Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of perfectionism on the self-concept and dance performance satisfaction of college students. The survey was conducted on 320 college students in dance majors at four-year colleges located in Seoul, Gyeonggi, Daejeon, and Gangwon-do. The conclusion was drawn. First, perfectionism has a significant effect on self-concept. Second, perfectionism has a significant influence on the satisfaction of dance performance. Third, there is a causal relationship between perfectionism, self-concept, and dance performance satisfaction. In conclusion, it is important to identify factors that can increase the satisfaction of dance performance by exploring various psychological factors in order to increase the satisfaction of dance performance of college students.
