A Study on Institutional Improvement for Application of Smart Construction Technology (스마트건설기술의 적용을 위한 건설안전 제도개선 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to assess legal improvements needed for extended application of smart technologies in construction sites. To achieve the objective of this study, at first, a literature review is conducted to define the concept of construction safety. Secondly, the statistics of construction accidents are assessed and systems and policies for construction safety in developed countries are then analyzed. Also, the applicability of smart safety technologies in the field is examined through recent application cases of construction & related industries. Finally, institutional issues related to the application of smart technology are assessed and policy improvement directions are then introduced. As a result, additional development of smart technologies for small construction sites and continuous policy supports are required. This study will be used as a baseline data for the institutional improvement related to smart construction technologies for domestic construction sites.

  • The Construction Technology Information System collects, processes, and provides the public with free of charge 16 types of construction technology-related texts or index information, such as construction standards, construction practices, and construction reports, required at construction sites to enhance domestic construction technology. This study judged that user satisfaction could be increased if the budget was allocated first to the most effective construction technology information DB establishment. For each type of construction technology information, the level of satisfaction felt by the population for the quantity provided and the value of use according to the acquisition and utilization of information were investigated. Reliability between independent variables and dependent variables through a multiple regression analysis process to identify how the demographic characteristics of the population affect user satisfaction and the factors that affect the use value of information for each type of construction technology information. and the correlation was analyzed. The correlation between the demographic characteristics of respondents and users' satisfaction with the provided quantity was generally low, but construction experience, age, etc. were found to have an effect on satisfaction with the provided quantity. In particular, among the demographic measurement items of respondents, the more construction experience they had, the higher their satisfaction level with the quantity provided of low-level technical standards, and it was analyzed that older age had an impact on satisfaction with the quantity provided for small and medium-sized business support information.

  • Recently, U-Construction is a topic word of construction industry. U-construction is construction with IT technology that is ubiquitous. That will help that domestic construction industry which is lower technology than developed countries overcomes the competition. RFID technology which can be transmission of massage and the receipt of a massage with non touch is core of U-construction. The RFID technology has a big range of application. Man ${\cdot}$ Quality ${\cdot}$ Process ${\cdot}$ Safety ${\cdot}$ Distribution management is already applied to construction industry and especially, The Man ${\cdot}$ Safety management are spreaded widely. This thesis analyzes that the State of Art of RFID Technology to Construction in Korea through the survey and RFID Technology becoming wider by construction scale and period. Process' Distribution management show the trend which becomes wider by construction scale and period.

  • After the introduction of Professional Engineer System to secure superior technical personnel in 1963, the engineering license regulations were introduced in 1995 - the person qualified with either the academic back ground or career in the construction field can be authorized as a construction engineer- to cope with higher demands for construction engineers caused by revitalization of construction business such as 2 million house construction. As a result, the number of construction engineers has been increased drastically since year 2000, which caused serious problems in utilizing top technical certificate, the PE's. Recently, relating to the opening of technology market according to WTO agreement and mutual authentication among countries and etc., the government is preparing legal and systematic foundations to guarantee the professionalism of engineers. Through the exact supply-demand forecast of PE's reflecting these systematic aspects, we are going to analyze the problems in the supply-demand of PE's and suggest the systematic improvement plans for managing the supply-demand of PE's. The result of this research can be used for building efficient and consistent raising and utilizing system of PE's as well as supply and demand system of qualified PE's

  • This paper aims to presents a systematic procedure for the development of construction technology roadmap, which can consider the offshore wind farm on port. Then the weight among the large/medium/small classified construction technology has identified through the AHP(Analytical Hierarchy Process) approach using FGI(Focus Group Interview) and questionnaire study. Based on the priority for classified construction technology a construction technology roadmap for port offshore wind farm was also developed. The technology roadmap suggests the time frame(20 years, from 2016 to 2036) to complete R&D work for the classified construction technology of port offshore wind farm. Such construction technology roadmap can be utilized as a milestone in setting up the R&D strategy in the green port construction industry.

  • 본 글에서는 최근 건설분야에 대한 적용이 적극적으로 모색되고 있는 그리드 기술에 대한 기존의 연구와 현재 국내에서 진행되고 있는 연구를 정리하고 소개하였다. 그리드 기술은 자원의 공유와 연계활용이라는 장점을 바탕으로 연구의 새로운 패러다임을 창출하는데 활용될 수 있다. 특히 건설현장에서 발생하는 복잡한 문제를 해결하기 위해 실험 및 해석을 병행하여 검증을 거쳐야 하는 경우가 많은 건설분야에서 시도되고 있는 하이브리드실험 및 분산실험 등의 연구는 그리드 기술이 제공하는 분산협업 환경을 활용함으로써 새로운 연구 형태로의 변화로 이어지고 있다. 그리고 국내건설업체에서도 마찬가지지만, 건설 및 계측현장이 전세계적으로 분산되고, 설계 및 시공의 전문가들 역시 분산되어 있는 상황이 빈번하게 발생할 경우, 전국 어느 곳에서나, 넓게는 세계 어느 곳에서나, 필요한 경우 협업이 가능하고 모든 필요 정보와 자원의 공유가 가능하도록 한다는 것은 지금까지의 독립적이고 제한적인 연구와는 차원이 다른 형태의 연구 환경을 제공하는 것이라 할 수 있다. 따라서 그리드 기술 및 그 활용기술의 개발은 이러한 새로운 형태의 연구를 보다 효과적이고 실효성 있게 진행하게 해줄 핵심기술로 기대된다. 이러한 상황에서 진행되고 있는 건설교통부의 '분산공유형 건설연구인프라 구축사업'은 건설/토목 분야 기술개발을 가속화시킬 수 있음은 물론 타 분야의 연구 활동에 변화를 촉진시킴으로써 우리나라 전체 과학 기술 발전에 크게 기여할 수 있는 사업이 될 것으로 기대된다.

원자력기술의 자립:고리원자력 1호기 준공

  • 고리원자력 1호기는 70년대 초 원자력의 제반기술, 인력, 관련산업 등 산업환경이 취약하였던 시절에 미국 웨스팅하우스사의 계약자 주도형 방식에 의해 건설되어 1978년 4월 상업운전을 개시한 국내 최초의 원자력 발전소이다. 건설당시 원전건설 경험부족과 국내 관련산업 기반의 취약성 때문에 한전 등 국내 업체가 참여할 수 있는 분야는 제한적이었으나 한전은 고리원자력 1호기의 건설에 참여함으로써 시공과 사업관리 등 건설기술을 외국 업체를 통하여 습득할 수 있었으며 이후 후속기 건설을 통하여 기술을 축적함으로써 현재에는 한국 표준형 원전을 북한에 건설할 수 있는 기술적 자립기반을 갖추는데 중요한 전기가 되었다. 한편 최초원전으로서 설비상의 문제점을 지속적인 설비개선과 철저한 예방정비 및 운영관리로 극복하고 1997년 3월 한주기무고장운전을 달성함으로써 원전 운영기술 축적 및 도약의 전기를 마련하는 등 국내 최초의 원자력 발전소로서 국내 원전기술의 자립을 이룩하는데 주요한 역할을 하여왔음은 주지의 사실이다. 우리나라 원자력산업이 여명기를 거쳐 도입과 정착과정을 통해 고리원자력 1호기가 국내 원전기술 자립에 기여한 과정을 조명해 보고자 한다.

  • 본 연구에서는 최근 급격히 발달하고 있는 인공지능 및 딥러닝 기술에 대한 소개와 수문기상을 포함한 수자원 분야에의 적용사례를 검토하였다. 본 연구의 목적은 우리 삶의 일부가 되어 가고 있는 인공지능 및 딥러닝 기술을 이해하고 보다 실효적인 측면에서 수자원 분야에 적용 활용하기 위한 연구 가이드라인을 제시하기 위함이다. 이를 위해 최근 널리 사용되는 인공지능 및 딥러닝 기법을 조사 분석하였다. 분석을 통해 수자원 분야에서 이러한 기술이 요구되는 분야와 신기술(emerging techniques)을 조망해 보고 기존 기술이 인공지능 및 딥러닝 기법의 적용으로 대체 가능한 정도를 가늠해 보았다. 이를 통해 인공지능 및 딥러닝 기술 적용의 장점과 한계를 고찰하고 향후 집중 연구가 필요한 기술을 제시하였다.

Efflorescence Test Evaluation of Concrete Brick and Hollow Concrete Block Products (콘크리트 벽돌 및 속 빈 콘크리트 블록 제품의 백화시험 평가)

  • Concrete bricks and hollow concrete block products manufactured using ordinary portland cement react with salt and carbon dioxide absorbed from the soil and atmosphere in the use environment, causing contamination such as efflorescence. This is due to the reaction between calcium hydroxide, a cement hydration product, and carbon dioxide, producing and eluting calcium carbonate. This study was a preliminary study to compare and evaluate the reduction of efflorescence in concrete bricks and hollow concrete block products manufactured using carbon dioxide reaction hardening cement. The purpose was to evaluate the efflorescence occurrence in products using ordinary Portland cement.
