  • The existing structural lightweight concrete is almost manufactured by using lightweight aggregate. But most of a lightweight aggregate depends on income, it is wholly lacking domestic utilizer. So in this study we investigate the developmental possibility of structural lightweight concrete using only the aggregate of the general concrete and foam agent. As the result of experiments this paper confirmed the possibility of development of structural lightweight concrete which shows compressive strength 210kgf/$cm^{2}$ and specific gravity 1.8 t/$m^{3}$ using only foam agent

Properties of Lightweight Foamed Concrete with Incorporating Ratio of Cement Kiln Dust (CKD 치환율 변화에 따른 경량기포 콘크리트의 특성)

  • This study investigates the properties of light weight foamed concrete with variances in incorporating ratio of cement kiln dust(CKD). Test showed that an increase of CKD incorporating ratio decreased the fluidity of fresh concrete and increased the unit weight. A sinking depth of specimens incorporating CKD decreased, compared with that of control. As for the compressive strength, it firstly increased and then slightly decreased when incorporated CKD. Tensile strength values were similar to the values of compressive strength, but the ratio of comp. to tens. strength increased. Appearances density of specimens were all raged in KS and the thermal conductivity was also satisfied in KS; less than 0.05-0.160W/($m{\cdot}k$).

Properties of Lightweight Foamed Concrete with Variances in Adding Ratio of Stability Agent (증점 안정화제의 혼입율 변화에 따른 경량기포 콘크리트의 특성)

  • This paper investigates the properties of light weight foamed concrete with variances in adding ratio of stability agent(PS). Test showed that an increase of PS adding ratio decreased fluidity due to higher viscosity and increased unit weight of specimens. A sinking depth declined as the adding ratio of PS inclines, but all specimens including control concrete was ranging in KS; 0.5 to 10mm. Compressive strength value of specimens increased as PS adding ratio inclines. As for the tensile strength, any significant feature was not observed, compared with control concrete, but the ratios of camp. to tens. increased. Appearance density of concrete increased, and thermal conductivity was satisfied in KS, except for a specimen adding 0.07 percent of PS.

  • This paper investigates the fundamental properties of light weight foamed concrete with the variances in unit weight of concrete and adding ratio of stability agent(SA). Test showed that concrete adding SA slightly decreased fluidity but secured stable flow appearances without segregation of concrete components. All specimens in a standard condition represented that a sinking depth was not observed, while, in the wet condition, a specimen adding SA decreased the sinking depth $2{\sim}4mm$ more than control concrete. Compressive strength values of control concrete showed $0.03{\sim}0.3MPa$ higher than the concrete adding SA. As for the tensile strength, the specimen adding SA also had lower value, while the ratios of comp. to tens. strength presented $0.43{\sim}0.62$, which is relatively higher than ordinary concrete.

  • As structure-borne sound, the floor impact sound is one of the serious noises in residential building. Most of heating system applied to the typical Korean residential building is floor heating system which is called ondol. The ondol usually consists of finishing material, mortar with heating coil, light-weight aerated concrete and reinforced concrete. This study focused on the isolation of heavy-weight impact sound and modification of mortar and light-weight aerated concrete. Specifically the glass foam aggregate was added on light-weight aerated concrete. Also, water-cement ratio and amount of cement on mortar were revised. The sound pressure level of heavy-weight impact was measured in reverberation chamber using both bang-machine and impact ball. The size of specimen was 1 m by 1 m. Substitution ratio of glass foam aggregate on light-weight aerated concrete shows relationship with heavy-weight impact sound pressure level. In addition, heavy-weight impact sound pressure level was decreased with increment of water-cement ratio and amount of cement on mortar.

A Fundamental Study on the Quality Improvement of Lightweight Foamed Concrete with Admixture Types (혼화재료에 의한 경량기포 콘크리트의 품질향상에 관한 기초적 연구)

  • This study investigated fundamental properties of lightweight foamed concrete using cement kiln dust (CKD) and both fly ash(FA) and stability agent. Test results showed that concrete incorporating more amounts of admixture decreased slump flow and it caused increase of superplasiticizer in order to secure the fluidity performance. In addition concrete adding stability agent showed stable flow state, resisting segregation of materials and decreasing bleeding capacity. Sinking depth of concrete incorporating 20% of CKD and adding 0.002% of stability agent was indicated at 0mm. For the properties of hardened concrete. compressive strength of concrete incorporating CKD declined due to a lower appearance density, compared with other specimens. The difference of that was not very significant and the value of ail specimen was higher than KS range. Moreover strength of concrete incorporating CKD was even higher at curing temperature $5^{\circ}C$. Tensile strength ratio of concrete incorporating CKD was indicated between 0.50 to 0.59, which is higher value than control concrete. Heat conductivity of concrete incorporating FA was under the KS range while concrete incorporating 20% of CKD was satisfied in KS. Concrete adding stability agent improved insulation performance due to the lower heat conductivity. In conclusion, it is possible that concrete incorporating 20% of CKD and adding 0.002% of stability agent can secure high quality of lightweight foamed concrete.

  • 인정바닥구조는 신청에서부터 인정서 발급까지 기본적으로 2개월 이상이 소요되며, 신청 제품이 많을수록 그 기간은 길어지게 된다. 본 논문은 이와 같은 완충재의 성능을 확인하기 위해 소요되는 기간과 비용을 획기적으로 단축할 수 있는 간편한 방법을 제시하기 위한 것이다. 완충재 설치 이후 습식으로 시공되는 경량기포콘크리트와 모르터를 사전에 일정 크기로 제작(축소모형 시험판)한 후 골조가 완성된 현장에서 바닥충격음을 측정하는 방법이다. 완충재 2개 제품에 대하여 축소모형 시험판을 이용하여 측정한 결과와 전체 세대를 시공한 후 측정한 결과를 비교한 결과 경량충격음은 축소모형 시험판이 훨씬 낮은 결과를 나타냈지만 중량충격음은 비슷한 결과를 나타냈다. 이로써 축소모형 시험판을 이용하여 바닥충격음을 측정하는 것은 경량충격음을 저감하기 위한 재료 선정 및 제품 시스템 구성 등에 활용될 수 있을 것이며, 현장에서 중량충격음 차단성능을 신속하게 검증할 수 있는 방법으로 활용할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

건축물 에너지절약 설계기준 개정에 따른 온돌시스템 기술개발 방향

  • 건축물의 에너지 이용을 효율화하기 위하여 단열기준 등을 기존보다 20% 이상 강화하는 것을 골자로 하는 건축물의 에너지절약 설계기준(건설교통부 고시 제2001-118호)이 지난해 6월 1일부터 시행되고 있다. 개정 기준의 가장 큰 특징은 단열기준의 적용 부위를 외기에 직접 면한 부위와 간접 면한 부위로 구분하고, 지역을 중부와 남부, 제주도로 구분$\cdot$설정하여 부하조건과 에너지 소비특성에 따라 건축물의 단열기준을 세분화한 것이다. 특히, 종래에는 최하층 바닥에만 적용하였던 거실 바닥(온돌)의 단열기준을 중간층까지 확대$\cdot$적용하였고, 여기에 온돌시스템의 열적 특성을 고려하여 단열기준의 적용 부위를 보다 구체적으로 설정하고 있다. 따라서 종래의 온돌시스템에서 채움층으로 일반적으로 사용하고 있는 현장 타설식 경량기포콘크리트의 열전도율이 0.13W/mK 내외임을 고려한다면 현행 습식온돌시스템의 열관류율은 $1.0W/m^{2}K$ 이상이 될 것으로 예상됨으로서 앞으로 온돌시스템의 배관층 하부에 $1.0m^{2}K/W$ 이상의 열전도저항을 지닌 단열층이 구성되어야만 개정기준에서 정하는 열관류율 $0.81W/m^{2}K$(기준층 기준)의 성능과 배관하부의 열전도저항값 적용비율을 만족할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

Removing of Phosphate, Nitrogen and Anion surfactants in the Wastewater using ALC (경량기포콘크리트를 이용한 인과 질소 및 음이온계면활성제 제거)

  • This research was carried out investigate the removed T-P, T-N and anion surfactants using Autoclaved Lightweight Concrete(ALC) in wastewater treatment system. Effects of pH, TDS on aqueous solution was measured. Specific area which measured by BET was $27.66m^2/g$. The phosphorous, nitrogen and anion surfactants removal efficiencies were examined by using artificial waste water(T-P : 66~73mg/L, T-N : 56~136mg/L and anion surfactants : 10~31mg/L). The results showed that the ALC was effective material as a adsorbent due to the structure and porosity. It was found that anion surfactants removed was 85~95%, phosphate removed was 92% and nitrogen removed was 90% in artificial wastewater. Agitation process was more effective than aeration process in that case of nitrogen removal system using ALC.

Insulation Properties of CLC according to Mixing Ratio of EPS Bead (EPS Bead 혼입비율에 따른 CLC의 단열특성)

  • CLC is used as a filling material for many buildings, and according to energy saving design standards, CLC also requires insulation performance. However, it shows lower insulation performance compared to organic insulation, so additional research is needed. Therefore, in this study, the insulation properties of CLC were analyzed by incorporating EPS beads with high insulation performance into CLC. In this experiment, EPS beads and blast furnace slag were replaced, and W/B was fixed at 33%. The EPS Bead mixing ratio was divided into 5 levels: 0, 0.5, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0 (%), and the experimental items were measured for apparent density and thermal conductivity. As a result of the experiment, the apparent density and thermal conductivity tended to decrease as the mixing ratio of EPS beads increased. It is judged that the density decreased due to the low density and the micropores inside, and the thermal conductivity also decreased.
