Objective: The objective of the study was to compare the effects of long-term and short-term embryo culture to assess whether there is a correlation between culture duration and clinical outcomes. Methods: Embryos were divided into two study groups depending on whether their post-warming culture period was long-term (20-24 hours) or short-term (2-4 hours). Embryo morphology was analyzed with a time-lapse monitoring device to estimate the appropriate timing and parameters for evaluating embryos with high implantation potency in both groups. Propensity score matching was performed to adjust the confounding factors across groups. The grades of embryos and blastocoels, morphokinetic parameters, implantation rate, and ongoing pregnancy rate were compared. Results: No significant differences were observed in the implantation rate or ongoing pregnancy rate between the two groups (long-term culture group vs. short-term culture group: 56.3% vs. 67.9%, p=0.182; 47.3% vs. 53.6%, p=0.513). After warming, there were more expanded and hatching/hatched blastocysts in the long-term culture group than in the short-term culture group, but there was no significant between-group difference in embryo grade. Regarding pregnancy outcomes, the time to complete blastocyst re-expansion after warming is shorter in women who became pregnant than in those who did not in both culture groups (long-term: 2.19±0.63 vs. 4.11±0.81 hours, p=0.003; short-term: 1.17±0.29 vs. 1.94±0.76 hours, p=0.018, respectively). Conclusion: The outcomes of short-term culture and long-term culture were not significantly different in vitrified-warmed blastocyst transfer. Regardless of the post-warming culture time, the degree of blastocyst re-expansion 3-4 hours after warming is an important marker for embryo selection.

Purpose: The aim of this study was to examine effects of patient safety culture and burnout on safety management activities with a focus on clinical experience of nurses in general hospitals. Methods: Self-administered questionnaires were given to nurses in a general hospital in C Province, and 107 questionnaires were used for final analysis. Collected data were analyzed using SPSS/WIN 21.0 Program for t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients, and multiple regression. Results: The highest score as perceived by general hospital nurses for patient safety culture was for 'Immediate superior/Manager' (3.84), for burnout, the highest score was for 'Emotional exhaustion' (4.13), and for safety management activities, the highest score was for 'Prevention of infection' (3.96). Patient safety culture and safety management activities perceived by general hospital nurses showed significant positive correlations (r=.35 p<.001). The correlations between burnout and safety management activities perceived by the nurses showed significant negative correlations (r=-.37, p<.001). Results of hierarchical regression analysis conducted to identify factors that affect safety management activities showed that patient safety culture (${\beta}=.40$ p<.001) was effective for controlling safety management activities. Conclusion: The findings indicate a need to build a patient safety culture that fits the characteristics and situations of various hospitals.
The club culture is not something unified. Rather, it is a group of subcultures which share intertwined areas. And it keeps its own dress code, dance style, music genre along with series of authoritarian and unlawful rituals. For young adults, a club is a new cultural space to enjoy in reasonable price and they can express themselves without thinking much about others. A club creates its unique mass culture by producing continuously changing and experimental fashion styles. As the club culture’s influence becomes powerful, the club market was established and experimental fashion styles are wide spread among general public, young adults who try to express their unique characters and even fashion-leading industry. The study results are as follows. First, dance club and its derivative, rave is symbolic axles and the center of social activity. They are also defined as culture which is related to specific space that continues to present and change sound and style. Second, the definition of clubber in a dictionary is club member or a person who is united with others. Third, based upon clubbers' fashion styles in Hongdae and Kang-nam areas, there are 5 different images including sexy casual, lingerie, dynamic, chic style and feminine style. Fourth, based upon case study above, to take unique life style of fashionista that leads fashion with trendy fashion style into account, we suggested five designs which are unique, sensitive and trendy. Fifth, through analyzing clubber generation and design factors of clubbers' fashion style combined with various trend, unique brand was developed to meet the demands of clubbers who want differentiated images and leading styles.
This study investigates the effect of consumer culture and awareness of wedding ceremonies between parents and children as well as preference for a simple wedding in order to develop a simple wedding concept. The data for statistical analysis came from 375 of children 216 and parents 159. Data was analyzed with t -test, analysis of variance, exploratory factor analysis, Cronbach's $\alpha$ and regression analysis by SPSS ver. 18.0. The results were summarized as follows. First, children had a higher symbolic consumption than parents and parents had a higher functional consumption than children. Second, children prefer a discriminate and characteristic small wedding, while parents prefer an economical, meaningful and nonconforming simple wedding. The variables that effect parents simple wedding preferences were consumer culture, awareness of wedding ceremony, gender, and education; those of children were, consumer culture, awareness on wedding ceremony, gender, and age. Children had a functional and economical consumption focused on meaningfulness and rationale of the wedding, they prefer an economical meaningful small wedding. Children had functional consumption that prefers a discriminate characteristic small wedding and a nonconforming small wedding compared to men. Parents did not have symbolic consumption and focused on the meaningfulness and rationale of the wedding, they prefer an economical meaningful small wedding. Parents focused on the meaningfulness and rationale of the wedding; in addition women prefer a discriminate characteristic small wedding compared to men. Parents had functional consumption and focused on the meaningfulness and rationale of the wedding with a preference for a nonconforming small wedding.

Insect cell lines and the control of infection for obtaining the maximum amount of polyhedrin-Cry1Ac-polyhedrin fusion protein from Bactrus in monolayer and suspension culture systems were tested. Growth rates of the Trichoplusia ni(High-Five) cell line in both culture systems were better than the other insect cell lines, Spodoptera frugiferda(Sf-9, Sf-21), Trichoplusia ni(Tn5), and Spodoptera exigua(Se301). The expression of the fusion protein in a monolayer culture showed that Se301 cells were 2.3-4.8 times more productive on a per cell basis than the other cell lines. However, in suspension culture, only High-Five cells were productive. High-Five cells infected with Bactrus at a multiplicity of infection(MOI) of 5 and a cell density of $3.0{\times}10^5$ cells per ml were more productive than the other infection condition in a suspension culture suitable for a large-scale production of baculovirus. In conclusion, for the large-scale production of Bactrus in vitro, High-Five cells showing good growth and high productivity are suitable.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the relationships of authentic leadership and nursing organizational culture to the intention of hospital nurses to stay in their current position. Methods: The participants of this study were 503 nurses in 8 hospitals. We collected data using questionnaires for assessing authentic leadership, nursing organization culture and intention to stay. For data analysis, t-test, ANOVA, Cronbach's ${\alpha}$, Pearson's correlation coefficient, Tukey test, Multiple regression were performed using SAS ver.9.4 (SAS Institute Inc., Cary, NC, USA). Results: Authentic leadership (${\beta}=.12$, p=.008) and relation-oriented culture (${\beta}=.13$, p=.009) affected the intention of the hospital nurses to stay. These variables accounted for 29% of the variance in the intention to stay among hospital nurses. Conclusion: The finding of this study shows that the authentic leadership and nursing organizational culture especially relation-focused can influence nurses' intention to stay in their current position. For retaining nurses, it is suggested to use an authentic leadership training program for nursing leaders and to make efforts to establish a relation-focused culture in the hospital.
This study investigated the food and dietary educational content in primary, middle and high school textbooks in order to provide fundamental data for the development of educational programs on Korean traditional food culture. The research objects consisted of 51 kinds of textbooks (15 kinds of primary school textbooks, 29 kinds of middle school home economics textbooks and 7 kinds of high school home economics textbooks), and the contents related to food and dietary education were counted and analyzed. The content analysis was performed using two categories: application method and subject matter. Application method included texts, cases, visual aids (pictures, photos, illustrations, chart, etc.) and activities, whereas subject matter consisted of seven types (well balanced nutrition and health, understanding of food and nutrition, cooking principles, cooking lessons, traditional foods and culture, others). The results of the application method in primary school textbooks show that visual aids were the most common in all six grades. For the subject matter, 'understanding of food and nutrition' was most abundant in primary school textbooks while 'well balanced nutrition and health' accounted for a large part of the contents in middle school textbooks. However, the contents regarding traditional foods and culture were insufficient in primary and middle school textbooks. These results suggest that educational contents on traditional foods and culture should be added to primary and middle school textbooks and covered in various subjects. Furthermore, high school 'home economics' contents need to emphasize comprehensive food and dietary education and adjust to 'science & technology for life'.
Purpose: The purpose of this study examines the mediating effect of clan leadership in the relationship between hierarchy culture and organizational commitment. Most previous research focused on the relationship between organizational culture and organizational performance or organizational culture and job satisfaction. There are few empirical studies that focus on organizational commitment data because it is difficult to collect in many cases of export-driven small and medium sized enterprises. However, this research measures affective commitment, continuance commitment, and normative commitment differently than previous research, which is mostly focused on the hierarchy culture, clan leadership, and organizational commitment measurements. Research design, data, methodology: Conceptual research model is based on the studies of Cameron and Quinn (2011), and Gungor and Sahin (2018). The model is designed with three constructs such as hierarchy culture, organizational commitment, and clan leadership. The monitor culture and coordinator culture are as proxy for the hierarchy culture. The affective commitment, continuance commitment, and normative commitment are as proxy for the organizational commitment. And also the facilitator leadership and mentor leadership are as proxy for the clan leadership. Based on three hundred cases such as export-driven small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs), this study verify the hypothesis. Hypothesis was analyzed with the structural equation modeling. Results: In case of export-driven small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs), clan leadership acts as a mediator in the relationship between hierarchy culture and organizational commitment. In case of export-driven small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) with high organizational commitment, clan leadership acts as a mediator in the relationship between hierarchy culture and organizational commitment. In case of export-driven small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) with low organizational commitment, clan leadership did not act as a mediator in the relationship between hierarchy culture and organizational commitment. Conclusions: By controlling for the mediating effect of clan culture, this study have improved the academic contributions as well as policy and practical implications through empirical study of clan leadership that affect organizational commitment in the fields of hierarchy culture. In addition, this study means that the mediating effects on the variables of clan leadership were examined.

Purpose: This study was designed to assess the types of nursing organizational culture, and degree of self-leadership and burnout as perceived by perioperative nurses, and to identify correlations between these variables. Methods: Participants were 155 nurses from 3 tertiary hospitals in Seoul and data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, ANOVA, Scheffe, and Pearson correlation coefficient. Results: In the types of nursing organizational culture, the mean score for hierarchy-oriented culture was 3.57, and for self-leadership, 3.61 and for burnout, 2.87. In the relationship between the types of nursing organizational culture, self-leadership and burnout, relation-oriented culture (r=.24, p<.01), innovation-oriented culture (r=.23, p<.01) and task-oriented culture (r=.22, p<.01) had a slight positive correlation with self-leadership in that order. The innovation-oriented culture (r=-.29, p<.01) and relation-oriented culture (r=-.42, p<.01) among the types of nursing organizational culture showed a negative correlation with burnout while the hierarchy-oriented culture (r=.28, p<.01) showed a positive correlation with burnout. Self-leadership showed a negative correlation with burnout (r=-.42, p<.01). Conclusion: The results show that nurses in operating rooms have a high awareness of hierarchy-oriented culture that affects burnout in a negative way while having a low awareness of relation-oriented culture that has a positive influence on burnout.

This study aims to investigate Youth Culture in the Stream of Popular Culture by 'The Relation-Approach'. For this, the relations between the two were reviewed, through which the meaning and practical actions were identified as main finding of the fact that youth culture has cultural meaning with possibility. Namely, youth culture is not the culture of passive culture, addressee culture and consumer culture but the culture of active culture, addresser culture and producer culture. Further more, the practical actions as the culture of having new possibility in the stream of popular culture were found to be approached by epistemological and institutional practical actions. The importance of epistemological practice of youth culture is revealed as the importance of perspective. As far as youth culture is approached in the view of exclusive standpoint, there will be accompanied of limitation of closed youth culture. Thus, the possibility of open youth culture could be obtained by taking of the inclusive standpoint. Accordingly, the open possibility of youth culture will have the new possibility in the concept of open culture with open standpoint. That will be realized by the grand broad culture concept, not by the small narrow culture concept.
