A Study on The Estimate of Risk Index by job classification for Apartment Construction (아파트공사의 직종별 위험도 산정에 관한 연구)

  • 건설공사는 인력의존도가 가장 높으며 타 산업에 대비하여 자동화가 매우 낮고 외기에 노출된 작업 환경으로 추락 등의 중대재해 위험이 가장 높은 산업이다. e-나라지표에 의하면 2006년부터 2012년까지 전체 산업의 약 21.9%를 차지하는 건설 근로자가 생산 활동에 종사하고 있으며, 이직 및 인력의 이동이 매우 잦은 특성을 갖고 있다. 2006년~2012년까지의 재해발생 통계에 따르면 전체적으로 타 산업은 매년 다소간의 증감은 있으나 재해가 감소하는 추세이지만, 건설공사의 경우는 지속적으로 증가하고 있다. 특히, 사고성 사망재해의 경우는 7년간 전체 산업에서 발생하는 사고성 사망재해의 평균 40.9%를 건설업이 차지하고 있어 가장 높아 매우 심각한 수준이다. 또한 건설현장과 건설회사의 안전보건경영의 운영방법 및 제도가 매우 단순하고 정성적인 수준으로 타 산업에 비하여 안전경영의 정량화에 대한 노력이 매우 미약하다. 과거 재해사례 및 통계를 분석하여 앞으로의 재해 위험 요소를 제거하거나 안전한 상태로 형성하여야 하나, 발표되는 재해사례나 통계를 구호 또는 슬로건으로 전파, 교육하는 수준에 머물고 있다. 본 연구에서는 아파트공사를 대상으로 2006년~2011년의 과거 재해통계(8,687건)를 분석하여 데이터베이스화하고, 실제 공사한 아파트공사 샘플현장의 자료(89,375명)를 데이터베이스화하여 현 실정에 부합한 정량적 직종별 위험도를 산정하는 연구를 진행하였다. 따라서 아파트공사의 직종별 위험도를 정량적인 데이터로 산출하고, 과학적인 방법으로 현장 위험수준을 실시간 모니터링 함으로써 건설현장의 주된 생산력인 근로자의 생명과 건강을 보호할 수 있는 효과적인 재해예방이 이루어 질 것으로 기대된다.

A Study on Virtual Environment Platform for Autonomous Tower Crane (타워크레인 자율화를 위한 가상환경 플랫폼 개발에 관한 연구)

  • Autonomous equipment requires a large amount of data from various environments. However, it takes a lot of time and cost for an experiment in a real construction sites, which are difficulties in data collection and processing. Therefore, this study aims to develop a virtual environment for autonomous tower cranes technology development and validation. The authors defined automation functions and operation conditions of tower cranes with three performance criteria: operational design domain, object and event detection and response, and minimum functional conditions. Afterward, this study developed a virtual environment for learning and validation for autonomous functions such as recognition, decision making, and control using the Unity game engine. Validation was conducted by construction industry experts with a fidelity which is the representative matrix for virtual environment assessment. Through the virtual environment platform developed in this study, it will be possible to reduce the cost and time for data collection and technology development. Also, it is also expected to contribute to autonomous driving for not only tower cranes but also other construction equipment.

  • The results of VE (Value Engineering) analyses are highly feasible proposals that are produced by utilizing the experience and knowledge of professionals from a variety of fields. As such, the results of past similar projects can be useful in new projects. On this basis, it is vital to accumulate the historical data of the results on VE analyses performed at every stage, which are functions, ideas, and proposals. In this research, a data formational system for collecting this historic data was established by categorizing 'Item,' 'Function,' 'Idea,' and 'Proposal' according to VE process, and the data retrieval and the adjusting process were proposed. If the historic data of these are accumulated using the suggested method, it is expected to be useful at the stage of VE process.

  • The national ground survey database (GeoInfo) distributes numerous ground survey data nationwide. Many standard penetration test results exist in this database; however, the number of shear wave velocity (VS) data is small. Hence, to use abundant standard penetration test-N values to predict VS, this study proposed a new empirical N-VS relationship model using GeoInfo data. The proposed N-VS model is a single equation regardless of geological layer types; the layer type only specifies the upper limit of VS. To validate the proposed model, residual analysis was performed using a test dataset that was not used for the model development. Therefore, this study's proposed model performed better than N-VS models from previous studies. Since the N-VS model in this study was developed using sufficient data from GeoInfo, we expect that it is the most applicable to GeoInfo dataset for VS prediction.

  • Recently, the harbor function is being reconsidered with the viewpoint of logistics, and various efforts are given to enhance the harbor performance agglomerating all procedures of stevedoring, treatment and background transportation of freight. The harbor performance largely depends on the efficient combination of the engineering part of harbor construction and the forthcoming logistics part. It may thus be anticipated in the future that the design concept of harbor construction will be transferred to a comprehensive consideration integrating both engineering and logistics parts to maximize the ultimate harbor operational performance. In the present study, various indicators for assessing a modem container terminal performance are presented far the purpose of helping harbor engineers understand the fundamental logistics through container handling operations. The indicators are compared, analyzed and compiled, by referring to the practical cases of Busan and Gwangyang ports as an illustration.

  • Additive manufacturing (AM, also known as 3D printing) technology is digitalized technology, making it easy to predict and manage quality and also, have design freedom ability. With these advantages, AM technology is applied to various industries. In particular, a method of manufacturing buildings and infrastructure with AM technology is being proposed to the construction industry. However, the application of AM technology is restricted due to problems such as insufficient history and quality of technology, lack of construction management methods, and certification of manufacturing products. Therefore, the manufacture of architectural products is implemented with indirect AM technology. In particular, it manufactures formwork using AM and injecting building materials to implement the architectural product. In this study, hybrid type material extrusion AM is used to manufacture large-sized formwork and implement building products. Moreover, we identify factors that can predict productivity and economic feasibility in the additive manufacturing process. As a result, design optimization results are proposed to reduce the production cost and time of architecture buildings.

  • The structure of the machinery industry due to the 4th industrial revolution is changing from precision and durability to intelligent and smart machinery through sensing and interconnection(IoT). There is a growing need for research on prognostics and health management(PHM) that can prevent abnormalities in processing machines and accurately predict and diagnose conditions. PHM is a technology that monitors the condition of a mechanical system, diagnoses signs of failure, and predicts the remaining life of the object. In this study, the vibration generated during machining is measured and a classification algorithm for normal and fault signals is developed. Arbitrary fault signal is collected by changing the conditions of un stable supply cutting oil and fixing jig. The signal processing is performed to apply the measured signal to the learning model. The sampling rate is changed for high speed operation and performed machine learning using raw signal without FFT. The fault classification algorithm for 1D convolution neural network composed of 2 convolution layers is developed.

  • Commercial buildings are the mostly common ones to be constructed along with residential buildings. After economic inflation, So-called 'IMF era', construction market has been running low because of stagnancy of business activities and cost escalation, Thus the construction industry needs a study of higher productivity by means of using information infrastructure. To deliver a database of commercial buildings construction record, their major management has carried out analysis for database components, in an attempt to meet users' needs. The scheme study of application presented cost and resource in construction lifecycle.

정보통신공사비지수 개발에 관한 연구

  • 정보통신공사의 공사비 산정은 그동안 원가계산 방식으로 이루어져 왔으나, 최근 들어 건설 및 전기분야에서와 같이 실적공사비를 활용할 수 있도록 제도 시행을 추진하고 있다. 그러나 실적공사비를 적용하기 위해서는 과거 공사비 실적자료를 현가화 할 수 있는 지수의 개발이 전제되어야 함에도, 그동안 정보통신공사는 한국건설기술연구원의 통신공사비지수(기타 특수건설의 최하위지수)나 한국은행의 생산지물가지수를 이용할 수밖에 없는 한계를 지니고 있었다. 이에 본 연구에서는 실적적산 데이터를 기반으로 정보통신공사의 특성을 고려한 정보통신공사비지수를 제시하고자 한다. 개발된 지수는 실적공사비 자료의 현가화 뿐 아니라, 물가변동에 따른 계약단가 조정(Escalation), 정보통신분야의 거시적인 동향을 파악할 수 있는 주요 지표로 정보통신공사의 사업비산정 및 관련 분야의 기초자료로 활용될 수 있다.

  • For the sustainable development of the domestic construction project management field, each CM company should try to diversify in terms of service contract types and scope of work while having internationally competitive technical and service capabilities as follows. First, from the initiation of the service to the completion, the CMr should be able to establish and execute a plan to create specific outcomes. Second, CMr must have the capability to produce weekly or monthly cost, schedule, risk, and scope management reports. In addition, it should be possible to apply the cost plus sliding fee method or to systematically and continuously accumulate and process data generated during the construction process.
