중온형 고체산화물 연료전지를 위한 YSZ 전해질에서의 고성능 공기극 연구 (Study on high performance cathode on YSZ electrolyte for intermediate-temperature solid oxide fuel cells(IT-SOFC))

  • [ $La_{0.8}Sr_{0.2}Co_{1-x}Mn_xO_3$ ] cathode as a high performance cathode on YSZ electrolyte was studied by analyzing impedance spectra. It was shown that cathode property of $La_{0.8}Sr_{0.2}Co_{1-x}Mn_xO_3$ is bet ter than that of$La_{0.8}Sr_{0.2}CoO_3$. At $700^{\circ}C$ in air environment, $La_{0.8}Sr_{0.2}Co_{0.4}Mn_{0.6}O_3$ cathode on CGO- layered YSZ electrolyte showed very low area specific resistance of $0.14{\Omega}cm^2$, which is low enough for intermediate-temperature sol id oxide fuel cells. This is because material properties of ionic conductivity and thermal expansion compatibility with electrolyte were optimized. Judging from activation energy and oxygen part i al pressure dependance of cathode property, it was noted that oxygen surface exchange kinetics is dominantly influential on cathode property in higher temperature region than $700^{\circ}C$ and oxygen self-diffusion in cathode material is more influential in lower temperature region.

Effect of Sintering Temperature on Structural and Dielectric Properties of (Ba0.54Sr0.36Ca0.10)TiO3 Thick Films

  • Barium strontium calcium titanate powders were prepared with the sol-gel method. Ferroelectric $(Ba_{0.54}Sr_{0.36}Ca_{0.1})TiO_3$(BSCT) thick films were fabricated by the screen-printing method on alumina substrate. Then we investigated the structural and dielectric properties of the BSCT thick films at different sintering temperatures. The thermal analysis showed that the BSCT polycrystalline perovskite phase formed at around $660^{\circ}C$. The X-ray diffraction analysis showed a cubic perovskite structure with no second phase present in all of the BSCT thick films. The average grain size and the thickness of the specimens sintered at $1450^{\circ}C$ were about $1.6{\mu}m$ and $45{\mu}m$, respectively. The relative dielectric constant increased and the dielectric loss decreased as the sintering temperature was increased; for BSCT thick films sintered at $1450^{\circ}C$ the values of the dielectric constant and the dielectric loss were 5641 and 0.4%, respectively, at 1 kHz.

한국인 사회공포증 환자에서 도파민 D2 수용체 TaqI A 유전자 다형성 : 예비적 연구 (Dopamine D2 Receptor Gene TaqI A Polymorphism in Korean Social Phobia Patients : Preliminary Study)

  • Objective : It is suggested that disturbance of dopaminergic system might be related to the possible mechanism of social phobia. The aim of this study was to investigate the possible association of DRD2 TaqI polymorphism and social phobia. Method : Fifty-one patients with social phobia and 200 comparison subjects were tested for DRD2 TaqI A polymorphism. The severity of social phobic symptoms was measured by self-report version of the Liebowitz Social Anxiety Scale(LSAS-SR) and Hamilton anxiety scale(HAM-A). Results : There was no signigicant difference in the genotype, allele frequency, A1 carrier frequency, and heterozygote frequency DRD2 TaqI A polymorphism between the social phobia patients and the control groups. However, we found significant decrease in somatic anxiety of the HAM-A in the patients having A2A2 homozygotes(p=0.014). In addition, patients having A1A2 heterozygotes showed more anxiety in two subscales (p=0.042 in anxiety, p=0.019 in performance) of the LSAS-SR. Conclusion : These results suggest that DRD2 A2 homozygote might have a protective role against somatic anxiety, and molecular heterosis of DRD2 TaqI A polymorphism might be related with more severe anxiety in social phobia.

${Nb_2}{O_5}$와 MnO 첨가가 ${Pb_{0.6}}{Sr_{0.4}}{TiO_3}$ 반도체 세라믹의 전기적 특성에 미치는 영향 (Influences of ${Nb_2}{O_5}$ and MnO Addition on the Electrical Properties of ${Pb_{0.6}}{Sr_{0.4}}{TiO_3}$Semiconducting Ceramics)

  • Nb$_2$O$_{5}$와 MnO 첨가에 따른 Pb$_{0.6}$Sr$_{0.4}$TiO$_3$반도체 세라믹의 미세구조와 전기적 특성은 유전특성, I(current)-V(voltage) 측정, 그리고 복소 임피던스 측정 등을 이용하여 고찰하였다. Nb 도핑량이 0.4 mol% 이하인 경우 Nb 도핑량에 따라 전도성과 입성장은 증가되었으나 그 이상의 도핑량에서는 Sr이나 Pb 공공의 생성으로 인하여 전도성이 감소되고 입성장도 억제되는 것을 관찰할 수 있었다. 0.4 mol% Nb-doped Pb$_{0.6}$Sr$_{0.4}$TiO$_3$에 0.01 mol% MnO를 첨가한 경우 비저항비($ ho$$_{max}$/$\rho$/min/)가 $10^2$에서 $10^4$으로 크게 향상되었다. 그리고 전이 온도 주변에서 여러 개의 변곡점을 지니는 비옴성 거동이 발견되었다. 이와 같은 현상은 입계에 존재하는 Mn 이온이 부분적으로 편석되어 표면 전하의 보상 효과에 영향을 미치는 것이라고 사료된다.

Ba0.5Sr0.5Co0.8Fe0.2O3-δ 중공사 분리막의 제조 및 물성 (Fabrication and Property of Ba0.5Sr0.5Co0.8Fe0.2O3-δ Hollow Fiber Membranes)

  • 외경 1.02 mm, 내경 0.437 mm를 갖는 $Ba_{0.5}Sr_{0.5}Co_{0.8}Fe_{0.2}O_{3-{\delta}}$ 중공사를 상전이 방적기술로 제조하였다. 초기 $Ba_{0.5}Sr_{0.5}Co_{0.8}Fe_{0.2}O_{3-{\delta}}$ 선구 분말은 착체중합법을 이용하여 합성하였고, $900^{\circ}C$에서 하소하였다. 합성한 분말을 고분자 용액에 분산시킨 후 이중관형 노즐을 통해 중공사를 사출하였다. 최종적으로 산소분리에 사용 가능한 치밀 $Ba_{0.5}Sr_{0.5}Co_{0.8}Fe_{0.2}O_{3-{\delta}}$ 중공사막을 $1,080^{\circ}C$에서 2 시간 동안 소결하여 얻을 수 있었다. 또한 0.58 mm의 매우 얇은 분리막임에도 불구하고, BSCF 중공사 분리막은 602.5 MPa의 적당한 기계적 강도를 유지하였다.

Facile Synthesis of SrWO4:Eu3+ Phosphors

  • Recently, synthesis of low-dimensional nanostructures is gaining more importance due to their structural properties and growing potential applications. On the other hand, luminescent materials doped with rare earth ions have drawn immense attention. The commercial phosphors are based on many host materials. Among them, tungstates are being currently investigated by many research groups owing to a wide range of applications. Tungstates are formed by different metal cations (e.g., SrWO4, Na2WO4, NiWO4, Cr2WO6, and ZrW2O8) and their structure depends on the size of the metal cation. Tungstates with large bivalent cations (${\gg}0.1\;nm$) have the scheelite structure and the wolframite structure with smaller ions (<0.1 nm). Strontium tungstate has the scheelite structure which is tetragonal with space group I41/a. The luminescent properties of the tungstate have been extensively explored in application fields such as sensors, detectors, lasers, photoluminiscent devices, photo catalysts, etc. In this work, we synthesized SrWO4 phosphors with different Eu3+ concentrations by using a facile route. The morphology was analyzed by using a field-emission scanning electron microscope, which exhibits the spherical shape. Transmission electron microscope image revealed the spheres composed of nanoparticles. X-ray diffraction patterns confirmed their tetragonal shape. The photoluminescence excitation and emission spectra were analyzed by varying the Eu3+ concentration, which shows a dominant red emission.

BST-MgO 강유전체 후막의 가변 튜닝 특성에 관한 연구 (A study on the tunning properties of BST-MgO thick film)

  • In this study, tunable dielectric materials are important for resonator, variable capacitor, phased array antenna and other devices application. In this paper, Dielectric constant increased and tuning range increased with the increased of $BaSrTiO_3/Li_{2}CO_{3}$ content, which probably can be explained by the substitution of Ba3+, Li1+ on BaTiO3 lattice. The tunability and dielectric loss of the $BaSrTiO_2/Li_{2}CO_{3}$ thick film, sintered at $1150^{\circ}C$, were about 43 % and 0.234 at 10$\sim$15 MHz, respectively. In case of BaSrTi/MgO, Dielectric constant decreased and tenability increased with the added of $BaSrTiO_3/MgO$. The ferroelectrics properties were distinct when adding Li to BST ceramic thick film, and paraelectrics pattern was distinct when adding Mg.

  • In this paper, the structural and electrical properties of the $Sr_{1-x}Ca_xTiO_3$($0{\leq}x{\leq}0.2$)-based grain boundary layer ceramics were investigated by X-ray, SEM and V-I system. Increasing content of Ca, the average gram size and the lattice constant were decreased. The relative density of all specimens was > 96%. The 2nd phase formed by thermal diffusing from the surface lead to a very excellent electrical properties, that is, ${\varepsilon}_r$ > 50000, tan${\delta}$ < 0.05, $\Delta$C < ${\pm}$ 10%.

강유전성 박막의 형성 및 수소화 된 비정질실리콘과의 접합 특성 (The Contact Characteristics of Ferroelectrics Thin Film and a-Si:H Thin Film)

  • 본 연구에서는 박막트랜지스터의 특성 향상을 위하여 강유전성 박막을 게이트 절연층으로 사용하기 위하여 강유전성 박막과 a-Si:H의 계면특성을 조사하였다. 먼저 강유전성 박막 중에 대표적인 SrTiO$_3$를 I-BEAM 증착기로 박막을 형성시켰다. 형성된 박막은 N2 분위기에서 $150^{\circ}C∼600^{\circ}C$로 1시간 ANNEALING하여 전자현미경으로 표면을 측정하였다. SrTiO$_3$의 유전상수는 50∼100 정도였으며 항복전계는 1∼l.5 MV/cm로 매우 우수한 유전특성을 갖고 있었다. 강유전체 박막 위에 a-SiN:H,a-Si:H(n-type a-Si:H) 등을 PECVD로 증착하여 MFNS구조를 형성하였다. 계면특성을 C-V PLOTTER로 측정한 결과 SrTiO$_3$ 박막은 SiN과의 접합이 매우 안정되어 있었고 C-V특성은 SiN/a-Si:H과 유사하였다. 그러나 FERROELECTRIC/a-S:H의 경우가 훨씬 CAPACITANCE 값이 컸으며, 이는 강유전체 박막의 높은 유전상수에 기인 된 것이라 생각된다.
