냉시동 환경에서 thermal cycle이 FEMFC의 MEA 열화에 미치는 영향 (The thermal cycle degration of MEA in PEMFC under cold start condition)

  • In recent times, starting up polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cells(PEMFC) in sub-zero condition is a great challenge of fuel cell electric vehicle(FCEV). The water produced in a cathode during PEMFCs operate. The water changes into the form of solid/ice in sub-zero temperatures and this makes trouble in PEMFC cells. Voltage of PEMFC drops and cold startup is failed. This paper describes an experimental study on the effect of thermal cycle to degradation of MEA in PEMFC.

  • 본 논문은 역률개선 효과가 있는 MERS(Magnetic Enery recovery switch)를 사용하여 에너지 효율에서의 결과를 입증하고자 한다. 전원과 유도성부하에 직렬 연결된 MERS는 Full Bridge와 비슷한 구성으로 전력용 MOSFET(or IGBT) SWITCH 4개와 전해 DC콘덴서 1개로 구성되어진다. MERS의 콘덴서는 부하와 콘덴서의 리액턴스, $X_C<X_L$을 만족하는 콘덴서의 용량을 선택하고 콘덴서에 충전된 전압에 의해 부하의 유도계수를 보상하여 역률을 1로 추종하며 개선된다. 이때 스위치는 전원 전압에 대해 zero-voltage switching 과 zero-current switching을 하게 된다. 만약 부하가 변하더라도 $X_C<X_L$을 만족한다면 자동적으로 역률은 1에 맞추어지게 된다

An Isolated Soft-Switching Bidirectional Buck-Boost Inverter for Fuel Cell Applications

  • This paper presents a new isolated soft-switching bidirectional buck-boost inverter for fuel cell applications. The buck-boost inverter combines an isolated DC-DC converter with a conventional inverter to implement buck-boost DC-DC and DC-AC conversion. The main switches achieve zero voltage switching and zero current switching by using a novel synchronous switching SVPWM and the volume of the transformer in the forward and fly-back mode is also minimized. This inverter is suitable for wide input voltage applications due to its high efficiency under all conditions. An active clamping circuit reduces the switch's spike voltage and regenerates the energy stored in the leakage inductance of the transformer; therefore, the overall efficiency is improved. This paper presents the operating principle, a theoretical analysis and design guidelines. Simulation and experimental results have validated the characteristics of the buck-boost inverter.

  • The propose of Dynamic Voltage Restorer(DVR) is the Power Quality controller of very short term (under 10 cycle). In this paper, we propose a model of distribution for zero sequence analysis and DVR for compensation. With EMTDC/PSCAD simulation, we can verify our method and problems of existing method. A new energy optimizing method is also investigation.

  • The aim of this paper is to investigate the acoustic characteristics of the French vowel [e] and Korean [i] and to seek a way of understanding them from a phonological point of view. These two vowels have similar distributional properties, i.e. they alternate with zero in some contexts. Therefore, in both languages, they are not found when immediately followed by a nucleus with phonetic content and in word-final positions. We firstly compare the two vowels by measuring the actual frequencies of the formants, pitch and energy using CSL. We also consider whether the realisation of the two vowels is affected by the speed of speech sounds. In order to show that realisation of the two vowels in both languages is not arbitrary, rather predicted, we will introduce the notion of proper government, proposed and developed by Kaye (1987, 1990) and Charette (1991).

목초생산성과 초지 생태계에 미치는 액상분뇨의 시용효과 (The Effect of Cattle Slurry on the Forage Yield and Grassland Ecosystem)

  • Many farmers apply cattle slurry on grassland, often in excess of crop N requirements, resulting in groundwater contamination. Our research objective was the development of grassland management systems that reduce undesirable sideeffects on other compartment of the ecosystem. Field experiment was conducted during 1991~1993 on sandy loam soil at AllgZiu south western Germany. Different sets of conditions were tested such as : zero fertilization, reduced sluny application$(l20kg N ha^{-1}yr^{-1})$, intensive sluny application(conventional sluny application, $240kg N ha^{-1}yr^{-1}$). The plots of the reduced slurry application had no significant effect on dry matter yields, digestible dry matter and net energy of herbage. Dry matter yield of zero fertilization was significantly lower than that of usual slurry application, however the content of Ca and Mg in herbage tended to increase. We conclude that reduced sluny application can be applied on grassland without adverse effects on dry matter production and quality of herbage.

Effects of Thermal-Carrier Heat Conduction upon the Carrier Transport and the Drain Current Characteristics of Submicron GaAs MESFETs

  • A 2-dimensional numerical analysis is presented for thermal-electron heat conduction effects upon the electron transport and the drain current-voltage characteristics of submicron GaAs MESFETs, based on the use of a nonstationary hydrodynamic transport model. It is shown that for submicron GaAs MESFETs, electron heat conduction effects are significant on their internal electronic properties and also drain current-voltage characteristics. Due to electron heat conduction effects, the electron energy is greatly one-djmensionalized over the entire device region. Also, the drain current decreases continuously with increasing thermal conductivity in the saturation region of large drain voltages above 1 V. However, the opposite trend is observed in the linear region of small drain voltages below 1 V. Accordingly, for a large thermal conductivity, negative differential resistance drain current characteristics are observed with a pronounced peak of current at the drain voltage of 1 V. On the contrary, for zero thermal conductivity, a Gunn oscillation characteristic is observed at drain voltages above 2 V under a zero gate bias condition.

  • 본 연구는 연속음성을 인식하기 위하여 특징 Parameter의 변동성을 Fuzzy 변수로 취하여 Membership 함수로 표현한 후, Fuzzy 추론으로 연속음성을 인식하는 연구이다. 특징 Parameter로는 Formant 주파수, Pitch, Log Energy, Zero Crossing Rate등을 사용한다. 연속음성의 Data로서는 한국어의 연속음성을 대상으로 하여 음성인식 system을 구현한다음, 인식실험을 통하여 본 연구의 유교성을 확인한다.

  • 중성자 다군 확산 방정식의 해를 구하기 위하여 albedo형 경계조건을 Hermite 3차 다항식에 의거한 유한요소법과 결합하였다. 중성자 확산문제에 흔히 이용되는 확산방정식의 weak form을 경계조건과 일치하도록 수정하였으며 또한 경계면에 접한 node영역에서의 요소함수 또한 수정 정의하였다. 수정된 유한요소법의 수치계산상의 효율성을 조사할 목적으로 2차원 ZION 가압경수형 원자로문제를 시험계산하고 그 결과를 기존의 다른 계산결과와 비교하였다.
