Recently, in the course of business processes a variety of abuse cases of fax documents is common in general corporate, government, and financial institutions. To solve this problem, it is necessary for a technique to prevent falsification of fax documents. In this paper, we propose a new fax sender verification technique based on pattern analysis to prevent falsification of fax documents only using the received fax document. In the proposed technique, the fax sender is verified by analyzing the communication signal patterns between the fax sender and receiver and image pattern in the received fax document. In this paper, we conduct the experiments that apply our technique to real-world fax systems, and then tamper-proof effects were confirmed from the experimental results.

In this study, the rate-sensitive constitutive model, which was developed in the previous paper of this journal, was validated using the experimental results obtained from the well-calibrated triaxial compression test conducted with the Boston blue clay. The validation was performed for the various cases of the strain rate of 0.05%/hr, 0.5%/hr, 5.0%/hr and OCR of 1, 2, 4, 8. The developed model was validated for the normally and slightly overconsolidated cases; however, the cases of heavily overconsolidation needs further research.

In this study, a comparison was conducted to verify the propellant isolation assembly of the Korea Pathfinder Lunar Orbiter (KPLO). An engineering validation model (EVM) is being developed to simulate the flow of the flight model. Three factors were selected for comparison: the total pressure drop during propellant isolation assembly, the waterhammer by driving thruster valve, and the orifice set up for flow control and damping the waterhammer. The analysis results are compared with EVM test results. In the future, backup data to confirm the design will be established.
To investigate the reliability, validity of posttraumatic growth among Korean cancer caregiver, 295 participants were asked to complete a Korean posttraumatic growth inventory, translated from the Posttraumatic Growth Inventory (PTGI; J Trauma Stress 1996; 9: 455.471), together with the Caregiver burden scale, life style interruption scale, economic burden scale and positive adaptation scale, social support scale and questions about religious and demographic factors. Cronbach's alpha was 0.95 for the K-PTGI, indicating sufficient internal consistencies. Construct and Criterion validity were also supported. K-PTGI appeared to be a sound measure for the experience of posttraumatic growth in cancer caregivers and this study result will be able to contribute to facilitate future research.

Geant4 (GEometry ANd Tracking) provides various packages specialized in modeling electromagnetic interactions. The validation of Geant4 physics models is a significant issue for the applications of Geant4 based simulation in medical physics. The purpose of this study is to evaluate accuracy of Geant4 electromagnetic physics for proton therapy. The validation was performed both the Continuous slowing down approximation (CSDA) range and the stopping power. In each test, the reliability of the electromagnetic models in a selected group of materials was evaluated such as water, bone, adipose tissue and various atomic elements. Results of Geant4 simulation were compared with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) reference data. As results of comparison about water, bone and adipose tissue, average percent difference of CSDA range were presented 1.0%, 1.4% and 1.4%, respectively. Average percent difference of stopping power were presented 0.7%, 1.0% and 1.3%, respectively. The data were analyzed through the kolmogorov-smirnov Goodness-of-Fit statistical analysis test. All the results from electromagnetic models showed a good agreement with the reference data, where all the corresponding p-values are higher than the confidence level $\alpha=0.05$ set.

This study was conducted to develop a group counseling program to solve the problem of maladjustment of military personnel and to verify the effectiveness of the program. The 12 session CBT and ACT program for military soldiers experiencing emotional and behavioral problems was developed and the effectiveness was verified by conducting a program once a week for soldiers in the army units based in South Chungcheong Province. Adult Self Report scale(ASR) was implemented for pre-post test and analysis, and descriptive statistical analysis, cross-analysis, paired sample t-test, and independent sample t-test were performed to analyze the results. The results indicated are as follows: First, the preliminary homogeneity test between groups showed that the two groups had homogeneous demographic characteristics and the characteristics of the variables. Second, as a result of the pre-post test verification, both CBT and ACT groups showed significant changes in problem behavior totals, internalizations, and externalizations. Third, there was no difference between the pre-post-examination of the CBT group and the ACT group. This study is meaningful in that it was involved in the maladjustment problem within the military unit, and compared the effectiveness between the two theories, and proposed the study of control groups and further studies on more diverse and diverse subjects that were not implemented under the circumstances of the unit.
The purpose of this study was to test the validity and reliability of the Korean version of the Tuberculosis Interview Instrument (K-TII). The instrument was first translated into Korean, back-translated to English, and reviewed. After the translation process, the instrument was revised from 52 items to 37 items by researchers and an expert according to the systematic review. In addition, these items were reduced to 32 items after the content validity test was done by 9 experts. As a result of pilot study conducted in 20 early childhood teachers, 32 items were selected for the preliminary instrument. Data collected from 289 early childhood teachers were used to test the validity and reliability of the preliminary instrument. The result of factor analysis showed that the instrument categorized into 7 factors explaining 71% of the total variance and 27 items were retained for the final instrument. The result of Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ coefficient was .88. In conclusion, the K-TII may be a suitable instrument for assessing tuberculosis prevention behaviors in early childhood teachers in Korea.

The structural approach in the signature verification, representing a signature as a structural form of local primitives, shows an excellent performance since it counts in the local characteristics such as local variation, stroke complexity, and etc. However, this method has a problem of template data sizing which can not fix the number of subpatterns comprising a signature. In this paper, we proposed a new algorithm to reduce the signature data into a fixed size by selecting a fixed number of subpatterns which is considered as important parts. As a result, it shows more excellent performance when the fixed sized sub-patterns is applied with local weights extracted from variational characteristics and complexities in local part. And the number of subpatterns representing a signature reference model can be fixed under a certain number of segments determined appropriately.
The aim of this study is to evaluate the susceptibility of landslides at Kangneung area, Korea, using a Geographic Information System (GIS) and remote sensing. Landslide locations were identified from interpretation of satellite image and field surveys. The topographic, soil, forest, geologic, lineament and land cover data were collected, processed and constructed into a spatial database using GIS and remote sensing data. Using frequency ratio model which is one of the probability model, the relationships between landslides and related factors such as slope, aspect, curvature and type of topography, texture, material, drainage and effective thickness of soil, type, age, diameter and density of wood, lithology, distance from lineament and land cover were calculated as frequency ratios. Then, the frequency ratio were summed to calculate a landslide susceptibility indexes and the landslide susceptibility maps were generated using the indexes. The results of the analysis were verified and cross-validated using actual landslide location data. The verification results showed satisfactory agreement between the susceptibility map and the existing data on landslide locations.
The objective of this study is to verify the effects of private banking(PB) relation marketing on relationship quality between bank and customer and long-term business intention and to verify the mediating effect of the relationship quality. The subjects of this study were 431 PB customers in Seoul. The questionnaire data were utilized for verification of hypotheses through structural equation model analysis. As a result of verification, PB relation marketing presented a statistically significant positive correlation with relationship quality between bank and customer. The PB relation marketing showed a significant positive effect on the long-term business intention with the mediating effect of the relation quality. Finally, the result of this study is meaningful in a point of view of PB relation marketing of bank on the relationship quality and long-term business intention. It is worthwhile to verify the mediation effect of the relationship quality.
