A measure of agreement H in$2{\times}2$ contingency table was proposed by Park and Park (2007) to resolve the two paradoxes of k. In this study, we generalize H to where the number of categories is greater than two and derive its asymptotic large-sample variance. We also explain the relationships between k's paradoxes and marginal distributions. Using some examples of $3{\times}3$ contingency tables, the behaviors of H and other measures of agreement are compared.

A back-gated MOSFET on silicon-on-insulator (SOI) substrate for pH sensor was investigated. We used concentrations of pH solution from 6 to 9. The fabricated back-gated MOSFET has current difference and threshold voltage shift by pH concentrations. Therefore, It can be used to simplification of conventional pH sensor.

Let $H$ be a separable, infinite dimensional, complex Hilbert space and let $L(H)$ be the algebra of all bounded linear operaors on $H$. A dual algebra is a subalgebra of $L(H)$ that contains the identity operator $I_H$ and is closed in the $weak^*$ topology on $L(H)$. Note that the ultraweak operator topology coincides with the $weak^*$ topology on $L(H)$ (see [5]).

Furo[3,2-h]quinoline derivatives were synthesized as a gastric $H^+$/$K^+$-ATPase inhibitors. The oxycyclization of 7 and 8-positions in quinoline potentiated the inhibitory activity, while no significant changes in biological activity were observed by the variation of substituents in furan ring. The several furo[3,2-h]quinoline derivatives were worthy of in vivo investigation for their anti-secretory and anti-ulcer activity.

We introduce the category ISet(H) of intuitionistic H-fuzzy sets and show that ISet(H) satisfies all the conditions of a topological universe except the terminal separator property. And we study the relation between Set(H) and ISet(H).

This paper presents deposition and characterizations of microcrystalline silicon(${\mu}c$-Si:H) films prepared by hot wire chemical vapor deposition at substrate temperature below $300^{\circ}C$. The $SiH_4$ Concentration$[F(SiH_4)/F(SiH_4)+F(H_2)]$ is critical parameter for the formation of Si films with microcrystalline phase. At 6% of silane concentration, deposited intrinsic ${\mu}c$-Si:H films shows sufficiently low dark conductivity and high photo sensitivity for solar cell applications. P-type ${\mu}c$-S:H films deposited by Hot-Wire CVD also shows good electrical properties by varying the rate of $B_2H_6$ to $SiH_4$ gas. The solar cells with structure of Al/nip ${\mu}c$-Si:H/TCO/glass was fabricated with sing1e chamber Hot-Wire CVD. About 3% solar efficiency was obtained and applicability of HWCVD for thin film solar cells was proven in this research.

Friction coefficient of SM45C steel was surprisingly reduced with $H_2S$ and $C_3H_8$ gas during plasma sulf-nitriding. During the plasma sulf-nitriding, 100-700 sccm of $H_2S$ gas and 100 sccm of $C_3H_8$ gas were added and working pressure and temperature were 2 torr, $500-550^{\circ}C$, respectively. As $H_2S$ gas amount increased over 500 sccm, flake-like structures were developed on top of the nitriding layer and grain size of the nitriding layer were about 100 nm. The friction coefficient for the sample treated plasma sulf-nitriding under $N_2-H_2S$ gas was 0.4 - 0.5. The structure became more finer and amorphous-like along with $N_2-H_2S-C_3H_8$ gas and the nano-sized surface microstructures resulted in high hardness and significantly low friction coefficient of 0.2.

DNase activity in Haemonchus contortus reproductive tissue was characterized and compared to that in whole worm. DNase activity in reproductive tissue was detected throughout pHs 4-10 with high activity under acidic conditions. The activity was not inhibited by 10 mM EDTA at pH 5.0, but largely inhibited by pH 7.0. The activity produced DNA fragments with mixtures of 3'-hydroxyls (OH) and 3'- phosphates (P) at each pH. Three distinct DNase activities were identified and had $M_rs$ of 34, 36 and 38.5 kDa in zymograms, which were distinguished according to pH requirement and sensitivity to EDTA. Among them, the 36 kDa reproductive tissue DNase had predominant activity at pH 5.0, but very weak at pH 7.0, and this activity was not inhibited by EDTA at pH 5.0. These characteristics of the 36 kDa reproductive tissue DNase resemble those of classic acidic DNases. In contrast, 36 kDa whole worm DNase activity had high activity at both pH 5.0 and 7.0. While the 36 kDa DNase activity at pH 5.0 was similar in both reproductive tissue and whole worm samples, the activity at pH 7.0 was predominantly detected in whole worm sample. This suggests that the 36 kDa whole worm DNase at pH 5.0 differs from that at pH 7.0. Thus, results indicate that the EDTA-insensitive 36 kDa DNase at pH 5.0 is specific for H. contortus reproductive tissue.
