The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of SNS addiction tendency, pathological narcissism, social support, and stress among university students. Data were collected via questionnaires from 385 students and were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe's test, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and Stepwise multiple regression analysis using SPSS/WIN 19.0 program. The levels of SNS addiction tendency depended on gender, SNS usage time, SNS over-usage, health problem, and household economic status. SNS addiction tendency was significantly correlated with pathological narcissism, social support, and stress. Influential factors that affect SNS addiction tendency were pathological narcissism, SNS usage time, SNS over-usage, gender, social support, and academic performance, which explained about 39.4% of the variance. The results of this study indicate that nursing interventions are necessary to improve SNS addiction tendency, and also suggesting that such variables should be carefully considered in intervention programs for university students.
The purpose of this study is to examine the trajectories of multi-dimensional poverty in the process of transitioning from middle age to old age, and to identify the factors that influence them. Using the Korea Welfare Panel Data(2006 ~ 2018), we examined the trajectory of changes in multi-dimensional poverty for 13 years by prospective elderly and middle aged group aged 55 or older in 2006 through the potential growth model. Multidimensional poverty is divided into seven dimensions in four areas: economy (income, employment), environment (residential), health, social culture (leisure, family relations, and social relations). The results showed that the level of multi-dimensional poverty decreased with time, and the overall poverty level was higher than that of the pre-old and the average. As a result of analyzing the condition model with the independent variable, the variables affecting poverty change were found in the order of spouse free and educational level for the elderly and gender and education level for the elderly. In other words, multi-dimensional poverty is gradually improving, but the rate of change and the variables that affect each age group are different.
This study is for the analysis of the influence that the factors(communication, domestic life, offensive action, economic problem) of marital conflicts of old age and ecological systems factors(individual, family, sociality) have a impact to the divorce of elderly(thoughts and attempts of divorce) and the impulse to commit a crime(violence, egoism, running away from home). The guinea pigs is 350 married people of ages greater than 55 in the capital area. The 338 collected data excluding incomplete 12 data were analyzed. Statistical methods used in this study were factor analysis, frequency analysis, reliability analysis, t-test, ANOVA, Hiearchical regression analysis and Scheffe test with SPSS 18.0. The result are as follows. First, the marital conflict and ecological systems have a severe impact to the divorce of elderly, the more the conflict of the domestic life and the offensive action, the conflict in communicative and economic problem are getting higher. Second, the marital conflict and ecological systems have a severe impact to the impulse to commit a crime, the more the conflict of a domestic life and the conflict caused by spouse's attack, the economic problem, the egotistic impulse are getting higher. Third, there are some statistically similar differences of all the parts(sex, academic ability, job, children coresidence, religion, physical condition, monthly average income) in the marital conflict by characteristic of sociology of population, ecological systems, the divorce of elderly and the impulse to commit a crime.
Along with the recent increase in national income, social phenomena such as aging due to a decrease in population and an increase in single households are observed. There are also an increasing number of households raising pets in proportion to aging households and the increase in the number of single households, most of which use animal companions to overcome loneliness and boost domestic vitality. As more and more people consider pets as family members, the size of the domestic pet market is also growing. The growing number of pets in older households and single households is not properly managed by care such as food meals and exercise management for pets. It is necessary to research and develop robots that can monitor animal companions remotely, feed a certain amount of food at regular intervals, and manage their health through exercise. Among pet companions, dog selection is the highest. Therefore, this study identified robot research on driving methods, examples of existing pet care systems, and researched pet care robots using obstacle avoidance algorithms. In order to use the snack pay behavior and obstacle avoidance algorithm of the pet animals by applying IoT and we .oPI technology, it is able to use ultrasonic sensors on the front and has four infrared sensors on the back. However, this study does not reflect the characteristics of other pet animals as a study on pet care robots, and it requires continuous observation and testing.
The purpose of this study is to understand the current state of the older people's social exclusion by identifying patterns of the change in social exclusion level through a longitudinal analysis with an aim of exploring the predictors of changes. To this end, this study has adopted the panel data, the English longitudinal Study of Ageing(ELSA). The data of 7631 respondents who aged over 50 were used for the final analysis. The social exclusion of the older people was analyzed into five different sub-dimensions: social relationship; cultural activities; access to health services; financial security; and sense of loneliness. The person-centered approach that focuses on the various patterns of the trajectories of change has used semi-parametric group based model in order to estimate different trajectories among individuals. The data was analyzed using Spss 18.0 and SAS 9.2 proc traj. In results, First, semi-parametric group-based model analysis has shown that the older people are not 'homogeneous' group with similar exclusion level in every individual with same trajectories of change, but can be divided into various categories with diverse intercept and slope. Second, different trajectories in change of exclusion level help to confirm that the older people's social exclusion level increases gradually over time or remains unchanged. Third, this analysis has provided the useful guidelines to identify the high-risk groups of social exclusion. Forth, the variables that make difference in more than three dimensions include gender, age, self-perceived health, physical activity, weekly income, marital status, family relation, and beneficiary status. Implications and further suggestion were discussed.
The purpose of this study was to investigate state-anxiety, dyadic adjustment and pregnancy stress in pregnant women and to identify factors influencing pregnancy stress. Data were collected 158 pregnant women. Data were analyzed using t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe's test, Pearson's correlation coefficient, stepwise regression analysis. There was statistically significant difference in state-anxiety on variable such as age. There were statistically significant difference in dyadic adjustment on variables such as education, religion, income. There was not statistically significant difference in pregnancy stress on variables. Pregnancy stress was positively correlated with state-anxiety. Pregnancy stress was negatively correlated with dyadic adjustment. State-anxiety was negatively correlated with dyadic adjustment. Factor influencing pregnancy stress was state-anxiety, which explained 25.1%. Findings provide useful information for further studies in pregnancy stress of pregnant women. Therefore, to reduce pregnancy stress of pregnant women, it is necessary to standardized nursing intervention program.

The purpose of this study is to develop and validate the parental roles and responsibilities for young children. A survey was conducted on 301 parents with children attending preschools. The parental roles and responsibilities scale were determined from a total of 60 items and 11 sub-factors based on the criteria for goodness, validity, and reliability of items (i.e., factor load ≥ 0.5; AVE ≥ 0.5; CR ≥ 0.7; Cronbach's alpha ≥ 0.7). The parental roles and responsibilities scale include 'hygiene management' (4 items), 'physical activities' (6 items), 'survival and health care' (6 items), 'cognitive development' (5 items), 'emotional stability' (5 items), 'social skills' (6 items), 'social norms and values' (7 items), 'physical environment' (5 items), 'protection' (5 items), 'family community consciousness and family tradition' (4 items), and 'the role and responsibility of parents for childcare institutions' (7 items). It is significant that the indicators on the parental roles and responsibilities for young children were developed and verified to fit the situation in Korea. Findings will help identify the characteristics of parental role responsibilities and serve as a basis for efficient communication between parents and preschoolers.parental role responsibilities and serve as a basis for efficient communication between parents and preschools.

Purpose: This study was undertaken to examine the perception of Korean consumers regarding soybean meat. Using the Dietary Identify Questionnaire (DIQ), the data obtained were analyzed to identify various factors related to a plant-based diet. Methods: A consumer survey was conducted from June 1st to 30th, 2021, targeting 260 Korean consumers over the age of 20 years. Subjects were asked to answer six questions related to the perception of soybean meat. Of the 52 items present in the DIQ, 33 items were verified and reconstructed. All data were analyzed using the SPSS statistics (ver.25). Results: The subjects were divided into two groups, 'passive consuming group' and 'active consuming group', based on their perception of soybean meat. Demographic analysis according to the perception of soybean meat showed significant differences in age, marital status, academic background, and family members. The DIQ was categorized into 7 types: prosocial motivation, out-group regard, centrality, public regard, personal motivation, strictness, and private regard. Comparing by perception about soybean meat, significant differences were obtained between both groups for 'prosocial motivation (p < 0.01)', 'centrality (p < 0.01)', 'private norm (p < 0.05)', and 'personal motivation (p < 0.001)'. The 'passive consuming group' showed relatively low scores in all 4 factors. Conclusion: In the future, the results of this study can be applied to define the meaning of vegan in Korea. We believe our results will provide basic marketing data for the plant-based meat market. This will help expand the soybean meat market for a sustainable life for consumers, which is based on various needs such as health and the environment.
This study aims to identify the multiple trajectories of depressive symptoms and the characteristics of each trajectory group among the elderly. This study uses five waves of longitudinal data from the Korean Welfare Panel Study (KWPS, 2006-2010). Subjects were older adults aged 60 and over who had completed at least three waves between 2006 and 2010. A total of 4,181 respondents were analyzed. The latent growth mixture model and the multiple logistic regression model were mainly used for data analysis. The major findings were as follows: After controlling for the variables of gender, age, education, marital status, self-assessed health, and poverty, this study identified four different trajectory classes: stable low depressive symptoms (71.8%), high but decreased depressive symptoms (10.6%), moderate but increased depressive symptoms (7.9%), and an increased, then a decreased pattern of depressive symptoms (9.7%). The characteristics of theses trajectories as compared to previous studies were a lower percentage of 'stable low depressive symptoms', no 'persistently high depressive symptoms', and higher level of depressive symptoms. Also, the elderly in the stable low trajectory group had better health status, higher self-esteem and a good relationship with family members, having longer working periods, and more living in non-poverty. In addition, chronic health problems, loss of spouse, and household income differentiated the increased and then decreased pattern from the low stable pattern. Also, age and public pension differentiated the moderated but increased pattern from the low stable pattern. Based on the findings of this study, the researchers suggested political and practical implications for reducing depressive symptoms in later life.
