인문학의 위기, 어떻게 극복할 것인가

  • 현재의 상황을 인문학의 위기라고 전제한다면 상황을 극복하기 위한 고민이 반드시 뒤따라야 한다. 무엇보다도 '위기론'의 장본인인 인문학자들의 '자기반성'이 있어야하며 정부의 인문학 육성책에 대해서도 세밀한 검토와 지적이 필요하다. 아울러 정부와는 별도의 대학 차원, 작게는 학과나 단체 차원에서의 노력도 필요하다. 학문에 대한 자부심이 지나쳐 쓸데없는 우월의식을 갖는 것을 지양해야 하며, 과거를 돌아보는 반성의 자세로 전문성과 함께 대중성을 갖추기 위해 노력해야 한다. 위기를 기회로, 기회를 위기로 여기는 신중한 자세를 견지해야 한다.

The Study of Current Situation and Policy Tasks of At-risk Student Support Policy in Gyeongsangbuk-do (경상북도 일반고 위기학생의 지원 현황과 대책)

  • At-risk students are increasing because of developmental trait of adolescence, dissolution of family, poverty, and study stress. These risk situations influence individual student and society negatively. The purpose of this study is explore the reason of occurrence of at-risk student and draw out improvement direction of Gyeongsangbuk-do at-risk student support policy based on current situation of at-risk control and support system implementing in Gyeongsangbuk-do. The improvement ways based on the analysis of Gyeongsangbuk-do's at-risk student support strategy are as the followings. First, it is the construction of at-risk student's prevention and early discovery system. Second, it is the construction of educational safety network for guiding discovered at-risk student, Third, it is the connection with family and community.

  • For over 60 years, public libraries in Korea has made an essential contribution to the social, educational, cultural well-being of local communities throughout the country. In spite of these contributions, the public library is regarded as being in crisis. If the current crisis is serious situation, the library and librarian should seek ways to overcome the such crisis. The aim of the paper is to analyse the various factors of the current crisis through an fish-bone diagram and to suggest the solutions to overcome the crisis.

Interaction Effects of Crisis Responsibility and SNS Interactivity on Acceptances of Crisis Response Strategies in the case of CEO in Crisis (CEO 위기책임성과 SNS 상호작용성이 위기 대응 전략 인식에 미치는 영향)

  • Previous crisis management research has mainly focused on business organizations' responsibility for crises, and yet research on CEOs in crisis still lacks. This research examined the influences of crisis responsibility and response strategies on attitudes toward a CEO, attitudes toward a corporate, and purchase intentions in the case of CEOs in crisis. In addition, this study explored how a CEO's SNS interactivity during normal times moderates the influences of crisis responsibility and response strategies. A 2(responsibility: high vs. low)X2(strategy: defensive vs. apology)X2(interactivity: high vs. low) experimental design was conducted with 200 Chinese students in Seoul. According to the analysis results from effects of response strategies by CEO's crisis responsibility levels, regardless of the crisis responsibility levels, the apology strategy was more effective than the defensive strategy in terms of CEO attitudes, corporate attitudes, and purchasing intentions. The analysis results about the moderating role of SNS interactivity during normal times show that under the CEO's high responsibility condition, keeping high SNS interactivity during normal times and using the apology after crisis brought out most favorable responses. Under the CEO's low responsibility condition, regardless of the SNS interactivity levels, the apology strategy brought out more favorable responses than the defensive strategy.

  • The side effects of drug is closely linked to the people's health and professional. In this case, press report is very important in evaluating the side effects of drug and people's attitude of government's health policy. This study analyzed press report on the side effects of drug based on the main theme, source, responsibility attribution on crisis, frame and network analysis. Theses is a difference of main theme between the press. Daily newspaper focused on the occurrence of crisis and economical newspaper focused on the manufacture company. Professional paper focused on the criticizing of the health policy. The main source of the press on the side effects of drug is the Congressman. There are few articles which mentions about the crisis responsibility. However most articles mentioned that the subject of crisis solutions is the manufacturer. This study found the main meaning by network analysis. This study highlighted the government's crisis management based on the result of content analysis and network analysis.

A Study of Social Media User Response about Firms' Crisis Response Strategies (기업의 위기대응전략에 대한 소셜 미디어 이용자의 반응 연구)

  • The importance of online communication is getting increased by the rapid growth of smartphone supply and Social Network Service (SNS) use. Catching up with the trend, firms are actively use SNS to improve brand image, promote products, and communicate with customer. On the one hand, SNS is the channel for firms' marketing activities, but on the other, it is also the channel where the events related to the firms propagate in real time. Firms are led to unexpected state of crisis, when events are quickly spread out on SNS. Then firms are assessed their image by the way they deal with the state of crisis. This paper proposes to figure out user response on SNS according to each crisis response strategies by analyzing event-related twitter data when crisis situations of firms arise. We classify crisis response strategies into response attitude, defensive and accommodative response, and response speed, fast and slow response. This paper suggests optimal crisis response strategy to firms regarding state of crisis propagated on SNS.

Differences in Corporate Crisis Management Between CEO's Leadership Styles (CEO의 리더십 유형에 따른 기업의 위기관리 차이에 관한 연구)

  • Crisis management is one of the most important tasks of any business as business environments have been dramatically changed. In a sense the ability to manage crisis effectively is connected to the survival of any organization, whether it be a nation or company. In case of a company, the ability depends on CEO's leadership styles. Though some research have internationally investigated the relationship between crisis management and CEO's leadership styles, few research has dealt with the issue. The purpose of this study was to investigate the role of CEO's leadership styles in the perception of the importance of corporate crisis management and the level of crisis management. A self-administered questionnaire was distributed to CEOs of various types of business and a total of 259 questionnaires were collected from them. But only 201 questionnaires were used for testing hypotheses after getting rid of incomplete ones. The result showed that CEO's leadership styles have different roles in the issues raised in this study. Implications and further research suggestions were discussed.

An Empirical Analysis of the Crisis and Emergency Management Research Trend in the Field of Public Administration: 1987-2007 (한국 행정학에서의 위기관리 연구경향 실증분석: 1987년부터 2007년까지의 연구논문을 중심으로)

  • This article analyzed the crisis and emergency management research trend in the field of public administration in Korea from 1987 to 2007. The research purpose of this paper is to empirically evaluate the state of art in the crisis and emergency management research trend and explore research topics and methodology for future studies. According to empirical analysis, the main research results are as follows. First, almost all research papers over 80% have been written after 1998 and, especially, 67.6% of all papers have been published from 2003-2007. Second, recently lots of scholars are more interested in the problem solving prescriptive topics than normative and theory orientation. Third, in the Korean public administration, 74.6% of research papers which dealt with crisis, have investigated the disaster crisis including natural and man-made disasters, among conventional security crisis, disaster crisis, critical infrastructure crisis, and living safety crisis. Finally, so far, crisis and emergency management research trend in Korean public administration have consisted mainly of the papers with more descriptive approach and literature survey than empirical approach and survey research.

  • 여객선 관련 해양사고는 발생 가능한 빈도는 낮지만 사고 발생 시 심각성은 대단히 큰 것이 특징이다. 이에, 여객선 안전에 관해서는 대규모 사고 발생 후 사건의 심각성을 인식하는 경향이 크다. 코스타 콘코디아 사고와 세월호 사고 이후 전세계는 여객선 안전에 관해서 새로운 인식을 갖게 되었으나 근본적인 위기 제거나 감소 방안이 미흡하여 아직도 동남아시아에서는 크고 작은 사고가 지속 발생하고 있다. 사전에 발생 가능한 위기를 식별하여 이에 대한 대응방안을 선제적으로 마련하는 것이 최적으로 고려된다. 본 연구의 목적은 현재까지 인식되었으나 이에 대한 대응방안이 수립되지 않았거나 아직까지 인식하지 못한 위기를 식별한 후 이에 대한 해결 방안으로 RCO(Risk Control Option)을 마련하기 위한 것이다. 본 연구에서는 다양한 국내외 자료를 통해 위기를 식별하고 이에 대한 분석 평가 방법을 수립하고자 한다. 연구 검토결과, 해양사고 연계 체인을 바탕으로 위기를 식별하고 이에 대한 시나리오를 구축하여 베이지안 네트워크(Bayesian Network, BN)를 이용해서 확률적으로 위기를 분석 및 평가할 수 있음을 알았다. 향후 BN을 이용한 위기 순위 결정과 RCO 구축을 진행할 예정이다.
