The purpose of this study was to identify the effect nursing organizational culture and happiness index on turnover intention among nurses. The subjects of this study were 377 nurses who were working at 3 general hospitals in B city. The data were collected by structured questionnaire from July 1 to August 28 of 2013. The data collected were analyzed with SPSS Win 20.0 using descriptive methods, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient and Stepwise multiple regression. Turnover intention were significant negative correlation for affiliative oriented organizational culture(r=-.137, p=.008), happiness index(r=-.290, p<.001). There were significant positive correlation for innovative oriented organizational culture(r=.123, p=.017), rank oriented organizational culture(r=.126, p=.015), task oriented organizational culture(r=.218, p<.001). Factors affecting for turnover intention were happiness index(${\beta}$=-.297, p<.001), rank oriented organizational culture(${\beta}$=.266, p<.001), nursing experience(${\beta}$=.199, p=.009), affiliative oriented organizational culture(${\beta}$=-.142, p=.034). The explained variances for were turnover intention among nurses 17.2%. Based on the study consider to development and education program of happiness index and affiliative oriented organizational culture for nurses in the hospital setting.
This study was to identify the influence of organizational commitment, nursing work environment, emotional labor on turnover intention of general hospital nurses. The participants were 129 nurses in general hospitals with 100~300 beds in G metropolitan city. Data was collected with questionnaire, during Aug, 1 to 20, 2020. The result of this study, organizational commitment 3.19, nursing work environment was 2.75, emotional labor was 3.19, turnover intention was 3.16. The factors affecting turnover intention are organizational commitment and emotional labor, these variables explained 32.0% of the variance. The results of this study, it can be used as basic data for developing intervention programs to reduce turnover intention of general hospital nurses.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship of job satisfaction and self-esteem of dental hygienists and nurse's aides. Data were obtained from 327 dental hygienists and nurse's aides who were working at dental clinics, hospitals located in Seoul city. The results, derived from using the SPSS 10.0, were as follows: (1) The level of job satisfaction was 3.02 point, the level of self-esteem was 3.41 point. (2) Service organization and types of occupation have influenced meaningfully on job satisfaction. Hospitals(3.14) are higher than dental clinics(3.0), dental hygienists(3.14) are higher than nurse's aides(2.92). (3) Service organization and types of occupation have influenced meaningfully on self-esteem. Hospitals(3.55) are higher than dental clinics(3.39), dental hygienists(3.52) are higher than nurse's aides(3.31). (4) The correlation between job satisfaction and self-esteem of dentistry employee showed statistically significant correlation.

Purpose : To examine the relationship among osteoporosis knowledge, osteoporosis preventive behaviors, self-efficacy and health-related quality of life of middle aged women and to find out factors which influence health-related quality of life. Methods : For study subjects, female patients aged 40 to 64 and hospitalized at the surgical wards of two general hospitals in G city were conveniently sampled. The data have been collected from January 11 to March 10, 2018. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe's test, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple regression. Results : The average score of osteoporosis knowledge was 12.50±3.47, the average score of osteoporosis preventive behaviors was 44.96±8.16 and the average score of osteoporosis self-efficacy was 40.38±8.07. The factors influencing EQ-5D Index in health-related quality of life were comorbidity, osteoporosis preventive behaviors, osteoporosis knowledge and average monthly income, which could account for health-related quality of life at 18.0%. The factors influencing EQ-5D VAS were osteoporosis preventive behaviors, self-efficacy, osteoporosis knowledge and age of menarche, which could account for health-related : Higher osteoporosis knowledge, osteoporosis preventive behaviors and self-efficacy, the better the subjects health-related quality of life. Therefore, as a way to promote health-related quality of life of middle aged women, the constant development and the application of a program which may promote osteoporosis knowledge, osteoporosis preventive behaviors and self-efficacy are needed.
The purpose of this study is to find out the menopausal symptom of middle-aged women and their self-care on it. This study also intended to awaken the relationship of the menopausal symptom and self-care and to provide basic data on the health education of middle-aged women. For this purpose, the study (1) identified respondents background variables, (2) found menopausal symptom and the state of self-care, (3) analyzed relationship between general character, menopausal symptom, and self-care, (4) analyzed the relationship of menopausal symptom and self-care for 543 random sampled women in City of Incheon. The questionnaire consisted of 25 questions on the menopausal symptom interview by Neugarton translated by Jung Hae Ran(1985) and questions of the self-care inventory by Orem reconstructed by Sung Moon Hee(1988). The data were analyzed by using frequency, percentage, t-test, X²-test, pearson's correlation coefficient with SPSS statistical package. The results of this study could be summed up as follows ; 1. The Degree of menopausal symptom were graded from 25 to 75. (x 40.85, s. d. 8. 6.) 2. The test of relationship between the individual background and the menopausal symptom revealed that there seemed to be statistically significant correlation between the sexual life, life-content, the level of education, menstruation(p<0.000). 3. In the test of relationship between the individual background and the self-care process, (1) in case of insight of symptom, there seemed to be statistically significant correlation between the self-content(r=0.1463), sexual life(r= -0.1376), menstruation(r=0.1561), and artificial abortion(r=0.1577), (p<0.001), (2) In case of self-health control, there seemed to be statistical correlation between the states of menstruation and the number of induced abortion. (3) In case of self-health decision, there seemed to be statistically significant correlation between the number of visiting hospitals or clinics and the level of education(r=0.106), the self-content(r=0.1235), induced abortion(r=0.1343) (p<0.0000). And also individual background can show the 40.21 percent of self-health maintenance. 4. The relationship between menopausal symptom and self-care has a significant meaning to the insight of symptom, self-health decision according to the groups of menopausal symptom(p<0.000), but it doesn't have any meaning to self-health control. And self-health maintenance can manifest the 19.88 percent of menopausal symptom.

This study was to identify the association between osteoporosis knowledge and performance of osteoporosis preventive behaviors among low-income middle-aged women, and to determine the impact of these variables on osteoporosis preventive behaviors. The subjects were 317 middle-aged women from low-income who visited three general hospitals in P city, and data were collected from February 1, 2021 to December 30, 2022 using structured questionnaires. The collected data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation, and Stepwise multiple linear regression using SPSS/WIN 27.0 program. As a result of the study, the osteoporosis knowledge of the subjects was low at 11.97±6.89 points, which showed a difference in the case of osteoporosis prevention education, fracture experience. The osteoporosis prevention behavior was low at 41.03±7.63 points, which showed a difference according to religion, comorbidity, osteoporosis prevention education and fracture experience, and subjective health status. There was a statistically positive correlation between osteoporosis knowledge and osteoporosis prevention behavior(r=.527, p<.001), and the factors affecting osteoporosis prevention behavior were fracture experience(𝛽=.415, p<.001), osteoporosis prevention education(𝛽=.359, p<.001), and self-rated health(𝛽=.186, p<.001). Therefore, it is necessary to develop a program that can promote osteoporosis prevention behavior of middle-aged women in low-income and to prepare measures to encourage participation.

This study investigates the influence of emotional intelligence and professional self-concept on retention intention in nurses. The participants were 170 nurses from three hospitals in B city. Data were collected with structured questionnaires, from May 7 to May 30, 2019, and analyzed by applying descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and stepwise multiple regression, using the SPSS/WIN 24.0 program. Our results reveal the level of emotional intelligence to be 4.82(7), professional self-concept 2.61(4), and retention intention 5.47(8). We observed that the retention intention positively correlates with emotional intelligence and professional self-concept. The factors influencing retention intention were professional self-concept (β=.456, p<.001), age (β=-.228, p<.001) and holidays (β=.197, p=.002). This regression model determines the intention retention to be 35.9%. We propose that it is necessary to develop and make available programs embracing factors that prevent and reduce retention intention in nurses.
A survey was conducted by the staff of the College of Medicine and School of Public Health, Seoul National University in cooperation with Seoul Special City from 1 December 1967 through 28 February 1968, on such events as delivery, death, abortion and pregnancy. The survey directed to a total population of 47,811 residing in 9,157 households led us to the following findings: 1. Two year averages of crude birth rate, crude death rate and natural increase rate were 30.1, 5.6 and 24.5, respectively. 2. Of all deliveries, home and hospital deliveries constituted 61.1 per cent and 35.5 per cent, respectively. 3. Deliveries other than hospital deliveries were found to be attended more often by mother-in-laws (26.5 per cent) than by doctors or midwives(23.4 per cent). 4. About 51 per cent of all women having experiences in pregnancy during the last two years had an experience of consulting a doctor at least one time throughout whole period of pregnancy. 5. In most cases scissors were used to cut umbilical cords, of which 71.0 per cent were not sterilized and only 20.3 per cent sterilized. 6. In many cases placenta was incinerated(48.2 per cent) and on many other occasions it was thrown away into water(28.3 per cent). 7. Cement bags(37.4 per cent), gauze and absorbent cotton(29.8 per cent) were found to be most frequently used to receive new-born babies. 8. In 1966 8. 8 per cent of the women had at least one abortion induced and in 1967 the percentage was 9.2 per cent. 9. Nearly all(95.8 per cent) of the induced abortions reportedly were done at doctor's clinics. 10. Of all the abortions induced 65.3 per cent were done by specialists in obstetrics, 30.3 per cent by general practitioners and 2.7 per cent by midwives. 11. Those who experienced spontaneous abortions were 1.9 per cent of all women both in 1966 and 1967. 12. About 9.2 per cent of women investigated were found to be currently pregnant. 13. Age specific death rate turned out to be highest among those under 1 year of age. 14. Ten major causes of death in their order of frequency were: 15. Places of death can be classified into homes(75.3 per cent) and hospitals(13.2 per cent). 16. Method of disposing of corpses comprised burials(54.2 per cent) and cremations(44.6 per cent). 17. Infant, neonatal and hebdomadal mortality rates have been computed at 32.2, 18.9 and 13.7, respectively. 18. Infants were found to have died either at homes(81.5 per cent) or at hospitals(18.5 per cent). 19. Birth registrations had been done for about 18.5 per cent of the dead infants.

This study was undertaken to identify factors influencing care burden among spouses of young women afflicted with breast cancer. Totally, 130 spouses of young women with breast cancer, who were hospitalized or visited one of the three general hospitals in B city, were enrolled for the study. Data was collected between January 3 to March 31, 2016. The mean, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients and stepwise multiple regression were analyzed by applying the SPSS/WIN 18.0 program. Social support had the greatest impact on care burden (β=-0.41, p<0.001), followed by marital intimacy (β=-0.26, p=0.001), age (β=0.18, p=0.009) and perceived economic status (β=-0.14, p=0.039). The explanatory power was determined to be 42% (F=24.41, p<0.001). Our findings indicate the necessity to develop social support programs that help reduce the care burden of spouses of young women afflicted with breast cancer. Moreover, there is a need to develop differentiated programs by considering marital intimacy, age and perceived economic status.

As a professional occupation for women is incereaing through a high-standard specialization, I think the upbringing for productive woman expert who has a strong motive of accomplishment as a developed person as well as a technical and skilful capacity which can be contributed to the growth of organization is very important. So in this study, I am evaluating the technical disposition of character of professional nurses working with hospital and also trying to supply the basic data being served to th extension of a skillful ability as a nurse, understanding the important factor related to it. The research method applied here is that we used 527 of formed questionnaires which were distributed to 7 University and General Hospitals, somewhat large in a scale, located in Seoul as an analytical material. It was performed between October 11, 1988 and October 18, 1988. An implement which was invented by Cho Moo-Sung is used after being amended and supplemented, which can measure the disposition of professional character. The formation of questionnaires of the disposition of character is 26 totally, 10 for Open-disposition, 11 for Active-disposition, 5 for wise-disposition, and it was measured. 'Ye', or 'No' through an one-half-standard and the environment of hospital organization is composed 12 questions from one point of 'Very Good' to 5 points of 'Very Bad.'
