Recently, it is necessary that construction industry should be into high value-added business lines using the measurement system because construction projects are increasing their complexity, variety and scale. But Performance measurement Systems that are most used around the world are subject to limitations for application on internal construction industry. This study addresses limitations of measurement system that is existing and proposes methodology for development of efficient Success Index system based on Critical Success Factors.

대한설비건설협회는 지난 2월 23일부터 시행에 들어간 녹색건축물조성지원법에 미래 건설산업의 핵심분야인 녹색건설에 차지하는 설비건설의 중요성을 반영하고, 설비건설 발전을 위한 정부 차원의 기본계획수립을 추진한 결과 국토해양부 장관이 녹색건축물 조성 촉진을 위하여 5년마다 수립하는 기본계획에 우리 설비분야가 포함되었고, 녹색건축물 전문인력 양성 및 업체 육성정책에도 설비 등 시공분야가 반영되었다. 이로써 그동안 협회가 추진했던 기계설비기준법의 제정 목적을 녹색건축물조성지원법에 반영시킨 성과를 거두었다. 이러한 성과를 바탕으로 협회는 금년에도 기계설비 시공 및 유지관리기준 등 기계설비의 주요 내용이 제대로 규정될 수 있도록 더욱 노력할 계획이다.

This study suggests strategies business strategies of specialty contractors by interaction analysis between business performance indicators and construction business indicators depending on operation types. To analyzing this research, a database was analyze for construction orders and business performance indicators for specialty contractors with KRW 7 billion from 1997 to 2010 yr. For organized management oriented specialty contractors, the amount of construction orders is directly affecting the corporate stability and therefore decreasing orders can negatively affect the owner's equity ratio. However, considering that the turnover ratio of total liabilities and net worth is affecting the owner's equity, an asset management plan needs to be established in a way to increase sales to the owner's equity secured with increase in construction orders. For a single leader oriented specialty contractors, the owner's equity ratio is also significantly affected by change in the amount of construction orders and some countermeasure is required. But, as liability ratio is affecting the amount of construction orders, some sort of countermeasures to decrease liability ratio is required.

In the construction industry, there are so many qualitative factors affecting the performance of a project. So it is crucial to measure the factors in an effective way in order to analyze the interrelationship among the various factors. To improve the performance level of a project, it is also important to identify the most appropriate management practices which are inter-linked with the subject project. The purpose of this study is to develop a project performance management system (PPMS) to quantitatively analyze the variety of project performance data and identify the best management practice to increase the potential level of a particular performance area. Using a comparative statistical method, this study developed a quantification method and web-based computerized system to enhance the usage of the system. The system, however, is still under the validation stage because of the shortage of data set. In the future, when more and more completed project data are stored in the system, the system would play a crucial role in predicting the performance level and matching the best management practice for a subject project. In addition, the system can also be modified as a tool for a business- or industry-level system by incorporating the existing enterprise resource programs.

There is an increment in Mergers and Acquisitions(M&A) case in international construction market. The world best construction corporations are now merging or acquiring with other companies in variety fields to increase their share of the market in diversified markets and boost their sales. Similarly, M&A cases of Korean construction corporations are now increasing. Although M&A cases are now rapidly increasing, performances of M&A cases haven't been measured. With Economic Value Added technique, the M&A performances of Korean construction corporations are measured in this study.

본 연구는 건설현장 관리자를 대상으로 재난에서의 위험인식이 BCMS위험평가를 매개로 기업의 경영성과에 미치는 영향을 설문을 통하여 실증적으로 미치는 영향을 확인하는 것이다. 최근의 사회적 이슈가 되는 중대재해 처벌법이 건설현장에서 기업의 사업주에게 영향을 미치고 있으며, 또한 사업주에게 영향을 미치는 것은 기업연속성에 직접적인 인과관계를 형성함으로써 기업에 경영성과에 영향을 미친다. 건설현장을 운영하는 기업의 사업주에게 중대시민의 재해에 대하여 실질적인 대처방안이 필요하며, 대안으로 현재 행안부에서 적극추진중인 BCMS의 위험평가를 적극적으로 활용하여, 건설현장에서의 관리자가 주체가 되어 중대시민재해를 예방하고, 기업의 연속성을 확보하는 것이 필요하다.

This study aims to implement an efficient process management system for small and medium sized(local) construction companies and a performance management system for the Korean construction industry. The process management system by Lean Construction is Web 2.0 platform-based and creates clusters with numerous general contractors and sub-contractors, which will enable mutually organic process management. Plus, this system will enable them to compare project performance management by analyzing it during or after a project by collecting and accumulating lots of data occurring in pursuit of a project. These performance management cases will be of help in process planning during similar upcoming projects. This study is expected to somewhat reduce the burden of implementing a complicated process management protocol and system that Korean small and medium sized (local) construction companies experience with their web-based process management, and is supposed to realize accurate performance management with highly reliable data which are significantly accumulated within the database.

본 연구는 건설현장 관리자를 대상으로 중대재해처벌법 인식이 건설업체의 경영성과에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 확인하는 것이다. 최근의 사회적 이슈가 되는 중대재해처벌법이 건설회사 이미지 실추, 경제적 손실 등의 간접적인 손실뿐만 아니라, 최고경영자에게 직접적인 영향을 미친다. 또한 건설업체에서 중대재해 발생시에는 중대재해처벌법에 의하여 최고경영자의 구속등으로 기업의 업무연속성에 영향을 미치는 사회재난이다. 건설현장을 운영하는 기업의 사업주에게 중대재해로부터 실질적인 대처방안이 필요하며, 대안으로 건설현장 관리자의 중대재해처벌법의 위험성에 대하여 인식을 강조하여, 건설현장에서의 관리자가 주체가 되어 중대재해를 예방하고, 기업의 연속성을 확보하는 것이 필요하다.

70만kW급 가압 중수로형 원전(CANDU-PHWR)으로 건설되고 있는 월성 원자력 2호기가 오는 6월의 상업 운전을 목전에 두고 있다. 월성 2호기가 준공되면, 우리 나라의 원전 설비 용량은 1천만kW를 돌파하게 된다. 한국전력공사의 종합사업 관리하에 건설 추진되어 온 월성 2호기는 충분한 운전 경험을 통해 그 안전성과 신뢰성이 입증된 CANDU-600과 동일한 노형으로, 월성 1호기 건설 이후의 설비 개선과 최신 기술 기준 및 강화된 인허가 요건을 적용하여 발전소 안전성과 신뢰성을 제고하였으며, 선행 호기의 건설 경험을 최대한 활용하여 공정 계획을 수립$\cdot$추진하여 왔다. 그간의 건설 경위 등을 특징별로 살펴 본다.

This study suggests architect specialty contractors' strategies by interaction analysis between construction business indicators and business performance indicators. To do this, a database was compiled for construction orders and business performance indicators of specialty contractors with KRW 7 bil. or more of assets of 1997 through 2010. The causal relationship verification and actual proof-oriented analysis were performed for architect specialty contractors. The result is analyzed that their turnover ratio of total liabilities and net worth are affecting obtention of construction orders, ultimately increasing the operating profits. Therefore, this type of specialty contractors is determined to be able to secure corporate stability by establishing a specific operation plan for the total assets.
