이두박건 활차의 역할은 견관절 운동 시 이두박건 장두에 가해지는 전상방 전단응력을 막아주며, 관절내에서 이두박건의 운동을 인도해줌으로써, 이두박건 장두의 관절내 유효거리를 유지해 주게 된다. 견관절의 외전 및 외회전 운동시 이두박건 장두의 내측으로 가해지는 응력은 이두박건 활차 및 견갑하건의 손상과 함께 이두박건 장두의 내측 탈구를 유발할 수 있으며, 회전건개 파열과 동반될 경우 증상을 더욱 악화시킬 수 있으므로 진단 및 치료에 주의를 요한다.

A 7-year-old, intact female Jindo dog was presented for assessment of weight-bearing lameness of the right hindlimb. On physical examination, crepitus and pain was noted in the right coxofemoral joint upon extension. Radiographs revealed a craniodorsal luxation of the right coxofemoral joint and degenerative joint disease (DJD) of both coxofemoral joints. Total hip replacement (THR) was performed for the right coxofemoral joint. Intraoperatively, dorsal acetabular rim (DAR) deficiency was noted, which can be related to a high risk for acetabular cup implant dislocation. Deficiency of the dorsal acetabular rim realigned with the acetabular cup using universal locking plate (ULP) and polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) bone cement. After surgery, the patient had an uneventful course and a successful outcome. The ROM and thigh girth were dramatically improved. There were no complications associated with prosthesis implants. Hip luxation with dorsal acetabular rim deficiency in a dog was successfully repaired with THR and dorsal acetabular rim augmentation using ULP and PMMA bone cement. This technique should be considered when conventional THR is precluded by dorsal acetabular rim deficiency.

A growing number of people are enjoying sports activity with a rise in national income. In this current, many patients complain of traumatic shoulder dislocation and chronic instability with bony Bankart lesion. Computed tomography arthrography is good diagnostic modality for bony Bankart lesion. It is important to consider the patients' factors such as occupation, sports activity, size of preoperative glenoid bone loss before decision of treatment. As development of arthroscopic treatment, there is no significant difference in the result of bony Bankart repair between arthroscopic surgery and open surgery. However, open surgery should be considered for patients with preoperative glenoid bone loss more than 25% or in need of collision sports activity.

Purpose: The elbow joint is one of the most stable joints. Dislocation and fracture can occur in elbow joint most commonly next to shoulder joint. Various injuries can occur according to generated mechanism, age of patient and impact. Despite proper treatment, various complications can occur. Materials and Methods: We describe etiology and treatment of these complications after elbow trauma such as stiffness, instability and heterotopic ossification. Results and Conclusion: Malunion, nonunion and traumatic arthritis are addressed as a possible complication after fracture around elbow joint.
