Changes in Blood pH, $Pco_2$ and $Po_2$ During Passive Tilt (체위 변화시의 혈액 pH, $Pco_2$$Po_2$의 변화)

  • To evaluate orthostatic brain hypoxia from the passive tilt, anesthetized dogs were tilted from supine to $90^{\circ}C$ upright and $90^{\circ}C$ head down position. Blood pH, $Pco_2$ and $Po_2$ changes during tilt were measured on 8 dogs. Respiratory rate was decreased in upright position and increased in head down position comparing to that in rte horizontal position. pH in arterial blood was increased in upright position and decreased in venous blood comparing to that in the horizontal position. No significant changes were found in the head down position. $Pco_2$ of arterial and venous blood was decreased both in upright and head down. position A significant decrease was found in the head down position. $Po_2$ in arterial blood was increased both in the upright and head down position. However, it was decreased in the venous blood. The cause of increased $Po_2$ in arterial blood seemed to do due to hyperventilation and the cause of decreased $Po_2$ in venous blood was thought to be due to increased $O_2$ consumption of animals during the tilt.

A Study on the Recognition and Prospect for Korean Traditional Pyebaeck Foods in Daegu Area(II) (한국 전통 폐백음식에 대한 인식과 전망 (II)-대구지역을 중심으로-)

  • This study was performed by questionnaire to investigate the recognition and prospect for Korean traditional Pyebaeck Foods. The subjects of this study consisted of 621 housewives in Daegu area. The results were summarized as follows: The most people(94.2%) had ever seen Pyebaeck refreshments before, and most had seen them in wedding halls(62.5%). The reason they do prepare Paebaek refreshments was “it's tradition”(44.9%), and they considered this tradition as a public moral. The peoples who had prepared Pyebaeck refreshments at home consisted 51.0% and those who had purchased at caterer was 59.5%. The reason for preparing the refreshments at home was usually “it's true-hearted”(48.8%) and the reason for hiring specialists was “it's more convenient”(38.7%). Opinions about cooking method were mostly “complicated”(79.8%), and the knowledge score for cooking methods was low in 2.80. 31.3% of respondents reported inheriting their recipes from their mother. 43.3% of the respondents thought it would be “transmitted only a part” on prospects for Pyebaeck refreshments. 31.5% of the respondents said the improvement plan should be “focused on development of various Pyebaeck refreshments with modern senses” and 30.4% that the industralization should be effected through “publicity activities and education about its excellence”. People had to experience the Pyebaeck in the right way and to understand its real meaning better in order not to consider it as an evil custom, empty formality and vanity.

The Impact of Entrepreneurial Personal Characteristics and Social Entrepreneurship on Social Entrepreneurial Intention (창업자의 개인적 특성과 사회적기업가정신이 사회적기업 창업의도에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of personal characteristics and social entrepreneurship on social entrepreneurship intention, and to determine whether the moderating effect of gender influences on the relationship between personal characteristics and social entrepreneurship. In order to achieve these research objectives, the personal characteristics affecting social entrepreneurship were identified with moral obligation, self-efficacy, and emotional intelligence. Also, prior studies on social entrepreneurship and social enterprise entrepreneurship intention were reviewed. As a result of the study, we find that moral obligation, self-efficacy, and emotional intelligence all had a positive effect on social entrepreneurship. Second, social entrepreneurship had a positive effect on social enterprise entrepreneurship intentions. Third, analyzing the moderating effect of men and women in the relationship between personal characteristics and social entrepreneurship, it was found that there was a difference in the value of the path coefficient representing the relationship between moral obligation and social entrepreneurship. However, there was no moderating effect in the relationship between self-efficacy, emotional intelligence, and social entrepreneurship by gender. Therefore, this study is expected to serve as a reference for people who want to start a social enterprise in the future to verify their characteristics and use them as a way to improve their social entrepreneurship.

The Effect of Adversity Quotient of Small business CEOs on Customer Orientation: Mediating Effect of Entrepreneurial Orientation (소기업 CEO의 역경지수가 고객지향성에 미치는 영향: 기업가지향성의 매개역할)

  • This study aimed to derive theoretical and practical implications by analyzing the relationship between adversity quotient, entrepreneurial orientation, and customer orientation, which are the internal competency of start-up entrepreneurs affecting the performance of a small business CEO. As in previous domestic studies, we deviated from analyzing internal competency as a single-dimensional functional relationship to business performance, and attempted to explain the relationship between the internal competences of start-up entrepreneurs. Empirical analysis was conducted by setting the adversity quotient as an independent variable, the entrepreneurial orientation as a parameter, and the customer orientation as a dependent variable. As a result of the analysis, first, it was found that control and ownership, which are sub-elements of adversity quotient, have a positive effect on entrepreneurial orientation and customer orientation. Second, entrepreneurial orientation was found to have a positive effect on customer orientation. Third, it was found that only the ownership of the adversity quotient had a positive effect on customer orientation through the mediating effect of entrepreneurial orientation. In other words, it was found that the entrepreneur's ownership influences customer orientation through entrepreneurial orientation. On the other hand, endurance, sub-element of adversity quotient, was found to have no significant effect on entrepreneurial orientation and customer orientation. This means that in the rapidly changing New Normal era, endurance of entrepreneur can no longer have a large impact on entrepreneurial orientation and customer orientation. This study gives implications for the entrepreneur's competencies that must be developed first and the tendency to be developed together. Furthermore, it can be helpful in policy designing start-up support programs and guidelines for investors' investment standards.

Binding of the Hexavalent Chromium Ions in the Process of Cement Hydration (시멘트 수화에 따른 6가 크롬의 고정화 특성)

  • The hexavalent chromium (Cr(VI)) is well known as a hazardous ion, presumably inducing dermatic diseases and if serious cancer. The present study concerns the binding capacity of Cr(VI) ions in the cement powder and matrix for a quantitative technique of Cr(VI) ions in cement to influence human health. Both the water-soluble and acid-soluble Cr(VI) ions present in 3 types of ordinary Portland cement (OPC), pulverised fuel ash (PFA), ground granulated blast furnace slag (GGBS), and silica fume (SF) were measured using the spectrophotometer. As a result, it was found that the concentration of water-soluble Cr(VI) ion in cement ranged from 10.5 to 18.9mg/kg-cement, and in the additional materials a very low value of Cr(VI) ion was measured. Acid-soluble Cr(VI) ion was even higher than water-soluble Cr(VI) ion, ranging from 172.4 to 318.2mg/kg-cement. Nevertheless, the concentration of acid-soluble Cr(VI) ion is not proportional to addition of acid. It depends rather the variable pH of solvent involving cement paste. As enough cement hydration occurs, the binding capacity of Cr(VI) ion increases, inhibiting this ions from leaching out in the presence of hydration products such as ettringite or tri-calcium aluminate which bind Cr(VI) ion by ion-exchange.

Review of Fish Name on the Fishes of the Family Mugilidae in Korea and Resource Utilization (우리나라 숭어과 어류의 어명 및 자원 활용에 대한 고찰)

  • The mugilidae fishes are common euryhaline species that live in coastal marine waters to freshwater areas. The taxonomy and nomenclature of the mugilidae fishes still remain unresolved because of their morphological similarities. Among the mugilidae fishes, most commonly consumed in Korea, are grey mullet (Mugil cephalus) and red lip mullet (Chelon haematocheilus). It is generally called 'mullet' without distinguishing between two mullets. Therefore, the aim of this study is to examine the scientific names and common names of mullet species used in Korea from the domestic journals and Korean old documents. The scientific name of grey mullet is M. cephalus, but that of redlip mullet is C. haematocheilus. But the genus of redlip mullet is still mixed with Chelon, Mugil, and Liza. The standard name of two mullet is not distinguished in the Korean dictionary, but they were clearly distinguished in the Japanese, English, and Chinese dictionaries. In the ancient Korean references, the mullet was called 'Chieo' or 'Sueo'. In most of the old literature, the distinction between grey mullet and redlip mullet is not clear. However, in Jasaneobo, it was written separately from grey mullet and redlip mullet, and attaching "ga" was different from now. The Korean standard name of redlip mullet is 'gasungeo', however, the fishermen in Jeollado and Gyoungsangdo call it 'chamsungeo'. Considering the negative perception of 'ga' character, it is proposed to change 'cham(眞)' instead of 'ga(假)' to improve economic value of red lip mullet.

  • 서양에 레오나르도 다빈치의 <모나리자>가 있다면 우리에게는 혜원 신윤복의 <미인도>가 있다. <모나리자>가 야릇한 미소로 보는 사람들의 시선을 사로잡는다면, <미인도>는 단아하고 청순하지만 한편으론 에로틱한 모습으로 보는 이의 마음을 끌어당긴다. 또 네덜란드에 브뤼헐의 풍속화가 있다면 조선에는 단원 김홍도의 풍속화가 있다. 이렇게 세계적인 서양 미술작품과 견줘도 결코 뒤지지 않을 우리만의 소중한 그림이 있지만, 우리에겐 혜원과 단원이 전부다. 많은 서양화가와 그들의 작품, 서양화 기법을 알고 있으면서도 정작 소중한 우리 그림에 대해서는 잘 모르고 있기 때문이다. 안타깝게도 고구려 고분벽화 <수렵도>와 안견의 <몽유도원도>가 역사 시험에 나오기 때문에 외웠을 뿐, 이해하고 감상하기 위한 노력은 부족했던 것이다.

  • 본 논문에서는 산업용 및 건물용 수용가에 에너지저장장치(이하 'ESS')를 설치하여 운영 사례 결과를 나타냈다. 산업용 수용가는 리튬(Lithium) 기반 1MW/500kWh를, 건물용 수용가는 나트륨-니켈(NaNi) 기반 500kW/1MWh를 각각 설치하여 전기요금별, 배터리 특성별, 운전 조건별로 운영 사례를 나타냈다.

  • 제외국도 그렇겠지만 우리나라에서도 건축작품 활동에 있어서 구조에 관한 부분을 전공하고 그것을 전업으로하는 직종이 분화되어가고 있다. 건축전체를 자기주도하에 꾸며나가는 건축가의 활동에 대하여 전문분야별로 협조하는 기술자에는 많은 종별이 있겠지만 무엇보다도 구조기술자가 먼저 손꼽히는 것만은 부인할 수 없다. 건축물이 건축가의 뜻데로 지어지고 외력에 대하여 건전하고 경제적으로 지어져야 된다는 점에 대하여 건축가와 구조기술자가 각자 고찰 하여야 되겠다고 생각되는 소견들을 몇가지 내 나름데로 살펴볼까 한다.
