붉은 대륙의 문화가 흐르는 곳. 서울 광화문에 자리잡은 '주한중국문화원'은 우리에게 대륙의 문화를 거침없이 보여주려는 듯 자신 있게 다가온다. 중국문화원에 거는 기대가 얼마나 큰지는 VIP룸을 보면 미루어 짐작할 수 있다. 중국을 제대로 알리고자 본국에서 직접 가구와 소품을 들여왔으며 실내 장식에도 본국에서 온 인테리어 기술자가 동원되었다. VIP룸에는 <삼국지>를 소재로 제작한 홍목 가구로 장식되어 있으며 이것 또한 명 청 시대 작품들을 원형 그대로 재현한 것이다. 아시아의 용에서 세계의 용으로 비약하고자 꿈틀대는 중국의 과거와 오늘을 서울에서 느껴본다.

서울의 대표적 낙후지역(?) 중 하나였던 문래동이 문화적 트렌드를 선도하는 예술가들의 창작 실험실로 변신하고 있다. 서울의 또 다른 자랑거리로 떠오르고 있는 그곳에서 다양한 시도를 통해 생활 속 아트를 실천하는 아티스트와 그들의 작품을 만나본다.

By bond mechanism between the prestressing strand and the concrete surrounding it, the effective force of prestressing must be transferred to the concrete entirely. The distance required to transfer the effective force of prestressing is called the transfer length, and the development length is the bond length required to anchor the strand as it resists external loads on the member. Transfer length was determined from the concrete strain profile at the level of the strands at transfer and development length was determined from various external loading lengths and compared with current code equation. Through the test results, bond failure is predicted based on the distress caused by cracks when they propagate within the transfer zone of prestressing strand. The current code equation was found to be conservative in comparison with the measured value.

Earthquake is one of the hazard so hard because it is difficult predicted occurred time, scale and characters. Due to a recent Sichuan earthquake in China with a magnitude of 7.8, it is worried about having a major earthquake in Korea peninsula in near future. The earthquake in Kobe, Japan showed that the damages were concentrated on the buildings which were not considered to be protected from the earthquakes. In this study, apartment structures in Korea analyze about earthquake hazard and evaluate seismic performance. Through the this study we have notice of earthquake hazard for apartment structures which live a lot of population of Korea and suppose necessary for seismic retrofit.
