Effects of 8week Plyometric training on power, dynamic balance and joint position sensory in Taekwondo demonstrator (8주간의 플라이오메트릭 훈련이 대학 태권도 시범선수의 순발력, 동적 평형성 및 관절 위치감각에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study investigate the effects of 8 weeks plyometric training on power, dynamic balance and joint position sensory in Taekwoondo demmonstrators. Twenty healthy collegiate Taekwoondo demonstrators were randomly assigned to either an exercise group (Ex=10), and a control group (Con=10), Ex group completed the plyometric training in three times a week, 60 minute for 8 weeks. Testing before and after training include the Sargent jump, standing long jump, back muscle strength, Dynamic balance and joint position sensory. Sargent jump, standing long jump and back muscle strength were significantly development(p<.05). And dynamic balance were significantly exercise effect in posterolateral(p<.01) and posteromedial(p<.05). Not only but also, joint position sensroy were significantly exercise effect in left food 15°(p<.01) and 45°(p<.05). The results of the study showed that 8 weeks of plyometric training had a positive effect on the power, dynamic balance and joint position sensory in Taekwondo demonstrator.

The Effect of Therapeutic Listening on Occupational Performance, Auditory Problem Behavior, and Attention in Children With Sensory Modulation Disorder (감각조절 장애 아동에게 치료적 듣기가 작업수행, 청각행동문제, 주의집중에 미치는 영향)

  • Objective : The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of therapeutic listening on task performance, auditory behavior problems, and attention in children with sensory modulation disorder. Methods : Sixteen children aged four to seven years who were classified as children with sensory modulation disorder were randomly assigned to either the experimental group (n = 8) or the control group (n = 8). From July 1 to October 18, 2017, both groups participated in sensory integration programs, while therapeutic listening training was administered only to the experimental group. Sensory integration therapy was conducted in two sessions per week for six weeks (12 sessions); each session consisted of 40 minutes of therapy and 10 minutes of parent education. Therapeutic listening was conducted in three thirty-minute sessions per week for six weeks (18 sessions). We used the Canadian Occupation Performance Measure (COPM) to evaluate changes in the participants' occupational performance between pre- and post-intervention. We used Fisher's Auditory Problems Checklist (FAPC) to observe changes in behavioral problems related to hearing. The Child Attention Scale for Teacher (CAST) was used to evaluate changes in attention. Results : No significant differences pre- and post-intervention between the two groups were observed. The participants' auditory behavioral problems improved significantly in the experimental group, but no significant difference was found between the two groups. There was no significant difference in attention between the two groups, but there was a significant difference between the two groups in the "adaptability" and "emotion" domains (p < .05). Conclusion : The results suggest that therapeutic listening training has a positive effect on reducing problematic behaviors related to hearing and improving the occupational performance of children with sensory modulation disorder. This study provides a basis for improving the sensory processing ability of children with sensory modulation disorder by applying listening training in the clinical field and at home.

The effect of Sandal and balance convergence exercise on static balance and proprioception on patient with chronic ankle instability (만성 발목 불안정성 환자들에 대한 샌들과 균형 융합 운동이 정적균형 및 고유수용성감각에 미치는 효과)

  • The objective of the study was the effects of balance training using sandals on the balancing and proprioception of patients with chronic ankle instability(CAI). A total of 36 patients with CAI were assigned to sandal exercise(SE), balance training(BT), and control groups(CG). The groups were assessed for static balancing and proprioception before and after the intervention. The SE performed using balance sandals, while BT performed balance training. Intervention comprised a 30minute session. 3 times a week for 8 weeks. The SE showed significant effect in static balance, as compared to the other two groups (p<.001), whereas proprioception showed a significant effect on eversion (p<.001). Therefore, balance training using sandals can be a positive intervention method for prevention of falls in elderly as well as chronic ankle instability patients.

Effects of Psychomotorik and Sensory Integration on the Motor Skills of Children with Development Disabilities (심리운동과 감각통합치료가 발달장애유아의 운동기술에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was designed to compare the effects of individual sensory integration treatments on the improvement of motor skills and group psychomotorik activities that produce a wide range of interactions with peers. The research targets two 4-year-old children, who are currently in the main building, and 40 minutes of psychomotorik and sensory integration treatment were applied to them twice a week from April 2017 to January 2018. The study method used assessment tools such as B-O test, DeGangi-Berk Test of Sensory Integration (TSI), and MOT4-6 respectively. The results of the study showed that programs in both areas had positive effects on motor skills, with significantly improved performance in balance and postural control, in particular.

Study on the Change of Nerve Conduction with Wrist Flexion in Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (수근관증후군에서 수근관절굴곡이 신경전도속도에 미치는 영향)

  • The author studied 20 healthy adults (20 hands) as a control and 30 patients (40 hands) with carpal tunnel syndrome to evaluate the clinical usefulness of measuring nerve conduction velocity after wrist fiexion in diagnosis of carpal tunnel syndrome. The median nerve conduction velocity over wrist to finger segment was measured before and after wrist flexion for 1, 2 and 5 minutes, using belly-tendon method for motor nerve distal latency(MNDL) and antidromic method for sensory nerve conduction velocity(SNCV). The results were as follows : 1. In control froup, MNDL increased in 1 hand and SNCV decreased in 2 hands after wrist flexion. In patient group, MNDL increased in 2 hands and SNCV decreased in 3 hands after wrist flexion. 2. In both control and patient group, there were no significant changes in mean values of SNCV and MNDL between before and after wrist flexion. 3. Phalen's wrist flexion test was positive in 5 percent of control and 60 percent of patient group. 4. Tinel's sign was present in 10 percent of control and 33 percent of patient group.

Effectiveness of Sensory-Feedback Ankle Training on Motor Functions in Hemiparetic Patients (시지각을 이용한 발의 감각되먹임 적용이 편마비 환자의 운동기능에 미치는 영향)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 뇌졸중으로 인한 만성 편마비 환자를 대상으로 발에 시지각 자극을 적용하여 균형과 보행에 관한 운동기능에 미치는 효과를 알아보고자 하였다. 6개월 이상 된 편마비 환자 16명이 연구에 참여하였고, 무작위로 실험군(EG) 10명과 대조군(CG) 10명으로 구분하였다. 두 군 모두 기본적인 물리치료를 적용하였고 실험군은 정적균형도구인 Tetrax Multiple System을 이용하여 발목에 감각되먹임 시지각 자극을 매회 30분, 4주간 주 3회 실시하였다. 운동 중재 전과 후의 운동기능에 해당하는 균형(TUG), 보행(DGI)을 측적하여 본 연구의 효과를 비교하였다. 실험군에서 정적 균형, TUG, 그리고 동적 균형지수(DGI) 지수는 중재 전후 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 나타냈고(p<.05), 실험, 대조군간 전후의 변화율에서도 유의한 차이가 나타났다(p<.05). 대조군에서는 DGI 만 중재 전후 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 순수하게 유산소 운동만을 실시하였다. 통계처리 방법으로 전 후 차이를 검증하기 위하여 대응표본 t 검정을 실시하였고 대조군과의 차이 검증을 위하여 독립표본 t 검정을 실시하였다. 모든 통계적 유의수준은 0.05로 하였다. 본 연구에서는 편마비 환자에게 흥미를 촉진하고 운동 기능 회복의 효과를 강화할 수 있는 감각 되먹임이 동반된 시지각 자극을 적용하여 균형 및 보행기능의 향상을 얻을 수 있었고, 차후 연구는 장기간의 추적 관찰 연구가 지속되어야 하고 발목 뿐만 아니라 다른 관절에서의 비교연구가 필요할 것이다.

Comfort and Body Temperature in Different Fabrics by Sensitivity Assessment (감각평가에 따른 원단의 쾌적감과 피부온도)

  • 본 연구는 각기 다른 종류의 원단으로 운동복을 만들어 선수들에게 입혀서 운동을 20분간 실시하게 하여 원단에 따라 쾌적감을 평가하였다. 실험방법은 피부온도를 4부위 측정하였고 가슴부위에서 의복 내 온도를 측정하였으며 매 5분마다 주관적인 쾌적감을 신고하도록 하였다. 연구의 목적은 다른 종류의 원단으로 제작한 운동복에 따른 쾌적감과 피부온도의 변화와 의복내 온도의 변화를 알아봄으로서 원단별로 쾌적감을 느끼는 피부온도와 의복 내 온도를 찾아내고 운동복의 디자인이나 설계에 적용하여 쾌적한 운동복을 개발하고자 한다. 그 결과 동일한 원단에서 운동시의 쾌적감은 부위별 피부온도가 높을 때 보다 낮을 때에 쾌적감을 느끼고 있다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 즉 운동 시에 발생하는 열을 의복이 열 평형을 이루기 위해 빨리 열을 밖으로 배출할 수 있는 의복의 디자인이 필요하다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 각기 다른 원단에서는 시간별 감각평가를 비교한 결과 PE/Wool의 원단이 쾌적하다는 평가를 하였다. 처음 의복을 입었을 때와 운동 중 그리고 운동 후에 피부온도나 의복 내 온도 변화가 적을 때에 쾌적하다는 평가를 하였다.

The Myths and Realities of Experiential Marketing (체험마케팅의 허와 실)

  • 최근 국내외로 각광을 많이 받은 마케팅 개념 중 하나가 바로 체험마케팅이다. 특히 업계에서는 체험마케팅에 대한 많은 관심이 있었기에 체험마케팅의 여러 개념과 적용사례가 부각되고 있다. 본 글에서는 체험마케팅에 관련된 주요 오해가 무엇이고 그 실상이 또한 무엇인지 설명하고자 한다. 체험마케팅의 첫째 오해는 체험마케팅이 획기적인 개념이라는 것인데 사실 체험마케팅의 근원이 되는 소비자 반응의 계층, 감성 마케팅, 그리고 통합마케팅 등은 다른 선행 이론에서 잘 정립되었다. 하지만 체험마케팅의 공헌은 이처럼 분할된 여러 개념을 한 틀 속에 응용할 수 있게끔 체계화시켰다는 점이다. 둘째 오해는 체험마케팅의 뜻이 감각마케팅과 통용된다는 것이다. 체험마케팅의 유수 사례 중에는 오감마케팅만을 강조하는 경우가 많은데 성공적인 체험마케팅을 꾀하는 기업은 소비자의 전체적인 체험의 향상을 지향해야 한다. 셋째 오해는 체험마케팅이 감성마케팅만을 강조하고 이성적 마케팅을 간과한다는 생각이다. 체험마케팅은 실제로 소비자의 상황분석에 근거하여 이성과 감성적 마케팅을 둘 다 포괄하는 접근방식이다. 넷째 오해는 체험마케팅의 개념이 너무 추상적이어서 실무에는 큰 도움이 되지 않는다는 주장이다. 하지만 체험마케팅의 실무적인 프로세스를 충실히 따르면 여러 가지의 마케팅 및 조직상의 긍정효과가 나타난다.

A Systematic Review on the Intervention of Group Sensory Integration Therapy for Children in Korea (국내 아동을 대상으로 하는 그룹 감각통합치료 중재에 관한 체계적 고찰)

  • Objective : This study aimed to summarize and present the effects of group sensory integration treatment applied to children with and without disabilities in Korea. Methods : The search period was from January 2010 to December 2021, and databases of 'The Journal of Korean Academy of Sensory Integration', 'The Korean Journal of Occupational Therapy', 'Koreanstudies Information Service System', 'Research Information Sharing Service', 'DBpia' were used for data search. A total of 11 studies were selected, and the Patient, Intervention, Comparison, Outcome method was applied to organize them systematically. Results : As a result of the study, single-group non-randomized studies were the most common with 8 out of 11 studies (72.73%). There were 99 subjects, ranging in age from 3 to 11, and an average of 7.39. Among them, there were more children with disabilities, and 40 out of 99 (40.41%) were diagnosed with developmental disabilities the most. A total of 5 to 45 treatment intervention sessions were provided, and 60 minutes were the most frequently provided once or twice a week. The Canadian Occupational Performance Measure and The Penn Interactive Peer Play Scale were the most commonly used evaluation tools in 4 times each (12.90%). As the treatment intervention goal, social interaction skills was the most common with 8 studies (36.36%). As a result of treatment intervention, 8 studies showed significant results. Conclusion : Based on this study, it is expected that in the future, various methods of intervention of sensory integration therapy based on high quality levels can be systematically presented and used as useful information in clinical practice.

The Effect of Group Sensory Integration Therapy on Motor Skill and Social Function of Children With Developmental Disorder (그룹 감각통합치료가 발달장애 아동의 운동기능 및 사회성 증진에 미치는 영향)

  • Objective : The purpose of this study is to understand whether group Sensory Integration(SI) therapy has the effect on improvement of motor skill and social function for children with developmental disorder. Method : The subjects were recruited among children received sensory integration therapy at a Children's Development Institute in Dae-Jeon, experimental group is total 5 participating in group sensory integration therapy and control group is also 5 participating in individual sensory integration therapy. The program was constructed for 90 minutes and all children either in the experimental or in the control group went through intervention for 20 weeks. Bruininks-Oseretsky test of Motor Proficiency II, Korean-Scales of Independent Behavior-Revised and Social Maturity Scale were used in order to evaluate the degree of improvement in motor skill and social function. Results : Most children in the experimental group showed improvement in overall aspects of motor skill and the social function comparing pre-intervention with post-intervention, but they did not show any statistically significant differences. However, comparing experimental group with control group, children in the experimental group showed improvement in motor skill and social function. Furthermore, there is statistically significant improvement especially in manual coordination, manual dexterity, and social age and social quotient in Behavior-Revised and Social Maturity Scale. Conclusions : It is found that a group Sensory Integration therapy program has effect on motor skill and social function for children with developmental disorder in this study. In the future study, group SI therapy should be applied for children with diverse diagnosis in order to generalize the effectiveness of therapy.
