물리치료사의 스트레스와 직무만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인분석 (An Analysis of Factors Affecting Job Stress and Job Satisfaction of the Physical Therapists in Korea)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the working condition of physical therapists and the degree of job satisfaction. This study also was to identify the causes of job stress: to examine job stress and job satisfaction; and to find factors that affect job satisfaction for physical therapists in Korea. A self-administered questionnaire survey was conducted from February 17 to March 15 in 2003. Survey data was obtained from 255 therapists registered in Korean Physical-Therapists Association. Results were as follows: 1. The degree of job satisfaction was moderate. 2. The degree of stress with their work was a little high. 3. Duty itself is one of the main factors of job stress of physical therapists. Working atmosphere and the relationships with job colleagues turned to be closely related to the degree of satisfaction. 4. The longer their total term of service was and the older they are, the greater the satisfaction with work was. In conclusion, the physical therapists can be encouraged to do their work more energetically and voluntarily. At the same time, the feeling of mission can also grow by shortening of working hours, reducing the quantity of work, and offering more salary. It is also to recommend an effective performance of duty and the development of their medical service to be introduced.

  • In the relationship between exhibition space and art work in art museum, the Pluralism on the late of the 20th century made the new form of exhibition space to be appeared on the stage. Even if formal exhibition space that emphasized itself as a non-spatial background is currently being continued, the informal form of exhibition space is coming to the new art museums, especially after 1990's. This study is to understand how the advent of new designed the informal form of exhibition space in the Glytothek museum(the formal form of exhibition space) design a new paradigm In the relation between the exhibition space and art work in conjunction with public's perception. To do this, it is made clear that the Glytothek museum(the formal form of exhibition space) simply has played a role of non-spatial background. In other hands, the new designed informal form of exhibition space that is mainly presented after 1990's begins to Interrupt the public's perception of art work, changing it's meaning through a spatiality.

The Impact of Extrinsic Work Factors on Job Satisfaction and Organizational Commitment at Higher Education Institutions in Vietnam

  • The purpose of this study is to explore the link between job satisfaction and organizational commitment at higher education institutions (HEIs) in emerging countries such as Vietnam and to determine extrinsic work factors that influence job satisfaction. Higher education is critical for socio-economic growth and the overall development of each country. Hence, an understanding of what motivates employees' actions and attitudes should be obtained before determining the extent of employee satisfaction. The conceptual model was developed by incorporating job satisfaction-related variables, their relationships, and the impact of job satisfaction on organizational commitment. An empirical study was conducted on a study sample of public and private universities, with 316 academics and non-academic employees surveyed. The current study employed the partial least squares structural equation modeling to test the proposed hypotheses. The results reveal a positive and significant relationship between job satisfaction and organizational commitment. The findings confirm that extrinsic work factors (job itself, supervision, working conditions, payment, and reward and recognition) have a positive and significant relationship with job satisfaction. Furthermore, the study indicates that employees at HEIs who have a high level of ability utilization and supervisor support are more likely to be satisfied with their jobs.

  • The objective of cell operation in CIM is to maximize system efficiency, not the cell itself. We introduce a cell operation scheme that pursues the direction. For specific cases, work center and AS/RS are closely investigated. Structures of their operation mechanism and methods of job scheduling are introduced along with an expert system developed for the scheme. The cell operation softwares developed are now under test at K.U.FMS, a model CIM plant.

Pregnancy Outcome Following Previous Induced Abortion

  • Considerable data has been reported on the outcome of pregnancies subsequent to induced abortion, but the findings contain a great deal of inconsistency and disagreement. Most studies strongly suggest that normal deliveries are less likely to occur in subsequent pregnancies following induced abortion, in terms of gestation length, birth weight, stillbirth, and miscarriage. Other work suggests that some of the demographic and health characteristics of women who experience induced abortion are different from those women who do not; and these factors may affect the outcome of subsequent pregnancies profoundly rather than the induced abortion itself.

학교급식 영양사의 직무특성과 직무가치관이 조직몰입과 직무만족에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Job Characteristics and Work Values on Organizational Commitment and Job Satisfaction of the School Foodservice Dietitians)

  • This study aims to investigate the effects of job characteristics and work on both organizational commitment and job satisfaction of the school foodservice dietitian for the purpose of providing information for quality improvement in productivity of school foodservice. The subjects were 401 school foodservice dietitians in Taegu and the Kyungpook area. The survey questionnaires consisted of five parts including demographic characteristics, job characteristics(JCI), work values, organizational commitment(OCQ) and job satisfaction(JDI). More than half of the subjects(65.3%) were between the age of 26 to 30 years. Seventy-one percent of the participants had bachelor’s degrees and monthly wages of 83.2% ranged from 700,000 to 1,200,000 won. The education of thedietitians was found to have a significant relatinship with job satisfaction in all fields. Job characteristics such as feedback, job characcteristics such as job autonomy, feedback and friendship were positively correlated with job satisfaction. The group of dietitians with high work value scores for work as a central life interest had significantly high scores in organizational commitment(p<0.01) and overall job satisfaction(p<0.05). Job satisfaction such as work-itself, pay, supervision, promotion and co-workers were positively correlated with organizational commitment. According to the Lisrel program, organizational commitment was affected by educational level(-0.23). Job satisfaction was also affected by educational level(-0.18), autonomy(0.24), friendship(0.12), feedback(0.08), individualism(-0.07) and organizational commitment(0.44) directly. In conclusion, school foodservice dietitians may increase the level of their commitment to organization and job satisfaction by increasing autonomy, feedback adn friendship of job characteristics and work values.

공공부조수급자의 "일에 대한 태도" 척도 개발 (A Development for 'Attitude toward Work Scale' on Welfare Recipients)

  • 본 연구는 공공부조수급자의 일에 대한 태도를 보다 객관적으로 측정할 수 있는 측정도구를 개발하기 위해 시도되었다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 일에 대한 태도와 관련된 다양한 기존 척도들을 심층적으로 검토하였으며, 전문가조사와 실증조사를 실시하는 등 체계적인 연구절차를 진행하였다. 연구결과 공공부조수급자의 일에 대한 태도는 11개 문항 5점 척도이며, 독립과 자립, 일 자체, 근면과 성공이라는 세 개의 요인으로 구성되었다. 본 척도에 대해 3개의 하위요인에 의해 설명되는 누적설명력은 54.9%였으며 내적 신뢰도는 ${\alpha}=.79$였다. 본 연구에서 개발된 척도에 의해 측정된 공공부조 수급자의 일에 대한 태도는 55점 만점에 43.9점으로 비교적 높은 수준의 일에 대한 긍정적 태도를 가지고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 기존 연구들에 비해 이론적 검토 및 실증적 검증 절차를 거쳐 공공부조수급자의 일에 대한 태도 측정도구를 개발한 연구라는 점에 의의를 갖는다. 또한 공공부조수급자의 일에 대한 태도에 대한 과학적 측정도구의 적용으로 향후 학문적 연구주제가 다양화될 수 있을 뿐 아니라 현재 우리나라 공공부조 정책의 개선과 보완에도 기여할 수 있을 것이라 기대된다.

미용종사자의 업무가치감이 직무만족을 매개로 서비스 생산성에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Work Value of Beauty Industry Workers on Service Productivity Through Job Satisfaction)

  • 본 연구는 미용종사자의 업무가치감이 직무만족을 매개로 서비스 생산성에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 분석한 연구이다. 연구결과 서비스 생산성에 영향을 미치는 요인을 실시한 결과는 업무가치감이 높고, 직무만족이 높을수록 서비스생산성이 높아짐을 알 수 있다. 또한 가치충족인식, 내재적만족, 업무가치인식, 자기가치인식, 외재적 만족이 높을수록 서비스생산성이 높아짐을 알 수 있었다. 또한 미용종사자의 업무가치감이 직무만족을 매개로 서비스향상에 미치는 영향을 알아본 결과 |Z|=15.057로 Z값이 1.96보다 큰 값을 보여 sobel test에서도 직무만족의 매개효과는 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과를 토대로 미용종사들이 스스로 자신의 업무가 의미있고, 가치 있으면 보람되다고 인지할 수 있도록 내적동기를 상승시키고 일 자체에서 오는 만족감, 내재적 직무만족을 향상시킴으로서 서비스 생산성을 극대화 시킬 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

소규모 조직의 지식경영시스템 활성화 방안 (KMS reinforcement method in the small organization)

  • When small organizations construct and operate Knowledge Management System(KMS), there exists inefficiency in employee participation and system usage. In recent years, web itself is evolving into web 2.0. And It is crucial to utilize web 2.0 characteristics into KMS. The problems in the original version of KMS(KMS 1.0) is as follows. KMS is separated from Offline and electronic work processing systems. Even information in the electronic work processing system cannot be accessed by employees of other divisions in the same organization. Now web 2.0 environment provides more enhanced user participation and information sharing. It also reinforces KMS 1.0 into KMS 2.0. Small organizations should take advantage of web 2.0 environment and construct the better version KMS of its own with low-cost and high-efficiency.
