본 연구는 급수전('tap'과 'faucet'은 호환사용)의 종류에 따른 사용자의 조작방향에 대해 우리나라와 다른 나라의 문화적인 차이를 비교한 연구결과이다. 이를 위하여 우리들이 가정과 공공시설의 화장실이나 욕실 등에서 많이 사용하고 있는 냉 온수 일체형 레버형 손잡이 급수전과 냉 온수 분리형 손잡이 급수전을 선정하여 이의 열림 방향에 대한 스테레오타입을 파악하였다. 또한 본 실험결과와 다른 문화권의 자료를 비교하여 이의 차이를 규명함으로써 서로 다른 사용자들이 공감하는 설계방향에 대해 언급하였다. 국외 자료는 연구문헌을 참조하였으며 국내자료는 직접 10대에서 60대 이상까지 6개 연령계층의 남 여 50명씩 총 600명을 할당표본추출 방식으로 선정하여 실험을 통하여 수집하였다. 조사 결과는 각 항목별로 통합 자료, 성별, 연령별, 주손에 따라 빈도분석을 실시하였으며 카이제곱검정을 통해 성별, 연령계층별, 주손(hand dominance)별로 스테레오타입의 기대특성(expectation characteristics)에 대해 문헌을 통해 조사된 연구결과와 상호비교 분석하였다. 분석결과 우리나라 사람은 비교 분석된 다른 나라 사람과 같이 스테레오타입에 대한 통상적인(그러나 동일하진 않음) 문화적인 배경을 공유하고 있음을 알 수 있다. 본 연구결과는 급수전 손잡이 설계에 있어서 서로 다른 문화적인 배경에 따른 보편적 기대와 일치된 설계지침으로서 사용상의 편리성과 안전성을 향상시키는데 유용하게 이용될 수 있을 것이다.

In order to incorporate substitution effects between different transport modes in optimal road Pricing, relating economic theories and models have been reviewed. It includes unconstrained optimization problem of maximizing separable and non-separable social net benefit functions of different substitutable urban transport modes. In doing that, the problem and limitations such as path-independent conditions with the asymmetric Jacobian of the objective function have been reviewed. Consequently, a plausible way of deriving optimal road price under interdependent market conditions has been suggested so that the idea can help identifying desirable and acceptable urban transport policy alternatives in a more comprehensive way.

This paper presents a panoramic reference image generation based automatic algorithm for moving objects detection robust to illumination variations under moving camera. Background image is generated by rotating the fixed the camera on the tripod horizontally. aligning and reorganizing this images. In generation of the cylindrical panoramic image, most of previous works assume the static environment. We propose the method to generating the panoramic reference image from dynamic environments in this paper. We develop an efficient approach for panoramic reference image generation by using accumulated edge map as well as method of edge matching between input image and background image. We applied the proposed algorithm to real image sequences. The experimental results show that panoramic reference image generation robust to illumination variations can be possible using the proposed method.

When a great variety of services become available to user through the broadband convergence network in the ubiquitous home environment, an intelligent agent is required to deal with the complexity of services and perceive intension of a user. Different from the old-fashioned command-based user interface for selecting services, conversation enables flexible and rich interactions between human and agents, but diverse expressions of the user's background and context make conversation hard to implement by using either user-initiative or system-initiative methods. To deal with the ambiguity of diverse expressions between user and agents, we have to apply hierarchial bayesian networks for the mixed initiative conversation. Missing information from user's query is analyzed by hierarchial bayesian networks to inference the user's intension so that can be collected through the agent's query. We have implemented this approach in ubiquitous home environment by implementing simulation program.

This study examined the nature and directions of dietary life education (DLE) in school education. The major interest and contexts of this study is to reveal the functions and communication ways of DLE in the children and youths' educational systems including: a. meaning of eating in human life, meaning of DLE, and meaning and responsibilities of school education, b. re-defining school DLE in terms of social changes and learners' developmental characteristics and comparing with FSE parts in the existing curricular such as the Practical Arts Education and Home Economics Education, c. what should be taught in DLE with orientation, structures, elements, educational philosophy and backgrounds, and instructional techniques of DLE, and d. effective strategic plans for DLE by suggesting the New DLE's paradigms and educational aims, programs in the curriculum, reinforcement of teacher education for the elementary school teachers and home economic educational teachers, school facilities expansions, diverse program, materials and networking development.

The extant entrepreneurship research has emphasized the development of businesses by recognizing and exploiting new opportunities rather than the development of people in organizations. To remedy this issue, scholars recently suggested the concept of humane entrepreneurship where the traditional view on entrepreneurship is enhanced by the human-centered logic. However, more scholarly work is needed to develop the concept of humane entrepreneurship as a new perspective of the entrepreneurship research domain. In this article, we attempt to enhance the research on humane entrepreneurship by suggesting its theoretical foundations and identifying the underlying dimensions of humane entrepreneurship with empirical data. This study suggests the five disciplines in management studies as theoretical foundations of humane entrepreneurship: strategic entrepreneurship, stakeholder theory, transformational leadership, motivation theory, and humanistic management. Also, we developed the measurement of humane entrepreneurship and tested its reliability and validity by collecting data from 19 countries. The results showed that the concept of humane entrepreneurship is composed of two dimensions, humane and enterprise cycles. Finally, this study provides further research agenda in the domain of humane entrepreneurship research.

Currently, enterprises are in a rapid flow of comvergence of industries in the ear of the 4th Industrial Revolution. Under this circumstances, change of economic condition, change of industrial structure, increase of women's advance into society. Based on such background of the times, the aim of this study is to examine the effect of work-home conflict on burnout and the moderating effect of self-efficacy in that relation. The research samples were obtained from nurses at hospitals in Daejeon-si, Sejong-si, Chungcheongnam-do and Chungcheongbuk-do. Total 360 copies of valid questionnaire was used for analysis. Specific analysis results from the research are as follows. Firstly, it was found that Work Interference with Family(WIF) had positive (+) impact on physical burnout. Family Interference with Work (FIW) had no impact on physical burnout. Secondly, it was found that Work Interference with Family(WIF) had positive (+) impact on emotional burnout and Family Interference with Work (FIW) had negative (-) impact on emotional burnout. Thirdly, self-efficacy had a buffer effect on the negative impact of Work Interference with Family upon emotional burnout. However, there was no moderating effect of self-efficacy in the relationship between Family Interference with Work (FIW) and emotional burnout. Therefore, it needs to consider a plan to reduce conflicts between work and family according to the causes of conflicts and it also needs to consider relevant results.

The purpose of this study was to provide a primary data for the revision of Home Economics Curriculum from the quantitative content analysis of illustrations in current Home Economics textbooks from the gender equity perspective. This study analyzed 342 illustrations and 1.368 individuals in 15 volumes of Home Economics textbooks of the 7th curriculum by units. The major findings of this study show that current Home Economics textbooks improved compared to the textbooks of previous the 4th, 5th. and 6th curriculum periods in terms of sex proportion and sex compositions of individuals appeared in illustrations. However, sex roles. color of clothing and dressing styles. and background and description of individuals appeared in illustrations tends to not described as gender equitable. This study recommends that there is a need for Department of Education to provide a specific manual and authorization standards for writing textbooks and constructing illustrations.

The purpose of this study was to develop a teaching learning process plan applying Keller's motive induction strategy to 'Nutrition and Meal' unit of the middle school home economics(HE). Five different problems were developed based on the 7th revised HE curriculum: "What should I do for a physical and mental health?", "What should I do to intake a required nutrient of my body?", "What should I do to take a well balanced diet?", "What should I do to build a desirable eating habits?" and "What should I do to deal with a nutrition issues?". This study was performed as the following procedures: the 'Nutrition and Meal' unit of the revised 7th middle school HE curriculum and the present HE textbooks were analyzed. And then the teaching learning process plan was designed, developed, evaluated, and revised. The motive induction strategies were developed based on the Keller's Motivational Tactics Checklist.
