  • We consider the device-to-device (D2D) communication underlaying multi-cell interference system, in which the cellular downlink (DL) resource is reused by K cells and two D2D transmission links within each cell. In this paper, it has been shown that the downlink intra-cell and inter-cell interference can be effectively handled by interference alignment (IA) technique, as long as the simultaneous D2D links are properly selected or power-controlled so that they may not incur interference to the base stations in the same and neighbor cells. In particular, we provides the IA technique that can achieve the theoretically maximum possible degree of freedom (DOF), demonstrating that a total of (K+1)M degrees of freedom (DOFs) can be achieved for K-cell interference system with two underlaying D2D links, where base stations, cellular UE's, and D2D UE's all have M transmit and receive antennas.

  • In this paper, we have estimated the interference effects between the NGSO/MSS system and the fixed-service M/W system for sharing the NGSO/MSS system into the frequency band operated by the existing M/W system. Between above two systems, the interference effects must be analyzed in the following three points. That is, PFD(Power Flux Density) level must be obtained in the case of the interference from NGSO satellites into M/W stations, C/I(Carrier-to-Interference Ratio) and the coordination contour in the case of the interference between NGSO/MSS feeder link and a M/W station, and the interference power level and coordination contour in the case of the interference between NGSO/MSS service link(handsets) and M/W stations. Therefore, in order to obtain above three criteria, we have developed the analytical model, introduced the related equations and estimated the system performance by means of the simulation and the theoretial analysis. It is expected that the results will be utilized in setting the criterion for sharing between the NGSO/MSS system and the M/W station.

  • CR technology is an intelligent technology which can sense the spectrum environment an adaptively adjust the parameters for wireless transmission. In this paper, by using CR-UWB, the spectrum efficiency of the transmission channel is largely improved; Furthermore, the interference to other system can be effectively avoided. In this paper, we propose a solution on interference problem of UWB system using cognitive radio. We use interference temperature model of cognitive radio that has proposed by FCC for estimating interference signal. Calculating channel capacity of UWB system with interference temperature, we suggest how to solve interference problem. We have used genetic algorithm in cognitive engine's calculation precess. The proposed UWB System with cognitive radio shows very efficient in solving interference problem.

  • Due to the congestion of the radio spectrum, frequency bands are shared among the communication systems. Therefore for the satisfactory operation we have to predict with reasonable accuracy the levels of interference that might exist among them. Inter- ference among the communication systems depends on many factors such as climate, radio frequency, time percentage of interest, distance and path topography. Interference due to rain scattering is the most important factorin Ghz frequencies. ITU-R offers the model related to interference due to rain scattering. In this paper the transmission loss due to rain scattering is predicted and compared with the measured results.

  • Wireless LANs in the 2.4 ㎓ ISM- band create a new Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) problem. We investigated the interference characteristics between such wireless LANs in the case of identical systems, systems with different technical parameters for modulation and demodulation, and using a Gaussian noise source as a disturbance source. Experimental results show that higher throughput is obtained when adjacent wireless LANs use different systems, and that interference characteristics can be evaluated experimentally using a Gaussian noise source. Calculated BER characteristics for the interference agree with experimental measurements, indicating that this calculation method can be used for the design of the wireless LAN network to avoid interference. It is possible to construct an efficient wireless LAN network by combining different wireless LAN systems.

  • This paper presents a system to cancel the multi-user interference of synchronous DS/CDMA systems by using the estimation circuit and the reference correlator. In the code-division multiple access(CDMA) scheme, the spectrum of the user's signal is directly spreaded by means of the Simplex coed or the phase offsetted PN code. It is interesting for the Simplex code and the PN code to have a similar correalation property. It these codes are used in DS/CDMA systems, the number of acceptable users can be increased in comparison with conventioal DS/CDMA systems. This thesis presents a interference cancellation model to cancel the multi-use interference in DS/CDMA systems by using Simples code of PN code as a spreading sequence. In AWGN environment, we analyze interference generated from other users and compare the resulting performance with that of the conventioanl receiver in same user side.

  • In this paper, robust decoupling control scheme of miftivarlable systems Is studied. Design methods for Input-Output decoupling systems with robustness against signal failure In arbitrary feedback loop or actuator loop Is suggested based on the Riccati type matrix equation and state feedback, and is simulated In Turbo-Generator systems with B-Input, 2 output. The results of simulation represents the decoupled and stable response against the failure of signal In sensor or actuator loop. However, the system designed by conventional ,it ate feedback shows the unstable response. This method Is applied for robust decoupling control of the complicated multivariable systems.

  • In this paper, a new high-frequency equivalent circuit model of printed spiral coils (PSCs) for radio-frequency interference (RFI) measurement has been proposed. To achieve high-frequency modeling, the proposed model consists of distributed components designed based on the design parameters of the PSCs. In addition, an analytic model for PSCs based on T-pi conversion has been proposed. To investigate the feasibility of the proposed model for RFI measurement, the transfer function between a microstrip line and a PSC has been extracted by combining the proposed model and mutual inductance. The self-impedances of the proposed model and the transfer function have been successfully validated using three-dimensional field simulation and measurements, revealing noticeable correlations up to a frequency of 6 GHz. The proposed model can be employed for high-frequency probe design and RFI noise estimation in the gigahertz range wireless communication bands.
