The purpose of this study was to examine the teaching efficiency of clinical training for dental hygiene students in Gyeonggi Province. The subjects in this study were 371 dental hygiene juniors in seven different colleges in Gyeonggi Province, on whom a self-administered survey was conducted. The collected data were analyzed with a SPSS WIN 12.0 program, and the findings of the study were as follows: 1. The teaching efficiency of clinical training that the dental hygiene students undergone was on the average. As for evaluation of the factors of teaching efficiency, they gave the highest marks to the role model factor(3.40). 2. The size of the institutions where they received clinical training made no statistically significant differences to the teaching efficiency of their clinical training. The university hospitals ranked first in professional knowledge, one of the sub-directory of teaching efficiency, and the gap between them and the others was statistically significant(p=.005). 3. Concerning links between satisfaction level with the major and view of teaching efficiency, stronger satisfaction with the major led to better perception of teaching efficiency(p=.001). Among the subdirectory of teaching efficiency, that made statistically significant differences to view of interpersonal skills, performance as a supporter, fair evaluation, academic organization skills(p=.005), encouragement and support, teaching methods, professional academic knowledge(p=.001), communicative competency, performance as a role model and cooperation with the staff of dental clinics(p=.000). 4. There were no statistically significant gaps in teaching efficiency according to teaching styles. Among the sub-directory of teaching efficiency, statistically significant differences were found only in encouragement and support(p=.005). The above-mentioned findings suggest that the teaching efficacy of the clinical training was approximately on the average, and that a better satisfaction with the major led to a higher teaching efficacy. Therefore a wide variety of teaching methods and systematic training programs should be developed to boost the quality of clinical training to improve its teaching efficacy.
The decrease in the number of school-age population, the introduction of university evaluation and educational capacity enhancement projects have made the enrollment rate and employment rate important indicators. Accordingly, universities are making great efforts to improve the competitiveness of their universities by increasing students' major satisfaction. The purpose of this study is to find out whether art and music students major selection motivsion of affects major satisfaction for career preparation behavior. For this survey, students of arts and physical education at K University in Gyeonggi-do were surveyed and 197 questionnaires were used as analysis data. As a result of the study, it was found that major selection motivation had a significant static effect on career preparation behavior and major satisfaction, and major satisfaction was analyzed to have a complete mediating effect on the effect of major selection motivation on career preparation behavior. With on the results of this study, in the future, universities will need an efficient curriculum to enhance students' majors satisfaction. To that end, we should develop the theoretical and practical curriculum so that students can actively participate, operate programs such as operation of comparative subjects and on-demand education, and raise the level of education. To this end, the interest and active support of the industry-academia-research are required.
In 2015 the Department of Education announced that it will make downsizing efforts by recommending classified downsizing ratio according to the evaluation of universities for active support toward autonomous efforts of universities with the possibilities of reform and qualitative structural reform for customized human resource cultivation according to the social demands. This is the preemtive structural reform preparing against the rapid decrease of the number of students, and the preparation for changing into competitive universities so that customized human resource that is needed in the society can be trained. Security Science Departments of Korea, first established in 1996, need changes in curriculum in order to prepare for the fourth revolution of the future, and are stagnant on the education goal and employment course. Therefore the adoption of related certificates, curriculum, NCS, and professional curriculum is needed. For example, Hansei University, Chung-Ang University, and Far East University have established the Department of Industrial Security, and Kyonggi University and Sungshin Women's University have established the Department of Convergence Security. Also, Konkuk University has established the Graduate School of Security and Disasters, the Graduate School of Information and Policy, the Graduate School of Criminal Justice, Gachon University the Graduate School of National Security, Sungkyunkwan University the Graduate School of Strategic Studies. This shows that the field of Security Science should not settle for itself. This article analyzes current curriculum and subjects of security, police, industrial security, military related academic departments of key universities. It is necessary to prepare for the future by predicting the change from the merge of academic departments and the demands of the times. As technical colleges are adopting NCS, this is the time to seek for systematic collaboration between universities and technical colleges and between industry, government, and academida.

This study looks into forest fire occurrence hazards according to the change of temperature and humidity over thirty years at interval of ten days. We used data from the forest fire inventory from 1995 to 2004 and weather data such as average temperature and relative humidity for 30 years from 1971 to 2000. These data were expressed as a database with ten-day intervals for 76 weather stations. Forest fire hazards occurred in the spring season from the end of March to the middle of April. For the first step, the primitive surface of temperature and humidity was interpolated by IDW (the standard interpolation method). These thematic maps have a 1 km by 1 km grid spacing resolution. Next, we executed a simple regression analysis after extracting forest fire frequency, temperature and humidity values from 76 weather stations. The results produced a coefficient of determination ($R^2$) ranging from 0.4 to 0.6. Moreover, the estimation of forest fire occurrence hazards during early April was very high at Gyeongbuk Interior, Chungcheong Interior and part of Gangwon. The range of temperature and humidity having an influence on forest fire occurrence was as follows: average temperature and relative humidity in early April was $9-12^{\circ}C$ and 61-65%. At the end of March, temperature was $6-10^{\circ}C$, humidity 62-67%, and temperature was $11-14^{\circ}C$ and humidity 60-67% in the middle of April.

This study was conducted to verify the effects of an school library program using picture books and graphic organizers on first grade children's literacy abilities and book lending, and to evaluate the program with mothers' and mentors' responses. Twenty eight first graders of an elementary school in Kyunggi province participated in this program. Their reading and writing abilities were tested, and their book lending behaviors were compared before and after the whole program. The participants explored 20 picture books by reading aloud and expressed their responses on the graphic organizers over 11 weeks. The findings of this study after the whole session was complete were as follows. First, participants significantly improved in reading comprehension and writing assessed in terms of fluency, format, organization, expression, contents, and themes. Second, they lent books more frequently from the library than before. Third, participants' mothers showed great satisfaction for the program in that it enhanced child's reading ability, reading attitude, and mother's interest in children's books and library, and mentors also reported very positive impact of this program to themselves.

This study examined the awareness of the healthcare accreditation system, job stress, organizational commitment, and the turnover intention to determine the effects of these factors on the turnover intention of small and medium sized hospitals. A total of 202 nurses who worked in hospitals with less than 500 beds located in Gyeonggi-do, participated in this study. Questionnaires were given to the nurses who experienced healthcare accreditation, and data were collected between 1 December 2015 and 30 March 2016. As a result, the factors and general characteristics, influencing the turnover intention were found to be age (F=4.68, p<.001), marital condition (F=3.92, p<.001), and department of work (F=3.23, p<.008). The turnover intention was negatively correlated with the awareness of the healthcare accreditation system (r=-.46, p<.001) and nursing organizational commitment(r=-.35, p<.001), but positively correlated with the job stress (r=.21, p=.002). Regression analysis showed that the turnover intention of nurses from small and medium sized hospitals had 22.0% on the organizational commitment, department type, and job stress. Therefore, to decrease the nurses' the turnover intention, managers of small and medium sized hospitals need to draw up measures to support job involvement and policy improvement. The results also showed the difference in turnover intention according to the department type. Accordingly, there is a need for a differentiated approach according to the department of work, such as a special unit, ward, and outpatient department.
The purpose of this study was to determine the impact in visitors' spending on two separate local festivals, and to present the improved market strategies to attract visitors to revisit the local festivals. This study was also intended to suggest the ways to increase the competitiveness and revitalize the local festivals by improving the existing attractions and creating new attractions based on the visitors' evaluation. On the purpose of the study, we studied the visitors of two local ricefests, Icheon Rice Cultural Festival and Rice Festival in Jincheon Chungbuk, and estimated the determinants influencing the visitors' spending to the festivals by applying Tobit model. Finally, to estimate the behavioral differences in visitors of the two festivals, we compared the estimated determinants for the visitors of each festival by using Log-likelihood Ratio, and analyzed the differences in the factors influencing the visitors' spending. Summarizing the propensity of visitor's spending to local festivals, visitors of two rice festivals buy or tended to buy things on impulse. Therefore, festival industry needs to take measures to efficiently accommodate their expenditures from the stage of designing festivals.
Since 2000, as importance of sourcing energy emphasized caused by instability of international oil price, interests toward Caspian countries as an alternative markets has increased. Especially, Azerbaijan, as middle Asian emerging exporting country, has performed drastic economic boom because of massive amount of foreign capital flowed in and construction of BTC pipeline. However, despite this economic surge, there are unbalanced economy which is merely focusing on energy industry and pressure from increase in real exchange rate and inflation. In order to analyze the sustainability of Azerbaijan economy, the total sample time period of this paper is from January 2001 to December 2007 and the term is divided into before and after BTC line construction. Vector Error-Correction Model has been applied to analysis confirming short-term and long-term effect. As a result, Azerbaijan now face the symptoms of the recession during the time period and this is due to high oil price and increase in export influenced by BTC oil pipeline resulting in decrease in real interest rate. This conclusion is to affect competitiveness of manufacturing industry, base industry for economic proliferation, in a negative way.
Objective : The aims of this study are to investigate the correlation between spiritual well-being and the pattern of stress coping strategies, as well as understand how they impact depression and psychological well-being. Methods : We analyzed 320 undergraduate students in a capital area (135 males, 170 females; 15 students who answered irrelevantly were excluded). Spiritual well-being (religious and existential), stress coping strategies (active and passive), psychological well-being and, depression were rated using the Spiritual Well-Being scale, Ways of Coping checklist, Psychological Well-Being measurement, and Depression Scale (CES-D), respectively. For the analysis, we utilized Pearson correlation analysis and simple regression analysis. Results : The analysis revealed a positive correlation between Spiritual well-being and active coping strategies, a negative correlation between existential well-being and depression, and a positive correlation between religious well-being and psychological well-being. By regression analysis, it showed spiritual-well being affected depression negatively. Existential well-being, but not religious well-being, affected depression negatively. Furthermore, the impact of existential well-being on depression remained a strong predictor in males better than females. Existential well-being affected psychological well-being positively through active coping strategies. Conclusion : In this study, we verified a correlation between existential well-Being and active coping strategies which affected depression and psychological well-being in undergraduate students.
This study is aimed at exploring the educational meaning of cooperative hands-on activity in the technology subject from the perspective of a student who is an education consumer. For this purpose, this study selected 12 first year student of a middle school located at G City of Gyeonggi-do Province as research participants through purposeful sampling, and conducted an in-depth interview and group discussion based on stimulated recall questionary techniques. This study utilized area analysis, classification analysis and component analysis as a data analysis method, and secured the verity of the research through the examination between research participants and triangulation. As a result of this research work, it was found that the cooperative hands-on class in the technology subject had the meaning of 'Space between a burden and excitement about the technical making', 'Clue and ignition point of technological problem solving', and 'Self-discovery through Technical capability'. To be more concrete, 'Space between a burden and excitement about the technical making' means that students, whose usual school record is excellent, felt great psychological burdens of performance assessment, but their pre-experience and interest in 'Making' induced them to feel exhilaration of hands-on activity. 'Clue and ignition point of technological problem solving' means that students get to make much of the understanding & formation of the relationship with teammates in the process of resolving an unfamiliar hands-on activity task and to have the continuous problem-solving ability. 'Self-discovery through Technical capability' means that students get to realize the importance of learning experience of one's own making through hands-on activity learning, which could be the opportunity to meet the operant demands of the inner side. This study hopes that such results could be utilized as the basic data needed for designing the hands-on activity education in the technology subject more meaningfully and systematically for the time to come.
