DNR에 대한 대학생들의 인식 및 태도(간호대학생과 비 보건계열대학생 비교를 중심으로) (Recognition and Attitudes on DNR of College Students (Focused on Comparison between Nursing and Non-Health Department College Students))

  • 본 연구의 목적은 대학생들의 DNR(Do Not Resuscitate)과 관련된 인식 및 태도를 파악하여 임상에서 사용할 수 있는 DNR에 대한 객관적인 기준을 마련하는데 도움이 되는 기초자료를 제공하고자 시도된 서술적 조사연구이다. 연구대상은 대구광역시 일개 전문대학생 1267명을 대상으로 하였다. 자료수집기간은 2010년 7월1일부터 7월31일까지였으며, 자료수집방법은 구조화된 질문지를 사용하였다. 자료 분석은 SPSS 17.0 Program을 이용하여 실수와 백분율을 구하였고, $x^2$-test로 분석하였다. DNR에 대한 간호대학생과 비 보건계열대학생 인식 및 태도를 비교한 결과, 인식에 있어서 DNR에 대한 필요성, DNR 찬성 이유, DNR 반대 이유, DNR 결정 주체자의 인식에서 유의한 차이가 있었고, 태도에서는 가족 DNR시행, 자기자신 DNR시행에서 유의한 차이가 있었다. DNR정보제공에 대한 간호 대학생과 비 보건계열대학생의 인식을 비교한 결과 DNR에 대한 정보제공 필요성, DNR 정보제공 시기, DNR 정보 제공 결과, DNR 정보제공 지침서에서 유의한 차이가 있었다. 대상자의 일반적 특성에 따른 DNR 필요성 인식차이에서 종교, 헌혈경험에서 유의한 차이가 있었고, DNR 결정 주체자에 대한 인식차이에서 종교, 형제 자매수에서 유의한 차이가 있었다. 대상자의 일반적 특성에 따른 가족 DNR시행에 대한 태도에서 성별, 연령, 경제상태, 종교, 형제 자매수, 가족중 질환 및 사망자, 헌혈경험에서 유의한 차이가 있었고 자기자신 DNR시행에 대한 태도 차이에서 성별, 경제상태, 종교, 형제 자매수, 가족중 질환 및 사망자에서 유의한 차이가 있었다. 본 연구결과를 바탕으로 DNR에 관한 기준을 마련하기 위하여 더 많은 후속 연구가 필요하다고 사료된다.

간호대학생과 비 간호계열 대학생의 HIV/AIDS와 B형 간염에 대한 지식 및 태도 (A Study on Nursing and Non-Nursing College Students' Knowledge and Attitudes of HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis B)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to describe the knowledge and attitudes of nursing and non-nursing college students toward HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis B. Methods: A descriptive design was used for this study. The subjects were 123 nursing college students and 128 non-nursing college students. Self-administered questionnaires were used for data collection. Descriptive statistics, ${\chi}^2$-test, t-test, ANOVA, and Pearson correlation coefficient were used for data analysis. Results: Nursing students showed a greater understanding and more favorable attitudes towards HIV/AIDS and hepatitis B than non-nursing college students. Most non-nursing college students learned about HIV/AIDS and hepatitis B from Mass Media. In contrast, many nursing college students learned about HIV/AIDS and hepatitis B from technical books and lecture. Students who learned from technical books and lecture showed a higher score for knowledge and more favorable attitudes regarding HIV/AIDS and hepatitis B. Conclusion: The findings of this study demonstrated that educational opportunities in school are crucial to enhancing knowledge and attitudes toward HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis B. A structured education program using strategies to improve attitudes is necessary for college students.

보건계열 대학생의 보건교육사의 시험제도에 대한 지식과 역할에 대한 인식 (Knowledge about the Examination System and Recognition for the Roles of Health Educator in Health College Students)

  • Purpose: This study was to survey the recognition for the roles of health educator and knowledge about the examination system in health college students at a university located in Chungnam. Methods: The participants were 140 health college students. The survey was conducted using a questionnaire consists of 10 items. The knowledge about the examination system was checked for 9 items with a five-point scale. Recognition for the roles of health educator was divided into four categories from know very well to do not know at all. The data were analyzed using SPSS 18.0 program. Results: In this study, the mean score of knowledge about the examination system was 1.95 points out of 5, and the mean score of recognition for the roles of health educator was 3.01 points out of 4. According to the general characteristics, there were statistically significant differences in their knowledge about the examination system for health educator regarding their gender (p=.034) and grade (p<.001). Recognition for the roles of health educator showed a statistically significant difference only in their grade (p<.001). Conclusion: These results provide the basic data to prepare the necessary measures for the revitalization and promotion of the health educators.

대학생의 경제이해력 측정 -대구 D대학을 중심으로- (Measure of economic literacy of college students -Focused on D college in Daegu city-)

  • 본 연구는 대구광역시에 소재하고 있는 D대학 대학생 494명을 대상으로 경제이해력을 측정하고 측정된 결과를 통해서, 일반 사회적 특성, 금융경험, 경제생활 경험, 경제교육 경험 등이 경제이해력에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 알아보고자 했다. 일반사회학적 특성에 따른 경제이해력을 먼저 살펴보면, 성별로는 여학생이 평균 48.33, 남학생의 평균이 46.76으로 대체로 낮게 나타났다. 대학생의 전공계열별로는 간호계열 대학생의 경제이해력 평균이 58.67로 가장 높게 나타났으며, 인문 사회계열평균 53.56, 다음으로 공학계열 49.00, 보건계열 45.78, 예 체능계열 평균 39.64로 경제이해력 평균이 가장 낮게 나타났다. 부의 학력에 따른 대학생의 경제이해력 평균에 차이가 나타났다. 부의 학력이 중학교졸업 이하인 대학생의 이해력 평균이 50.11로 가장 높게 나타났으며, 다음으로 고등학교 졸업 학력을 둔 대학생의 이해력 평균은 49.57로 나타났으며, 대학원 졸업 학력을 둔 대학생의 이해력 평균이 35.13으로 가장 낮게 나타났다. 모의 학력에 있어서도 고등학교 졸업 학력을 둔 대학생의 이해력이 49.35로 가장 높게 나타났으며, 대학원 졸업 학력을 가진 대학생의 이해력 평균이 40.00으로 가장 낮게 나타났다. 다음으로 금융 경험적 특성에 따른 이해력에서는 통장을 개설한 경험이 있는 대학생의 평균이해력은 48.47로 나타났으며, 개설한 경험이 없는 대학생의 이해력 평균은 30.20으로 낮게 나타났다. 경제생활 변수에 따른 이해력을 살펴보면 용돈의 수령형태에 있어서 용돈을 거의 받지 않는 대학생의 이해력 평균이 50.88로 가장 높게 나타났으며, 필요할 때 마다 수령하는 대학생의 이해력 평균은 44.23으로 가장 낮게 나타났다. 경제 교육적 변수에 따른 이해력을 살펴보면 경제 교육을 받았는가의 질문에 교육을 받은 적이 있다라고 답한 대학생의 평균이 50.09로 나타났고, 경제교육을 받은 적이 없다라고 답한 대학생의 평균은 45.23으로 나타났다. 경제교육이 필요하다라고 답한 대학생의 이해력 평균은 50.24로 나타났고, 경제교육이 필요치 않다라고 답한 대학생의 이해력 평균은 44.29로 나타났다.

Pender의 건강증진모형을 근간으로 한 보건계열 대학생의 운동행위 예측요인 (Predictors of Allied Health Science Students' Exercise Behavior: An Application of Pender's Health Promotion Model)

  • Purpose: This study was performed to examine predictors of allied health science students' exercise behavior using Pender's Health Promotion Model. Method: The subjects were 203 university students majoring in nursing, emergency medical service, and exercise prescription. The hypothetical model was based on the HPM(Pender, 1996). Exogenous variables of the model were exercise habit and role belief. Endogenous variables were exercise-related affect, exercise self-efficacy, exercise barrier, exercise intention, and exercise behavior. The data were analyzed by SAS PC program and LISREL 8.12 program. Result: The degree of exercise behavior was low(mean 1.86, range 1~4). The overall fit of the model to the data was acceptable. Exercise habit, exercise self-efficacy and exercise-related affect were significant predictors of exercise intention and exercise behavior. Conclusion: This study shows the necessity of the program to increase the level of exercise participation of university students majoring in allied health science. The model constructed in this study is applicable to explain exercise behavior of university students majoring in allied health science, and suggests that we should focus on exercise habit, exercise self-efficacy and exercise-related affect to increase the level of exercise behavior of this group.

보건계열 대학생의 진로태도성숙도, 소명의식, 일의 의미가 대학생활적응에 미치는 영향 (Career Attitude Maturity, Calling, and Work as Meaning Affecting Student Adjustment to College among Health College Students)

  • Purpose: The aim of this study was to identify factors affecting student adjustment to college among students in health colleges (Nursing, Clinical Pathology, Radiology, Dental Hygienics, Medicine). Methods: The participants in this study were 261 students in Daejeon city. Data were collected from October 5 to October 14, 2014. A structured questionnaire was used for data collection and data was analyzed using the SPSS/WIN program. Results: Career attitude maturity, calling and work as meaning positively correlated with student adjustment to college. The significant predictors of student adjustment to college were career attitude maturity, calling, always working part-time, major in medicine and average grade for the last semester. Conclusion: These findings suggest that adjustment to college for students in health colleges is linked to career attitude maturity, and calling. College organization should develop a curriculum fostering a calling which will promote student adjustment to college and graduate health care professionals with desirable attitudes.

코로나 19 (COVID-19)로 인해 온라인 전공 수업을 경험한 보건계열 대학생의 학습몰입에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Factors Affecting the Learning Flow of Health Science Students Taking Online Classes due to COVID-19)

  • 본 연구는 코로나19(COVID-19)로 인한 온라인 전공 수업이 학업스트레스, 학습 만족도, 학습몰입에 미치는 영향을 파악하고자 시행되었다. 자료 수집은 보건계열 전공자 129명으로 2020년 11월 15일부터 2020년 12월 22일까지 설문지를 통해 수집되었다. 자료의 분석은 기술통계, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's 상관관계 분석, 다중회귀분석을 이용하였다. 연구 결과 학업스트레스는 학습만족도(r=.-78, p<.001), 학습몰입(r=.-70, p<.001) 간에 음의 상관관계를, 학습만족도는 학습몰입(r=.71, p<.001)과 양의 상관관계를 나타냈다. 또한 온라인 수업 시 과제 분량, 지난 학기에 이수한 온라인 실습 교과목의 수. 학업스트레스와 학습만족도는 학습몰입에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 이들 변수의 전체 설명력은 61.0%로 나타났다. 따라서 온라인 수업에서 학습몰입을 높이기 위해서는 학업스트레스를 낮추기 위한 전략과 다양한 교육 프로그램 개발이 필요하다.

보건·간호계열 대학생의 사회적 니코틴 의존도 영향요인 (Influencing Factors of Social Nicotine Dependence in University Students)

  • Objectives : This study identified factors that influenced social nicotine dependence in university students using descriptive methods. Methods : Data were collected 429 university students from 2 universities in B metropolitan city. The analytical methods were the t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe's test, Pearson's Correlation Coefficient and multiple regression analysis. Results : There were significant differences in social nicotine dependence according to gender (t=3.359, p=.001), smoking status (t=8.915, p=.000), religion (t=3.841, p=.022), economic status (t=3.632, p=.027) and grade (t=8.466, p=.000). Social nicotine dependence was weakly correlated with anxiety (r=.113, p<.05). Meaningful variables that explain social nicotine dependence were anxiety, self-efficacy self-esteem, female, smokers and no religion. Conclusions : It is necessary to develop a comprehensive smoke-free policy that considers social nicotine dependence to improve the cultural and social awareness of the associated health hazards of smoking, and to develop smoking cessation education and smoking prevention programs that improve the self-efficacy and self-esteem of university students.

대학생들의 집단별 라이프 스타일에 따른 패션라이프스타일 및 컬러 관심도 (간호, 보건계열 학생들을 중심으로) (A Study on Fashion Lifestyle and Color Interests in Accordance with Group University Students' Lifestyle (Focused on Students in Health and Nursing Fields))

  • Purpose. This study pourpose to fashion lifestyle and color interests in accordance with group university students' lifestyle focused on students in health and nursing fields. Methods. This study administered a structured questionnaire to 321 random subjects who currently major in health and nursing fields and who reside in Daegu city. For the collected data, using the SPSS 18.0, the following analyses were implemented: frequency analysis, factor analysis, K-means clustering analysis, t-test, and ${\chi}^2$-test. Result. In terms of lifestyle, seniors had shown more active groups than passive groups in comparison to their juniors. The active group in terms of lifestyle has shown higher interest in the importance of apparel and fashion leadership in comparison to the passive group. The active group in terms of lifestyle has also shown higher interest in color in comparison to the passive group. Conclusion. A fashion leader leading by examining the fashion life style and color interest in accordance with the lifestyle to target college students to investigate a variety of consumption patterns made according to personal preference consists of a smooth communication between businesses and consumers needed for product development.

보건의료계열 대학생의 자신감과 문화 간 의사소통능력이 문화적 역량에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Self-Efficacy and Intercultural Communicative Competence on the Cultural Competence of Allied Health College Students)

  • Purpose: The study examined the effects of self-efficacy and intercultural communicative competence on the cultural competence of allied health college students. Methods: The participants were 176 allied health college students. Data collection was conducted from June 12 to 30, 2018. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple linear regression analysis with the SPSS program. Results: The mean self-efficacy score was 3.52;, the mean intercultural communicative competence score was 3.24;, and the mean cultural competence score was 3.26. Cultural competence differed significantly by grade(p=.008), major(p<.001), overseas study exchange(p=.020), foreign language skill(p=.011), domestic multicultural friends (p=.002) and contact with people(p=.026) of general characteristics. Statistically significant positive relationships were observed between self-efficacy(r=.23), intercultural communicative competence(r=.58), and cultural competence. A total of 35.9% of cultural competence was explained by intercultural communicative competence and grade. Conclusion: These results can be used to develop cultural education programs to improve cultural competence, with consideration for intercultural communicative competence and grade levels.
