High School Teachers' and Students' Perceptions on the Purpose of Science Learning based on the Semantic Network Analysis (언어네트워크분석에 기초한 과학학습의 목적에 대한 고등학교 교사와 학생들의 인식)

  • This study aims to investigate how high school teachers and students perceive the purpose of science learning. Participants were high school science teachers and students from one hundred and sixty high schools nationwide, which were selected through proportional stratified sampling method. Teachers and students responded on open-ended questionnaires about the purpose of science learning. The data were analyzed using the semantic network analysis method. Our study illustrates three major finding: First, teachers recognized the intrinsic value related to cognitive domain as the more important purpose of science learning, while students recognized the extrinsic value related to personal usefulness domain as more important. Second, teachers' responses were significantly different depending on the teaching career. Beginning teachers believed both intrinsic and extrinsic values were equally important, while experienced teachers believed the cognitive domain about understanding of scientific knowledge was more important than intrinsic values. In other words, the differences in perception of the purpose of science between teachers and students, the experienced teachers is greater than the beginning teachers. Finally, students' responses were different depending on their academic track. Humanity major students recognized that learning science made their everyday-life easier while science major students recognized that learning science should be related to their future careers. In conclusion, the results of this study is expected to be of use as the basic data to identify the characteristic of teachers and students related to science.

Analyzing the Study Trends of 'Sense of Place' Using Text Mining Techniques (텍스트마이닝 기법을 활용한 국내외 장소성 관련 연구동향 분석)

  • Main Path Analysis (MPA) is one of the text mining techniques that extracts the core literature that contributes knowledge transfer based on citation information in the literature. This study applied various text mining techniques to abstract of the paper related with sense-of-place, which is published at Korea and abroad from 1990 to 2018 so that could discuss in a macro perspective. The main path analysis results showed that from 1990, overseas research on sense-of-place has been carried out in the order of personal identity, public land management, environmental education and urban development-related areas. Also, by using the network analysis, this study found that sense-of-place was discussed at various levels in Korea, including urban development, culture, literature, and history. On the other hand, it has been found that there are few topic changes in international studies, and that discussions on health, identity, landscape and urban development have been going on steadily since the 1990s. This study has implications that it presents a new perspective of grasping the overall flow of relevant research.

A Blockchain Network Construction Tool and its Electronic Voting Application Case (블록체인 자동화도구 개발과 전자투표 적용사례)

  • Construction of a blockchain network needs a cumbersome and time consuming activity. To overcome these limitations, global IT companies such as Microsoft are providing cloud-based blockchain services. In this paper, we propose a blockchain-based construction and management tool that enables blockchain developers, blockchain operators, and enterprises to deploy blockchain more comfortably in their infrastructure. This tool is implemented using Hyperledger Fabric, one of the famous private blockchain platforms, and Ansible, an open-source IT automation engine that supports network-wide deployment. Instead of complex and repetitive text commands, the tool provides a user-friendly web dashboard interface that allows users to seamlessly set up, deploy and interact with a blockchain network. With this proposed solution, blockchain developers, operators, and blockchain researchers can more easily build blockchain infrastructure, saving time and cost. To verify the usefulness and convenience of the proposed tool, a blockchain network that conducts electronic voting was built and tested. The construction of a blockchain network, which consists of writing more than 10 setting files and executing commands over hundreds of lines, can be replaced with simple input and click operations in the graphical user interface, saving user convenience and time. The proposed blockchain tool will be used to build trust data infrastructure in various fields such as food safety supply chain construction in the future.

A Study of the Curriculum Operating Model and Standard Courses for Library & Information Science in Korea (한국문헌정보학 교과과정 운영모형 및 표준교과목 개발에 관한 연구)

  • This study seeks to develop a curriculum operating model for Korean Library and Information Science, based on investigations into LIS curricula at home and abroad. Standard courses that can be applied to this model were also proposed. This study comprehensively analyzed the contents of domestic and foreign curricula and surveyed current librarians in all types of library fields. As a result, this study proposed required courses, core courses, and elective courses. Six required LIS courses are: Introduction to Library and Information Science, Information Organization, Information Services, Library and Information Center Management, Information Retrieval, and Field Work. Six core LIS courses are: Classification & Cataloging Practice, Subject Information Resources, Collection Development, Digital Library, Introduction to Bibliography, and Introduction to Archive Management. Twenty selective LIS courses include: the General Library and Information Science area (Cultural History of Information, Information Society and Library, Library and Copyright, Research Methods in Library and Information Science), the Information Organization area (Metadata Fundamentals, KORMARC Practice), the Information Services area (Information Literacy Instruction, Reading Guidance, Information User Study), the Library and Information Center Management area (Library Management, including management for different kinds of libraries, Library Information Cooperator, Library Marketing, Non-book Material and Multimedia Management (Contents Management), the Information Science area (Database Management, including Web DB Management, Indexing and Abstracting, Introduction to Information Science, Understanding Information Science, Automated System of Library, Library Information Network), and the Archival Science area (Preservation Management).

  • 미래의 교육은 전통적인 면대면 방식으로 이루어지는 오프라인 학습과 컴퓨터와 네트워크를 활용한 온라인 학습이 통합적으로 이루어지는 학습체계 속에서 교과서의 지식을 학생들에게 전달하는 방식의 기존 교육과는 매우 다른 모습을 보일 것이고, 학습자 중심의 개인별 맞춤식 교육을 지향하고, 원활한 의사소통 방법을 이용하여 협력 중심의 활동을 강조할 것이다. 이에 교육현장에서는 다양한 이론과 연구를 통해 교수 학습방법 개선하고, 기초 기본 학력 신장에 끝없는 노력을 기울여 왔다. 하지만 이처럼 부단한 노력에도 불구하고 기초 기본 학력의 성취 수준이 부족한 학생은 여전히 대부분의 학급에서 많이 존재하고 있다. 때문에 학생들의 학력과 교사의 지도방법을 신뢰하지 못하는 학부모들은 자녀들을 어릴 때부터 사교육으로 내몰고 있는 것이 우리 교육의 현실이다. 이러한 현실에 공교육을 보완하기위해 등장한 사이버가정학습이 그 취지에 맞게 공교육울 내실화하여 학부모와 학생들에게 신뢰성을 회복한다면 사교육비 경감 효과와 더불어 제대로 된 학교 교육의 정체성을 확보하게 될 것이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 블렌디드 학습모형의 하나인 온라인 보충학습 결합모형을 적용하여 학생들에게 학습에 대한 흥미와 지적 호기심을 자극함으로써, 기초 기본학습의 내실화가 이루어져 결과적으로 학생들의 기초 기본학력이 신장되었음을 확인하였다.

  • Defining of signage market types is an issue of great interest for both service providers and consumers. Through an interview with an expert with a deep understanding about digital signage in early-media stage, and based on analysis results, this study induced three types of signage market types. Each signage market type can be explained by their similar thoughts, opinions, concepts, and behaviors, but are dependent on the differences in a user experiences and knowledge. The study named the interactive signage market as Type 1, the network signage market as Type 2, and the signage-coupled-with-other-media market as Type 3.

정보보안정책, 보안통제 및 사용자특성이 정보보안효과에 미치는 영향: 컴퓨터 바이러스를 중심으로

  • 오늘날 정보화의 급진전에 따른 PC의 광범위한 보급과 네트워크의 확산은 컴퓨터 바이러 스와 관련된 역기능을 심각하게 형성하는 계기가 되었다. 더욱이 컴퓨터 바이러스 개발기술의 발전에 따라 신종 바이러스가 더욱 기술적으로 정교해지고, 다양한 변종이 출현함에 따라 바이러스 대응 소프트웨어를 설치하는 것만으로는 효과적으로 대처할 수 없다는 문제가 제 제기 되었다. 조작의 정보보안을 위해 전반적인 관리적 차원에서 바이러스를 효과적으로 통제할 수 있도록 여러 가지 요인들을 고려해야 한다. 이를 위해 조직의 정보자원의 관리 방향을 제시하고 있는 보안정책이 강조되어야 함은 물론이며, 전체적인 관점에서 정보시스템에 대한 보안을 강화하기 위하여 정보 기술에 대한 부적절한 활용을 통제하고, 사용자 측면에서 감염 확산의 차단 및 재발을 효과적으로 억제할 수 있어야 한다. 이에 따라 본 연구에서는 직접적인 컴퓨터 바이러스 통제를 위해 관리적 측면에서 요인들을 강조하고, 사용자의 시스템 관련 지식 및 인지적 특성 등의 개인적 특성을 반영하여 보안효과를 평가할 수 있도록 연구모형을 구성하였다. 구조방정식 모형에 의한 실증분석 결과에 의하면 조직내 보안정책이 바이러스 통제의 수준에 영향을 미치며, 사용자의 컴퓨터 바이러스 관련 보안인식을 향상시킬 수 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 보안통제는 보안효과에 긍정적인 영향을 미치지만 사용자의 정보보안 관련 특성은 보안효과에 영향을 미치지는 않는 것으로 분석되었다.

  • 데이터 마이닝을 통해 우리는 숨겨진 지식, 예상되지 않았던 경향 그리고 새로운 법칙들을 방대한 데이터에서 이끌어내고자 한다. 본 논문에서 우리는 사용자의 구매 패턴을 발견하여 사용자가 원하는 상품을 미리 예측하여 추천하는 알고리즘을 소개하고자 한다. 제안하고 있는 item dependency map은 구매된 상품간의 관계를 수식화 하여 행렬의 형태로 표현한 것이다. Item dependency map의 값은 사용자가 A라는 상품을 구매한 후 B상품을 살 확률이다. 이런 정보를 가지고 있는 item dependency map은 홉필드 네트윅(Hopfield network)에서 연상을 위한 패턴 값으로 적용된다. 홉필드 네트웍은 각 노드사이의 연결가중치에 기억하고자 하는 것들을 연상시킨 뒤 어떤 입력을 통해서 전체 네트워크가 어떤 평형상태에 도달하는 방식으로 작동되는 신경망 중의 하나이다. 홉필드 네트웍의 특징 중의 하나는 부분 정보로부터 전체 정보를 추출할 수 있는 것이다. 이러한 특징을 가지고 사용자들의 일반적인 구매패턴을 일부 정보만 가지고 예측할 수 있다. Item dependency map은 홉필드 네트윅에서 사용자들의 그룹별 패턴을 학습하는데 사용된다. 따라서 item dependency map이 얼마나 사용자 구매패턴에 대한 정보를 가지고 있는지에 따라 그 결과가 결정되는 것이다. 본 논문은 정확한 item dependency map을 계산해 내는 알고리즘을 주로 논의하겠다.

The Trends of Youth Research: 'Korean Journal of Youth Studies' in 2010-2018 (청소년 연구의 동향 : 2010년~2018년의 '청소년학연구'지를 중심으로)

  • This paper was intended to identify the knowledge structure of youth-related research by looking at the research trends of research papers published in Korean Journal of Youth Studies from 2010 to 2018. Using keywords extracted from the papers, the Centrality and Cohesion analysis of the keyword network analysis of the NetMiner program were used. In the analysis of degree centrality, the "relationship" was the highest, followed by schools and youth, and high in the order of parents and violence. In the analysis of betweenness centrality, the "relationship" was also the highest, followed by youth, school, need, education, parents, children, abuse/emotion(the same level), institutions, regions, cell phones/prevention/welfare(the same level), elementary, attachment, suicide, addiction, society, violence, children, services, support, policy/teachers(the same level). According to the cohesion analysis, school life and policy, addiction, parent & peer relations, civic education & welfare support, sentiment and thinking, college, abuse & suicide were divided into a total of seven sub-topic subjects.
