발전기 고정자 권선 절연재료의 초기특성 (Initial Characteristics of Generator Stator Insulations)

  • This paper describes the initial characteristics of turbine generators at the Taean thermal power plant #4 and Wolsong nuclear power plant #2. The turbine generators had been in service for two years. The insulation diagnostic tests included measurements of insulation resistance, polarization index, ac current, dissipation factor($tan{\delta}$) and partial discharges (PD). The values of ac current and tan a were measured by Schering bridge. PD measurements were conducted using digital PD detector. The variation of $tan{\delta}$ and PD was confirmed in two generator stator insulations.

  • This paper describes the dielectric analysis of several insulators for home appliances. The dielectric characteristics of ABS(acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) were tested in relative permittivity, dielectric loss($tan{\delta}$) and specific resistance and compared with those of the other 4 insulators of PE(polyethylene) series. As a result, the relative permittivity of only the ABS slightly decreased with temperature. In the case of the tan6, the ABS showed higher dielectric loss than the other insulators but more excellent thermal performance. In addition, its changing pattern in specific resistance was very similar to that in $tan{\delta}$.

  • In this paper we investigated electrical properties for epoxy resin with improved mechanical property, elastomer epoxy. Investigated electrical properties are permittivity, tan $\delta$ and breakdown voltage strength(BDV). Permittivity and tan $\delta$ have dependancy on additive Quantity in general purpose epoxy resin. In particularly, those have very high values at low frequency and high temperature according to increasing component of elastomer. In case of BDV test, those materials have only a little difference due to increasing elastomer components. But in case of high quantities of elastomer, BDV has a difference. These results are represented that elastomer epoxy resin despite superior mechanical property needs many carefully thought as application electrical insulation.

22.9kV급 케이블 결함 검출을 위한 초저주파 실험 및 현장 진단 분석 (Analysis of Diagnosis and Very Low Frequency Experiment to Detect of Fault on 22.9kV Class Cable)

  • This paper presents few case studies of state diagnosis of XLPE cables using very low frequency techniques. The power cables of 22.9kV which have installation fault were assessed using VLF technique in addition to other techniques like insulation resistance and DC voltage withstand test. From the experimental results, The dielectric loss($tan{\delta}$) values of degradation of the cable(joint, knife, needle) at $U_0$ were 5.839, 5.526 and 6.251, respectively and all values were "further study advised". VLF PD measurement was also found defective portion. These method was effective in defect to fault in the degradation of the cable. However, the breakdown did not occur in the degradation of the cable because of properties of XLPE insulation. Few case studies of using VLF $tan{\delta}$ diagnosis for fault are measured and analyzed. The $tan{\delta}$ values at $U_0$ were "further study advised" or "action required".

  • 본 논문에서눈 주상 변압기의 유전정접 측정과 FFT의 이용으로 활선 상태에서 진단할 수 있논 열화 진단 창치를 제안하였다. 본 논문에서 제안한 주상 변압기 열화 진단 장치는 활선 상태에서 절연유위 온도와 유전정점을 측정하며, 진단 결를블 FFT로 처리한다. 진단용 센서에 인가하는 시험 전압은 주상 변압기 2차촉 전압의 0]용으로 외부회 추가 장치 없이도 전단이 가능하다. 또한, 무선 데이터 통선을 이용하여 진단 정보를 지상에서 수신함 으로 주상 변압기의 감사를 별도의 추가 설비 없이 손쉽게 가능하도록 하였다. 시험 전압 가변 실험과 온도 가변 실험을 통하여 제안한 주상 변압기 열화 진단 장치의 유용성을 입증하였다.

방사선 열화에 따른 이축연신 폴리프로필렌 필름의 유전특성 (The Dielectric Properties of OPP film due to Irradiation Aging)

  • In this research, we studied the variation of the dielectric loss absorption of the dielectric loss absorption of the sample according with the change to $\^$60/Co-${\gamma}$-ray irradiation dose of the influence of temperature and applied voltage. In order to investigate the effect of irradiation oriented polypropylene film, we have observed dissipation factor within the temperature range of 30∼130 [$^{\circ}C$] and voltage range of 100∼250$^{\circ}C$ [V]. As for the dependency of temperature by dissipation factor, the ${\alpha}$-peak which appears at high temperature increases accordingly to the increasement of irradiation dose which is contributed by the crystal region and moves towards the high temperature. The ${\beta}$-peak which appears at low temperature is origined from dipoles and molecular motions in the amorphous region. As for the dependency of voltage by tan$\delta$, at low temperature the peak of the tan$\delta$, at low temperature the peak of the tan$\delta$ shifts accordingly to the increasement of irradiation dose towards the high temperature region.

  • This paper describes the electrical characteristics of Nomex paper employed as an insulating material of distribution transformers. The relative permittivities(dielectric constants) and $tan{\delta}$(dielectric dissipation factors) were measured as a dielectric characteristic and the partial discharge inception voltages(PDIVs) and breakdown voltages were also measured as an electrical strength characteristic of Nomex paper. As a result, the permittivity and $tan{\delta}$ of Nomex paper showed temperature and frequency dependency. Especially, the permittivity of 0.18mm Nomex paper was 2.4 according to the ASTM condition. And the PDIVs and breakdown voltages were, almost linearly increased with the thickness of Nomex paper and its electrical strength was better than conventional kraft paper.

  • Mechanical mixing법으로 ethylene propylene diene terpolymer (EPDM)과 ethylene propylene diene terpolymer (EPDM)과 acrylonitrile butadiene rubber (NBR) 블렌드 혼련물을 제조하여, 이들의 무늬 점도, 가교 거동, 영구 압축 줄음율 및 동적 기계적 성질 등을 검토하였다. Rheovibron에 의한 동적 특성 측정의 결과로부터 EPDM/NBR 블렌드는 -43$^{\circ}C$ 및 -4$^{\circ}C$ 부근에서 두 개의 전이를 보였으며 이를 각각 NBR 고무 및 EPDM 고무의 T$_{g}$로 해석하였다. tan${\delta}$ 피크의 위치는 NBR 고무의 함량이 증가함에 따라 고온 쪽으로 이동함을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 NBR 고무량이 증가할수록 최적 가황시간이 단축되는 경향을 보였다.

Effects of Ceramics on Dielectric Properties of Polystyrene / Ceramics Composites at Microwave Frequencies

  • Dependencies of dielectric properties on $MgTa_2O_6$, $MgNb_2O_6$, and $MgWO_4$ (Mg-based ceramics) fillers of the polystyrene (PS) matrix composites were investigated as a function of frequency. With increasing frequency from 1 GHz to 7.3 GHz, the dielectric constant (K) of the composites was not changed significantly, while the dielectric loss (tan${\delta}$) of the composites was slightly decreased. The K, tan${\delta}$, and temperature coefficient of resonant frequency (TCF) of the composites were dependent on the type and amount of ceramics at 11 GHz. Also, several theoretical models have been employed to predict the effective dielectric constant of the composites and the results were compared with experimental data. Typically, a K value of 6.67, tan${\delta}$ of $0.56{\times}10^{-3}$, and TCF of -4.99 $ppm/^{\circ}C$ were obtained for the PS composites with 0.4 volume fraction of $MgNb_2O_6$ at 11 GHz.

BR고무/결정성고무 블렌드의 물성에 미치는 온도 및 오존농도 등의 환경인자의 영향 (Effects of Environmental Factors such as Temperature and Ozone Concentration on the Properties of BR/Crystalline Rubber Blend)

  • 기계적 혼련법으로 butadiene rubber(BR)과 대표적인 결정성고무인 chloroprene rubber(CR) 블렌드 혼련물을 제조하여, 이들의 가교 거동, 기계적 성질, 내오존성 및 동적 기계적 성질 등을 검토하였다. 내오존시험에 있어서 50 wt% CR 고무의 첨가에 의하여 크게 개선됨을 확인할 수 있었다. Rheovibron에 의한 동적 계적 특성 측정의 결과로부터 BR/CR 블렌드는 두 개의 전이를 보였으며 $tan{\delta}$ 피이크의 위치는 CR 고무의 함량이 증가함에 따라 고온 쪽으로 이동함을 확인할 수 있었다. 한편 CR 고무량이 증가할수록 최적 가황시간이 증가하는 경향을 보였다.
