The Shift of Cuire Temperature in Ferromagnetic Gadolinium Films (강자성 가돌리늄 박막의 큐리 온도의 이동)

  • 가돌리늄 박막의 큐리온도를 자기화의 온도에 따른 변화를 측정함으로써 결정하였다. 박막의 큐 리돈도는 bulkrP의 큐리온도보다 낮아지며 이 박막에서의 큐리온도의 이동은 두께가얇아 질수록 커진다 는 것이 관측되었다. 이실험결과를 유한축적 이론의 관점에서 분석한 결과 전이온도의 이동에 관련된 지수 λ는 0.82$\pm$0.13로서 이론적인 값의 1.48과 상치한다는 사실이 발견되었다. 이러한 유한계의 실험치 와 유한축척이론과 파이는 여러 유한계에서 관측되었다.

A Study on the Ferromagnetic Resonance of FeNb Thin Films (FeNb 박막의 강자성 공명 연구)

  • In order to understand the temperature dependence of magnetic properties of $F_{84}Nb_{16}$(wt.%) thin films, ferromagnetic resonance experiments have been carried out. The ferromagnetic resonance spectra for all temperatures consist of several volume modes and one (or two) surface modes. It is suggested that both surface of the film have a perpendicular hard axis to the film plane (negative surface magnetic anisotropy). Saturation magnetization coincides with the Block's T$\^$2/3/ and spectroscopic splitting factor is almost constant in the temperature range from 113 K to 293 K. The surface magnetic anisotropy constant K$\_$s2/ of the film-substrate interface increased with decreasing temperature in the temperature range from 233 K to 293 K. The surface magnetic anisotropy constant K$\_$s1/ of the air-substrate interface decreased from -0.322 erg/$\textrm{cm}^2$ to -0.394 erg/$\textrm{cm}^2$ as the temperature decreased to 253 K and was almost constant below 233 K.233 K.

Vector Network Analyzer Ferromagnetic Resonance Study of Py Thin Films (Vector Network Analyzer를 이용한 Py 박막의 강자성공명연구)

  • Ferromagnetic resonance (FMR) measurement is an important experimental technique for the study of magnetic dynamics. We designed and set up the vector network analyzer ferromagnetic resonance (VNA-FMR) measurement system with home made coplanar waveguides (CPW). We examined 10-, 20-, 40-nm thick Py thin films to test the performance of the VNA-FMR measurement system. We measured S-parameter (transmission/reflection coefficient) of Py thin films on a CPW. Resonance frequency is investigated from 2.5 to 7 GHz for a field range from 0 to 490 Oe. The VNA-FMR data shows the resonance frequency increment when the external magnetic field increases. We also investigated Gilbert damping constant of Py thin film using resonance frequency (${\omega}_r$) and linewidth ($\Delta\omega$). After investigating dependence of thickness, we find that an decrease in S-parameter intensity as Py thin film thickness decreases. And the FMR results show that the effective saturation magnetization, $M_{eff}$, increase from 7.205($\pm$0.013) kOe to 7.840($\pm$0.014) kOe, while the film thickness varies from 10 to 40 nm.

Carrier-enhanced Ferromagnetism in Cr-doped ZnO (Cr이 치환된 ZnO에서 나르개에 의한 강자성의 향상)

  • We have investigated the effects of Al codoping on the structural, electrical transport, and magnetic properties of oxide diluted magnetic semiconductor $Zn_{1-x}Cr_xO$ thin films prepared by reactive sputtering. Nondoped $Zn_{0.99}Cr_{0.01}O$ thin films show semiconducting transport behavior and weak ferromagnetic characteristic. The Al doping increases the carrier concentration and results in an decrease of resistivity and metal-insulator transition behavior. With increasing carrier concentration, the magnetic properties drastically change, exhibiting a remarkable increase of the saturation magnetization. These results show carrier-enhanced ferromagnetic order in Cr-doped ZnO.

Analysis of Low Field Microwave Absorption Properties in CoFe/MnIr Thin Film (CoFe/MnIr 박막 재료에서 저자장 마이크로파 흡수 특성 분석)

  • We measured the low field microwave absorption (LFMA) and ferromagnetic resonance (FMR) signals at various magnetic field angle in exchange biased CoFe/MnIr thin film. The LFMA signals were dominantly related to the magnetization rotation process. In order to analyze the LFMA signal, we calculated transverse magnetization ($M_{\tau}$) and permeability (${\mu}_{\tau}$) for CoFe/MnIr thin film by using S-W model, which magnetic parameters of exchange bias ($H_{ex}$ = 58.5 Oe) and uniaxial anisotropy field ($H_k$ = 30Oe) was obtained from FMR signals. The LFMA signal at hard axis showed similar behavior compared with that of $M_{\tau}$. As the magnetic field angle approach to the perpendicular to hard axis, the LFMA signals were depending on both of $M_{\tau}$ and ${\mu}_{\tau}$.
