화학처리(化學處理) Silica의 SBR에 대한 보강효과(補强效果)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究) (Study on the Chemical Treatment of Silica for SBR Reinforcement)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate reinforced effect between silica treated by coupling agents and rubber matrix under the configuration chemical bonds, and the effect of silica particles coated by organic polymers using aluminum chloride as the catalyst. In vulcanization characteristies were tested by Curastometer. The M-series vulcanizates were reached to the fastest optimum cure $time(t_{90})$ and R-series vulcanizates with the same formula had the shorted optimum cure times. Tensile characteristics measuring with a tensile tester revealed that the M-series vulcanizate was the best in the physical properties, such as tensile strength. In 100% modulus, however, the S-series vulcanizates appeared to be better than the other vulcanizates. Also, hardness showed the following order : S-series>R-series>M-series with the order of elongation R-series>M-series>S-series. In SEM test, shapes of chemical treated silicas were observed. The dispersion of filler in the SBR composite appeard uniformly. In RDS test for the dynamic characteristics, G' indicates that S-3 shows the highest value with the next order M-3>R-3, and the order of damping values are as followe: M-3>M-3>R-3.

CONTACT THREE CR-SUBMANIFOLDS OF A (4m + 3)-DIMENSIONAL UNIT SPHERE

  • We study an (n+3)($n\;{\geq}\;7-dimensional$ real submanifold of a (4m+3)-unit sphere $S^{4m+3}$ with Sasakian 3-structure induced from the canonical quaternionic $K\"{a}hler$ structure of quaternionic (m+1)-number space $Q^{m+1}$, and especially determine contact three CR-submanifolds with (p-1) contact three CR-dimension under the equality conditions given in (4.1), where p = 4m - n denotes the codimension of the submanifold. Also we provide necessary conditions concerning sectional curvature in order that a compact contact three CR-submanifold of (p-1) contact three CR-dimension in $S^{4m+3}$ is the model space $S^{4n_1+3}(r_1){\times}S^{4n_2+3}(r_2)$ for some portion $(n_1,\;n_2)$ of (n-3)/4 and some $r_1,\;r_2$ with $r^{2}_{1}+r^{2}_{2}=1$.

Quantification of Gadolinium Concentration Using GRE and UTE Sequences

  • Purpose: To compare different MR sequences for quantification of gadolinium concentration. Materials and Methods: Gadolinium contrast agents were diluted into 36 different concentrations. They were scanned using gradient echo (GRE) and ultrashort echo time (UTE) and R1, $R2^*$ and phase values were estimated from collected data. For analysis, ROI masks were made for each concentration and then ROI value was measured by mean and standard deviation from the estimated quantitative maps. Correlation analysis was performed and correlation coefficient was calculated. Results: Using GRE sequence, R1 showed a strong linear correlation at concentrations of 10 mM or less, and $R2^*$ showed a strong linear correlation between 10 to 100 mM. The phase of GRE generally exhibited a negative linear relationship for concentrations of 100 mM or less. In the case of UTE, the phase had a strong negative linear relationship at concentrations 100 mM or above. Conclusion: R1, which was calculated by conventional GRE, showed a high performance of quantification for lower concentrations, with a correlation coefficient of 0.966 (10 mM or less). $R2^*$ showed stronger potential for higher concentrations with a correlation coefficient of 0.984 (10 to 100 mM), and UTE phase showed potential for even higher concentrations with a correlation coefficient of 0.992 (100 mM or above).

동일한 유입온도조건에서 R134a와 R22 적용 응축기의 특성비교 (Comparison of Condenser Characteristics using R134a and R22 under the Same Inlet Temperature Condition)

  • 본 연구에서는 상용 냉동 공조기기에서 사용하고 있는 휜-관 열교환기에서 R22와 이의 대체냉매로 채용하고 있는 R134a 압력강하와 열전달 특성에 대해 실험적으로 연구하였다. 실험은 입구온도 $60^{\circ}C$, 질량유량 $150,\;200,\;250\;kg/m^{2}s$의 범위에 대해 수행하였다. 이때 공기의 유입조건은 전구온도 $35^{\circ}C$, 상대습도 40%, 공기유속은 $0.68{\sim}1.6m/s$이다. 실험 결과 응축기 출구의 과냉도를 $5^{\circ}C$로 유지한 경우 Rl34a의 필요공기유속은 R22보다 5.9%작게 나타났으며, R134a의 압력강하는 R22보다 $18.1{\sim}20.4%$의 범위 내에서 크게 나타났다.

Submanifolds of Codimension 3 in a Complex Space Form with Commuting Structure Jacobi Operator

  • Let M be a semi-invariant submanifold with almost contact metric structure (𝜙, 𝜉, 𝜂, g) of codimension 3 in a complex space form Mn+1(c) for c ≠ 0. We denote by S and R𝜉 be the Ricci tensor of M and the structure Jacobi operator in the direction of the structure vector 𝜉, respectively. Suppose that the third fundamental form t satisfies dt(X, Y) = 2𝜃g(𝜙X, Y) for a certain scalar 𝜃 ≠ 2c and any vector fields X and Y on M. In this paper, we prove that if it satisfies R𝜉𝜙 = 𝜙R𝜉 and at the same time S𝜉 = g(S𝜉, 𝜉)𝜉, then M is a real hypersurface in Mn(c) (⊂ Mn+1(c)) provided that $\bar{r}-2(n-1)c{\leq}0$, where $\bar{r}$ denotes the scalar curvature of M.

미세균열의 간격 분포를 이용한 결의 평가(II) (Evaluation for Rock Cleavage Using Distribution of Microcrack Spacings (II))

  • 거창지역의 쥬라기 화강암에서 발달하는 결의 특성을 분석하였다. 3개 면, 3개 결에 대한 평가는 (1) 미세균열의 간격의 빈도수(N), (2) 총 간격(${\leq}1mm$), (3) 평균 간격($S_{mean}$), (4) 평균 간격과 중앙 간격($S_{median}$) 사이의 차이값($S_{mean}-S_{median}$), (5) 간격의 밀도(${\rho}$), (6) 도표의 전체구간에 대한 두 지수 사이의 차이값(${\lambda}_H-{\lambda}_L$), (7) 지수의 평균값(${\lambda}_M$), (8) 지수의 상수의 평균값($a_M$), (9) 최초 교차점 이하의 구간에 대한 두 지수 사이의 차이값(${\lambda}t_H-{\lambda}t_L$), (10) 지수의 평균값(${\lambda}t_M$) 및 (11) 지수의 상수의 평균값($at_M$)과 같은 파라미터를 이용하여 수행하였다. 3개 결 그리고 3개 면에 대한 파라미터의 값 사이의 상관성 분석의 결과는 다음과 같다. (I) 파라미터(1, 2, 7 및 8) 및 (II) 파라미터(3, 4 및 5)의 값은 (I) H(3번 결, (H1 + H2)/2) < G(2번 결, (G1 + G2)/2) < R(1번 결, (R1 + R2)/2) 및 (II) R < G < H의 순서이다. 반면에 3개 면에 대한 상기 두 그룹(I~II)의 파라미터의 값은 역순을 보여준다. 그 외에도, 3개 면에 대한 파라미터 $6({\lambda}_H-{\lambda}_L)$, 파라미터 $9({\lambda}t_H-{\lambda}t_L)$, 파라미터 $10({\lambda}t_M)$ 및 파라미터 $11(at_M)$의 값은 각각 R(1번 면, (G1 + H2)/2) < H(3번 면, (R2 + G2)/2) < G(2번 면, (R1 + H2)/2), H < G < R, H < R < G 및 R < H < G의 순이다. 3개 결에 대한 상기 네 파라미터의 값은 R < H < G, R < H < G, H < G < R 및 H < G < R의 다양한 순을 각각 보여준다. 한편, 두 방향의 도표 사이의 최초 접촉점 및 교차점에 해당되는 간격값을 도출하였다. 3개 결에 대한 상기 간격값은 1번 결(R1 및 R2) < 2번 결(G1 및 G2) < 3번 결(H1 및 H2)의 순이다. 3개 면에 대한 간격값은 1번 면(G1 및 H1) < 3번 면(R2 및 G2) < 2번 면(R1 및 H2)의 순이다. 특히 3개 결과 3개 면에 대한 교차각은 1번 결 및 1번 면 < 3번 결 및 3번 면 < 2번 결 및 2번 면의 순이다. 따라서, 1번 결(R1 및 R2) 및 1번 면(G1 및 H1)의 두 도표는 보다 높은 접촉점 또는 교차점의 빈도수를 보여준다. 이러한 변화 특성은 3개 면 및 3개 결의 종합도를 통하여 도출하였다. 마지막으로, 분포 형태와 함께 파라미터의 값을 통한 상관성 분석은 3개 채석면의 판별에 유용하다.

촉침식표면거칠기 측정기에 있어서 촉침의 선단곡률반경과 측정압이 측정에 미치는 영향 (The Influence by Stylus Tip Radius and Measuring force on the Stylus Type Surface Roughness Tester)

  • The measuring Method by stylus, which measures surface roughness, has been widely used since G. Schmaltz developed the first equipment of that type. Withe the resent development of the measuring method by stylus, surface foughness testing instruments of the very high magnification ratio, hundreds of thousands, are manu- factured. However, as the techniques of the high precision roughness measurement are being required, the response problems due to the tip shapes and the plastic deformations of measured surface of mild material are to be serious factors. In this study, diamond stylus of tip radius $0.5\mu\textrm{m}$, $2\mu\textrm{m}$, $5\mu\textrm{m}$ and $10\mu\textrm{m}$ were used under the measuring force of 0.01gf, 0.02gf, 0.07gf, 0.4gf and 1.6gf, and from the experimental data, maximum measured value devrements between $2\mu\textrm{mR}$ stylus and $5\mu\textrm{mR}$ stylus, $2\mu\textrm{mR}$ stylus and $10\mu\textrm{mR}$ stylus are 22% and 31%, respectively when the measured value of $2\mu\textrm{mR}$ stylus goes to $0.01\mu\textrm{m Ra}$, $\lambda$ c2.5mm. And it is shown that plastic deformations on the plastic deformations on the measured surface are proportional to W/R(W;measured force, R;stylus tip radius).

RINGS WITH IDEAL-SYMMETRIC IDEALS

  • Let R be a ring with identity. An ideal N of R is called ideal-symmetric (resp., ideal-reversible) if $ABC{\subseteq}N$ implies $ACB{\subseteq}N$ (resp., $AB{\subseteq}N$ implies $BA{\subseteq}N$) for any ideals A, B, C in R. A ring R is called ideal-symmetric if zero ideal of R is ideal-symmetric. Let S(R) (called the ideal-symmetric radical of R) be the intersection of all ideal-symmetric ideals of R. In this paper, the following are investigated: (1) Some equivalent conditions on an ideal-symmetric ideal of a ring are obtained; (2) Ideal-symmetric property is Morita invariant; (3) For any ring R, we have $S(M_n(R))=M_n(S(R))$ where $M_n(R)$ is the ring of all n by n matrices over R; (4) For a quasi-Baer ring R, R is semiprime if and only if R is ideal-symmetric if and only if R is ideal-reversible.

INJECTIVE PROPERTY RELATIVE TO NONSINGULAR EXACT SEQUENCES

  • We investigate modules M having the injective property relative to nonsingular modules. Such modules are called "$\mathcal{N}$-injective modules". It is shown that M is an $\mathcal{N}$-injective R-module if and only if the annihilator of $Z_2(R_R)$ in M is equal to the annihilator of $Z_2(R_R)$ in E(M). Every $\mathcal{N}$-injective R-module is injective precisely when R is a right nonsingular ring. We prove that the endomorphism ring of an $\mathcal{N}$-injective module has a von Neumann regular factor ring. Every (finitely generated, cyclic, free) R-module is $\mathcal{N}$-injective, if and only if $R^{(\mathbb{N})}$ is $\mathcal{N}$-injective, if and only if R is right t-semisimple. The $\mathcal{N}$-injective property is characterized for right extending rings, semilocal rings and rings of finite reduced rank. Using the $\mathcal{N}$-injective property, we determine the rings whose all nonsingular cyclic modules are injective.

Anti-Candida Activity of YH-1715R, a New Triazole Derivative

  • YH-1715R, (2R,3R)-2-(2,4-difluorophenyl)-3-(3-methoxy-1,2,4-isothiazol-3-yl-thio)-1-( 1H-1,2,4-triazol-l-yl)-2-butanol, a new triazole derivative obtained by the structural modification of fluconazole, was found to exhibit potent anti-Candida activity against a wide variety of Candida albicans (C. albicans) (MIC: 0.4-12.5 mg/l). To investigate the mode of action of YH-1715R, its effect on ergosterol biosynthesis in cell-free extracts and whole cells of C. albicans was examined. The inhibitory activity of YH-1715R was approximately ten-fold higher than that of fluconazole. To determine the primary action mechanism of YH-1715R, its inhibitory activity against lanosterol $14\alpha$-demethylase (14$\alpha$-DM), a major target for azole, was measured using gas-liquid chromatography. YH-1715R and fluconazole were found to inhibit 14a-DM with an $IC_{50}$ of 0.015 $\mu$M and 0.01$8\mu$M, respectively, plus the mode of inhibition of YH-1715R and fluconozole was noncompetitive with a $K_i$ of 0.0533$\mu$M and 0.0975$\mu$M.
