Development and Verification of Operation Management Tool for KASS

  • In order to provide continuous Korea Augmentation Satellite System (KASS) services, the operation organization should continuously and systematically perform operations, maintenance, and technical activities. All subsystems of KASS, all Line Replacement Units (LRUs), and Software Replacement Units (SWRUs) should be operated and maintained continuously. In order to effectively manage these activities, it is necessary to develop an Operation Management Tool (OMT). For this purpose, operation management, operation organization, and operation activities were defined. The defined requirements were divided into general, function, interface, and database for OMT development, and functions and decision-making procedures consisting of site/asset/trouble/work order/schedule management were designed. The OMT developed by reflecting the site and asset information as well as the design content met predefined requirements. The OMT will be actively used in actual KASS operation and will evolve by continuously reflecting the additional requirements of operators. Through this tool, KASS will support continuous service provision.

공동주택 공종별 수선비용 예측모델 연구 - 옥상방수 공사와 승강기 공사를 중심으로 - (The Forecasting Model of the Repair Cost in Apartment Housing - Focused roof water proofing and Elevator work -)

  • Purpose: Most if buildings need various repair works for preventing or delaying the deterioration which gives rise to affect the living condition or function after constructed. Therefore, a long-term repair schedule should be planned and a repair cost is required. In this paper, it aimed at providing the statistical forecast model for a repair cost in roof water-proofing work and elevator work using statistical approach with three variables such as number of household, management area and a elapsed year. Data are collected in apartment housings which are located in Seoul area and conducted with interview and questionnaire sheet. Each analyzed work is divided into a partly work and fully work. Results of this study are shown that, first, the regression model takes a multiplying type like a Cobb-Douglas function and is changed into the log-linear type to include the three variable simultaneously. Second, the goodness-of-fit of the repair cost forecasting model has a good statistics in determinant's coefficient and Dubin-Watson value. Third, the management area is stronger factor than other the number of household and an elapsed year in roof water-proofing work and elevator work.

  • 본 연구는 대형 건설사업의 공기 및 공정계획 적정성 검증에 있어서 Bar Chart, CPM 등 기존 공정계획 기법의 한계를 극복하기 위한 대안으로 시뮬레이션 기법의 효용성을 검증하기 위한 연구를 수행하였다. 이를 위하여 현재 한국 수자원공사에서 추진 중에 있는 시화 멀티테크노 밸리 사업을 대상사업으로 선정하였다. 시화 테크노밸리 단지조성 사업은 대규모 사업으로 많은 장비가 동시에 투입되어 대량의 교통 혼잡을 유발할 수 있는 건설 프로젝트이다. 특히 시화 멀티 테크노벨리 현장은 시화공단과 대부도 관광단지를 인접하고 있어 이미 상당한 규모의, 기존 교통량으로 인하여 매우 혼잡한 지역이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 기존 교통량에 추가적으로 공사차량이 증가할 경우 공기 내에 공사를 마칠 수 있는지에 대한 평가를 위한 시뮬레이션 모델을 구축하고, 적정 공기의 검증 및 공정계획 수립을 위한 방안을 제시 하였다.

성과측정유닛을 활용한 건설 비용 - 일정 통합관리 방안 (Construction Cost-Schedule Integration Management Methodolgy by using Progress Integration Unit)

  • 건설 프로젝트의 생산과정에서 성과를 지속적으로 측정하고 평가하는 것은 프로젝트관리의 성공적인 수행을 위한 핵심요소이다. 성과는 일반적으로 목적물에 할당 된 공정과 원가 관련 정보를 정량적으로 평가함으로써 측정되며, 객관적인 성과측정을 위해 공정과 원가가 통합적으로 계획 관리되어야 한다. 본 연구는 공정과 원가의 통합 모델을 통해 성과 측정 방법론을 제안하고 진도관리의 기반을 마련하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 공정계획과 원가계획의 표준화된 업무 프로세스를 개발하였고, EVM과 기존의 통합 모델을 분석하여, 성과측정 유닛을 활용한 WBS와 CBS의 통합 방법론을 제시하였다. 플랜트 프로젝트의 시공단계를 중심으로 공통 성과측정의 대상은 공종으로 선정하여 성과측정 유닛을 규정하고 공정과 비용정보를 연계시켜 성과비율을 산정하였다. 또한 리소스의 적용시 원가요소 중 소모성자원의 비용을 배제하여 진도측정의 객관성을 향상하였다. 본 결과는 실제 플랜트 사례 프로젝트에 적용하여 실증되었으며, 개발된 방법론은 향후 프로젝트의 성과를 보다 객관적인 기준으로 평가할 수 있어 보다 효과적인 진도관리 방법이 될 것으로 판단된다.

  • 지식 기반 사회가 구축되면서 처리해야 할 업무 프로세스의 규모가 커지고 분석할 정보의 양이 증가함으로 인해 프로세스 관리와 개선에 대한 필요성이 높아지고 있다. 이에, 각 기업은 비즈니스 모델에 적합한 프로세스 모델을 조직 환경에 구축하고자 노력하고 있다. 기업의 프로세스 구축에 실용적 도움을 주기 위해 본 논문에서는 프로세스 정의에 6시그마 도구, 일정 관리에 PSP 도구를 적용한다. 그리고 제안한 도구의 효율적 사용을 위한 프로세스 정의와 일정 관리 절차를 제시한다. 제안한 기법의 목표는 조직 및 개인 차원의 프로세스 관리에 적용하여 기업은 시장이 필요로 하는 시간(Time to Market)에 프로세스 목표를 달성하는 것이다. 또한, 개인은 수집된 일정 데이타를 근거로 개인 프로세스의 개선점을 식별하여 개선할 수 있도록 지원하는 것이다.

The Efficacy of Visual Activity Schedule Intervention in Reducing Problem Behaviors in Children With Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder Between the Age of 5 and 12 Years: A Systematic Review

  • Objectives: Children with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) tend to be noisy and violate rules with their disruptive behaviors, resulting in greater difficulties with off-task behaviors and being at risk for social refusal. The visual activity schedule (VAS) intervention program is a frequently used method to teach multiple skills involving on-task, use of schedules, transition behaviors, social initiation, independent play skills, classroom skills, and academic skills. The current systematic review aimed to examine the efficacy of using VAS intervention in reducing problem behaviors in children with ADHD between 5 and 12 years of age. Methods: Systematic searches were conducted using two electronic databases (PubMed and Scopus) to identify relevant studies published in English between 2010 and 2020. Four studies met the inclusion criteria: two studies examined the effect of schedule-based tasks and the use of an iPad on classroom skills, while the other two examined randomized clinical trials (RCTs) of psychosocial treatment for ADHD inattentive type and a cross-sectional study examined the impact of the group size on task behavior and work productivity in children with ADHD. Results: The findings indicate that the interventions used in all four studies could lead to increased satisfaction among participants and parents, as well as a reduction in problem behavior. In terms of the research indicators, the RCT had low quality, while the others were of high quality. Conclusion: A larger number of studies and the ADHD clinical population would help to increase the generalizability of future reviews of treatments in this context.

Risk Factors for Breast Cancer, Including Occupational Exposures

  • The knowledge on the etiology of breast cancer has advanced substantially in recent years, and several etiological factors are now firmly established. However, very few new discoveries have been made in relation to occupational risk factors. The International Agency for Research on Cancer has evaluated over 900 different exposures or agents to-date to determine whether they are carcinogenic to humans. These evaluations are published as a series of Monographs (www.iarc.fr). For breast cancer the following substances have been classified as "carcinogenic to humans" (Group 1): alcoholic beverages, exposure to diethylstilbestrol, estrogen-progestogen contraceptives, estrogen-progestogen hormone replacement therapy and exposure to X-radiation and gamma-radiation (in special populations such as atomic bomb survivors, medical patients, and in-utero exposure). Ethylene oxide is also classified as a Group 1 carcinogen, although the evidence for carcinogenicity in epidemiologic studies, and specifically for the human breast, is limited. The classification "probably carcinogenic to humans" (Group 2A) includes estrogen hormone replacement therapy, tobacco smoking, and shift work involving circadian disruption, including work as a flight attendant. If the association between shift work and breast cancer, the most common female cancer, is confirmed, shift work could become the leading cause of occupational cancer in women.

건설공사 상대적 위험도 산정 (Estimating Relative Risk Level of Construction Work)

  • Standard safety management costs can not be applied to each site with same rate, it is very difficult, because it depends on the experience, work method, work kind, work progress schedule, and hazard level of each construction company. Therefore, this study is to find out hazard level of each work kinds through questionnaire and interview and investigate analyze the status which standard safety management costs have been used. Also, this study is to show reasonable rates of standard safety management costs in construction industry and to set up countermeasures against those problem after reviewing its status in korea with in Japan and Europe. The domestic system of standard safety management costs is not considered in the foreign country, while only related subjective items have been investigated and evaluated for this study. This study is to investigate eleven project kinds of domestic system, first, and to investigate eleven items of apartment bldg, office, civil work such as bridge, tunnel, dam, plant etc, secondly. Additionally, three items of gymnasium, railway, particular steel tower are investigated in this study. Also this study is to investigate and analyze performed costs of presently processing worker finished work so that it shows a new reasonable rate against standard safety management costs in construction industry, in order to make basial data and material to be systemized.

위탁급식업체에서의 조리사 근무 스케줄에 대한 효율적 관리방안에 관한 연구 -'K' 업장의 사례를 중심으로- (A Study on Effective Management Plans for Work Schedule of Cooks in Contracted Foodservice Companies)

  • With large corporations entering into the foodservice market, competitions among those foodservice providers became intense, leading to differentiated quality services in terms of portioning out the meal, its portion and waiting time, not to mention food quality. The purpose of providing foodservice is to satisfy its customers, to secure optimum level of profits, and attain continuous quality improvement. To have such purpose attained, all other factors affecting the foodservice should be allowed to play a role. The intensity of the work performed by the employees should be maintained at a steady level and systematically controlled. 'Service First’ principles upholding that customer satisfaction comes from good service should be applied at all times; customer satisfaction comes from the satisfaction of the employees. Customer satisfaction through good service will contribute to an increase in revenue which we get by subtracting operating expenses from the total sales, as it will lead to concluding a long-term supply contract or renewing the existing contract. To keep the operating expenses to the minimum level, it is important to effectively perform the cost control. Since personnel expenses occupy a large portion of the operating expenses, it is imperative to effectively control the labor costs. For this reason, this study will present an effective program for disposition of men with a large organization being centered around, where the number of people served at the mess hall varies greatly depending on a day of the week and a mealtime of the day.

TBM 굴착 공법 적용 현장의 생산성 분석을 통한 암질별 굴진속도 및 직접공사비 분석 (Analysis of Excavation Speed and Direct Construction Cost Based on the Operating Productivities of TBM Method Site)

  • 본 연구는 대표적인 TMB 장비 회사인 독일 WRITH사에서 개발한 TMB 공법 적용 현장의 굴진보고서를 수집하여 작업운영 생산성을 분석하였다. 그리고 분석된 자료를 근거로 구경별(3.0m, 3.5m, 3.8m) 굴진속도(m/일)를 도출하였다. 또한, 도출된 구경별 굴진속도를 근거로 독일의 WRITH사에서 구경별로 제시한 1m당 굴진에 소요되는 직접공사비를 적용하여 총 직접공사비를 산출하였다. 암질별 구경별로 도출된 굴진속도는 향후 유사한 암질에서 공사를 수행할 때, 공사 착수 전 총작업일수 및 총직접공사비의 산정을 활용한 공정 계획 및 관리를 수행하는데 효과적인 활용 자료가 될 것으로 사료된다.
