The Purpose of this study was to identify the level of learned helplessness and the relationship among variables affecting their learned helplessness. We have carried out research on 799 students. and collected data were analyzed using t-test, ANOVA, scheffe test, pearson's correlation coefficient. As a result, the mean score of learned helplessness was 2.55 (${\pm}.61$), Of the sub-domains, 'lack of control' was the highest with 2.85 (${\pm}.44$). And It was found that the helplessness was high in the case of poor fellowship, low academic achievement and poor family cooperation. These results were significantly correlated. Through the follow-up research, it is necessary to carry out management to reduce the learned helplessness by developing differentiated program that can reduce the learned helplessness of university students by identifying variables that can explain the learned helplessness of university students.

This study examined the factors influencing the psychosocial well-being of working mothers of preschool children. It investigated the mediation effects of sociological ambivalence in the relations of psychosocial well-being with a family-supportive work environment and with the gender-role stereotype of family members. In addition, it tested the moderated mediation effects of the traditional gender-role attitudes in workplace and meta-mood. Data were obtained from 476 working mothers of preschool children. Using SPSS 25.0, Cronbach's alpha reliability was calculated, descriptive statistics were generated, and Pearson's correlation analysis performed. Mediation and moderated mediation analyses were carried out using the SPSS process macro 3.5 program. The main results were as follows: first, sociological ambivalence mediated the relationship between psychosocial well-being and a family-supportive work environment. The mediating effect of sociological ambivalence was moderated by emotional attention, a sub-factor of meta-mood. Second, sociological ambivalence mediated the relationship between psychosocial well-being and the gender-role stereotype of family members. In addition, the traditional gender-role attitudes in workplace moderated the mediating effect of sociological ambivalence on the relationship between the gender-role stereotype of family members and psychosocial well-being. These results can be used to inform discussion on changing policy and education to improve the psychosocial well-being of working mothers with preschool children.
The aim of this study was to identify the levels of family members' burden and to describe factors influencing on famiCX*//8ly caregiver's burden when they are planned to transfer to general ward from the intensive care units (ICU). A descriptive survey was used with a convenience sampling of 101 family members of ICU patients at S university hospital in C city, Korea from August to November, 2010. The data were analyzed with SPSS 18.0 program. The level of object burden in family members had statistically significant differences with level of consciousness, number of patients' monitoring devices, and tracheostomy tube. The level of subject burden had statistically significant differences according to patients' gender, patients' education level, and relationship with patients. Transfer anxiety was showed statistically positive correlation with objective and subjective burden. We found transfer anxiety was statistically significant predictor of family caregiver's objective burden with explanatory power 12.7%. Family members' subjective burden were statistically influenced by patients' gender and transfer anxiety. These factors explained 23.8% out of total variance of family members' objective burden. The structured individualized method of transfer is recommended with further research of ICU families to further examine the dimension of transfer anxiety and how it affects family members' burden and patient outcomes.
Among many factors that affect the development of the talent of gifted children, the family factor that first finds and cultivates the talent of gifted children is quite important. The researches on the family of gifted children are mostly concentrated on physical environment out of the home environment, neglecting psychological environment. Although the recreational activity of family with gifted children considerably contributes to the emotional, intellectual and social development of gifted children themselves and to the improvement of life quality of the family members, the recreation of family with gifted children has not yet been studied. Thus, the objective of this research is to present basic materials for seeking the direction to educate parents and to support family with gifted children in order to encourage synergy effect in emotional and social growth of family with gifted children by surveying the property of recreation of family with gifted children. The result of result is as follows. First, the type of family with gifted children tends to be remarkably biased to 'family-oriented activity' and 'elf-development activity.' Second, verifying the significant level of motive for recreational activity of family with gifted children at the variables such as number of family members, parents' age, parents' education level, parents' occupation, etc, it was concluded that they were not statistically significant. The result of this research suggests that education and support for efficient recreation of family with gifted children is necessary to achieve healthy talent of gifted children.

The present study analyzed the KOCCA's Game Immersion data to explore the relationship between psychological traits and game immersion. Psychological traits were classified into four categories; emotional stability, self-esteem, willpower, and happiness. These were put into the multiple regression analysis as the dependent variables with age, sex (dummy), economic status of the homes, variety of leisure activities, friend and family relationship, and time to play games. Four types of immersion (psychological unstability, bad relationship, interrupted daily lives, and failure to control game time and desire) were put into the multiple regression analysis as the independent variables. The multiple regression analysis indicated that the dependent variables predicted the game immersion. Among the psychological traits emotional stability was the strongest factor (negative) that influences the game immersion. Next powerful indicator (negative) among the psychological traits was self-esteem. Based on the findings, measures to alleviate the problems of game immersion and ideas for further research were suggested.
The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of child/family allowance on total fertility rate by period. For this purpose, it formed pooled-time series data from 1980 to 2015 targeting 19 OECD countries that adopted the child allowance policies, and made a close inquiry into a variable-based relationship through the pooled-time series cross-section analysis. The results were as follows. The child allowance appeared to have a significant impact on fertility rate even after controlling for other variables. Such impact was shown to be more noticeable in countries that introduced a fertility encouragement mechanism within its child allowance program. Based on the results, this study suggested the necessity of stepping up a benefit for multi-child families by additionally adopting a fertility encouragement mechanism within the child allowance program, in order for the child allowance program in Korea to function as well as the fertility rate promotion down the road.
Objectives: The study aims to examine the influence of university students' sociodemographic variables, parents' variables, and personal variables on their level of depression. Method: The study included a total of 334 university students enrolled in Busan. The data were used to perform correlational analysis and hierarchical regression analysis and were processed using the SPSS 23.0 program. Results: The main results of this study were as follows: First, the hierarchical regression analyses revealed that the most influential model was the model of personal variables. Among the personal variables, self-esteem was the most influential factor responsible for university students developing depression - the higher their level of self-esteem, the lower their level of depression. Among the parent variables, attachment to their father was the second most significant influence on the depression level of university students. Conclusions: This study showed that, in addition to attachment to their father, their self-esteem was highly significant in predicting university students' depression. The results of these findings have implications for future research in the form of programs and education to improve the relationship with fathers.
