Study of Acquiring the Credibility for Weapon System M&S with V&V Process (검증 및 확인(V&V) 절차를 통한 무기체계 M&S 신뢰도 확보에 관한 연구)

  • Verification, Validation & Accreditation (VV&A) process is widely applied in various disciplines as a method of acquiring the credibility for M&S tools. The guideline of VV&A states that the detailed process can be established flexibly according to the needs and the availability of resources. For example, DAPA (Defense Acquisition Program Administration) guideline suggests that the accreditation process in the VV&A can be omitted if necessary. On this study, we first introduce and describe V&V process. Accreditation process is omitted due to limited time and resources. However, the proposed V&V is sufficient for our needs. Finally, we apply the proposed process of V&V to the System-Integrated Simulator of "Raybolt", Medium-Range Infantry Missile System, for the acquisition of the M&S credibility.

  • 미연방통신위원회(FCC)에서는 무선전파를 사용하는 장비 및 부품들은 사용에 앞서 해당 기술기준에 적합한지를 인증받도록 하고 있다. FCC가 규정하고 있는 무선전파를 사용하고 있는 기기들에 대한 인증은 확인, 형식승인, 신고, 형식인정, 검증 등으로 분류된다. 본 고는 FCC의 전파응용기기 및 부품에 관한 인증제도를 조사 분석하여 향후 국내의 무선통신 기기들에 대한 인증제도의 확립 및 시험 방법 연구에 보탬이 되고자 한다.

  • When developing a weapon system, a T&E(Test and Evaluation) can be performed using M&S for the test items that cannot be evaluated in the real world. In this case, the VV&A activities are required to prove the credibility of M&S for the T&E. Recently, the use of M&S has been increasing as the R&D trends of weapon systems are becoming more advanced. Therefore, the VV&A activities are also increasing. The VV&A activities aim to verify, validate, and accredit that the simulation can represent a real system and ensure credibility regarding its purpose and intention of use. VV&A activities are divided into V&V and Accreditation. When performing VV&A in the ADD (Agency for Defense Development), the V&V activities are performed by a separate department of the ADD and the accreditation activities are performed in the DTAQ (Defense Agency for Technology and Quality). This paper proposes a V&V process for a T&E of M&S that has been performed in ADD. The process is used to verify and validate the documents and data generated during the development process according to the accreditation criteria, and provides objective data that can be used to judge whether the accreditation decision and acceptance criteria are met.

The Mediating Effect of Strengths Use on the Relation of Strengths Knowledge and Career Decision Level among College Students: Multi-Group Analysis based on Goal Orientation Type (대학생의 강점인식과 진로결정수준의 관계에서 강점활용의 매개효과 검증: 목표지향성 유형에 따른 다집단 분석)

  • This study examined the mediating effects of strengths use on the relation of strengths knowledge and career decision level among 393 college students. To analyze the data, the structural equation modeling were used. Finally, the mediating model examined the differences between goal orientation(validation-seeking orientation, growth-seeking orientation) of Dykman by carrying out of multi-group analysis. The results were as followed. First, strengths use partially mediated the relationship between strengths knowledge and career decision level. Second, the mediating model showed variation in different goal orientation type group. In other words, strengths knowledge occurs more severely and distinctively impact on career decision level in growth-seeking group than validation-seeking group. Based on the findings, implications for counseling practice, limitations of this study and recommendations for future study were discussed.

  • 음성정보 산업은 오래 전부터 정보화 사회의 핵심 분야로서 잠재가치를 인정받아 왔지만, 불행히도 기술개발 및 시장 수요가 뒷받침되지 않아 먼 미래의 산업으로 인식되어 왔다. 그러나 최근 음성처리기술이 가시화 되고 인터넷 이용이 활성화되면서 보이스포탈, 음성 증권정보 등 음성과 인터넷이 결합된 서비스가 급격히 증가하고 있다. 현재 인터넷의 사용이 많아지면서 회원가입을 받는 사이트들이 늘어나게 되었다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 웹사이트의 회원가입에서의 고객의 신분 확인 및 회원의 검증과 청소년 고객의 고의적인 오류자료 입력 방지와 전화로 고객을 응대하는 업무가 집중적으로 많은 콜 센터 등의 응용 프로그램 환경에 있어서 전화 통신의 편리성, 응대 시간 축소, 전화 업무 자동화 기능 등을 가능하게 하기 위한 기술의 개발에 대해 연구하였다.

A Study on the Job Analysis of Job Competency Assessor (직무능력평가사의 직무분석에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of the job competency assessor who assess achievement of job performance ability based on NCS (educational training, qualifications, field experience, etc.) through competency assessment. For this purpose, job analysis including development and verification of the job model and selection of core task are conducted. As a result, main duties of the job competency assessor are to understand the NCS based assessment principle, establish an assessment plan, design and develop assessment tools, assess competence, provide feedback and re-assessment, record and manage assessment result, verify the internal assessment result, establish the RPL (recognition of prior learning) plan, implement the RPL and verify the RPL assessment result, and 48 task are derived. In addition, a total of 21 core tasks are derived based on the threshold value multiplied by the importance and difficulty of the task for each duty. Based on this, implications for job analysis of the job competency assessor are presented.

  • This study introduces the verification, validation & accreditation (VV&A) process for modeling & simulation (M&S). VV&A is standard process for credibility of M&S. In several countries including USA, for weapon system of Defense Development using M&S, VV&A is necessary procedures to acquire official approving for credibility of M&S. Many countries have regular recommend practice guide (RPG) and instructive for VV&A of M&S. In this study, we focus the VV&A key concepts as Department of Defense RPG of USA and give the outline of the main VV&A concepts because we don't have any available VV&A Instructive. Also, this report documents the first significant VV&A application for a MITS(M-SAM Integrate Test System) including Verification and Validation(V&V) activity and tasks.

  • 인정바닥구조는 신청에서부터 인정서 발급까지 기본적으로 2개월 이상이 소요되며, 신청 제품이 많을수록 그 기간은 길어지게 된다. 본 논문은 이와 같은 완충재의 성능을 확인하기 위해 소요되는 기간과 비용을 획기적으로 단축할 수 있는 간편한 방법을 제시하기 위한 것이다. 완충재 설치 이후 습식으로 시공되는 경량기포콘크리트와 모르터를 사전에 일정 크기로 제작(축소모형 시험판)한 후 골조가 완성된 현장에서 바닥충격음을 측정하는 방법이다. 완충재 2개 제품에 대하여 축소모형 시험판을 이용하여 측정한 결과와 전체 세대를 시공한 후 측정한 결과를 비교한 결과 경량충격음은 축소모형 시험판이 훨씬 낮은 결과를 나타냈지만 중량충격음은 비슷한 결과를 나타냈다. 이로써 축소모형 시험판을 이용하여 바닥충격음을 측정하는 것은 경량충격음을 저감하기 위한 재료 선정 및 제품 시스템 구성 등에 활용될 수 있을 것이며, 현장에서 중량충격음 차단성능을 신속하게 검증할 수 있는 방법으로 활용할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

  • As computer industry has been rapidly developed since 1980's, it has been highly increasing to use M&S. The use of M&S can reduce development cost, time to market, and so on, and using it we can get the results of experiments which are impossible to test in real environments. But there is an important precondition on the dependability of M&S which is being developed or used. In this paper, We introduce the Key concepts of VV&A, and so forth, and We finally present the DM&S VV&A application and promotion method.

A Study on Mineral Distribution in Korean Foodstuffs by Neutron Activation Analysis (중성자방사화분석법에 의한 국내 식품원재료의 무기질 분포 연구)

  • Concentrations of minerals (Ca, K, Mg, Na, Se, Zn, Fe, and Mn) in 50 different Korean foodstuffs were determined through neutron activation analysis. To check the accuracy of this method, the U.S. NIST standard reference materials were analyzed. Anchovy, sesame, perilla, and laver were found to contain relatively higher concentrations of Ca, Mg, Fe, and Zn than the other foodstuffs.
