Based on his analysis of judgement forms in intuitionistic type theory, Martin-L$\ddot{o}$f claims that the usual logical laws and interesting mathematical judgements are synthetic, not analytic. He further claims that the logic of analytic judgements is decidable and complete, while the logic of synthetic judgements is undecidable and incomplete. The aim of this article is to clarify and examine his claims. In section 1, I explain and give some comments on the monomorphic version of intuitionistic type theory. In section 2, after clarifying Martin-L$\ddot{o}$f's distinction between analytic and synthetic judgements, I examine some possible objections to it and evaluate the thesis that the usual logical laws and interesting mathematical judgements are synthetic. In section 3, I clarify and examine the thesis that the logic of analytic judgements is decidable and complete, while the logic of synthetic judgements is undecidable and incomplete.

In this paper, we investigate higher-order linear differential equations with entire coefficients of iterated order. We improve and extend the result of L. Z. Yang by using the estimates for the logarithmic derivative of a transcendental meromorphic function due to Gundersen and the extended Wiman-Valiron theory by Wang and Yi. We also consider the nonhomogeneous linear differential equations.

Let E be an elliptic curve over $\mathbb{Q}$. Using Iwasawa theory, we give what seems to be the first general upper bound for the order of vanishing of the p-adic L-function at s = 0, and the $\mathbb{Z}_p$-corank of the Tate-Shafarevich group for all sufficiently large good ordinary primes p.

The primary purpose of this study is to investigate the applicability of content and formal schemata for processing the scientific texts which encompass the human knowledge of the physical world. In general, schema theory is based on the culture-oriented background of a text. From this point of view, the problem as to whether both content and formal schemata are applicable to the comprehension of a scientific text deserves a focal attention in terms of information processing modes. The results of empirical study indicate that whereas the universality of general knowledge content about the natural world attenuates the tenets of schema theory, the rhetorical organization of scientific texts encourages the application of the schema-based approach; the reader's familiarity with the structural patterns of a text facilitates his reading comprehension.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine effects of a dietary program based on self-efficacy theory on dietary adherence, physical status and quality of life (QoL) in hemodialysis patients. Methods: A non-equivalent control group pre-post test design was used. The intervention group received the dietary program for 8 weeks from August 4 to September 26, 2014. The control group received only usual care. Results: ANCOVA showed that dietary adherence (F=64.75, p <.001) was significantly different between the two groups. Serum albumin (F=12.13, p =.001), interdialytic weight gain (F=56.97, p <.001), calories (F=15.80, p <.001) as physical status indices were significantly different, but serum potassium (F=2.69, p =.106) and serum phosphorus (F=1.08, p =.303) showed no significant difference between the two groups. In terms of health-related QoL, the physical component scale (F=10.05, p =.002) and the mental component scale (F=16.66, p <.001) were significantly different between the two groups. In addition, in terms of diet related QoL, diet level (F=35.33, p <.001) and satisfaction level (F=15.57, p <.001) were significantly different between the two groups, but dietary impact level (F=1.23, p =.271) was not significantly different. Conclusion: Findings show that the dietary program based on self-efficacy theory is an effective nursing intervention program to improve adherence to diet, and to maintain physical status and QoL for hemodialysis patients.

In this paper, we present a low-profile ultra-wide band half-wavelength loop antenna for UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) applications. The proposed antenna has an ultra-wide band using self-complementary principle. Also, the ground was located between radiators for reducing height of the antenna using image theory. Dimensions of proposed antenna have $0.20{\lambda}_L{\times}0.14{\lambda}_L{\times}0.16{\lambda}_L$ (${\lambda}_L$ is the free-space wavelength at lowest frequency). Measured -10 dB bandwidth was ultra-wide band as more than 50 : 1(over 0.3 GHz ~15 GHz). The radiation patterns of the antenna was omnidirectional like monopole antennas. Moreover, we tried the antenna mounted on under a fuselage of a scaled UAV. As a result, the proposed antenna on the UAV maintained ultra-wide band and omnidirectional radiation patterns at all frequencies.

An approximate theory of circular chlindrical shells under arbitrary load is derived on the basis of Vlasov's semimembrane theory. With this approximate theory concrete cylindrical shells subjected to wind loading is analized and its accuracy is investigated with the results of Donnell's equation. In this study the foollowing results are abtained : (1) The expression of .kappa.$\_$2/=.part.$\^$2/.omega./.part. s$\^$2/ for the change of curvature gives much simplicated closed form colution. (2) This approximate theory is to be applicable with sufficient accuracy in the stress analysis of concrete cylindreical shells which the ratio L/D is equal or greater than three.

In this paper we consider the second order generalized difference scheme for the two-point boundary value problem and ob-tain optimal order error estimates in $L^\infty$ and $W^{1,\infty}$ The results in this paper perfect the theory of the second order generalized difference method.
