양형 튜블러 샤프트 요크 적용 가변 슬라이딩 중간축 모듈의 토크 변경에 따른 응력 분포 특성 (The Effect of Torque Variation on the Stress Distribution Characteristics in A-IMS Module with both Side Tubular Shaft Yoke)

  • The objective of this study is to investigate the effect of torque variation on stress distributions in A-IMS module with both side tubular shaft yoke by numerically. In order to achieve this, the torque value was increased from 10Nm to 40Nm, and the results of this work were confirmed in terms of Von-mises Stress and the displacement characteristics. As the torque in module assembly was increased, the stress in tubular shaft york and splined shaft york was increased linearly. The indentation due to the steel ball was occurred in over $40N{\cdot}m$ torque which is over the yield strength condition. The largest displacement occurred in the tubular shaft yoke 1, however, it does not exceed the yield strength and is supposed to be restored due to the elasticity. Therefore, it was concluded that there is no problem for the manufacturing of A-IMS with both side tubular shaft yoke.

  • The objective of this study is to solve a problem that is occurred during the spline machining of tubular shaft yoke in both side IMS module. In order to simulate the problem, the movement direction of upper die was set as standard case and error case. The material of tubular shaft yoke was set to S20C as refer to the analysis library. The movement directions of upper die were separated with standard case and error case. The error case was set to simulate the problem in the spline machining of tubular shaft yoke. In order to solve the problem, the outer radius of upper die were modelled from 9.40mm to 9.44mm. The simulation results were analyzed and compared in terms of effective stress, metal flow line and folding phenomena characteristics. In case of the outer radius of upper die was 9.42mm, it was observed a relatively uniform effective stress distribution and had a straight metal flow line.

  • This paper deals with the problem of the magnetizing yoke fixture. The experimental test has been performed using the yoke fixture made of bakelite as well as ferromagnetic. The magnetizing current is the most essential criterial factor for delivering the impulse energy to the magnetized material, i.e ferrite core. The yoke of nonferromagnetic has shown its better performance in experimental results as well as in the finite element analysis.

  • This paper proposes a shaker system design for acceleration test of gimbal. Main reason of shaker system design is to give acceleration to the gimbal, which is moving and tracking the target on the tracking test equipment. The shaker system is mounted on the tracking test equipment. It uses the scotch yoke mechanism to have the constant movement in return. The Scotch yoke mechanism changes the rotational movement of constant velocity to simple harmonic motion.

  • The shock absorbing equipment for railway rolling is one of the most important components. It's effects on the safety of both passengers and vehicle itself and reduce shock, vibration and noise. The shock absorber equipment is mainly consisted of the yoke, plate and rubber draft gear. The objective of the this paper is to evaluation of structure and strength for the yoke in railway vehicles. Structure and strength analysis has been performed by use of finite element method and experimental stress analysis.

  • Until now, the clamp yoke of automobile has been largely manufactured by hot forging or burring process. Through the study, the precision cold forging process for clamp yoke has been analysed by using rigid-plastic finite element analysis code, DEFORM-3D. It has shown various results of the FEM simulation. An engineer should select the proper process considering the amount of product.

  • This paper presents optimal design of tooth and yoke width for increasing torque density when designing concentrated winding Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor(IPMSM) which is used currently. In case of IPM, characteristic of motor chages according to saturation, thus design consib dering saturation should be done. This paper proposed method to decide tooth and yoke width using magnetic equivalent circuit with calculated magnetic resistance. This method provide less effort and time than FEM using optimal design when deciding tooth and yoke width. Proposed method and FEM are compared and verified.

  • Optimization of geometry is one of the most important design process of the electrical motors. Tooth and yoke width are important variables that can maximize back emf and load torque among various design parameters. In this paper, in order to design the tooth and yoke width effectively, an equivalent magnetic circuit of one pole is constructed and an optimal value of tooth and yoke width resulting minimum reluctance are determined instead of a finite element analysis(FEA) that is time consuming.

  • In optical disk drives (ODD), the demands of high data density and high speed have been increasing rapidly to achieve high data capacity and data transfer rate. The short wavelength laser, High NA objective lens, and high track following performance are needed to raise data density and data rate. For high-performance actuator, the improvement of linearity and acceleration become more important. Also, 3-axis actuator for active tilt compensation is introduced to overcome the decrease in disk tilt tolerance which is induced by short wavelength laser. In this paper, a hybrid type 3-axis actuator is presented and a new yoke structure, which can reduce the interaction between yoke and moving magnet, is designed to keep the efficiency of magnetic circuit. Experimental results show the validity of the yoke in the hybrid type actuator.

  • We have developed the three-dimensional simulation tool for the design of deflection yoke. This tool consists of a modeler, a solver and a post-processor. The modeler easily makes models of Deflection Yoke (DY) and ferrite core (Circle, RAC and RTC) by the parameters and supports several element types (line, surface and quadrilateral). The solver calculates charge density and magnetic field of DY by boundary element method (BEM). We can simply evaluate misconvergence, distortion and inductance of DY in the post-processor, so we apply this simulation tool to 32" rectangular deflection yoke. We can conveniently implement the efficient development of DY in the future.
