초등학교 고학년을 위한 부모참여 성교육 프로그램 효과 (Effects of a Parent-Involvement Sex Education Program for High Primary-School Graders)

  • The study tried to develop a parent-involvement sex education program and find out its effects for more effective sex education methods for high graders of a primary school. The subjects were recruited from 5 classes of 6th graders in Y Primary School in N city, Kyeonggido province, South Korea. Data collection was done from October 4, 2003 to November 7. The experimental group consisted of 43 students from 3 classes with the help from class teachers and parents' involvement in the program. The control group consisted of 43 students randomly sampled by computer from the other two classes. For the experimental methods, the experimental group was given a parent-involvement sex education program as well as a student sex education program: the control group only received the student sex education program. The results were analyzed according to frequency, percentage, $x^2$-test, fisher's exact test and t-test using SAS program. As a result of the homogeneity test, both the groups proved to be the same (t=-0.29 p=0.77, t=0.49 p=0.62) in preliminary sex-attitude and sex-related communication frequency score. But the two group showed meaningful differences (t=2.52 p=0.01, t=2.04, p=0.04) in preliminary sex-knowledge and sex-related communication quality score. After the sex education programs, the two groups didn't show meaningful statistic differences(t=-0.42 p=0.68, t=1.57 p=0.12) in preliminary sex-knowledge and sex-related communication quality score. But the experimental group was statistically more meaningful (t=2.16 p=0.03, t=4.86 p<0.0001) in the difference of sex attitude and sex-related communication frequency than the control. The parent-involvement sex education program developed in this study was more effective for improving their sex attitude and for increasing the frequency of their sex-related communication with parents than the existing student program. Therefore, for sex education, it's necessary to develop and spread various programs where parents can be involved.

간호대학생을 위한 Hybrid 시뮬레이션 실습교육 프로그램의 효과: 복합 시나리오 적용 (The Effects of Hybird simulation practice program for Nursing students using Complex Scenario)

  • 연구는 Hybrid 시뮬레이션 실습교육 프로그램이 간호대학생의 비판적 사고 성향, 자기효능감, 의사소통능력 및 임상수행능력에 미치는 영향을 확인하기 위한 단일군 사전·사후 유사 실험 연구이다. 간호대학생 35명을 대상으로 2023년 4월 24일부터 5월 5일까지 수집된 자료는 SPSS 25.0 program을 이용하여 빈도분석, 평균, 표준편차, paired t-test로 분석하였다. 연구결과 시뮬레이션 프로그램 진행 후 간호대학생의 비판적 사고 성향(t=7.01, p<.001), 자기효능감(t=2.17, p=.037), 의사소통능력(t=2.70, p=.011), 임상수행능력(t=6.60, p<.001) 모두 통계적으로 유의하게 향상되었다. Hybrid 시뮬레이션 실습교육 프로그램은 고충실도-저충실도-역할극 등 다양한 학습 도구를 적용하여 간호대학생의 이론과 실습의 연계를 강화한다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

Flap rudder를 이용한 조종성능 평가 (Evaluation of the maneuverability of a real ship with flap rudder)

  • In order to offer specific information needed to assist in operation of a ship with same type rudder through evaluating the maneuverability of training ship A-Ra with flapped rudder, sea trials based full scale for turning test, zig-zag test with rudder angle 10° and 20°, and spiral test at service condition were carried out on starboard and port sides around Jeju Island according to the standards of maneuverability of IMO. As a result, the angular velocity of port turn was higher than that of starboard turn. Therefore, the size of turning circle was longer on the starboard side. In addition, variation of the transfer due to various factors was more stable than those of the others. In the Z-test results, the mean of 1st and 2nd overshoot angles were 9.8°, 6.3° and 15.3°, 9.2° respectively when the port and starboard was 10°; the 1st overshoot angle were 18°, 13.7° when using 20°. Her maneuverability index T' and K' can be easily determined by using a computer with the data obtained from Z-test where K' and T' are dimensionless constants representing turning ability and responsiveness to the helm, respectively. In the Z-test under flap rudder angle 10°, the obtained K' value covered the range of 2.37-2.87 and T' was 1.74-3.45. Under the flap rudder angle 20°, K' and T' value showed 1.43-1.63, 1.0-1.73, respectively. In the spiral test, the loop width was unstable at +0.3° and -0.5°-0.9° around the midship of flap rudder. As a result, course stability was comparatively good. From the sea trial results, training ship ARA met the present criterion in the standards of maneuverability of IMO.

리팜피신 제제의 생물학적 동등성시험(제2보) (Bioequivalence Test of Rifampicin Preparations(II))

  • Bioequivalence test of commercially available rifampicin capsules was performed. Sixteen volunteers were divided into 2 groups and the reference and test drug were given orally (450 mg) by cross-over design. Statistical evaluation of AUC, $C_{max}\;and\;T_{max}$ involved an analysis of variance (ANOVA). The differences of mean value in AUC, $C_{max}\;and\;T_{max}$ between the reference and test drug were within 20% with reference drug. ANOVA showed no significant differences for ‘between group’, ‘drug’ and ‘period’, but not for ‘between subjects’. The power of test $(1-{\beta})\;of\;AUC\;and\;$C_{max}$ was larger than 0.8 and the confidence of bioavailability was $within\;{\pm}20%$. From these results, it was concluded that the two preparations were bioequivalent for AUC and $C_{max}$, but was not for $T_{max}$.

지지간호중재가 암환아의 신체상 및 자존감에 미치는 영향 (Study on the Effects of the Supportive Nursing Intervention Program for Body Image and Self Esteem of the Child with Cancer)

  • The increased potential for the lifespan of a child with cancer is largely due to advances in drug treatment, radiation treatment, and surgical techniques. In this generation cancer has become associated with chronic illness. Therefore supportive nursing intervention for children with cancer is needed to promote normal growth and development. This study was designed to develop and test the supportive nursing intervention program for promoting body image and self-esteem of children with cancer The supportive nursing intervention program involved emotional, physical, informational, and social support. The subjects were 41 children with cancer(20 in intervention group, 21 in control group) in K city. Measurements were taken concerning body image and self-esteem from both groups during pre and post test The data were analyzed using Cronbach's alpha, x$^2$-test, paired t-test and t-test. The results were as follows : The intervention group had a more positive body image as measured by the Body Cathexis Scale (t=2.436, p=.020) and a more self esteem as measured by the Cpopersmith self-inventory (t=2.768, p=.009) than the control group at post test. According to this study, the supportive nursing intervention program was effective for promoting the body image and self-esteem of children with cancer. Repeated research is needed to develop a refined supportive nursing intervention program for children with chronic illness.

공감능력 향상 프로그램이 초등학생 어머니의 공감능력과 양육효능감에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of an Empathy Ability Improvement Program on Empathy Ability and Parenting Efficacy among Mothers of Elementary School Students)

  • Purpose: This study examined the effects of an empathy ability improvement program on empathy ability and parenting efficacy among mothers of elementary school students. Methods: This was a quasi-experimental study using a pre-test/post-test control group design. The experimental group (n=23) completed an empathy ability improvement program, while 22 mothers were assigned to the control group. Pre-test and post-test analyses were conducted using the empathy ability scale and parenting efficacy scale. The data were analyzed using the $x^2$ test and test independent t-test. Results: The experimental group showed a statistically significant improvement in empathy ability (t=2.79, d=4.48, p=.008) and parenting efficacy (t=2.87, d=0.89, p=.006) in comparison to the control group. Conclusion: The results of this study indicate that empathy education may be effective for improving empathy ability and parenting efficacy in mothers of school-age children.

섬백리향 정유의 진통, 항염증, 정신적인 작용 (Anti-nociceptive, Anti-inflammatory, Mental Effects of Essential Oil from Thymus magnus)

  • Thymus magnus is an endemic (Ulleung Island) species in Korea. This plant is used as diaphoretics and carminatives in traditional medicine. In the literature, few scientific assays were realized on this species, such as antibiotic (Streptococcus pneumoniae, Staphylococcus aureus, Salmonella enteritidis, and S. typhimurium) and antifungal activities. In order to clarify whether essential oil of T. magnus have pharmacological effects, anti-inflammatory, sedative, anti-depressant, analgesic, and sleep-prolonged effects were investigated using animal models. From this study, the following conclusions were attained; 1) Essential oil of T. magnus did not show any acute toxicity on mice when orally administered at the dose of 2-3 g/kg body weight. 2) Essential oil of T. magnus possessed strong anti-inflammatory activity, similar to that of a positive control prednisolone. 3) Essential oil of T. magnus had excellent analgesic activity, comparable to that of aspirin. 4) The essential oil of T. magnus possessed strong sleep-prolonged effect on pentobarbital induced-sleep test in mice model. 5) In the hot plate test, the essential oil of T. magnus had moderate effect. 6) And the essential oil of T. magnus had no significant effects in forced-swimming test and open-field test.

문제중심학습(Problem- Based Learning)이 간호대학생의 비판적 사고성향, 학업적 자기효능감 및 셀프리더십에 미치는 효과 -진단검사와 간호 교과목 중심으로- (The Effect of the Problem-Based Learning on Critical Thinking Disposition, Academic Self-Efficacy and Self-Leadership of Nursing Students -Diagnostic Tests and Nursing-)

  • 본 연구는 문제중심학습이 간호대학생의 비판적 사고성향, 학업적 자기효능감 및 셀프리더십에 미치는 효과를 규명하기 위해 시도되었다. 단일군 사전 -사후 설계로 26명의 간호대학생을 대상으로 진단검사와 간호 교과목에 총 4회기 8시간을 적용하였다. 자료수집은 2019년 8월 29일부터 12월 10까지로 수집된 자료는 SPSS/WIN 23.0을 이용하여 빈도, Kolmogorov-Smirnov, paried t-test, Wilcoxon signed-rank test로 분석하였다. 연구결과 문제중심 학습후 비판적 사고성향(t=-2.16, p=.041)과 학업적 자기효능감(z=-2.36, p=.018)은 유의하게 증가하였으나 셀프리더십(t=-.16, p=.875)은 유의하게 증가하지 않았다. 그러므로 이 연구결과를 바탕으로 다양한 교과목에 문제중심학습을 적용하여 간호대학생이 간호사 핵심역량을 함양하도록 하여야 할 것을 제언한다.

  • 일반적으로 각 N개의 모집단에서 2개 이상의 표본이 추출되었을 때, $H_0:{\mu}_1={\cdots}={\mu}_N$의 가설에 대하여 검정할 수 있지만 각 모집단으로부터 표본이 한 개씩 추출된다면 ${\bar{X}}$가 존재하지 않으므로 모평균의 차이 검정은 불가능하다. 하지만 하나씩 추출된 표본으로 구성된 집단을 두 집단으로 나누어 임의의 평균을 생성함으로써 평균의 차이를 비교한다면 표본들 사이에 존재할 수 있는 이질성을 파악할 수 있다. 따라서 우리는 두 집단으로 나눌 수 있는 조합의 수만큼 평균 차이를 검정할 수 있는 최소 조합 t-검정 방법을 제안하고자 한다. 최종적으로 본 논문에서는 한 개씩 추출된 표본들 사이의 이질성을 확인하기 위하여 평균 차이를 검정할 수 있는 방법을 제안하였고 모의실험 연구를 통해 성능을 확인하였고 실제 자료 분석을 통해 결과를 도출하였다.

레크리에이션병합 체조프로그램이 후기 여성노인의 체력, 우울, 인지기능 및 삶의 질에 미치는 효과 (Effects of a Recreational Combination Gymnastics Program for Old-old Women)

  • Purpose: In this study a recreational combination gymnastics program was provided for women 75 years of age or older and the effects on physical fitness (grip strength, static balance, ability to do complex movement), depression, cognitive function and quality of life were examined. Methods: A quasi-experimental study employing a nonequivalent control group, pre-post design was conducted. Participants included 53 women elders whose cognitive function was within the normal range. The women were assigned to an experimental group (27) or a control group (26). The intervention was conducted twice a week for a period of 12 weeks. Chi-square test, t-test, paired t-test, Wilcoxon rank sum test and Wilcoxon signed rank test were used for data analysis. Results: Following completion of the program, left grip strength (t=2.17, p=.035), right grip strength (t=2.04, p=.046), static balance (t=-2.18, p=.030), depression (z=-2.88, p=.004), cognitive function (t=3.96, p<.001), and quality of life (t=-3.19, p=.002) were significantly better in the experimental group. Conclusion: Findings from this study indicate that recreational combination gymnastics programs are effective in enhancing physical fitness, cognitive function, and quality of life and in decreasing depression for female elders and could therefore be regarded as positive programs for promotion of physical and mental health for older women.
