Phenomenological Qualitative Research of Social Admission in Rehab hospitals: Occupational Therapists' Perspectives (요양·재활병원 환자의 사회적 입원과 지역사회 복귀 어려움에 대한 작업치료사의 관점: 현상학적 연구)

  • Objective : This study aims to understand the phenomenon of social admission in Korea's rehabilitation system by analyzing the perspectives of occupational therapists. Methods : We developed a written questionnaire based on RSAT and, in August 2019, distributed it to occupational therapists with more than three years of experience at the time. Data were analyzed using the van Kaam's method. Further, high frequency words were analyzed by word cloud in order to extract significant statements. Results : Forty-six written interviews were collected from various areas of Korea. We analyzed the data into 2 categories, 4 themes, 13 sub-themes. The two categories were 'hospital system' and 'external factors of occupational therapy practice'. The themes according to 'hospital system' were 'difficulties in implementing multidisciplinary approach' and 'inadequate discharge planning system'. The themes according to 'internal and external factors of occupational therapy' were analyzed as 'difficulties of occupational therapists' and 'difficulties in occupational therapy practice'. Conclusion : Occupational therapists in rehabilitation hospitals recognize that the reason for social admission is insufficient insurance systems related to occupational therapy services in rehab hospitals. This leads to difficulties in occupational therapy practice. We need to develop the insurance systems that can meet patient needs for social recovery.

An Evaluation on Electrochemical Polarization Characteristics and Material Degradation for Cr-Mo-V Steel (Cr-Mo-V강의 전기화학적 분극 특성과 재질열화 평가)

  • This research is described on the applicability of a electrochemical techniques for evaluating nondestructive material degradation with various polarization characteristics for Cr-Mo-V steel. The applied electrochemical technique is anodic polarization test which are widely used to evaluate the corrosion rate and/or sensitization at depleted zone of strengthening elements mainly caused by thermal experience for stainless steels. The evaluation of material degradation is performed by small punch test which has been well known as micromechanics test method using specimen size of $10{\times}10{\times}0.5mm$. The 1,000hrs aged material at $630^{\circ}C$ shows the highest material degradation$({\Delta}[DBTT]_{SP})$, but the 2,000hrs and 3,000hrs aged materials show the decrease of ${\Delta}[DBTT]_{SP}$ as aging time increases. It is observed that the difference of current density $({\Delta}I_{FP}\;and\;{\Delta}I_{SP})$.

  • This review article highlights different types of nano-sized catalysts for the selective alcohol oxidation to form aldehydes (or ketones) with supported or immobilized metal nanoparticles. Metal nanoparticle catalysts are obtained through dispersing metal nanoparticles over a solid support with a large surface area. The nanocatalysts have wide technological applications to industrial and academic fields such as organic synthesis, fuel cells, biodiesel production, oil cracking, energy conversion and storage, medicine, water treatment, solid rocket propellants, chemicals and dyes. One of main reactions for the nanocatalyst is an aerobic oxidation of alcohols to produce important intermediates for various applications. The oxidation of alcohols by supported nanocatalysts including gold, palladium, ruthenium, and vanadium is very economical, green and environmentally benign reaction leading to decrease byproducts and reduce the cost of reagents as opposed to stoichiometric reactions. In addition, the room temperature alcohol oxidation using nanocatalysts is introduced.

An investigation about science sifted student′s perception of the science and scientist (과학영재들의 과학과 과학자에 대한 인식 조사)

  • This study was to gain a suggestion how to educate the science gifted student and manage the science gifted education center by analyzing the science gifted student's perception of the science, scientist and vocation. One seventy and eight science gifted students were involved in the questionnaire to investigating the perception of science, scientist and vocation. As the results, many of science gifted students thought the convenience as the positive aspect of science and the environmental pollution as the negative aspect of science. Science gifted students considered most scientists a diligent person, researcher and what's more, they are careless about home. They suggested much more of foreign scientists like Einstein, Edison, etc. than Korean ones as respectable scientists. Scientist is a major vocation that they want and know in the science area, while some students want to be a doctor, occurred to science singer. The mystery, difficulty, complexity, scientist, etc. occurred to science gifted students when they heard the ‘science’. According to the results, there are in need of the new educational programs for the science gifted students and science gifted education center. One of the aims of the science gifted education center is the judgment and cultivation of the science gifted student. Therefore, the science gifted student to be educated to improve positively the images of science and scientist. In addition to, they should get a concern about the vocation in science area and to be a famous scientist.

A study on the treatment of external water pressure for the water pressure tunnel at the structural analysis of concrete lining (압력도수터널 콘크리트 라이닝 구조 계산시 외수압 처리에 관한 연구)

  • When the structural analysis is performed for the concrete lining of the water pressure tunnel, many parameters are considered such as relaxed ground loads, internal water pressure, external water pressure, the shrinkage of the concrete lining, grouting pressure, etc. But, there are no standards and manuals for the structural analysis for the concrete lining of the water pressure tunnel. Above all, the external water pressure has an much effect on the stability of tunnel. So, in case that permeability of ground is large, the external water pressure should be decreased by installation of weep hole, or reinforced ground by ground improvement grouting should be pressed by the external water pressure instead. But, when weep hole is installed to reduce the external water pressure, the many problems may me occurred. Thus, reasonable approach for treatment of the external water pressure is necessary if weep hole is not installed. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to analyze design cases and studies for treatment of the external water pressure in performing structural analysis for the concrete lining of the water pressure tunnel, and to find reasonable method for tunnel lining modeling which is the treatment of the external water pressure according to permeability of ground and consequently the design of ground improvement grouting.

A Study Absolute Position Estimation of Sound Source (3차원 음향홀로그래픽을 이용한 음원위치 추정에 관한 연구)

  • The paper describes simulations and experimental results using a measuring system which utilizes the acoustic holographic method in order to exactly estimate an absolute position of a sound source. The measuring surface is installed to satisfy with a far field to the sound source and is composed of linear arrayed seven microphones. A measurement is simultaneously recorded by a reference microphone setting up a neighbour sound source and the linear arrayed seven microphones which are moved to the same interval. An absolute position of sound source is estimated by the cross-spectrum method to the received sounds between a reference and the measuring microphones. Phase differences of each microphone and time delays during scanning are compensated to the reference microphone and the measuring time of the first column. An optimal interval for each microphone in the measuring surface is decided by a numerical simulation. A source signal makes use of a sinusoid, and S/N ratio is 30dB in the experiment. The optimal microphone's interval in the simulation and the experiment is decided in order to satisfy with the Nyquist space sampling condition related to the wave length of 2kHz sinusoid. Mainlobe width of a estimated 3D hologram in the case of 2kHz source signal is decreased to 87% and 30% in comparison to 500Hz and 1kHz, and then a valid of simulation results is confirmed. Therefore, we verified a utilization of the study for a sound source estimation using 3ㅇ acoustic holographic method.

Fish Assemblages in Sandy Shore of Myeongsa on Geoje Island, Korea (경남 거제 명사 사질연안의 어류군집에 관한 연구)

  • Seasonal fish species composition in the sandy shore adjacent to eelgrass bed was determined. Monthly samples were collected by a beam trawl from August 2009 to July 2010. A total of 38 species, 1,232 individuals and 5,277.7g of fishes were collected. The dominant species were $Favonigobius$ $gymnauchen$, $Takifugu$ $niphobles$, $Hypodytes$ $rubripinnis$, and $Rudarius$ $ercodes$. These four dominant fish accounted for 73.2% of the total number of individuals, and 53.9% of the biomass of collected fish. During the survey, the water temperature ranged from 11 to $25^{\circ}C$, and the salinity ranged from 29 to 35 psu. The monthly species diversity index showed the lowest value of 0.89 in March and highest value of 2.35 in June 2010. Fish species composition and abundance in Myeongsa sandy shore, were similar to that the adjacent eelgrass bed, but were different from those of Gujora sandy shore open the sea.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the obesity, physical activities, and dietary pattern, and to compare the physical activities and dietary pattern according to the degree of obesity in Korea adults, with data from the 7th Korea National Health Nutrition Examination and Survey VII-1(2016). This study found that compared with the obesity rate of females at 26.3%, the rate of males was very high at 43.7%. In both males and females, the obesity rate increased in proportion to age. In physical activity, the amount of physical activities among females was higher in normal weight group than obese weight group. In dietary pattern, among males, dietary fiber intake was higher in obese weight group, and among females, intake rate of fat was low and intake rate of carbohydrate was high in obese weight group. Based on the results of this study, it is necessary to develop and provide an intervention program consisting of physical activity and dietary pattern considering the recently changed obesity characteristics for the management of obesity in Korean adults.

Security Threats and Potential Security Requirements in 5G Non-Public Networks for Industrial Applications

  • In this paper, we address security issues in 5G non-public networks for industrial applications. In contrast to public networks that offer mobile network services to the general public, 5G non-public networks provide 5G network services to a clearly defined user organization or groups of organizations, and they are deployed on the organization's defined premises, such as a campus or a factory. The main goal of this paper is to derive security threats and potential security requirements in the case that 5G non-public networks are built for discrete and process industries according to the four deployment models of 5G-ACIA (5G Alliance for Connected Industries and Automation). In order to clarify the scope of this paper, we express the security toolbox to be applied to 5G non-public networks in the form of the defense in depth concept. Security issues related to general 5G mobile communication services are not within the scope of this paper. We then derive the security issues to consider when applying the 5G-ACIA deployment models to the industrial domain. The security issues are divided into three categories, and they are described in the order of overview, security threats, and potential security requirements.

Relationships between Nursing Practice Stress and Stress Coping of Nursing Students in Korea (한국간호대학생의 임상실습 스트레스와 스트레스 대처)

  • This study was done to identify the relationships between nursing practice stress and stress coping for the nursing students in Korea. Data were collected at 2 universities located in C city in Korea. Participants were 160 nursing students. Data were analyzed by SPSS 18.0 using descriptive statistics and Pearson's correlation coefficient. Nursing practice stress was $2.72{\pm}6.2$. Stress coping was $2.60{\pm}0.37$. Stress was correlated with wishful thinking coping strategy when doing orientation (r=0.32, p<0.01), conference(r=0.52, p<0.01), homework(r=0.29, p<0.01). Stress for practice exam was correlated with problem focused coping strategy(r=0.31, p<0.05). Stress was correlated with positive view coping strategy when face nurse(r=0.31, p<0.01) or interpersonal relations(r=0.35, p<0.01). Stress related to practice environment and class was correlated with indifference (r=0.26, p<0.01) and tension relieve strategy (r=0.28, p<0.01). There's no stress when they meet or serve direct care to patients. Students managed the stress by showing active coping pattern. It is considered that the experience gave students an excellent capacity to cope with stress. Since the degree of stress and coping pattern can differ from adaptability of situation, a research of change in clinical training stress by seasonal clinical training and coping patter is proposed.
