In procurement auctions, auction frequency and transaction volume per auction have been analyzed as important factors in determining auction performance. However, there is no empirical study on the effect of auction frequency and transaction volume in procurement auction. Current studies mainly focus on bidder behavior analysis and new system design in procurement auction. In the study, we analyze the effect of two factors on relative winning price empirically by using real auction data from MRO procurement outsourcing company in Korea. From the results, we find the winning price is lower when the frequency of auction with same item category is lower. The low frequency of auctions means participating bidders have limited information of previous auctions and they bid their best price to win the current auction due to less opportunity of reopening the auction in near future. The larger purchase amounts of MRO items didn’t results in lower winning price, contrary to our hypothesis. The possible reason is that the price of MRO items already reflects the economy of scales and the increased volume per auction do not cause the further discount of MRO items from the auction.

This paper explores the effects of price discount frequency on consumer evaluation of clothing brand equity as well as the impact on consumers who exhibit different consumer characteristics. Following a preliminary investigation, two clothing brand groups were identified according to the frequency of their price discounts, one with a high frequency of price discounts, the other with a low frequency. Each brand group consisted of three women's clothing brands. A questionnaire was developed and administered to 351 females between the ages of nineteen and thirty-four in October 2000. The questionnaire included questions on evaluations on clothing brand equity (i.e., perceived quality, brand image, perceived value, reliability and brand knowledge), on consumer characteristics (i.e., clothing knowledge, clothing evaluative criteria, price perception and demographic characteristics), as well as on price discount frequency. Statistical tests, such as factor analysis. t-test and pearson's correlation, were used to analyze the data. Results of this research showed that price discount frequency negatively impacted consumer perception of clothing brand equity. The negative influence was particularly strong on the perceived quality and brand image dimensions of brand equity. The findings also suggested the effect of price discount frequency on consumer assessment of clothing brand equity was related to consumer characteristics as well. The equity of the clothing brand group with a low frequency of price discounts was positively related to clothing knowledge, price-quality inference, price-prestige inference, sale prone-ness. price mavenism, valuing the fashionable and symbolic uses of clothing and family income. On the other hand, it was negatively related to low price consciousness. The equity of the clothing brand group with a high frequency of price discounts was positively related to utilitarian economic aspects of clothing values as well as to low price consciousness. To establish and maintain high brand equity, marketers must pay attention to the frequency of price discount as it may have a negative impact on clothing brand equity.

Consumer's perception and consumption pattern of fresh-cut agri-food Products were surveyed to Provide basic information for quality enhancement. The results are summarized as follows: The respondents had a preference for a discount store (60.5$\%$) to purchase fruits and vegetables and the frequency of purchase was one time Per week (46.1$\%$). Fruits and vegetables were purchased frequently by full-time housewives compared with workers. The reasons for purchasing fresh-cut agri-food generally resulted from a consideration of the saving in cooking time, the ease of handling and the desire to serve appropriate portions. On the other hand, the reasons for not purchasing fresh-cut agri-food Products were the comparatively high price, a perception of unsanitary handling. Freshness was considered to be the most important factor when purchasing these products. The preferred price for the fresh-cut agri-food products were approximately 110 $\∼$ 140$\%$ of that for the unprocessed products. 87.7$\%$ of respondents answered that they will purchase fresh-cut agri-food products continuously if some problems that they considered, would be improved.
This study is aimed to identify the relationship between Korean restaurant selection attributes and behavioral intention regarding foodservice consumption tendency. In order to achieve the purpose of research, frequency analysis, factor and reliability analysis, correlation analysis, cluster analysis, chi-square test, variance analysis, and multiple regression analysis were conducted using SPSS 18.0. As a result of variance analysis, accessibility did not appear to have a significant difference in all clusters, food quality appeared to have a significant result (F=5.587, $p{\leq}.001$), employees' service appeared to have a significant difference (F=5.186, p<.01), and price discounts also showed a significant difference (F=4.921, p<.01). Therefore, the first hypothesis that the foodservice consumption tendency has a difference in the Korean restaurants selection attributes was partially selected. In order to verify the hypothesis that the Korean restaurants selection attributes affect behavioral intention, the sub-factors of the Korean restaurant selection attributes (accessibility of restaurants, food quality, employees' service, price discounts) were set as independent variables, and the behavioral intention of foodservice consumers was set as a dependent variable. As a result, the accessibility of restaurants (${\beta}=.092$) and price discounts (${\beta}=.299$) have a non-significant effect on behavioral intention. However, a significant result was shown in food quality (${\beta}=.379$, p<.001) and employees' service (${\beta}=.251$, p<.001). Thus, the hypothesis that the Korean restaurant selection attributes have a positive effect on behavioral intention was partially selected. Based on the results, foodservice managers need to build up strategic management to improve food quality with better ingredients, sanitation, adequate quantity, and consistent taste of food. In addition, they should provide better service with well-trained employees.
This research investigates the causal relationships between the selection attributes of coffee shops and customer value and revisit intention. To do this, the statistics programs SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 18.0 were used targeting 218 college students from three universities (K, D, Y) in the Busan area. Frequency analysis, explanatory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, correlation analysis, and structure model analysis for hypothesis verification were conducted to analyze the data. Based on the results of exploratory factor analysis, five factors were drawn as quality of coffee, indoor environment, service, discount, and brand. Model fidelity and validity was confirmed by implementing the confirmatory factor analysis. In addition, results of structure model analysis confirmed partial relationships among the selection attributes of the college students regarding coffee shops, customer value, and revisit intention. Furthermore, a positive relationship between customer value and revisit intention was also confirmed. Thus, this research suggests that coffee shop managers should manage in a way that customers may acknowledge the value of the expenses they pay.

This study analyzed the Importance-Performance Analysis of selective attributes of Home Meal Replacement (HMR). This study was conducted using a primary field survey on department stores and wholesale markets in Seoul and Gyeonggi province. A total of 201 out of 234 questionnaires were analyzed. First, the highest intake frequency was 1~3 times a month (100 respondents: 48%), the most common purchasing place was wholesale market (148 respondents: 73.6%), and the most cited reason for preference was convenience (115 respondents: 57.2%). According to the IPA results, selective attributes with low satisfaction and high importance in the second quadrant were 'quality', 'health', 'hygiene', 'origin of food', and 'safety'. These results suggest that the microbiological and sensory qualities of HMR production should be improved to meet consumer's expectations.
