A Study on the Utilization of Satellite Ocean Data for Efficient Fisheries in the Pacific Ocean (태평양 원양어업의 효율제고를 위한 원격해양자료 활용기술 연구)

  • This is a brief report on the development of a system which provides fishing vessels with a real-time key information that can direct to regions of high fish density. Water temperature and Plankton distribution are the base parameters and various public information have been examined and summarized. The suface water temperature can be obtained from NOAA's high resolution infrared data base and the vertical water temperature can be obtained from TAO/TRITON's buoy near the equator and ARGOS's drifting buoy covering wider Pacific ocean. MODIS's data is also utilized for sea color information. A model data format is proposed and a few examples are demonstrated.

세정처리에 따른 근채류(감자 및 우엉)의 미생물학적 품질 비교

  • 기계적 박피와 수작업 박피로 처리된 감자와 우엉을 수도수, 염소수, 전해수A(pH 2.6), 전해수B(pH 8.5)등의 4가지 세정수로 세정 횟수를 달리하여 최소가공의 초기 단계인 박피와 세정처리에 따른 품질특성을 조사하였다 감자 박피에 최적 조건은 박피도구를 이용한 수작업 박피로 감모율 8.40%, 우엉은 brushing에 의한 박피 방법으로 감모율이 8.05%로 타 처리에 비하여 현저히 낮게 나타났다. 세정에 의한 미생물 살균효과는 수작업 박피 감자의 수도수 세정시 총균수는 처리 직후 4.5$\times$$10^4$CFU/g으로 무처리시의 4.8$\times$$10^4$CFU/g와 거의 차이가 없는 반면에 전해수A에 의한 세정은 $1.5\times$$10^2$CFU/g으로 나타나 뛰어난 살균효과를 나타내었고, 염소수와 전해수B로 세정된 시료도 각각 3.0$\times$$10^2$CFU/g 및 2.5$\times$$10^2$CFU/g로 나타나 전해수 처리구가 수도수 처리구에 비하여 전반적으로 2 log cycle 정도 낮은 수준으로 감소하였다. 이와 같은 살균효과는 대장균군수의 경우에도 마찬가지로 나타났다. 염소수 세정은 수도수와 동일한 방법으로 세정후 시간 경과에 따라 건조에 의한 표면색도가 점차 밝게 변하는 특징을 보였다. 마찬가지로 박피 우엉의 세정처리에 있어서도 전체적으로 전해수가 타 세정수보다 미생물 살균효과를 나타내었으며 특히, 감자에서와는 달리 1회 세정보다 2회 세정시 더 우수한 살균효과를 보여주었다.

  • Recently, diagnosis techniques have been investigated to detect a partial discharge associated with a dielectric material defect in a high voltage electrical apparatus. However, the properties of detection technique of PD aren't completely understood because the physical process of PD. Therefore, this paper analyzes the process on Surface Discharge of Polymer Insulator using Wavelet transform. Wavelet transform provides a direct quantitative measure of spectral content in the time frequency domain. As it is important to develop a non-contact method for detecting the Contamination Degree, this research analyzes the electromagnetic waves emitted from PD using Wavelet transform. This result experimentally shows the process of PD as a two-dimensional distribution in the time-frequency domain. The method is shown to be useful for detecting prediction of contamination degree.

  • This paper reports an electrostatically driven and electromagnetically sensed planar vibratory gyroscope based on a surface-bulk combined micromachining. The fabricated structure has comb electrodes which are 400${\mu}m$ thick, 18${\mu}m$ wide, 600${\mu}m$ long and separated by 7${\mu}m$ so that the height-gap ratio is about 57. It also has electroplated gold springs which are 15${\mu}m$ wide, 14${\mu}m$ thick and 500${\mu}m$ long on both sides of the seismic mass. The open-loop characteristics of fabricated gyroscope at atmospheric pressure are measured on a rate table. The fabricated gyroscope has a sensitivity of 30mV/deg/sec, and a resolution of 0.1deg/sec at atmospheric pressure. It is expected that non linearity of full scale output is less than 0.8% with. the dynamic range of $\pm$500deg/sec.

  • This study deals with the numerical investigation on two-dimensional lubrication characteristics of micro-dimple shapes fabricated on solid surfaces by using the commercial CFD code (Fluent V.6.3) to examine the influence of micro dimple depth and width on the reduction in friction under the sliding plate condition. In addition, single and multiple dimple arrays are simulated, all for a fixed area fraction of dimple on the surface. As a result, it is found that the existence of micro-dimpled surface makes it possible to substantially reduce the friction forces exerted on the surfaces, and such an optimum dimple depth would be present because the dimple depth larger than the optimum value did no longer affect the reduction in shear stresses, indicating that the reduction of friction is likely to be associated with inner flows of lubricant inside dimples. Moreover, it is observed that at the fixed area fraction, the friction reduction increases with the increase of dimple diameter.

  • In this research, KP-4, one of the plastic mold steels, was coated with the AlTiN from one layer to four layers by the PVD method in the $\Phi$ 8mm cemented carbide ball end mill. Coated KP-4 was processed with various conditions. For example, slope of $15^{\circ}$, $30^{\circ}$ and $45^{\circ}$ the spindle rotation speed was changed from 10,000rpm to 16,000rpm, the tool feeding speed was changed from 1,300mm/min to 1,700mm/min, the depth of cut was also changed from 0.3mm to 0.9mm, and etc. Cutting component force according to the coating layer number, and surface roughness were studied. The cutting component force showed a good agreement better the up ward direction than the down ward direction under all experimental conditions. In case of the condition per the material shape, it was lessen when the tool have larger angle because the average effective diameter of the tool is larger. The surface roughness showed good condition in case of the up ward than the down ward direction. And, in the 3rd layer of AlTiN coating, it showed the most suitable condition.

  • The magnetic polishing is the useful method to finish some machinery fabrications by using magnetic power. This method is one of the precision techniques and has an aim for clean technology in the clean pipes. The magnetic abrasive polishing method is not so common in the field of machine that it is not known to widely. There are rarely researcher in this field because of non-effectiveness of magnetic abrasive. This paper deals with mediocritizing magnetic polishing device into regular lathe and this experiment was conducted in order to get the best surface roughness at low cost. This paper contains the result of experiment to acquire the best surface roughness, not using the high-cost polishing material in processing. In this paper, We could have investigated into the changes of the movement of magnetic abrasive grain. In reference to this result, we could have made the experiment which is set under the condition of the magnetic flux density, polishing velocity according to the form of magnetic brush.

  • In this study, we synthesized a self-photocuring intermediate(SPI) by Michael addition reaction and synthesized polyurethane acrylate oligomer. Analysis and physical properties of the synthesized SPI and polyurethane acrylate oligomer were confirmed by FT-IR, NMR and UTM. As the content of the SPI increased, the tensile strength increased and the elongation decreased. In addition, since the film was hydrophobic, the surface energy tended to decrease. When the content of the SPI was 40 wt%, adhesion, processability, and pencil hardness were excellent, and solvent resistance was excellent overall.

  • 변압기는 권선방법에 따라 많은 특성의 변화를 나타내게 되는데 일반적인 동선의 권선법과 코일형태로 동판을 가공하여 사용하는 평면 권선방법, 그리고 고전류용 변압기에 이용되는 것으로 코어의 권선창 표면을 감싸는 형태의 관형 권선방법의 3가지의 코일 형태 또는 권선방법에 따른 변압기의 특성 변화와 컨버터에 채용되었을 때의 전력효율에 대하여 고찰하였다. 평면 코일을 이용한 변압기는 높은 코일간의 결합도로 인해 가장 낮은 누설인덕턴스와 가장 높은 성능지수 및 결합계수를 나타내었고, 관형코일을 이용한 변압기는 높은 누설특성으로 인해 가장 낮은 성능지수와 결합계수를 나타내었다. 그리고 이들을 DC-DC 컨버터에 채용하여 분석한 결과 평면변압기가 가장 높은 효율을 발휘하였다. 관형변압기는 저전력에서는 높은 누설량으로 인해 효율이 상대적으로 낮지만 출력전력이 증가할수록 상승하는 발열량에 대한 방열효과가 높아 효율의 감소폭이 작아서 고주파 또는 대전류용 변압기 응용이 기대된다.

  • 대부분의 고압송전선은 알루미늄도체와 강심코어로 구성된 ACSR(Aluminum Conductor Steel Reinforced) 계통으로 건설되었다. 강심코어는 고탄소강으로 전선의 하중을 담당하며 알루미늄은 도체로 사용되고 있다. ACSR $410mm^2$ 가공송전의 온도와 전류량, 외기조건(온도, 풍속, 풍향각)과의 관계를 규명하는 것은 송전용량과 승전효율을 증진하는데 필수적이다. 전선온도는 전류량에 따라 직선적으로 변화하며 풍속 0.5 m/s와 태양열의 흡수가 없다고 가정하면 "전선온도($^{\circ}C$) = -0.3143 + 0.077$\times$전류랑(A)"의 관계를 가진다. 전류랑 852A에서 풍속에 따라 전선의 표면부와 강심부의 망사온도차는 감소하였다. 풍속 20m/s에서의 방사온도차는 약 $1.4^{\circ}C$로 나타났다.
