Robust Part-of-Speech Tagger using Statistical and Rule-based Approach (통계와 규칙을 이용한 강인한 품사 태거)

  • 품사 태깅은 자연 언어 처리의 가장 기본이 되는 부분으로 상위 자연 언어 처리 부분인 구문 분석, 의미 분석의 전처리로 사용되고, 독립된 응용으로 언어의 정보를 추출하거나 정보 검색 등의 응용에 사용되어 진다. 품사 태깅은 크게 통계에 기반한 방법, 규칙에 기반한 방법, 이 둘을 모두 이용하는 혼합형 방법 등으로 나누어 연구되고 있다. 포항공대 자연언어처리 연구실의 자연 언어 처리 엔진(SKOPE)의 품사 태깅 시스템 POSTAG는 미등록어 추정이 강화된 혼합형 품사 태깅 시스템이다 본 시스템은 형태소 분석기, 통계적 품사 태거, 에러 수정 규칙 후처리기로 구성되어 있다. 이들은 각각 단순히 직렬 연결되어 있는 것이 아니라 형태소 접속 테이블을 기준으로 분석 과정에서 형태소 접속 그래프를 생성하고 처리하면서 상호 밀접한 연관을 가진다. 그리고, 미등록어용 패턴사전에 의해 등록어와 동일한 방법으로 미등록어를 처리함으로써 효율적이고 강건한 품사 태깅을 한다. 한편, POSTAG에서 사용되는 태그세트와 한국전자통신연구원(ETRI)의 표준 태그세트 간에 양방향으로 태그세트 매핑을 함으로써, 표준 태그세트로 태깅된 코퍼스로부터 POSTAC를 위한 대용량 학습자료를 얻고 POSTAG에서 두 가지 태그세트로 품사 태깅 결과 출력이 가능하다. 본 시스템은 MATEC '99'에서 제공된 30000어절에 대하여 표준 태그세트로 출력한 결과 95%의 형태소단위 정확률을 보였으며, 태그세트 매핑을 제외한 POSTAG의 품사 태깅 결과 97%의 정확률을 보였다.

  • This paper attacked the unknown DoS which mixed a DoS attack, Worm and the Trojan horse which used IP Source Address Spoofing and Smurf through the SYN Flooding way that UDP, ICMP, Echo, TCP Syn packet operated. the applications that used TCP/UDP in VoIP service networks. Define necessity of a Dynamic Update Engine for a prevention, and measure Miss traffic at RT statistics of inbound and outbound parts in case of designs of an engine at IPS regarding an Self-learning module and a statistical attack spread. and design a logic engine module. Three engines judge attack grades (Attack Suspicious, Normal), and keep the most suitable filtering engine state through AND or OR algorithms at Footprint Lookup modules. A Real-Time Dynamic Engine and Filter updated protected VoIP service from DoS attacks, and strengthened Ubiquitous Security anger, and were turned out to be.

  • In the era of the 4th industrial revolution and convergence, various discussions and studies have been conducted to develop future social talents, and through this, the need for creative convergence talents is increasing. In line with the change to a software-oriented society, countries around the world are trying to strengthen SW education, but high school students' awareness of the necessity of information subject and SW education that is the center of convergence is insufficient. Therefore, opportunities for convergence of the information subject and various fields should be provided. In this study, information education was converged to the science exploration experiment subject to construct an educational program that can develop creative convergence, and a convergence class using physical computing were applied to high school students for 9 hours. As a result of the experiment, the recognition of SW education of the experimental group was improved, and it was confirmed that the learner's convergence literacy of the experimental group was statistically different from that of the control group that conducted the general science experiment class.

  • The goal of this study is to introduce the SW Edu-thon program designed to strengthen pre-service teachers' software teaching competencies and to report its outcomes. In order to achieve the goal, we have conducted a survey for twenty-two teams of two pre-service teachers who have participated in the regional pre-contest and selected for the best lesson plans. The survey consists of several sections including the level of SW competencies, learning motivations, educational outcomes, satisfaction toward the lecturers, mentors, educational programs, and management and operations. In addition, we have analyzed the mentors' progression reports written by the participating in-service teachers who have helped the pre-service teachers to develop and implement their SW lesson plans. The results of this study provide with the outcomes of the program and the future directions for operating the SW Edu-thon program.

  • Computer education currently executed at elementary schools showed problems of system of education curriculum, repetition, and lack of consistent system as a result of analyzing index for information and communication technology, education curriculum, and related literatures, and most of the education contents have difficulty to nurture logic thinking and problem-solving ability since they are composed mainly of software function learning. Concerning this issue, this study suggests an innovated computer education curriculum with reinforced information ethics field with computer principle, algorithm, and programming, in other words, a corrected and supplemented version of former content system based on computer science guidance cases of ACM education curriculum model of USA, computer education curriculum of state Tennessee, and information technology education curriculum of Great Britain judging that introduction of computer science factors are desperate to improve computer education curriculum in elementary schools.

  • This paper describes a one of HRD Program focus on ICT technology called TOPCIT as that companies and higher education providers voiced the need for a standardized, objective competency index that can reinforce the on-site competency of college students majoring in ICT/SW. And reduce the gap between the viewpoints of industrial and academic circles regarding the qualifications of a competent specialist in ICT field. For this reason, T.OPCIT developed and evaluated a performance-evaluation-centered test designed to diagnose and assess the competency of ICT specialists and SW developers critically needed to perform jobs on the professional frontier. This TOPCIT concept has been promoted not just in KOREA but in many ASEAN countries, e.g Thailand, Nepal, Bhutan, Philippines, Mongolia and Cambodia during the ICTD-USO Forum organised by ITU-ASP.

The Effect of a Teaching Model for Improving Undergraduate Nursing Students' Cultural Competency (간호대학생의 문화역량 강화를 위한 교수학습모형의 효과)

  • Purpose: This study evaluated the effect of a teaching model to improve cultural competency (TMCC) for Korean undergraduate nursing students. Methods: A nonequivalent control group pretest/posttest quasi-experimental study was conducted with a convenience sample of 168 undergraduate nursing students in South Korea. The experimental group of 121 seniors was taught a 13-week teaching model in order to improve cultural competence. A control group with 47 junior students underwent nursing major courses, but did not take this teaching model. Before and after the program, students' level of cultural competency was measured using the Questionnaire for Cultural Competence (QCC) consisting of three sub-scales: "awareness and desire," "encounter," and "nursing skill and knowledge." Results: After the experiment, the experimental group showed significantly higher improvement in the Questionnaire for Cultural Competence in the three sub-scales of "awareness and desire," "encounter," and "nursing skill and knowledge" than the control group (p=<.050). Conclusion: A teaching model to improve cultural competence was effective in improving Korean undergraduate nursing students' cultural competency. Further studies need to be repeated in order to identify the effectiveness of the teaching model to improve cultural competency with graduate or clinical nurses.

A Study to develop an ecological audit program in elementary schools for sustainability education (지속가능성 교육을 위한 초등학교 생태감사 프로그램 개발 방안)

  • The purpose of this study is to prepare a plan for the development of an ecological audit program that can be applied to the elementary school curriculum for sustainability education. School ecological audits enable students or groups of students to identify and solve the school's environmental problems on their own, thereby fostering sustainable decision-making and attitudes. As a result of the study through literature research, an ecological audit project learning program applicable to the elementary school curriculum was developed. The developed program is aimed at 6th graders and is composed of 16 steps reflecting the procedural and ecological processes of the ecological audit. In order to settle the developed program in the school site and improve the school sustainability of the developed program, it is necessary to introduce a school environment management system that can periodically monitor the school environment, strengthen the capacity of school teachers, and provide a professional certification system outside the school. In addition, with this bottom-up policy-making system, students can expect to spread a sustainable school culture through environmental education activities.
