This study was an exploratory study for the development of a competency-based social welfare curriculum. This study was conducted through a literature review focused on guidelines for social welfare published by the KCSWE (Korean Council for Social Welfare Education). The purpose of this study was to explore social welfare professional competencies, subject goals, teaching methods, and the participatory learning environment for the development of a competency-based social welfare curriculum. The findings are as follows. First, each university had been researching professional competencies individually. Second, the social welfare subjects tended to include all elements of knowledge, skills, and attitudes, and these goals were matched with professional competencies set by each university. Third, the guidelines for social welfare subjects provided various teaching methods to achieve the goals of the subject as well as a participatory learning environment based on discussion. However, it was difficult to determine whether the various teaching methods were effective in achieving core and professional competencies. Therefore, it is necessary for KCSWE to set up a standardized competency-based curriculum and research professional competencies based on social welfare, a curriculum and subjects according to their competencies, effective teaching methods, and a method for evaluating educational outcomes.

Now, more than any other time, education experts in Korea are focusing on the importance of reading. Based on this circumstance. it is necessary to introduce and develop reading assessments in the library and information science. The research introduces reading assessment tools from a psychological standpoint for the purpose of increasing reading efficiency through literature reviews. There are four categories reading attitude, interest, motivation and perception on reading. Also the research presents the suggestion to make a new reading assessment tool at a later time. When developing reading assessment tools from a psychological standpoint, it is necessary to establish the items through which how a student feels himself or herself as a reader, and subsequently how teachers, parents, and friends feel the student as a reader. Besides establishing of these appropriate items. a developer should provide directions for administration and interpretation.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop a guidebook for teachers about coping behavior education in emergency situations for elementary school students. Method: Dick and Carey's teaching model (1996) and Keller's ARCS theory (1985) was applied to develop this guidebook. Results: The contents consist of subjects, reference materials for teachers, a case study, and worksheets for students. The contents of the 5 units are as follows: 1)Identifying a dangerous situation around the school area and in school, 2)Coping tips in dangerous situations that can occur at school, 3)Prevention and coping method of sexual violence, 4)Coping method for natural disasters, and 5)First aid in emergency situations. The presented case study was a real case scenario and the worksheets contained various activities initiated by students. Conclusions: This guidebook can be an effective tool in coping education classes for emergency situations at elementary schools. The goal of the guideline book is reach as many elementary schools as possible.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop a guide book on safety education for teachers to use in education classes for elementary school students. Methods: Dick & Carey's teaching model and Keller's ARCS theory were used in the development of this guide book. Results: This guide book was developed for lower grade (1st$\sim$3rd) and higher grade (4th$\sim$6th) elementary school students. The content consisted of subjects, worksheets, content for teachers, statistical data, case studies, and a safety letter to the parents. The 10 subjects were as follows: "Importance of injury prevention", "Safety at home", "Accident prevention at school", "Violence prevention", "Vehicles safety", "Water safety", "Prevention of Fires & Burns", "Safety of Toys & home supplies", "Safety in Sports & Recreation activity", "Prevention of injury caused by animals". Statistical data was presented by graphs and case studies were presented of cases of real occurrences of accidents. Worksheets contain various activities for students. Safety letters were composed for each student's parents. Conclusion: This guide book presents effective material for safety education classes in elementary school and the authors hope it will be widely used in elementary schools.

General criteria for the quality of porous concrete have not been established yet in Korea. And yet, pavement and construction have been performed. In this paper, guidelines on the construction site quality control of porous concrete were developed in order to establish criteria for resolving the issues and problems of porous concrete, to establish methods for improving poor performance, and to manage porous concrete more systematically. In addition, a guide for the construction site quality control of porous concrete, which was appropriate for reality, was developed by researching several quality control guides and maintenance at construction sites. The guide consists of a total of nine chapters such as Application Range, Overview, the Structure of Porous Concrete, the Design of Package Thickness, Package Materials for Porous Concrete, Construction Methods, Quality Assurance and Inspections, Construction Site Quality Control, and Maintenance. It describes quality control guidelines in all steps such as methods for transporting porous concrete from the factory to the construction site, cautions for construction work at construction sites, maintenance, and management. The Guide for the Construction Site Quality Control of Porous Concrete is expected to ensure the quality of porous concrete, to reduce national costs for quality assurance, and to help ensure the health and safety of Korean people.

D 자동차가 새 자동차를 개발하는 과정에 스타일 디자인은 이태리에서, 샤시 설계는 영국에서, 파워트레인 설계는 독일에서 수행하였다고 한다. 글로벌 경영이나 현지 법인이라는 단어들도 이제는 낯설지 않은 용어들로 자리잡아 가고 있는 중이며, 앞으로는 리비아, 우즈베키스탄, 베네주엘라 등 전세계에 흩어져 있는 기업의 현장을 어떻게 운영해 나갈 것인지를 연구해야 할 것이다. 무역장벽을 극복하기 위해 설립하고 있는 현지의 공장들을 서울에 앉아서 가동시키는 방법 중에, 인터넷을 이용하는 방안이 CALS(Commerce At Light Speed 또는 Computer Aided Logistic Support)라고 할 수 있다. 이는 인터넷을 통해 기업의 무역거래 서류, 카탈로그, 설계도면, 사용자 지침서 등을 전자문서로 주고 받을 수 있게 하겠다는 생각에서 추진되고 있는 프로젝트이다.
