The recent long-term economic recession and business depression are constantly increasing the occurence of the five major crimes(murder, robbery, rape, theft, violence). When looking into the previously-analyzed characteristics of how the five major crimes are committed, this study understands that the crimes mostly occur in these crime-ridden areas of poor public order and security and, in order to decrease the crime rates of the crime-prone areas, any relevant fields have been emphasizing the application of CPTED. In the light of that, referring to CPTED surveillance factors and the current crime rate data, the study presented ways to help the relevant fields draw up a crime-prone area grade map. In particular, the security center among monitoring elements was visualized by dividing it into point patrol and directed patrol and by dividing it into 3 steps monitoring levels with CCTV and street lights. In addition, we checked the crime rate by zoning through crime statistics occurred in the research areas and established a crime status map. We estimated the weight through AHP analysis on the built monitoring elements and the zoning of the occurred areas, as a result of making a map vulnerable to crime by monitoring steps by overlapping each element, we were able to confirm that 60% of theft, 52% of violence and 33% of rape in the 1st grade area were reduced compared to the 1st step in monitoring Step 3.
The emergence of the fourth industrial revolution is rapidly changing the conventional society and the industry, eroding the boundaries among the technology, culture, and finance. In the mobility industry, as the engineering-based industry converges with the information technology, the mobile space is changing from mobility or safety-centric space into space where the passengers can consume infotainment or contents services. The contents evaluation of the future mobility is conducted in terms of usability or technology acceptance aspect, but according to the trend analysis, the mobility industries, such as vehicle OEMs, it is necessary to evaluate the emotional or sensibility factors for the development of their future mobile space design. Herein, this research study evaluates which sensibility factor should be evaluated in priority to develop the contents interaction in the future mobile space. Thus, using Patrick Jordan's Four Pleasure Model, the priority evaluation has been conducted among 116 Korean drivers. As a result of the statistical analysis and AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process), it has been found that first, it is necessary to evaluate psychological, ideological, social and physical sensibility in the respective order, and second, it is necessary to evaluate based on the contents user type.
The development of ocean industries is an existing and important problem for South Korea, which is mostly surrounded by sea and has a long coastline along three seas. It is necessary for researchers to make efforts to enhance its cost and time competitiveness, because many ocean-based activities have been carried out in harsh physical conditions when compared with land-based ones. One of these efforts to improve efficiency is to operate an Offshore Supply Base (OSB), which is a basic infrastructure required to develop ocean industries effectively. For this reason, the construction and operation of OSBs have become an issue in Korea. The relevant research is limited. Nevertheless, there are a few reports published by Korean research institution. They focus on promoting ocean industries and only mention the necessity of OSB as a promotion tool for the industries. This study on the other hand, addresses various issues on the construction of OSBs in Korea and suggests implications for them. To examine the conditions on the construction of OSBs in Korea, we conduct case studies of Houston and Singapore, the representative regions where a massive OSB has been constructed and operated. In addition, we use Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) to evaluate the relative priorities of the services provided by OSBs if constructed in Korea.

Recently, about 600 cases of marine accidents occur annually in Korea. According to many studies and analyses on occurrence of marine accidents, 70~80% of marine accidents were caused by human factors. Among the human factors, navigation officers' fatigue is very important factor. Although navigation officers' fatigue serves as an important role in marine accidents, there is no method to exactly examine the degree of officers' fatigue. Accordingly, this study analyzed human factors according to types of marine accidents and extracted important five factors affecting navigation officers' fatigue through the questionnaire survey by means of literatures and 5-point scale. In addition, evaluation factors of marine accident risks caused by fatigue factors were divided and structured by using ISM. Lastly, it found out the importance of each fatigue factor drawn by AHP and decided marine accidents that were most highly caused by navigation officers' fatigue in order. At the result, weights were high as sleep time 0.385, stress 0.302, health condition 0.139, rest time 0.099, alcohol and drug 0.074 in fatigue factors, and death and injury 0.328, collision 0.308, grounding 0.195, sinking 0.094, fire accident 0.075 in evaluation factors of marine accident risks. Therefore, the control plan to lower marine accident risks should be prepared on the basis of high weight factors.

Data Envelopment Analysis(DEA) models can be used for performance evaluation on governmental funding projects for IT small and medium-sized enterprises associated with multiple-outputs/multiple-inputs. In order to enhance the accuracy of DEA efficiency scores, DEA models with exogenously fixed variables are required where the corporate competency is taken into account. Additionally, it is necessary to use multiple DEA basic as well as extended models so as to relax the restriction on the performance evaluation to relying on a single DEA model. In this study; 1)a DEA data structure is designed including exogenously fixed variables representing corporate asset, revenue and the number of employees at the point in time that the governmental funding project concerned is initiated; 2)DEA basic as well as extended models are established according to the DEA data structure presented abovementioned; and 3)a case study is illustrated with an empirical testbed dataset. As for the DEA basic models, CCR, BCC, Super-efficiency model are adopted. The DEA extended models are developed based on the models associated with noncontrollable and nondiscretionary variables. In the case study, it is explained a comparison of DEA models and also major numerical outcomes such as efficiency scores, ranks derived from each DEA model are integrated using Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP) weights. Performance significance with DEA efficiency scores between technical categories are tested based not only on parametric but also nonparametric single-factor analysis of variance method.

This study is the basic data to design development directions and development standards of resources and facilities for establishing provision-oriented marine tourism development plans, and it aims to help develop provision-oriented marine tourism by drawing planning index and considering its priority necessary for provision-oriented marine tourism development. The findings of the study are as follows. As the result of analysis on four aspects, specific standards and plans for marine tourism development index, it showed environmental aspect, socio-cultural aspect, management aspect, and economic aspect in order. According to the result, the environmental aspect is considered important as the plan to solve problems working as inhibition factors instead of local development, due to local culture and environment disruption. Besides, as the result of iult of iuland priority of 13 items w of iure specific factors and specific plans, durability of resource use, iulroveand envisurrf rdings, receptive culacity, conservesidesand transmissidesnvicultures, and iulroveand ein the quality of life, stability of resource use, quality management of tourist attractions, competency intensificesidesof residents, income increase of residents, PR marketing, role of public sectors, increase in the local industry, and increase in employment were shown in order. Software-oriented plans should be made to preserve overall nature of local areas rather than hardware-oriented plans and development of environmental aspect that merely considers preventing environment destruction.

Bridges, which constitute one of the key facilities in a social infrastructure, are easily accessed and used by users, so that keeping their performance above a certain level is essential. According to various cases in the U.S., Japan and Europe with a long construction history, it is expected that the maintenance cost of bridges in Korea will increase continuously in the future, so a rational decision making system based on engineering factors is necessary to optimize the performance of and maintain them by allocating the limited budget efficiently. This study is a preliminary basic study for the purpose of developing a common asset management system for managing all of the bridges and maintaining the level of service provided by them. The scope of this preliminary study is limited to bridges in urban areas. The bridge asset management system for bridges in urban areas, their level of service (LOS) and performance measure (PM) were developed by carrying out a workshop consisting of both experts and stakeholders. The analysis on the weights of the value and performance measure for each performance indicator was carried out by using the multi-attribute utility theory and the AHP method. In order to confirm the application of the weight of the performance measure and value of the performance indicator, six bridges in an example city were selected, LOS analysis was applied and its results were reviewed.
Intake ratio from river constitutes about 31% (8/26) that beings to "water stress country" as "Medium ~ High" with China, India, Italy, South Africa, etc. Therefore, the present study on a dam that is the most effective and direct for securing water resources has been performed. First of all, climate change scenarios were investigated and analyzed. RCP 4.5 and 8.5 with 12.5 km grid resolution presented in the IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) 5th Assessment Report (AR5) were applied to study watershed using SWAT (Soil and Water Assessment Tool) and HEC-ResSim models that carried out co-operation. Based on the results of dam simulation, the reduction effects of floods and droughts were quantitatively presented. The procedures of dam projects of the USA, Japan and Korea were investigated. As a result, there are no estimating quantitative criteria, calculating methods or formulas. In the present study, therefore, indexes for selecting suitable dam site through literature investigation and analyzing dam watersheds were determined, Expert questionnaire for various indexes were performed. Based on the above mentioned investigation and expert questionnaire, a methodology assigning weight using AHP method were proposed. The function of suitable dam (FSDS) site was calibrated and verified for four medium-sized watersheds. Finally, automated model for suitable dam site was developed using FSDS and 'Model builder' of GIS tool.

Recently, the paradigm of road policy has been focused on user safety. Recently, the number of road facility improvement project has been continuously increased but the economic feasibility (B/C ratio) is insufficient. Therefore, it is necessary to select a reasonable road improvement project through accurate and objective analysis of the road safety evaluation. In this study, to develop a new road safety evaluation method, data were collected based on the current road safety evaluation method for 75 routes including national roads and provincial ones. Based on the collected data, problems were analyzed and utilized as the basic factors of the new road safety evaluation method. Therefore, in this study, traffic accidents were reflected as a general evaluation item by weighing to solve these problems, and the evaluation items were added from experiences and ideas of the local public officials. For each evaluation item, a reasonable weight was determined through AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) questionnaire evaluation with highway experts. In addition, the safety index was determined based on the evaluation criteria for each evaluation item. The criteria for evaluating the danger zone are determined by the overall safety index. Finally, the criteria for selection of road improvement projects based on the overall risk level were derived.

The demand for National Woodland Burial Grounds is expected to increase as interest in natural burial, including woodland burial, is increasing. This study was performed to provide evaluation criteria applying weighting factors to the evaluation for location selection. Through literature review, location selection evaluation factors for forest facilities, similar to forest welfare facilities, were reviewed and analyzed. As a result of the analysis, 74 preliminary evaluation criteria were selected. Based on the results, three expert groups (public servants in central and local governments and other public agencies in charge of forest welfare facility, related field researchers, and civil experts) reviewed the preliminary evaluation factors. Evaluation factors were classified into two categories, 6 sub-categories, and 22 segments. The selected evaluation factors were layered for the second preference survey. They were classified into Forest Environment and Human Environment, and those categories were further classified into three categories. Then they were further classified into segments. After segmentation, the experts who participated in the first survey checked the differences in the significance of the layered factors by utilizing AHP. The site evaluation criteria table was prepared using the evaluation criteria and the significance of each layer. In order to apply it to the candidate sites, 10 sites including the existing National Woodland Burial Grounds and 9 candidate sites considered in the previous studies were compared and analyzed including Ulju County Ulsan City, Suncheon City Jeollanam-do and Janggun-myeon Sejeong City.
