A Study on Residential Furniture Layout Preference Characteristics with the Personal Types (거주자의 성격유형별 가구배치의 선호특성에 관한 연구)

  • With the development of cognitive science and environmental psychology, there have been growing researches and discussions on the relationship between the residential design preferences and personality types. MBTI personality types have been earning popular credibility. MBTI means Myers-Briggs Type Indicator. It is based on Carl Jung's theory of psychological type. This study is based on Myers-Briggs theory to explain residential furnishing preference and explores the relationship between the four bi-polar personality types-Extroversion/Introversion, Sensing/Intuition, Thinking/Perceiving and residential furnishing preference. These tests were conducted to two hundred and twelve adult residents who live in Seoul, Korea. These tests were analyzed several significances by Chi-Square with SPSS for windows software. (E) Extroverted residents prefer layouts for interaction with guests. (I) Introverted residents prefer centripetal layout around the bed. (S) Sensing residents prefer practical and functional layouts. (N) Intuitive residents prefer personal and conceiving layouts. (T) Thinking residents prefer for attribute of space. (F) Feeling residents for familiar conversation. (J) Judging residents prefer systematic and complete layouts. (P) Perceiving residents prefer adaptable and flexible layouts. In conclusion, personality types can have a determining role in preference of residential furnishing layouts. This study suggests that residential designers should take into account clients' personality types prefer effective designing and should provide a variety of alternatives reflecting clients' preferences. This will promote clients' pleasantness and satisfaction in dwelling at home.

  • The trend toward more welfare living because of more leisure time has influenced the popularity of the community facilities in apartment housing. According to the residents' increasing interests for well-being life the changes and developments of the community facilities have been required in these days. The purpose of this research is to study these required changes and developments by analyzing the resident's using behavior of community facilities in apartment housing focusing on the educational and cultural facilities. For this purpose, this research intends to examine the existing conditions and problems of educational and cultural community facilities in apartment housing and to analyze the residents' using patterns such as frequency, preference and to comprehend the additional needs and requirements of the residents. The conclusions and suggestions of this research can be a basic data for the architects to design a resident-oriented educational and cultural community facilities.

경기순환과 주식시장에서의 투자관련 실증분석

  • 이 논문은 주식투자 결정과 도박(gamble)의 심리가 상호 연관성이 있는가와 관련된 것이다. 집계변수(aggregated level)에서 경기가 불황일 때, 개인투자가들은 직접 복권(lottery tickets)을 구입하거나 복권과 같이 일확천금을 누릴 수 있는 동시에 위험성(risk)을 수반하는 주식을 선호하는 경향이 있다. 즉 경기가 불황에 놓일 경우에는 개인투자가들은 이러한 복권형(lottery-type) 주식과 복권(lottery)의 구매 및 보유를 늘리는 경향이 있다는 것이다. 특히 이러한 경향은 저소득 계층(low-income investors)과 청년, 교육의 혜택을 덜 받은 부류의 독신자, 대도시 거주자, 미국의 경우 흑인(African-American)과 히스패닉 등의 사회적 약자 등으로 알려지고 있다. 이러한 일반적인 경우가 데이터를 통해 알아볼 수 있는 지와 관련하여 실증분석 하였다. 하지만 이 분석을 통하여 개인투자가들이 경기불황일 때 위험한(risky) 주식의 보유 경향을 늘린다는 가정을 지지할 수 있는 결과를 도출하지 못하였다.

  • This study is focused on Resider's Preference of Residential Space to improve Residence Unit Plan. Three Rental Housing Complexes in Jeju which supplied by Korea National Housing Corporation(KNHC) were selected for more detailed Resider's Preference research, which were constructed within 5years. Questionnaire of Total 360 sheets were distributed for each Rental Housing Complexes and total 299 sheets were returned. The results of research are as the followings. Generally satisfaction of environment and living area of home is not high. And also it seem that many residers want to live in housing of average 25.87 pyeong in housing scale. In view and direction of housing Especially, many residers tend to select housing that view is better than direction. With based on like this results, it is proposed housing plan's develop and political supports reflected Jeju's culture condition, life style, climate and so on.

  • The brand value of apartment which affects not only sale percent and profit but also the worth of real estate is raised as an important point of sale competition in the apartment market. But now the market is occupied by a few construction companies, which have well recognized brand. So it's difficult for a construction company without brand to enter the apartment market because of consumer's ignorance. domestic construction companies are spending lots of money and effort to advertise their characteristic brandapartment based on classified consumer's desire and offer consumers what they want. Therefor, This study investigated the factors of recently characteristic brandapartment focusing on design, environment, materials, home automation and surveyed residents preference of a brand by P.O.E methods. Based on such results of survey, this study suggest the basically reference information on characteristic strategy of an brandapartment.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop furniture design for the apartment based on the market research of furniture and interior design, and the survey on the design preference of hte apartment residents. The apartment furniture in living rooms, bed rooms and kitchens are designed according to the design concepts of preference image of apartment sizes: that of mid-size apartment(34pyung type) is Natural Modern image, large-size(59pyung type) is Korean Modern image, and extra large-size(81pyung type) is Classic Modern image. The living furniture is designed smaller in order to use the space flexibly, and the built-in furniture of bed rooms is designed simply like the wall of a room to be felt larger, basically. The furniture in kitchen is composed of the storage zone by high cabinets and the display zone by open shelves.

  • 주택내에서 사용되고 있는 기존의 에너지 사용량 관리 시스템의 경우는 단순한 전기 에너지 관리 시스템이기 때문에 현재와 같이 에너지를 사용하는 가전 정보기기의 증가 및 사용자 요구사항을 반영하기에는 매우 미흡하였다. 또한 최근 에너지 고갈에 대한 우려로 인해 에너지 수급 불안 및 유가 급등 등으로 국가 경쟁력 확보 차원에서 주택 내 에너지 절감 기술에 대한 필요성이 함께 증가하고 있기 때문에 기존의 방식처럼 해당 기기를 통해 전력 사용량을 모니터링 하거나 단순 제어하는 방식에서 벗어나 거주자의 기능성과 편리성을 유지하면서 주택 내의 에너지를 효율적으로 절감하기 위한 지능적 제어 방법을 제안하고자 한다.

  • 현재 출산률 저하와 고령화로 인해 독거노인가구는 급격하게 증가하고 있으며 독거노인 고독사와 같은 사회문제가 증가하고 있다. 이를 해결하기 위하여 1990년대에 '실버타운'이 들어섰으나 여러 문제들이 대두되면서 보다 발전된 형태의 노인주거시설이 필요해졌다. 이에 기존 실버타운의 단점을 보완한 시니어 코하우징이라는 신진화된 대안의 새로운 주거형태가 등장했으며, 수요자들에게 각광받고 있다. 본 연구는 시니어 코하우징 트렌드 분석에 대한 연구이다. 시니어 코하우징과 실버타운의 개념 및 특징을 이론적으로 고찰하며, 문헌 조사와 국내외 시니어 코하우징 사례조사를 통해 시니어 코하우징의 방향성을 분석하였다. 본 연구는 시니어 코하우징을 단순히 거주자 선호에 의한 주거양식이 아닌 미래사회를 위한 새로운 주거 대안으로서 인식할 필요성 고찰과 아직은 도입단계에 있는 시니어 코하우징의 활성화를 위해서 한국의 상황에 적합한 시니어 코하우징의 유형에 대한 기초 연구로서 의의가 있다.

Demand Forecasts Analysis of Electric Vehicles for Apartment in 2020 (2020년 아파트의 전기자동차 수요예측 분석 연구)

  • The world has been replacing fast fossil fuels vehicles with electric vehicles(EVs) to cope with climate change. The government set a goal which EVs will be substitute at least 10% of the domestic small vehicles with EVs until 2020, and will try to build electric charging infrastructures in apartments with the revision the law of 'the housing construction standards'. In apartments the EVs charging infrastructure and parking space is, essential to accomplish the goal. But the studies on EVs demand are few. In this study, we predicted that the demand for EVs using time-series analysis of statistical data, survey results for apartments residents in the metropolitan area. As a result, the ratio of the EVs appeared to be 6~21% for the total vehicles in a rental apartments for the years 2020, 21~39% in apartments for sales. For the EVs, the maximum power required for 1,000 households in rental apartment is predicted to be about 4200 kwh on a daily basis, while the maximum power in the apartment for sales is predicted to be 7800kwh.
