NPC의 방사선치료시 3D-CRT, IMRT, Tomotherapy의 유용성 분석 (The Usability Analysis of 3D-CRT, IMRT, Tomotherpy Radiation Therapy on Nasopharyngeal Cancer)

  • 암환자의 방사선 치료기술은 3D-CRT, IMRT, Tomotherapy로 발전해 가고 있으며 이 3가지의 치료법은 임상에서 가장 많이 쓰이는 방사선 치료기술이다. 본 연구에서는 3D-CRT, IMRT(Linac Based) 그리고 Tomotherapy 치료시 정상조직과 종양조직의 선량분포를 비교해 보고자 한다. 실험방법으로는 조직 등가물질로 이루어진 인체모형팬톰 (Anthropomorphic Phantom)을 대상으로 CT simulation을 실시(Slice Thickness : 3mm)하여 획득된 영상에 GTV를 비인두 부위로 정하고 PTV는 GTV에 2mm정도의 영역을 포함시켜 치료계획용 장비(ADAC-Pinnacle3. Tomotherapy Hi-Art System)으로 전송한다. 치료계획은 PTV의 처방선량을 7020 cGy로 설정한 후 PTV에 부여되는 선량값과 정상조직인 이하선, 구강, 척수에 흡수되는 선량값을 산출하였다. 실험결과 PTV에 분포된 선량값은 Tomotherapy, Linac Based - IMRT, 3D-CRT가 각각 6923 cGy, 6901 cGy, 6718 cGy의 선량분포를 보여 종양조직 처방선량값인 7020 cGy의 95%이상 부여되어 종양제어측면(TCP)에 부합하였으며 정상조직(이하선, 구강, 척수)은 각각 1966 cGy (Tomotherapy), 2405 cGy(IMRT), 2468 cGy(3D-CRT)[이하선], 2991 cGy(Tomotherapy), 3062 cGy(IMRT), 3684 cGy(3D-CRT)[구강], 1768 cGy(Tomotherapy), 2151 cGy(IMRT), 4031 cGy(3D-CRT)[척수]의 선량이 분포되었으며 이는 정상조직 합병증발생율(NTCP)의 선량을 넘지 않았다. 모든 치료기법에서 종양조직과 정상조직이 선량분포측면에 부합하였다. 3D-CRT의 치료법이 선량분포 면에서 가장 양호하지 않았지만 종양조직제어율(TCP)과 정상조직합병증율(NTCP)을 고려해 볼 때 기준치를 벗어나지 않는 선량이 분포 되었다. 상대적으로 선량분포가 우수한 Tomotherapy, IMRT는 오랜 치료시간 때문에 폐쇄공포증환자나 호흡불량 환자가 치료받는데 어려울 수 있다. 특히 토모테라피의 경우 치료 전에 고에너지 컴퓨터 단층촬영을 매일 실시하기 때문에 불필요한 방사선 피폭을 초래할 수 있다. 결론적으로 Tomotherapy가 선량분포에서 가장 우수한 치료기법으로 평가되었으며, IMRT, 3D-CRT의 순으로 방사선치료의 적합성을 보였다. 하지만 실제 치료시 환자의 상태에 따라 제한적으로 3차원 입체조형치료를 시행하여도 무방하다고 사료된다.

Immune Effect of Newcastle Disease Virus DNA Vaccine with C3d as a Molecular Adjuvant

  • Newcastle disease is a serious infectious disease in the poultry industry. The commercial vaccines can only offer limited protection and some of them are expensive and need adjuvants. At present, DNA vaccines are widely used. However, the immune responses induced by DNA vaccines are too slow and low. Here, we constructed the transfer vectors with a different number of C3d as molecular adjuvants (n = 1, 2, 4, or 6), and the vectors were cloned into the optimal eukaryotic expression plasmid (pVAXI-optiF) that expressed the F gene of Newcastle disease virus (NDV), and named pVAXI-F(o)-C3d1, pVAXI -F(o)-C3d2, pVAXI-F(o)-C3d4, and pVAXI-F(o)-C3d6, respectively. Cell transfection test indicated that pVAXI-F(o)-C3d6 showed the highest expression. In vivo immunization showed that the chickens immunized with pVAXI-F(o)-C3d6 intramuscularly induced better immune responses than the chickens immunized with the other plasmids. The protective efficacy of pVAXI-F(o)-C3d6 was 80% after challenge with the highly virulent NDV strain F48E9. The results in this study showed that C3d6 could be used as a molecular adjuvant to quickly induce an effective immune response to control NDV.

로짓 模型을 利用한 都心居住의 適住者 選定에 관한 硏究 - 大邱市를 中心으로 - (Study on the Selection of Suitable Resident for C.B.D. Living by Using the Logit Model -The Case of Taegu City-)

  • This study is for the development of C.B.D. residential land that is available in the changeable housing market and urban planning paradigm. The results are as follows. First, we developed a Logit model to analyzed the suitable resident for living downtown and we used several variables in the model such as their living place, the location of their works, in come according to sex and age, and whether they have a car or not. Second, in analysis for the suitable residents using the Logit model, the main demanders who live in C.B.D. or have a job there and the young and old were chosen, Third, it shows that the suitable residents prefer semi-C.B.D. because it has convenient accessibility to C.B.D. rater quickly (in ten minutes). They prefer apartment and Mixed-Use building. Fourth, there are much residential land in semi-C.B.D. (63.7%) so as to support enough land in ease of redevelopment. The land price is tremendously low compared to that of land for business or for C.B.D.

유기물이 첨가된 저밀도 폴리에칠렌에서 예비과전에 따른 트리잉 열화 (The Treeing Deterioration with Prestressed D.C Voltage in Low Density Polyethylen Mixed with Organic Compounds)

  • In this paper, we have investigated the effect of organic additives and prestressed D C. voltage on the impulse tree initiation in low density polyethylene. The five klnds of organic compounds was selected for the purpose of inhibiting tree initiation and 10 wt % of each additive was mixed in low density polyethylene. The positive or negative impulse voltage was applied after prestressed D.C. voltage was applied in order to investigate the effect of the space charge influenced on tree initiation. The lengths of tree initiation in case of belng same polarity between prestressed D.C. voltage and impulse voltage were longer than those in case of being different polarity between prestressed D.C. voltage and impulse voltage. When the polarity prestressed D.C. voltage was the different plarity of impulse voltage, the length of tree initiation increased with increasing the prestressed D.C. voltage and decreasing the rest time Among the organic additives used in this paper, the m-cresol can be shown to be the most effective inhibiter to tree initiation.

LOCI OF RATIONAL CURVES OF SMALL DEGREE ON THE MODULI SPACE OF VECTOR BUNDLES

  • For a smooth algebraic curve C of genus g $\geq$ 4, let $SU_C$(r, d) be the moduli space of semistable bundles of rank r $\geq$ 2 over C with fixed determinant of degree d. When (r,d) = 1, it is known that $SU_C$(r, d) is a smooth Fano variety of Picard number 1, whose rational curves passing through a general point have degree $\geq$ r with respect to the ampl generator of Pic($SU_C$(r, d)). In this paper, we study the locus swept out by the rational curves on $SU_C$(r, d) of degree < r. As a by-product, we present another proof of Torelli theorem on $SU_C$(r, d).

비정질 $As_{10}Ge_{15}Te_{75}$박막의 D.C. 스위칭 임계전압 특성 (The characteristics of D.C. switching threshold voltage for amorphous $As_{10}Ge_{15}Te_{75}$ thin film)

  • Amorphous As$_{10}$Ge$_{15}$ Te$_{75}$ device shows the memory switching characteristics under d.c. bias. In bulk material, a-As$_{10}$Ge$_{15}$ Te$_{75}$ switching threshold voltage (V$_{th}$) is very high (above 100 volts), but in the case of thin film, V$_{th}$ decreases to a few or ten a few volts. The characteristics of V$_{th}$ depends on the physical dimensions such as the thickness of thin film and the separation between d.c. electrodes, and the annealing conditions. The switching threshold voltage decreases exponentially with increasing annealing temperature and annealing time, but increases linearly with the thickness of thin film and exponentially with increasing the separation between d.c. electrodes. The desirable low switching threshold voltage, therefore, can be obtained by the stabilization through annealing and changing physical dimensions.imensions.sions.

  • During human-computer interaction(HCI), people typically send inputs to computers through electromechanical pointing devices. Many applied studies have therefore evaluated cursor-positioning movements made with various pointing devices. Though there were so many studies about performance of various pointing devices, it was nearly impossible to compare device performance each other until the Fitts' law was applied. It does appear that Fitts' law may predict performance reasonably well for the one C-D gain level. But in varying C-D gain levels, Fitts' law could not predict movement time. This study investigated the effects of C-D gain in mouse movement time and suggested a revised Fitts' model including C-D gain as an independent variable. The revised Fitts' model may use to measure the performance of various devices in varying C-D gain levels.

브루나이 열대우림 내 주요 3개 수종 고사목의 초기 질량 감소율과 탄질율 변화 (The initial mass loss rates and the changes in carbon/nitrogen ratio of dead woods for the three dominant tree species in tropical rainforests of Brunei Darussalam)

  • 본 연구에서는 열대우림인 브루나이 MDF와 PSF의 주요 수종(D. aromatic, D. rappa, C. arborescens)을 대상으로 초기 분해 단계의 수종별 질량 감소율과 탄질율의 변화를 파악하였다. 2019년 5월에 총 48개의 고사목 시료(15 cm ×4.8 cm ×5 cm)를 산림 지표면에 배치하고 16개월 후 수거하였다. 분해 전 수종별 고사목의 밀도(g cm-3)는 0.64±0.01 (D. aromatic), 0.60±0.00 (D. rappa), 0.44±0.02 (C. arborescens) 등이었으며, 16개월 동안 수종별 연간 질량 감소율(%)은 6.37 (D. aromatic), 8.17 (D. rappa), 18.53 (C. arborescens) 등으로 나타났다. 부후등급은 C. arborescens에서 III등급이 약 25%로 높았으며 흰개미의 분해 흔적이 나타났다. 한편, 16개월 후 탄질율은 D. aromatic과 D. rappa에서 통계적으로 유의하게 감소하였으나, C. arborescens에서는 감소하는 경향이 유의하지 않았다. 이러한 연구 결과는 열대우림 내 고사목의 초기 분해는 밀도와 같은 수종의 물리적 특성에 따라 차이가 나타날 수 있으며, 주요 분해자의 유형에 따라 탄질율의 변화에도 상대적으로 차이가 있을 수 있음을 시사하는 것이다.

  • Trigonopsis variabilis는 버l타락탐 항생제인 cephalosporin C (ceph C)를 ${\alpha}$-keto-adipyl-7 a aminocephalosporanic acid(AKA-7 ACA)로 생변 환하는 강력한 D-amino acid oxidase 효소를 갖고 있다. 본 연구는 이 D-AAO 효소의 유전자를 추출하기 위하여 polymerase chain reaction (PCR)을 사용하였다. PCR 단편을 콜로닝하기 위하여 Taq D DNA polymerase, Klenow, T4 DNA polymerase I, Alkaline phosphatase Calf Intestinal와 T4 kinase 의 효소반응을 이용하여 4가지의 방법을 샤용한 결 과, blunt - end 의 PCR fragment 를 phosphory­l lation하고 blunt -end의 pUC18 plasmid를 dephos phorylation 한 후 ligation 한 것 이 가장 좋은 클로 닝 효율을 보였다. Ceph C에 대한 D-AAO 효소의 활성은 재조합 E. coli의 세포추출액과 permea bilized cells에서 모두 확인할 수 있었다.

Binding Mode of [Ruthenium(II)$(1,10-Phenanthroline)_2L]^{2+}\;to\;Poly(dG){\cdot}poly( dC){\cdot}poly(dC)^+$ Triplex DNA

  • Binding geometries of $[Ru(II)(110-phenanthroline)_2L]^2+$, complexes (where L = dipyrido [3,2-a:2',3'-c]phena-zine (DPPZ) or benzodipyrido[3,2-a:2',3'-c] phenazine (BDPPZ)) to poly(dG)${\cdot}$poly(dC)${\cdot}$poly(dC) + triplex DNA (CGC + triplex) has been investigated by linear dichroism and normal absorption spectroscopy. Analysis of the linear dichroism for the CGC+ triplex and $[Ru(II)(phen)_2BDPPZ]^2+$ complex indicates that the extended ligand of the metal complex lie perpendicular to the polynucleotide helix axis. Together with strong hypochromism and red shift in the interligand absorption region, we concluded that the extended BDPPZ or DPPZ ligand in-tercalated between the bases of polynucleotide. The spectral properties of the metal complexes bound to CGC+ triplex are similar to those bound to $poly(dA)[poly(dT)]^2$ triplex (Choi et al., Biochemistry 1997, 36, 214), sug-gesting that the metal complex is located in the minor groove of the CGC+ triplex.
