The Analysis of the Educational Objectives, Scientific Models and Cognitive Processes in Scientific Inquiry of the SNU Scientifically Gifted Student Program (서울대학교 과학 영재 프로그램의 학습 목표, 과학적 모형, 과학탐구의 인지 과정 분석)

  • We have analyzed the science-gifted educational program (year 2002) at the Seoul National University in terms of its educational objectives, scientific models, and cognitive processes in scientific inquiry in order to provide insights into developing and improving science-gifted educational program. We assumed the following items as important factors for teaching scientifically gifted students: higher-order thinking skills involving synthesis domain in the educational objectives, highly abstract nature and complexity in the scientific models, cognitive processes of planning experiments in the cognitive processes in scientific inquiry. According to the analyzed results, the program has the following characteristics: (1) the rates of both higher and lower-order thinking skill domain in the educational objectives are similarly high, but the rate of synthesis domain is relatively low; (2) in the case of the scientific models, the rate of the multiple concepts and/or processes model is relatively low, while the level of the abstractness is relatively on average (3) cognitive processes of authentic scientific inquiry is not thoroughly reflected in the scientific inquiry activities, and very few cognitive processes of planning experiments factor is reflected. Therefore, we conclude in the synthesis domain in the educational objectives, multiple concepts and/or processes model, and cognitive processes of planning experiments should be especially reflected more on the science-gifted educational program in order to serve the needs of scientifically gifted students.

  • 수자원 계획 및 관리 관점에 있어 수문모형은 중요한 도구 중 하나이며 모의의 신뢰성을 높이기 위하여 검정 및 보정 과정을 거친다. 이는 일반적으로 장기간의 과거 수문기상자료를 활용하며 자료가 정상성(stationarity)이라는 가정에 따라 매개변수를 산정한다. 그러나 최근 기후변화 문제가 심화되며, 우리나라의 경우 여름철 호우의 강도 및 빈도가 증가할 것으로 전망되는 실정에서 수문 모형의 정상성을 가정한 매개변수 추정은 강우-유출 관계에 왜곡을 초래할 수 있다. 이러한 점에서 수문기상자료의 변동성을 고려한 수문모형의 검정 및 보정기법이 필요할 것으로 판단된다. 본 연구에서는 개념적 강우-유출 모형을 활용하여 산정된 소양강댐의 기존 매개변수와 수문기상자료의 경향성을 비교하여 모형의 적합성 향상 및 다양한 매개변수 산정 방식을 제공하고자 한다. 이를 위해 전역최적화 기법(global optimization method)을 도입하여 매개변수 추정시 발생하는 불확실성을 정량화하였고 동적 기후 예측 매개변수(dynamic climate predictors)를 활용하여 최적화를 수행하였다. 교차검증을 통하여 기존의 매개변수 추정 절차와 비교 검토를 수행하였다.

A concept analysis of high-risk pregnant nursing: Using hybrid model (하이브리드 모형을 이용한 고위험 임부 간호의 개념 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify and clarify the concept of high-risk pregnant nursing. This study used Schwartz-Barcott & Kim's hybrid model to identify the main attributes and indicators. In the fieldwork stage, data were collected in Seoul. The participants were 10 nurses working in the who performed direct nursing care for high risk pregnant women in the high risk ward for more than 5 years. The concept of high-risk pregnant nursing was found to have 5 attributes and 37 indicators in 3 dimensions. The concept analysis high-risk pregnant nursing in this study could provide guidelines for high-risk pregnant nursing and lay a theoretical foundation.support' nursing practice and be useful for research in the women's health field..

An Analysis of High School Students' Mental Models on the Plate Boundaries (판의 경계에 대한 고등학생들의 정신모형 분석)

  • The purpose of this study was to derive the criterions of each type of mental models on the plate boundaries and to investigate high school students' mental models on these concepts. The 11th grade student participants were requested to draw the collisional, convergent, and divergent boundaries and were interviewed individually. The drawings and the data gathered through the interviews were analyzed qualitatively. The mental models on the plate boundaries were classified as 'naive model', 'unstable model', 'causal model', and 'conceptual model'. The criterions for analyzing the mental models were the differentiations of the lithospheric plates and the mantle, the explanations of the motion of the plates and lower mantle, the demonstrations of topographical features of the plate boundaries and the causal relationships between the mantle convection and the topographical features. The findings revealed that the students holding 'the naive model' and 'the unstable model' were unable to relate the mantle convection and the three boundaries. In contrast, the students holding 'the causal model' and 'the conceptual model' were able to explain that the mantle convection causes the three boundaries. Also, the types of epistemological belief were different depending on their mental models. Students holding the naive model and the unstable model tended to rely upon the external authorities.

  • This Study proposes that a SoS(System of Systems) Conceptual Design Model which is developed for the SoS establishment, requirement and decision, utilizing SoS engineering and architecture methodology, and the Model performed with the Process Transition Map using subject matter expert survey. Establishing an Integrated Battle Experimentation System(IBES) for the future force development, the process product of IBES was conceptually designed using a SoS Conceptual Design Model.

  • 초등학생들은 통합된 멀티미디어를 제공하는 인터넷 게임에 대단한 관심을 갖고 있으며. 자연스럽게 네트워크 관련 용어(게임서버, 인터넷 전송 서비스, 인터넷 속도 등) 및 인터넷상에서 일어나는 기술 현상에 대해서도 익숙해져 있다. 그러나 초등 컴퓨터 교과 내용은 도구 사용 기술로만 되어 있어 이러한 현상들에 대한 개념과 원리를 이해하기는 어렵다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 도구 학습이 아닌 인터넷의 기반인 네트워크 개념에 대한 교수학습을 문제중심 모형을 이용하여 설계하고 수업현장에 적용한다. 그 결과로 보다 더 원리와 개념 이해영역으로 초등 컴퓨터 교과 내용의 변화가 필요함을 보이고자 한다.

Reconceptualization of Brand Equity : Empirical Evidence (브랜드자산 형성과정의 재정립)

  • 본 연구는 기존 브랜드자산의 구성개념과 구성개념들 간의 관계 연구들을 비판적으로 검토하여 첫째, 브랜드자산의 구성개념을 재정립하여 브랜드자산을 구성하는 세부적 구성요소를 제시하고 둘째, 브랜드자산 형성과정에서 세부적 구성 요소들 간의 인과적 관계를 제시하고 셋째, 세부적 구성요소를 측정하기 위한 척도를 제시하며 넷째, 전략적 브랜드자산 구축 즉, 브랜드자산이 기업의 핵심전략으로 한 단계 더 성숙하기 위해서는 기업측면에서 어떠한 요인이 중요한가를 확인하고 이에 대한 이론적·실무적 시사점을 제시하고자 하였다. 본 연구에서는 브랜드자산이 기업성과에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다는 기존 연구들과 같은 견해를 가지나, 기업성과로 연결되기 위한 브랜드자산의 구성개념과 형성과정에 있어서 기존 연구의 의문점을 제기하고, 그에 따라 연구가설과 연구모형을 설정하였다. 연구모형과 연구가설을 검증하기 위하여 스포츠브랜드와 컴퓨터브랜드의 2가지 카테고리를 대상으로 설문을 배포하여 311부를 회수하였으나 불성실하게 응답한 3부를 제외하고 308부를 실증분석에 이용하였다. 연구결과 브랜드의 지각된 품질, 리더십, 인지와 연상과 브랜드자산의 관계에서 존중, 차별성, 만족, 전환장벽, 애호도가 중요한 매개적 역할을 하고 있음을 알 수 있었다.

Derivation of a Tank Model with a Conceptual Rainfall-Infiltration Process (개념적 강우-침투 과정을 고려한 탱크 모형의 유도)

  • This study derives an event-based tank model with a conceptual rainfall-infiltration process, modifying conventional tank models. The model comprises two serial tanks, one parallel tank and an infiltration regulating element. The infiltration process within the element is not represented as a function of only time, but as a function of soil moisture content for three possible cases owing to the relationship between rainfall intensity and infiltration capacity. This study considers the previous soil moisture condition of a watershed by using antecedent precipitation index. Six parameters of the model are identified by using the real coded genetic algorithm. The applicability and validity of the proposed model are assessed for the observed stormwater data from the research basin of the International Hydrological Program, the Pyeongchanggang River basin, Republic of Korea. The results computed streamflows show relatively good agreement with observed ones.

A Conceptual Soil Water Model of Catchment Water Balance: Which Hydrologic Components are Needed to Calibrate the Model? (유역 물수지 모의를 위한 개념적인 토양수분모형: 모형 보정에 필요한 수문성분 분석)

  • In this study a conceptual soil water model is proposed to simulate water balance at catchment scale. The model is based on the sequential separation of daily precipitation into surface runoff, wetting, vaporization, and percolation. The proposed model is calibrated by using three observation sets: empirically estimated annual vaporization, monthly wetting estimated by NRCS-CN method, and both of them. The model performance is evaluated to understand which hydrologic components for calibrating the model are needed. It is shown that both of annual vaporization and monthly wetting are indispensable hydrologic components to simulate reasonably precipitation partitioning.
