Dynamic Generation of Courseware in the Web-based ITS (웹 기반 ITS에서의 동적 코스웨어 생성)

  • 현재 웹 기반 교육시스템 (Web-based Educational System WES)은 웹이 플랫폼 독립적이라는 점과 장소와 시간에 대해 자유롭다는 점을 가지고 급성장하고 있으며, 활발히 연구되고 있는 분야이다. 초기의 WES 시스템들은 코스웨어의 정적인 구성과 상호작용성의 부족 등의 문제점들이 있었으나 최근에는 학습자 개개인의 능력에 따라 적응력 있는 학습을 제시하는 연구 방향과 기존 단독형 ITS에서 연구된 결과를 웹 기반으로 적용하려는 두 가지 연구방향으로 접근하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 기존 ITS의 연구결과를 웹 기반 시스템에 적용하여 보다 지능적이며, 적응력 있는 웹 기반 교육시스템을 목표로 이를 설계 및 구현하였다. 특히 시스템의 여러 모듈 중, 교수 계획기의 설계 및 구현을 설명한다. 또한, 교수 계획기는 학습의 효과를 상승시키기 위한 방안으로, 학습자가 학습상황을 시각적으로 선택 및 이해할 수 있게 도와줄 수 있는 curriculum map 개념으로 설계되었다.

  • 유선 네트워크 환경을 위해 디자인된 경로설정 프로토콜들은 대역폭의 제한성과 예측할 수 없는 토폴로지의 변화로 인해 ad-hoc 네트워크 환경에 적용하기에는 부적합하다. 최근 들어 ad-hoc 네트워크 환경에 적합한 경로설정 프로토콜들이 많이 개발되었다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 ad-hoc 경로설정 프로토콜을 토폴로지 변화에 대한 적응력을 향상시키기 위해서 GPS(Global Positioning System) 기술을 활용하여 가상 지역(virtual zone) 개념을 제안하고 있다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 프로토콜은 AODV(Ad-hoc On-demand Distance Vector) 경로설정 프로토콜을 기본으로 하고 있다. AODV의 경로설립(route discovery) 과정 시 이러한 가상 지역 개념을 도입함으로써 이동 단말의 이동성에 의한 토폴로지의 변화에도 불구하고 잘 적응할 수 있는 안정된 경로의 설립을 목표로 하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 시뮬레이션을 통하여 다양한 트래픽 상태와 단말들의 이동성 형태에 따른 중요 변수들을 설명하였으며 이에 따라 제안된 경로설정 프로토콜(AODV-GPS)의 효율성을 검증하고 있다.

A Study on the Effect of Cooperative Computer-Assisted Instruction by Previous Achievement Level (사전 성취 수준에 따른 협동적 컴퓨터 보조 수업의 효과)

  • In this study, the effect of cooperative computer-assisted instruction upon students' conceptual under-standing,application ability, and learning motivation were investigated by a previous achievement level. The treatment and the control groups (2 classes) were selected from a middle school in Seoul, and taught about the motion of molecule for 5 class periods. Prior to the instructions, a learning motivation test was administered and used as covariate. The scores of a previous achievement test were also used as covariate. The scores of the mid-term science examination were used as blocking variable. After the instructions, the conceptions test, the application test, and the learning motivation test were administered. Two-way ANCOVA results revealed that there were no significant differences in the scores of the con-ceptions test and the application test. However, the scores of the treatment group were found to be significantly higher than those of the control group in the learning motivation test.

  • This study proposes the Web-based GIS system based on distributed object management and conceptualise system architecture and its methods specifications through UML(unified modeling language). By using class diagram and creating prototype based on UML and reverse engineering, our conceptual shape file model is proposed to illustrate an integrated architecture. Through system analysis and software configuration management, this study enables to not only improve pliable capabilities for problematic domains and increase abilities for analytical domains when user requirements are dynamic, but also assist effective and consistent maintenances of large software systems.

  • In this paper, the graphic simulation system Is presented which supports the determination of efficient multi-robot motions during cooperation. For the construction of the simulation software for multi robot motions, two problems are described. First problem is that all the robot motions must be determined using both the desired object motions and the holonomic constraints with the object. To find the robot motions combined with the various object motion path, the robot motions are derived from the desired object path instead of a master robot path. There ore, robot motions can be easily modifiable with #he various object motions. This type of motion determination Is different from that of the master-slaves method using the master robot motions.

  • The routing protocols designed for wired networks can hardly be used for mobile ad-hoc networks due to limited bandwidth of wireless transmission and unpredictable topological change. Recently, several routing protocols for mobile ad-hoc networks have been Proposed. However, when theme protocols are applied to support real time services like multimedia transmission, they still have problems in ad-hoc networks, where the topology changes drastically. In this paper, we propose a new route selection algorithm which selects the most reliable route that is impervious to route failures by topological changes by mobile hoots. For reliable route selection, the concept of virtual zone (stable zone and caution zone) is proposed. The zone is located in a mobile node'transmission range and determined by mobile node's mobility information received by Global Positioning System (GPS). The proposed algorithm is applied to the route discovery procedure of the existing on-demand routing protocol, AODV, and evaluated by simulation in various traffic conditions and mobility patterns.

  • This study presents literature research on solitude and mental health in psychology as one of the problems in modern society. Solitude has been understood as a psychologically diverse concept. In psychology, solitude has been understood in a variety of ways: as a pathological phenomenon, a source of conflict in childhood, an expression of maladjustment, and a factor influencing current experiences. Solitude is an objective state of being alone without social interaction, while loneliness and privacy are subjective concepts, with loneliness indicating a need for the presence of others. On the contrary, the religious solitary is a solitary being before God. Isolation and sensory restriction, which humans voluntarily choose, is a cure for loneliness. Also, solitude is associated with positive well-being and healthy adaptability. Humans need to have inner freedom by turning loneliness into solitude. This suggests that loneliness can be overcome through solitude, and that positive thinking can overcome negativity, loneliness, and depression.

  • This thesis aims to study the space concept of the constructive mode in the work space of the postmodernism artists since 1970s. According to the changing view of the world artists, they are searching for the characteristics of having the parameter of formative organization on how they are related to the constructive system which represents the work styles. First, this study searches for the theoretical approaches of the constructive system and parameters that were studied by Le Corbusier - the module concept as the meaning of order system being used for the basic formative construction Second, when it is regarded as a formative construction in making art as the'principles of organization'(the law of living form), which was defined by Suzanne Langer in the formative theory as the organized structure shown in growth structure in mu and ecological system, the principles governing the module rules were arthmetically analysed art-work space through the dynamic symmetry of Jay Hambidge. Therefore, this study shows the principles working on the parameters for new formative organization as follows: First, the module in the work space should be designed and built from the dynamic symmetry. Second, the module should satisfy the human needs that it must be acceptable, efficient, flexible, which are the necessary and sufficient condition for the dynamic symmetry. Third, the dynamic symmetry which has the principle of Reciprocity and the principle of Complement as its primary construction principle has the common properties and the reciprocity in the construction of the work space and when it has the self similarity, it segments organically the total space without damaging the continuum.

A Review of Ecological Niche Theory from the Early 1900s to the Present (생태적 지위(Ecological Niche) 이론에 대한 검토 및 제언)

  • This study reviewed the change of theory of ecological niche(concepts and definitions) over time to provide a theoretical basis for habitat-related studies of animals and plants. Accordingly, it analyzed and summarized the major discussion trends of ecological niche worldwide in each period from the 1900s to the present. Countries advanced in ecological studies, such as the EU and the USA, have conducted theoretical and empirical studies on the ecological niche since the early 1990s. The concept of the ecological niche was introduced in the early 1900s, developed in the mid-1900s, and advanced from the mid-1900s to the late 1900s. Since the 2000s, the advanced concept has diversified with new developments in technologies and research methods. The factors suggested by theoretical and empirical studies in defining the ecological niche of a species include 1) population dynamics of the target species, 2) all biotic conditions to sustain a population (food relationship and material flow in the food chain), 3) all non-biotic conditions to sustain a population (physical environmental conditions), 4) all direct and indirect interactions between these environmental factors, and 5) response and adaptation mechanisms that include the migratory ability of the target species or genetic diversity and adaptability to change. Unlike such international advancement, there have not been sufficient theoretical, philosophical, and empirical studies of ecological niche in Korea. The concepts and definitions by Greennell, Elton, and Hutchinson were selectively and partially borrowed for empirical studies without full description. Considering that the theory of ecological niche becomes the foundation for habitat-based species conservation and restoration, it is necessary to seek diversification and advancement of theoretical and empirical research and research methods and technological development. It will provide an important foundation for the academic advancement of ecology and for establishing and implementing policies to preserve and restore ecology and biodiversity effectively and successfully in Korea.

Validation of the Korean Version of the Student Career Construct Inventory(K-SCCI) (한국판 학생진로구성검사 타당화 연구)

  • This study verified the reliability and validity of the Korean version of the Student Career Construct Inventory(K-SCCI) that was translated into Korean language from the Student Career Construct Inventory (SCCI) developed by Savickas et al.(2018). To achieve this, this study conducted item content analysis, exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, and criterion-related validity in 530 university students. As a result of item content analysis and exploratory factor analysis, it was found that 4 factor models and 18 items were the most appropriate in K-SCCI. The 4 factors were named as crystallizing a vocational self-concept, exploring to gather information about occupations, deciding to commit to an occupational choic, and preparing to implement that choice. As a result of confirmatory factor analysis to verify the goodness-of-fit of the 4 factor models, it appeared to be appropriate. As a result of analyzing the correlation with related measures to verify the criterion-related validity of measures, it was found that student career construct was negatively correlated with employment anxiety but positively correlated with career adaptability.
