Experimental Performance Characteristics of Crumb Rubber-Modified(CRM) Asphalt Concrete (폐타이어활용 아스팔트 콘크리트의 실험적 공용특성)

  • Indirect tensile strength(IDT) test and resilient modulus(Mr) test were performed to evaluate experimental performance characteristics for the conventional and crumb rubber-modified(CRM) asphalt concrete using dry and wet processes asphalt. The IDT test was conducted under three temperatures(5, 10, 20$^{\circ}C$). According to the test results, it was shown that indirect tensile strength of CRM asphalt concrete was lower than that of the conventional one. However, toughness and maximum vortical strain of the CRM asphalt concrete were higher than those of the conventional one. The results of Mr test were presented that Mr of CRM asphalt concrete was higher than that of the conventional one. In addition, it was revealed that the overall laboratory performance characteristics of the wet-processed CRM asphalt concrete was better than those of the dry-processed one.

  • 1979년 준공된 수도권 광역상수도 1단계 시설은 상당한 노후화가 진행되었을 것으로 예상되며, 또한 향후 한강하류권 용수공급계획이 예정되어 있어 내부부식 및 관로손상부 개량의 시급성이 제기되었다. 이에 따라 직경 2,800${\sim}$800mm의 초대구경 도수관 53.9km의 개량을 위한 사업이 추진되었으며 시공성, 환경성, 경제성 등의 여러 항목에 대한 검토 결과 신개념 녹색공법인 비굴착식 건식일체형 공법이 최종 선정되었다. 그동안 기존관 개량공사에서 주로 사용되었던 굴착공법이 굴착에 따른 공기지연, 소음 분진 악취 등의 환경오염, 전구간 굴착에 따른 공사비 증가 등 많은 문제점을 안고 있는 것에 반해, 동사업에서 채택된 비굴착공법은 관로내에서 작업이 이루어지므로 공기단축, 환경오염 최소화에 따른 민원발생 최소화, 작업구만 굴착함에서 오는 공사비 절감 등 상대적으로 훨씬 우수한 것으로 평가된다. 동공법에 따르면 관내부 갱생공사는 '배수 및 잔류토사 제거'${\to}$'관내건조'${\to}$'표면처리'${\to}$'프라이머도장'${\to}$'본도장'의 순으로 진행된다. 일체형 장비에 의한 이와 같은 초대형관의 자동화시공은 세계에서 처음 적용되는 것이다.

A Study on the Structure Behavior of Dry-assembled Wall with Concrete Blocks subjected to Cyclic Lateral Load (콘크리트블록으로 건식조립된 벽체의 수평반복하중에 대한 구조거동 연구)

  • Masonry structures are used as bearing walls in small buildings, but they are generally considered non-bearing walls. They are used as partition walls that divide the interior spaces of the frame structures of buildings. In addition, wetting techniques that use mortar as an adhesive between blocks or bricks in construction are vulnerable to climatic conditions, especially cracks in mortar, which can cause conduction collapse of the walls in seismic loading. The purpose of this research was to propose a dry concrete block construction method that complements the weak axial shear stiffness and improves the weakness of the wet construction method as well as to investigate its structural behavior. In this study, the material properties of concrete blocks were examined, and the seismic performance of the proposed dry assembly structure was verified by structural behavior tests on horizontal cyclic loads. First, in these study results, concrete blocks can be applied to the dry block construction method instead of wet construction methods because they secure more than C-type blocks in KS regulations. Second, the structural performance of the wall against a horizontal cyclic load indicates that the resisting force of the assembly block wall is increased by increasing the horizontal length of the wall, forming several diagonal cracks. Finally, the proposed dry block wall structure requires a seismic performance assessment considering that the ratio of the shape of the wall by height and length is considered a major influence variable on the structural behavior under a horizontal load.

  • A recent earthquake on the Korean Peninsula caused much damage to masonry buildings, and research on performance evaluation has been underway. A masonry building is generally constructed using wet construction and is affected by temperature, which reduces the efficiency of the construction. In this study, we propose a dry construction technique for assembling concrete blocks without using mortar and evaluated its performance through experimental and analytical research. To evaluate the performance, experiments were carried out for the prismatic compressive strength, direct terminal strength, and diagonal tensile strength of the dry construction wall. The adequacy of the cross section shape was also reviewed through FEM analysis. The results show that the compressive strength and diagonal tensile strength could exert a certain intensity or higher. Furthermore, the H-type module of a key block acted as a shear key for the entire concrete block, which resulted in excellent shear strength performance. In addition, the shape and thickness of the main block have a major effect on the strength performance of each block. Therefore, an optimal shape and the proposed dry construction method could be applied to replace the wet method by studying the construction or seismic performance of the proposed method.

  • 최근들어 심화되고있는 자재난과 인력수급난등은 작업을 원활치 못하게 하는 요인으로 작용하여 공기를 지연 시키고 있어 건설업계가 호황속에 불황을 맞고 있는 실정이다. 이에 따라 건설업계 스스로 자구책을 강구해야 한다는 여론이 높아지고 있어 신자재 개발 및 신공법 개발을 더욱더 서두르고 있다. 몇몇 건설업체들은 이미 자동화 공정 미 건식공법 등을 도입 실용 단계에 들어갔으며 시험단계 중인 업체들도 상당수를 차지해 조만간 걸설업계에도 신공화법의 바람이 불 것으로 관련인들은 내다보고 있다. (주)한양 기계부는 그동안 화장실 벽체 배관의 공장 조립 시공화 방안을 연구 검토한 결과 그 타당성이 인정되어 올해 초부터 이 방안을 본격적으로 시공에 착수했다. 이에 본지는 신공법 개발의 한 분야로 이 방안을 소개 한다.

A Study on the Development of a Dry PFB Method with High Fire Resistance (건식화 P0SCO E&C Fire Board (PFB)공법 개발에 관한 연구)

  • The present study was to develop a dry PFB method similar to the existing gypsum board construction method in order to apply the existing wet PFB method that uses fire.resistant adhesive. It was found that the existing wet method can produce concrete compressive strength of 80MPa and fire resistance of 3 hours with 30mm PF boards. The goal of development in this study was fire resistance of 3 hours through dry construction of 15mm fire.resistant boards.According to the results of fire resistance test, when the dry PF method was applied, the temperature of the main reinforcing bar was 116$^{\circ}$C in 15mm, 103.8$^{\circ}$C in 20mm, and 94$^{\circ}$C in 25mm, and these results satisfied the current standards for fire resistance control presented by the Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs. When a 3.hour fire resistance test was performed and the external properties of the specimen were examined, the outermost gypsum board hardly remained and internal PF board maintained its form without thermal strain.

  • This study started to confirm and prove for the applicability of the dry-process waterproofing system to cover the defects of the wet-process waterproofing system according to weather circumstance, foundation condition and maintenance, etc. This process has triple combined waterproofing system using asphalt sheet, metal sheet, engineering plastic film. It is not influenced by the concrete's crack as the foundation of the roof according to the movement of the building because the waterproofing system is designed for maintaining good quality by absorbing the stress of contraction and expansion that is occurred by the variation of temperature. Ali components used in this process can be recycled environmentally. The superiority of this process proved and reconfirmed through with the investigation of about 130 fields, around 30,000nf for two years.

  • Recently, apartment houses are becoming more and more sophisticated and attention has been focused on the design of the interior of the bathrooms. As bathrooms always use water, the importance of waterproofing is very high. However, there continues to use the method that was used 30 years ago. And no one was trying to improve. It is necessary to be converted to a dry method, because waterproofing methods and materials have developed. Therefore, this study proposes the required performance before applying the dry waterproofing material to bathroom.

  • 본 논문은 건식 내부 굴착 매립 간척공법(Dry Internal Project Land Digging Reclamation Method, DIPLDRM)[3] 호소의 대기 환경 개선을 위한 미세먼지 조절 IOT 모듈을 개발하는데 목적으로 하고 있다. 이를 위해 공기오염 중 인체에 가장 영향을 많이 미치는 미세먼지를 측정할 수 있는 공기오염 측정 시스템을 위한 공기 상태 변화를 Web 브라우저를 제안한다. 또한 본 연구는 외부 대기 상태와 디바이스로부터 측정된 내부 대기상태를 비교할 수 있도록 시각화함으로써 사용자의 편의성을 증대시킬 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

  • 본 논문은 건식 내부 굴착 매립 간척공법(Dry Internal Project Land Digging Reclamation Method, DIPLDRM)[4] 호소의 수질개선을 위한 신재생에너지 IoT 시스템 개발을 목적으로 하고 있다. 이에 각종 센서와 액츄에이터를 활용하여 사람의 지속적인 관리 없이도 자동으로 물을 공급하고 온 습도 센서로부터 데이터의 값을 실시간 그래프로 모니터링 할 수 있도록 해 사용자에게 편의성을 제공했다. 또한 본 연구 결과로 효율적인 친환경 수질관리에 도움이 될 것이라 사료된다.
