  • In the paper the following propositions are proved. 1) If ($Q,{\cdot},e$) is a B-algebra, then there exists a group($Q,A,^{-1}$, 1) such that the following equalities hold e=1 and ${\cdot}=^{-1}A$, where $^{-1}A(x,y)=z{\Longleftrightarrow^{def}}A(z,y)=x$; and 2) If ($Q,A,^{-1}$, e) is a group, then ($Q,^{-1}A$, e) is a B-algebra.

  • For a linear operator Q from $R^{d}\; into\; R^{d},\; {\alpha}\;>0\; and\ 0-semi-stability and the operater semi-stability of probability measures on $R^{d}$ are defined. Characterization of $(Q,b,{\alpha})$-semi-stable Gaussian distribution is obtained and the relationship between the class of $(Q,b,{\alpha})$-semi-stable non-Gaussian distributions and that of operator semistable distributions is discussed.

  • In this paper, two weight conditions are introduced and the multiple weighted strong and weak characterizations of the multilinear fractional new maximal operator 𝓜ϕ,β are established. Meanwhile, we introduce the ${\mathcal{S}}_{({\vec{p}},q),{\beta}}({\varphi})$ and $B_{({\vec{p}},q),{\beta}}({\varphi})$ conditions and obtain the characterization of two-weighted inequalities for 𝓜ϕ,β. Finally, the relationships of the conditions ${\mathcal{S}}_{({\vec{p}},q),{\beta}}({\varphi}),\,{\mathcal{A}}_{({\vec{p}},q),{\beta}}({\varphi})$ and $B_{({\vec{p}},q),{\beta}}({\varphi})$ and the characterization of the one-weight $A_{({\vec{p}},q),{\beta}}({\varphi})$ are given.

  • Over the years, there has been increasing interest in solving mathematical problems with the aid of computers. The main purpose of this paper is to investigate the roots of the q-Bernoulli polynomials $B_{n,q}{^r}(x)$ for values of the index n by using computer. Finally, we consider the reflection symmetries of the q-Bernoulli polynomials $B_{n,q}{^r}(x)$.

  • Let ℍn be the Heisenberg group and Q = 2n + 2 be its homogeneous dimension. Let 𝓛 = -∆n + V be the Schrödinger operator on ℍn, where ∆n is the sub-Laplacian and the nonnegative potential V belongs to the reverse Hölder class $B_{q_1}$ for q1 ≥ Q/2. Let Hp𝓛(ℍn) be the Hardy space associated with the Schrödinger operator 𝓛 for Q/(Q+𝛿0) < p ≤ 1, where 𝛿0 = min{1, 2 - Q/q1}. In this paper, we consider the Hardy type estimates for the operator T𝛼 = V𝛼(-∆n + V )-𝛼, and the commutator [b, T𝛼], where 0 < 𝛼 < Q/2. We prove that T𝛼 is bounded from Hp𝓛(ℍn) into Lp(ℍn). Suppose that b ∈ BMO𝜃𝓛(ℍn), which is larger than BMO(ℍn). We show that the commutator [b, T𝛼] is bounded from H1𝓛(ℍn) into weak L1(ℍn).

  • This study examined the static characteristics of a spool valve with a hybrid lap between the spool land and the sleeve. The static equation for the pressure characteristics was derived from flow equations that depend on the spool displacement, and the final model was derived from $q_a=q_b=0$ because the pressure characteristics test needs to block the control port in the valve. The static equation for the flow characteristics was derived from the pressure characteristics when the control port is open ($q_a=q_b$, $p_a=p_b$). The characteristic equation in the shifted region was assumed from the proportional relationship between the pressure-flow characteristics and the spool displacement.

  • Background: Palatal injections are often painful. We aimed to compare topical ice and 20% benzocaine gel for pre-injection anesthesia before greater palatine nerve block (GPNB) injections. Methods: A randomized split-mouth clinical trial was conducted among patients aged 15-60-years needing bilateral GPNB injections. A total of 120 palatal sites from 60 patients were randomly allocated to Group A (topical ice) or Group B (20% benzocaine gel). Pain was evaluated using sound, eye, motor (SEM), and the visual analog scale (VAS) in both groups. Inferential analysis was performed using the Mann-Whitney U test. Results: The mean age of the participants was 20.5 ± 3.9 years. The median VAS score for group A was 11 (Q1 - Q3: 5.25 - 21.75), which was slightly higher than the 10 (Q1 - Q3: 4.0 - 26.75) reported in group B. However, the difference was not statistically significant (P = 0.955). The median SEM score for group A and group B was 3.5 (Q1 - Q3: 3.0 - 4.0) and 4.0 (Q1 - Q3: 3.0 - 4.0), respectively, which was statistically insignificant (P = 0.869). Conclusion: Using ice as a form of topical anesthetic for achieving pre-injection anesthesia before GPNB was as effective as 20% benzocaine gel.

  • In this paper, the I/Q mismatch problem between the transmission line and antenna switch is solved by a new CPW matching circuit for a VoWLAN terminal with 54 Mbps communication speed through the IEEE 802.11 b/g CCK/OFDM. I/Q performances with the new matching circuit are analyzed and improved by the output spectrum mask, the characteristics of the EVM(Error Vector Magnitude) due to the nonlinear CCK/OFDM demodulation data, and receiver's sensitivity.

  • Let GF(q) be a finite field with q elements where q=p$^{n}$ for a prime number p and a positive integer n. Consider an arbitrary function .phi. from GF(q) into GF(q). By using the Largrange's Interpolation formula for the given function .phi., .phi. can be represented by a polynomial which is congruent (mod x$^{q}$ -x) to a unique polynomial over GF(q) with the degree < q. In [3], Wells characterized all polynomial over a finite field which commute with translations. Mullen [2] generalized the characterization to linear polynomials over the finite fields, i.e., he characterized all polynomials f(x) over GF(q) for which deg(f) < q and f(bx+a)=b.f(x) + a for fixed elements a and b of GF(q) with a.neq.0. From those papers, a natural question (though difficult to answer to ask is: what are the explicit form of f(x) with zero terms\ulcorner In this paper we obtain the exact form (together with zero terms) of a polynomial f(x) over GF(q) for which satisfies deg(f) < p$^{2}$ and (1) f(x+a)=f(x)+c for the fixed nonzero elements a and c in GF(q).
