아산화동과 황산간의 고속 화학반응에 의한 미세 Cu 입자의 합성과 삼본밀에 의한 분산성 개선 (Synthesis of Cu Nanoparticles through a High-Speed Chemical Reaction between Cuprous Oxide and Sulfuric Acid and Enhancement of Dispersion by 3-Roll Milling)

  • 도전 페이스트의 필러로 사용되기 위한 미세 Cu 입자를 제조하기 위하여 아산화동 분말과 황산간의 고속 화학 반응을 이용한 증류수 기반의 습식 공정으로 Cu 입자의 합성을 실시하였다. $7^{\circ}C$에서 48%의 황산과 30 g의 $Cu_2O$를 사용한 조건에서 미반응 $Cu_2O$ 입자들이 제거되면서 입자들간의 응집이 개선된 순수 Cu 나노입자들이 제조되었다. 이후 최적 첨가제의 선택을 통하여 입자들간의 응집이 가장 억제된 224 nm 크기의 Cu 입자들을 제조할 수 있었다. 이러한 미세 Cu 입자 시료에서는 응집된 형태의 조대 입자들이 다소 존재하였고 입자들간의 연결부도 일부 관찰되었으나, 삼본밀을 사용한 레진 포물레이션과의 혼합 후에는 응집된 형태의 조대 입자들이 파괴되고 입자들간의 연결부들이 탈착되어 입자들의 응집이 풀리는 거동을 관찰할 수 있었다.

Physical Properties of PNN-PMN-PZT Doped with Zinc Oxide and CLBO for Ultrasonic Transducer

  • In this paper, to develop the ceramics with high $d_{33}$ and high $Q_m$ for ultrasonic transducer applications, $0.10Pb(Ni_{1/3}Nb_{2/3})O_3-0.07Pb(Mn_{1/3}Nb_{2/3})O_3-0.83Pb(Zr_{0.5}Ti_{0.5})_{0.83}O_3$ (PNN-PMN-PZT) ceramics were sintered at $940^{\circ}C$ using $CuO-Li_2CO_3-Bi_2O_3$ (CLBO) as a sintering aid by a traditional solid-state technique. The influence of zinc oxide additive on the physical properties of the prepared ceramics were systematically investigated. The R-T (rhombohedral-tetragonal) phase coexistence was found in the ceramics without zinc oxide additive and with increasing amounts of ZnO additive, the specimens showed a tetragonal phase. The formation of a liquid phase between ZnO and $Bi_2O_3$ contributed significantly to the grain growth of specimens. For the 0.1 wt% ZnO ceramics, the optimal physical properties of $d_{33}=370pC/N$, ${\varepsilon}_r=1,344$, $k_p=0.621$, and $Q_m=1,523$ were obtained.

GC/microreactor를 이용한 소성온도에 따른 CuO-Fe2O3 흡수제의 탈황성능 (Desulfurization Ability of CuO-Fe2O3 Sorbents with Respect to the Calcination Temperature by GC/microreactor)

  • 본 연구에서는 주 반응물질로 CuO를 사용하고, $Fe_2O_3$의 함량을 7.5 wt%, 15 wt%, 22.5 wt%로 변화시키고, 지지체 $SiO_2$의 함량을 25 wt%로 고정하여 흡수제를 제조하였다. 특히 소성온도의 변화에 따른 흡수제의 탈황성능의 변화를 조사하기 위하여, 흡수제의 소성 온도를 700, 900 그리고 $1,100^{\circ}C$로 달리하여 흡수제를 제조하였다. 제저된 흡수제는 GC/소형반응기를 이용하여 사이클 실험을 하였으며, 이때 흡수제의 황화온도는 $500^{\circ}C$, 재생온도는 $700^{\circ}C$로 하였다. 반응 전후의 XRD 분석을 통하여 화합물의 형태를 확인하였으며, BET 분석을 통하여 소성온도의 변화에 따른 흡수제의 표면적 변화를 조사하였다. 또한, 장기사이클에서 $700^{\circ}C$에서 소성된 CFS3 흡수제(CuO : $Fe_2O_3$ : $SiO_2$=52.5 wt% : 22.5 wt% : 25 wt%)의 $H_2O$의 유/무에 따른 탈황성능의 변화를 확인하였다. 그 결과 소성온도에 따른 비표면적의 변화는 크게 나타나지 않았다. 또한, 장기사이클에서 $H_2O$에 의한 탈황성능의 저하를 확인할 수 있었다. 특히 $1,100^{\circ}C$에서 소성된 CFS1 흡수제(CuO : $Fe_2O_3$ : $SiO_2$=67.5 wt% : 7.5 wt% : 25 wt%)의 경우에는 $H_2O$가 존재함에도 불구하고, 100 사이클이 지난 후에도 흡수제 100 g당 10 g의 황을 제거할 수 있는 탈황성능을 보였다.

  • We have studies on the Microstructures and densities as a function of forming pressures and the magnetic properties of the specimens with additive Bi$_2$O$_3$ that sintered at 95$0^{\circ}C$ for 4.5 hours for synthesizing optimal Ni-Cu-Zn ferrite. Green density rose generally as Forming pressure increased from 1.7 ton/cm$^2$to 2.5 ton/cm$^2$and Cold Isostatic Pressure(CIP) method was more effective than Die Pressure(DP) method to high green density. Forming pressure had no influence on apparent density but on the other hand Bi$_2$O$_3$contents were strongly dominant to appaernt density than forming pressure. Bi$_2$O$_3$liquid phases created during sintering process promoted sintering and grain growth so that apparent density, grain size and permeability increased compared to that of the specimens which were sintered with non-additive Bi$_2$O$_3$.

  • B$_2$O$_3$ added Ba(Mg$_{1}$3/Nb$_{2}$3/)O$_3$ (BBMN) ceramics were not sintered below 900 $^{\circ}C$. However, when CuO was added to the BBMN ceramic, it was sintered even at 850 $^{\circ}C$. The amount of the $Ba_2$B$_2$O$_{5}$ second phase decreased with the addition of CuO. Therefore, the CuO additive is considered to react with the B$_2$O$_3$ inhibiting the reaction between B$_2$O$_3$ and BaO. Moreover, it is suggested that the solid solution of CuO and B$_2$O$_3$ might be responsible for the decrease of the sintering temperature of the specimens. A dense microstructure without pores was developed with the addition of a small amount of CuO. However, a porous microstructure with large pores was formed when a large amount of CuO was added. The bulk density, the dielectric constant ($\varepsilon$$_{r}$) and the Q-value increased with the addition of CuO but they decreased when a large amount of CuO was added. The variations of those properties are closely related to the variation of the microstructure. The excellent microwave dielectric properties of Qxf = 21500 GHz, $\varepsilon$$_{r}$ = 31 and temperature coefficient of resonance frequency($\tau$$_{f}$) = 21.3 ppm/$^{\circ}C$ were obtained for the Ba(Mg$_{1}$3/Nb$_{2}$3/)O$_3$+2.0 mol%B$_2$O$_3$+10.0 mol%CuO ceramic sintered at 875 $^{\circ}C$ for 2 h.h.2 h.h.

고액용융성장법을 이용한 YBCO 단결정 제조 (YBCO Bulk Superconductors Prepared by Solid-liquid Melt Growth)

  • YBCO bulks with fine $Y_2BaCuO_5$(Y211) particles have been prepared by the top-seed modified powder melting process method, Solid-Liquid Melt Growth(SLMG), with $Y_2O_3$, $BaCuO_2$ and CuO mixing precursor. By using $Y_2O_3$ instead of $Y_2BaCuO_5$ as precursor, the processing became to be simpler and cheaper than the current powder melting process. The microstructures, trapped field and critical current density of the various conditioned YBCO bulks have been analyzed and the effect of Pt additive was studied. The different trapped magnetic field values of the several samples have been explained in the viewpoint of their microstructures. The fabrication of large-sized YBCO single domain has been conducted.

  • The effect of CuO and CuO-B $i_2$ $O_3$ additives on microwave dielectric properties of (P $b_{0.45}$C $a_{0.55}$)[F $e_{0.5}$N $b_{0.5}$)$_{0.9}$S $n_{0.1}$] $O_3$were investigated to decrease the sintering temperature for usage of Low Temperature Co-firing Ceramics (LTCC). The (P $b_{0.45}$C $a_{0.55}$)[F $e_{0.5}$N $b_{0.5}$)$_{0.9}$S $n_{0.1}$] $O_3$ceramics was sintered at 11$65^{\circ}C$. In order to decrease the sintering temperature, CuO and Cuo-B $i_2$ $O_3$ were added in the (Pb,Ca)[(Fe,Nb)Sn] $O_3$ with CuO-B $i_2$ $O_3$. For the addition of 0.4 wt.% CuO, the sintered density and the dielectric constant of the ceramics were revealed the maximum values of the 6.06g/c $m^2$ and 83 respectively and temperature coefficient of resonance frequency ($\tau$$_{f}$) shifted to the positive value. As increasing B $i_2$ $O_3$to the (Pb,Ca)[(Fe,Nb)Sn] $O_3$ with CuO-B $i_2$ $O_3$with 0.2 wt.% CuO, the sintered density, the $\varepsilon$$_{r}$ and the Q was decreased, and $\tau$$_{f}$ was minimized at 0.2 wt.% CuO, and 0.2 wt.% B $i_2$ $O_3$. For this composition, dielectric properties were $\varepsilon$$_{r}$ of 81, Q. $f_{0}$ of 4400 GHz, and $\tau$$_{f}$ of 5 ppm/$^{\circ}C$ at sintering temperature of 100$0^{\circ}C$. the relationship between the microstructure and properties of ceramics was studied by X-ray diffraction(XRD), scanning electron microscopy(SEM).copy(SEM).oscopy(SEM).copy(SEM).EM).

Polycarbonate/Metal Salt 막의 산소분리특성에 미치는 비용매와 금속염 농도의 영향 (Effect of Nonsolvent and Metal Salt Concentration on Oxygen Separation Performances of Polycarbonate/Metal Salt Membrane)

  • Polycarbonate(PC) membranes for oxygen enrichment from air were prepared by the wet phase inversion method. In order to improve oxygen separation performances of the PC membrane, the effect of the added ethanol(nonsolvent) and $CuCl_2$(metal salt) concentration in the casting solution on morphology, oxygen permeability ami $O_2/N_2$ separation factor of the membrane was studied. In addition, tensile strength and elongation at break of the membrane were investigated. An asymmetric membrane with a dense top layer and a porous sublayer was obtained. The thickness of the dense top layer decreased with increasing amount of nonsolvent additive. Compared with pure PC membrane without additive(metal salt), the oxygen permeability and $O_2/N_2$ separation factor of the $PC/CuCl_2$ membrane are significantly improved. The oxygen permeability and $O_2/N_2$ separation factor is $5.25{\times}10^{-9}cm^3(STP){\cdot}cm/cm^2{\cdot}sec{\cdot}cmHg$ and 4.5, respectively. This improvement might be due to good interaction between metal salt and oxygen.

저온소성용 PZT 세라믹스의 치밀화에 미치는 첨가제의 영향 (Influence of Additives on Densification of Low-Temperature PZT Ceramics)

  • 저온 소결용 압전 세라믹 소결체의 치밀화에 미치는 첨가제의 영향을 조사하기 위하여 $PbZrTiO_3$(PZT) 분말을 제조하였으며, 이 PZT 분말을 이용하여 제조한 압전 세라믹스의 치밀화에 미치는 첨가제의 영향을 조사하였다. 첨가제는 $wB_2O_3-xBi_2O_3-zCuO$$LiBiO_2-CuO$ 두 종류가 제조되었으며 이 들 첨가제의 양을 변화 시켜 효과를 조사하였다. PZT 분말에 소결조제로서 1wt.% 의 $LiBiO_2-CuO$를 첨가하여 시편을 제조한 후, $800{\sim}1200^{\circ}C$까지의 온도 범위에서에서 소결한 결과 $900^{\circ}C$에서 최고의 소결밀도를 나타내었다. 소결된 압전체의 결정상을 분석하기 위하여 X-선회절분석을 시행하였으며, $900^{\circ}C$의 저온에서 소결한 $PbZrTiO_3$의 시편의 미세조직을 관찰하기 위하여 주사전자현미경(SEM)을 이용하였다. X-선 회절분석에서는 잘 발달된 PZT 상이 나타났으며, SEM 관찰 결과 평균입경은 $2{\sim}4\;{\mu}m$의 페로브스카이트 결정으로 균일하고 치밀한 조직을 나타내었으며, 높은 소결성은 첨가제에 의한 액상소결에 기인한다.
