In western, aromatherapy uses essential oils to prevent and treat disease, and is one of the ways to stay healthy. In oriental medicine, there was also a similar medical treatment using aromatic herbs for a long ago. The exisiting research of oriental medical herbs is mainly focused on the theory of qi and flavor(氣味論). But on aromatherapy used with aromatic herbs, it is necessary to study the aromatic herbs by aroma. So "xi$\bar{a}$ng p$\check{u}$, 香譜" and "b$\check{e}$n c$\check{a}$o g$\bar{a}$ng m$\grave{u}$, 本草綱目" mainly contain the study about clinical effects of aromatic herbs. And "b$\check{e}$n c$\check{a}$o p$\check{i}$n hu$\grave{i}$ j$\bar{i}$ng y$\grave{a}$o, 本草品彙精要"mainly explains the effects of medical herbs with five aroma classification of x$\bar{i}$ng(腥), sh$\bar{a}$n(膻), xi$\bar{a}$ng(香), ch$\grave{o}$u(臭), xi$\check{u}$(朽). The former one makes more clinical uses of medical herbs, and the latter one grows up the theory of medical herbs. This study is expected to have a good influence on aromatherapy and classification of oriental medical herbs.

Objectives : The aim of this study was to know the immunity response of Haedongpibokhap-bang($H{\check{a}}it{\acute{o}}ngp{\acute{i}}f{\grave{u}}h{\acute{e}}-f{\bar{a}}ng$) to rheumatoid arthritis in collagen-induced arthritis(CIA) mice. Methods : For this purpose, Haedongpibokhap-bang($H{\check{a}}it{\acute{o}}ngp{\acute{i}}f{\grave{u}}h{\acute{e}}-f{\bar{a}}ng$) was orally administerd to mice with arthritis induced by collagen II and then value of immunocyte in spleen, draining lymph node and paw joint and cytokine(IL-6, $TNF-{\alpha}$), rheumatoid factor (IgG and IgM) in serum were measured. Results : 1. The arthritis index was significantly decreased. 2. In total cell counts of spleen, DLN and paw joint, the cells in spleen decreased while there was a significant increase in DLN and significant decrease in paw joint. 3. In lymph nodes, CD3+, CD3+/CD69+, CD4+, CD8+ cells increased significantly. 4. In joints, CD3+ and CD11+b/Gr-1+ cells decreased significantly. 5. Serum IL-6 and $TNF-{\alpha}$ were decreased significantly. 6. Production of serum IgG and IgM decreased significantly. Conclusions : The results present that Haedongpibokhap-bang($H{\check{a}}it{\acute{o}}ngp{\acute{i}}f{\grave{u}}h{\acute{e}}-f{\bar{a}}ng$) controls abnormal activity of immune system, inhibitig collagen-induced arthritis(CIA).

Objective: Yikgeebohyul-tang (Yiqib$\check{u}$xu$\grave{e}$-t$\bar{a}$ng) is one of the representative prescriptions for invigoration of vitality and nourishing of the blood. This study was carried out to investigate the effects of Yikgeebohyul-tang (Yiqib$\check{u}$xu$\grave{e}$-t$\bar{a}$ng) on hair regrowth and cytokine changes in a shaving model of C57BL6 mice. Method: Five-week-old mice were acclimated for 1 week at a temperature between $21-23^{\circ}C{\acute{E}}$, 40-60% relative humidity, and 12h of a light/dark cycle before beginning of the experiment. There were two groups including normal saline (control) and a positive control of oral intake of Yikgeebohyul-tang (Yiqib$\check{u}$xu$\grave{e}$-t$\bar{a}$ng) extract (sample) in 18 female mice. The test compounds were topically treated once a day over 14 days. The hair regrowth was photographically and histologically determined during the experimental period of 14 days. Revelation of TGF-${\beta}1$ and EGF were also determined using immunohistochemistry. In addition to that, IFN-$\gamma$, IL-4 and IL-10 were determined in serum. Results: Hair regrowth in the sample group was promoted earlier and faster than the control group, as shown by concentrations of hairs and thick-hair ratio in the sample group. TGF-${\beta}1$ was not revealed in either control or sample group. EGF was strongly positive in out root sheath of some thick hair of the sample group. Serum IFN-$\gamma$ was significantly decreased in the sample group compared with the control group at 7 experimental days. However, it was not significantly decreased at 14 experimental days. Serum IL-4 was significantly increased in the sample group compared with the control group at 7 experimental days. However, it was not significantly decreased at 14 experimental days. Serum IL-10 was decreased in the sample group compared with the control group, but with no real statistical significance. Conclusion: These results suggest that Yikgeebohyul-tang (Yiqib$\check{u}$xu$\grave{e}$-t$\bar{a}$ng) has hair growth promoting activity and it can be used for treatment of alopecia. Also, these effects relate to EGF revelation of hair roots, a decrease in serum IFN-$\gamma$, and an increase of serum IL-4.

Objective : Bone homeostasis is maintained by balance of bone formation and resorption. Therefore, bone related diseases arose by disturbance of this balance between osteoblast and osteoclast activities. To develop a successful screening system of the therapeutic components based on oriental medicine is essential to set out systematic approach for that purpose. Methods : This study was perforated Sprague-Dawley rat femur for bony defects(${\phi}5mm$) by the fissure bur. And experimetal group were treated with Cervi Pantotricuhum Cornu injection at both $Sh{\grave{e}}nsh{\tilde{u}}$(BL23) & $D{\grave{a}}zh{\grave{u}}(BL11)(0.2m{\ell})$. This was evaluated by radiography and histological analysis with in situ hybridization. Results : Cervi Pantotricuhum Cornu Herbal Acupuncture has weak effect on bony defect healing and this was evaluated by X-ray taking and histological analysis with in situ hybridization. Osteocalcin gene expression was not changed by Cervi Pantotricuhum Cornu Herbal Acupuncture in bony defects animal model. Conclusion : Taken together this study show that the Cervi Pantotricuhum Cornu herbal-acupuncture has a weak effect healing of bony defects, this type of approach might give a good chance to explore the favorable effects of Cervi Pantotricuhum Cornu herbal-acupuncture on bone tissue.

The purpose of this study was to report the effect of Bogijetong-tang on post-herpetic neuralgia(PHN). The main symptoms were numbness, pain, burning, paresthesia on left dorsum pedis and insomina. We prescribed Bogijetong-tang (BJT) three times a day and performed acupuncture and moxibustion twice a day. We observed the change of symptoms to evaluate the therapeutic effect. The symptoms were evaluated with numerical rating scale(NRS). After the treatment, pain decreased from 8 to 3, burning from 5 to 1, paresthesia from 7 to 5, numbness from 5 to 3 and insomina improved. Above the results, Bogijetongtang is effective in treating post-herpetic neuralgia.

동양 산학에 사용된 논리를 탐구하기 위하여, 고대 중국 사회가 지녔던 기본 개념을 동양 철학의 관점에서 살펴보고, 묵자의 논리학과 순자의 인식론을 살펴본다. 그래서 동양 산학은 나름대로의 논리를 지니고 있었고, 그러한 논리가 서양의 형식 논리와는 다른, 그리고 산학 자체가 동양 산학의 논리임을 알아본다.

The purpose of this study is to understand the living culture of transnational married women and to analyze the out door play of children in their hometown. The data was collected through observation from 27th June to 7th July 2008 in Jian, Jilin Province China. The children's play and lifestyles were observed, and data pertaining to the culture of the people were collected by a teacher and staff. We also visited the residents for housing information. The results are given below. 1. They dressed in Korean clothes on festive days and the boys put on a hood. They had eating habits which included cooking for themselves or buying semi-manufactured goods but did not use, instant food. The housing habits involved a combination of cooking and heating by Korean floor heating system(Ondol). They utilized outdoor space to grow vegetables. Those with a fulltime job(teacher) preferred to live in an apartment but an apartment was too expensive. Public utility charges and traffic expenses were cheap. 2. The main festive days are the lunar New Year's Day and Chuseok. The children returned home and enjoyed the festive day with their parents. The language used are Korean language and Chinese. Some Korean words and phrases in Jian Joseonjok have different meanings as compared to how they are used in Korea. A capping ceremony did not to celebrate becoming an adult from an adolescent. Couples performed a wedding ceremony at a wedding hall attended by their parents and invited relatives from both families. The relatives gave the couple a wedding gift. They did not go on a wedding trip as it was not affordable but instead spent their wedding night at a hotel in this culture. When someone dies, they bury the body after cremation. They perform a memorial service for three years on the birthday of the departed. They have a banquet on the 60th birthdays with their relatives and neighbours and are typically presented with a carp for longevity. 3. They understand capitalism and therefore send their children to school to improve their social position. The Korean and Chinese languages are required subjects in school. The students choose a second language(English or Russian). They prefer English class but at the time of this study an English class was not offered at the school in Jian Joseonjok. Therefore the children entered a Chinese school. 4. The children play outdoor games such as Y$\acute{a}$o J$\grave{i}\bar{a}$(要家), X$\grave{i}$ang g$\grave{i}$(象棋), T$\grave{i}\grave{a}$o p$\acute{i}$ j$\grave{i}$n(r)(跳皮節), D$\grave{o}$uch ing g$\grave{u}$n 凍冷根, B$\bar{e}$i B$\bar{e}$i 背背, and soccer. They play games according to the season.

One case of patient with urinary retention was reported in this clinical study. After the study, the results were as follows: 1. Anulesis belongs to l$\acute{o}$ng-bi(癃閉) in oriental medicine and the patient of this case belongs to chronic anulesis. 2. The patient of this case was thought as broke out anuresis by vesical nerve palsy of diabetic bladder pathy and sequela of stroke, and ischuria of long lie down 3. The patient of this case changeable process is supposed to urinary frequency, 'bi(閉)', 'l$\acute{o}$ong(癃)', urinary incontinence and urinary frequency. 4. First time of drug treatment is GAMIPHALJENG-SAN(ji$\bar{a}$-w$\grave{e}$i-b$\bar{a}$-h$\bar{e}$ng-s$\check{a}$n) by oral administration that action of alleviate a fever, water utilization and metaphase, convalescence time of drug treatment is PHALMIWANGAMI (b$\bar{a}$-w$\grave{e}$i-w$\acute{a}$n-ji$\bar{a}$-w$\grave{e}$i), YIKLUENG-TANG(yi-ling-t$\bar{a}$ng), CHUKYOO-TANG(s$\grave{u}$-ni$\grave{a}$o-t$\bar{a}$ng) that action of recreation. 5. Accupuncture treatment is s$\bar{a}$n-x$\bar{i}$ng-xuw$\acute{e}$, zw$\acute{u}$-s$\bar{a}$n-li, qi-h$\check{a}$i, gu$\bar{a}$n-yu$\acute{a}$n, zh$\bar{o}$ng-ji by mild supplementing and reducing manipulation of needle and heat accupuncture is qi-h$\check{a}$i, gu$\bar{a}$n-yu$\acute{a}$n, zh$\bar{o}$ng-ji-xu$\acute{e}$. 6. The other treatment is a sitz bath that prevent of urinary tract infection, and relieve of initial acute auresis by using of urethral catheterization.

$Ces{\grave{a}}ro$ summability is a generalized convergence criterion for infinite series. We have investigated the classical results of summability for Fourier series from 1897 to 1957. In this paper, we are concerned with the summability and summation methods for Fourier Series from 1960 to 2010. Many authors have studied the subject during this period. Especially, G.M. Petersen,$K{\hat{o}}si$ Kanno, S.R. Sinha, Fu Cheng Hsiang, Prem Chandra, G. D. Dikshit, B. E. Rhoades and others had studied neoclassical results on the summability of Fourier series from 1960 to 1989. We investigate the results on the summability for Fourier series from 1990 to 2010 in section 3. In conclusion, we present the research minor lineage on summability for Fourier series from 1960 to 2010. $H{\ddot{u}}seyin$ Bor is the earliest researcher on ${\mid}{\bar{N}},p_n{\mid}_k$-summability. Thus we consider his research results and achievements on ${\mid}{\bar{N}},p_n{\mid}_k$-summability and ${\mid}{\bar{N}},p_n,{\gamma}{\mid}_k$-summability.

Objectives : The result is the followings after investingating composition, dosage and usage of Yukmijihwang-Hwan(六味地黃丸) in literature by country and Era. Methods : Investigated Classics of Oriental Medicine that Yukmijihwang-Hwan is first described. Results : Found 42 literatures searching Yukmijihwang-Hwan in Classics of Oriental Medicine. Literature that Yukmijihwang-Hwan is recorded by first was Yinhaijingwei(銀海精微), but capacity has not recorded. Yukmijihwang-Hwan Medicinal Decoction that eat(Yukmijihwang-Tang: 5 times) as pill than eat(Yukmijihwang-Hwan: 37 times) was more. Literature that composition of Yukmijihwang-Hwan is recorded by Rehmannia glutinosa(熟地黃) is 8 Ryang(兩), Poria cocos(白茯苓) is 3 Ryang, Paeonia suffruticosa(牧丹皮) is 3 Ryang, Alisma Canaliculatum (澤瀉) 3 Ryang, Cornus officinalis(山茱萸) 4 Ryang, Dioscorea batatus(山藥) 4 Ryang was most. Conclusions : Yukmijihwang-Hwan wat difference in composition and capacity that Chinese and Korean Classics of Oriental Medicine. After Dongeuibogam of the Korea is published, composition and capacity are connected until today.
