happen. A consideration that should be given in implementing this method is that travel time information may affect the future traffic condition itself, creating undesirable side effects such as the over-reaction problem. Furthermore incorrect forecast travel time can make the information unreliable. In this paper, a network-wide travel time prediction model under incidents is developed. The model assumes that all drivers have access to detailed traffic information through personalized in-vehicle devices such as car navigation systems. Drivers are assumed to make their own travel choice based on the travel time information provided. A route-based stochastic variational inequality is formulated, which is used as a basic model for the travel time prediction. A diversion function is introduced to account for the motorists' willingness to divert. An inverse function of the diversion curve is derived to develop a variational inequality formulation for the travel time prediction model. Computational results illustrate the characteristics of the proposed model.

  • This paper presents a variational equality formulation by Providing new dynamic route choice condition for a link-based dynamic traffic assignment model. The concepts of used paths, used links, used departure times are employed to derive a new link-based dynamic route choice condition. The route choice condition is formulated as a time-dependent variational equality problem and necessity and sufficiency conditions are provided to prove equivalence of the variational equality model. A solution algorithm is proposed based on physical network approach and diagonalization technique. An asymmetric network computational study shows that ideal dynamic-user optimal route condition is satisfied when the length of each time interval is shortened. The I-394 corridor study shows that more than 93% of computational speed improved compared to conventional variational inequality approach, and furthermore as the larger network size, the more computational performance can be expected. This paper concludes that the variational equality could be a promising approach for real-time application of a dynamic traffic assignment model based on fast computational performance.

  • Real-time traveler information disseminated through Variable Message Signs (VMS) is known to have effects on driver route choice decisions. In the past, many studies have attempted to optimize the system performance using VMS message content as the primary control variable of driver route choice. This research proposes a VMS information provision optimization model which searches the best combination of VMS message contents and display sequence to minimize the total travel time on a highway network considered. The driver route choice models under VMS information provision are developed using a stated preference (SP) survey data in order to realistically capture driver response behavior. The genetic algorithm (GA) is used to find the optimal VMS information provision strategies which consists of the VMS message contents and the sequence of message display. In the process of the GA module, the system performance is measured using micro traffic simulation. The experiment results highlight the capability of the proposed model to search the optimal solution in an efficient way. The results show that the traveler information conveyed via VMS can reduce the total travel time on a highway network. They also suggest that as the frequency of VMS message update gets shorter, a smaller number of VMS message contents performs better to reduce the total travel time, all other things being equal.

  • This study is to search an optimal model on causal relationships of the motivations to learn and motivation strategy in chemistry education. The participants in this study are consisted of G and I high schools students (487) in Gwangju. They all answered to the questionnaire. Model I is hypothesized to be path model of the mediation between 'self-efficacy, achievement need, and entity theory of intelligence' and 'learning strategy and self-handicapping tendency of motivation strategy' by goal orientation to explore variables of study effecting the motivation strategy. And Model II is hypothesized path model of the mediation between goal orientation and 'learning strategy and self-handicapping tendency' by 'self-efficacy, achievement need, and entity theory' to explore variables of study effecting the motivation strategy. Based on these models, structural equation modeling techniques are used to evaluate for the path model among goal orientation(learning, performance approach, and performance approach goal orientation), self-efficacy, achievement need, entity theory of intelligence, self-handicapping tendency, and learning strategy in chemistry education. As the results, Model II is considered. Goodness-of-fit indexes of this model related modification models are identified and analyzed in phases.   • Debate on basic income expanded worldwide as well as in South Korea. However, the expansion of these discussion has led to vigorous arguments for and against the various claims of basic income. In order to introduce basic income in Korea, discussing on the picture of Korean welfare state which includes basic income is important. In this study, 'Ideal Model of Korean Basic Income (and Welfare State)'is discussed and theoretically constructed using fuzzy-set ideal type approach, and feasible paths in realizing Korean basic income are suggested. This study attempts to contribute to a practical discussion on taking feasible and reasonable path to realize full basic income in Korean welfare state.
